Family Dollar false accusations

I went into the store today with my 6 year old daughter, and when I was ready to pay for my stuff, the cashier by the name of Kristina asked my daughter if she walked in with a headband on... yes! She did I just picked her up from school, you can check your cameras too cause I don't have to or need to steal anything... that's the whole purpose of why I was already paying for my things... there was no need to even ask that question to my six year old... spoke to the manager by the name of Frank, and all he said is she had rights to say that... but only targeted us while there is a lot of other girls in the store with hair things... I will NOT EVER be at your store again you have lost my business... and I will let my friends, and family know as well...

Family Dollar I purchased a cell phone air conditioning vent holder

I went into the family dollar store on saturday to return a product that. Was defected. I was told to find the manager. I did locate her & told her that I purchased the product 2 days ago from the watkinsville store.

She told me I broke it without even looking at it. Said it was not broken when you bought it. She told me she had no patience to deal with me that day. I asked her for her name. She said her name was veronica & to get the hell out of her store in front of all her customers. She was even coming towards me & I feared she was going to attack me. I am an elderly person & disabled

I have been in sales for over 45yrs & I have never treated a paying customers with such disrespect & embarrassment. Especially the elderly & disabled.
I will never buy another product from family dollar stores. If this is the kind of employees/managers that you are. Now hiring. I feel sorry for the elderly & the disabled people getting mistreated.

I am filing charges against veronica for harassment & assault charges...

Family Dollar store policy

I shop at family dollar all the time. I went in tonight to the one in demotte Indiana, my total was $23.78 when I went to pay with a 50.00 which was all I had I was told I had to spend at least $35.00 to pay with a $50.00. If that's the case then signs need to be put up before you walk in. You just lost my and my families business. I will be sure to get the new "rule" of your stores out there so other people don't go In there.

Family Dollar store clutter/ dirty/ smells/ rude worker

Store was cluttered with boxes and carts full of stuff all over store..milk cooler smells like rotten milk.. Floors are nasty ..one lady name candy was rude to 3 different customers.and I watched her for 10 min walk around and do nothing but talk on her phone.. I felt so sorry for one worker in there bc she was stocking the food and running the register ..only one I seen that was even trying to do anything .. Don't know her name but she was young kinda skinny girl very helpful ..my opinion need to hire some more workers like her

Family Dollar damaged and expired eggs

I bought a dozen of eggs just last week. I decided to make meatballs on Saturday open up the egg to find that two had been broken and the egg whites spilled over onto the other eggs making them stick to the egg container. Making the product unacceptable to use. I was so pissed off I had put my hamburger back in the fridge run to Family Dollar in Cohoes N Y. I bring the broke eggs to the manager who was very rude and told me she could not take back the eggs without a receipt. Then accused me of breaking the eggs myself and say how did I know you even bought them here like I stole them from the store. Then I really got pissed off. I was going call the police but I said so I'm have to eat 3 dollars. Look at these broken eggs I bought here I work two jobs so I can eat. This is the second time I have had a problem in this store. The last time I tried to return soda bottle that I bought from the same store. Just to be told they don't do bottle return. So I called up the regional manager and filed a complain about it. Cause if they take the money for a bottle return they need to be able to give you back your money you spent at the store. So I had to fight it again and got my money back for the soda bottle I bought there. This is the worst customer service ever. I'm never going to shop at Family Dollar again. I'm so done.

I always check the exp date and the condition of eggs that I'm ringing up for a customer without even thinking about it. It should be a set practice for all associates but its not something your trained on. Just common sense I thought..

Family Dollar manager at buffalo tx store

The manager named April is rude and never greets customers when they enter the store. Twice when I have went when the store is supposed to be open they are late opening and she is the manager that is there. She has very bad customer relation skills. She is always on her phone or talking to people that are obviously her kids. She doesn't seem to care about the store at all

Family Dollar clerk at kanab family dollar/the mess and disaster problem

First of all, the family dollar in Kanab is very cluttered with product in the isles, but when I go in I usually spend a hundred dollars or more, so that being said I was very distressed about what happened today October 5, 2018 : I went in and bought some halloween decor, two pairs of sunglasses and and a scarf. I did not get home with the sunglasses, I went back and told the clerk, he said he had put it in my bag and it's probably still in there, I assured him it wasn't and to please look around the counter, he would not and just ignored me and went about his business (which was nothing I assume) I really would like The Family Dollar in Kanab to be cleaned and organized, so when something doesn't get in the bag, the clerks can find them for the customer and I would like the two pairs of glasses that I purchased.

As long as you have your receipt, they should be able to look on their camera to figure out what happened.

Family Dollar employees and how dirty it is

I don't know what has happened in the last few months but this store has gotten some rude employees and the outside of the building has had the same trash sitting around the building for weeks now and the inside is so nasty also. It's a shame because this location has been one of my favorites but I won't even do business there any more due to the employees.

Family Dollar bad manager services

I go daily to Dollar General I spend money all of a sudden there's a policy she's saying that we can't take our purses in the store that we got to leave him in the car I walk there all the time so I take my purse all the time I have no car to put my purse in so I had to leave the store I have all my receipts that I spend money there I think she just had a bad experience when I used to work with her at Walmart I don't know who takes care of these things but she ain't a good manager I hope they talk to her about this because things will never get settled I used to be a customer service manager at Walmart for many years and that isn't a way to do customer service in fact I trained her a little bit when she started working at Walmart I got to carry my medications with me so I have to take my purse with me I have sugar diabetes think Mike sugar might get low all of a sudden so I got to take my stuff with me I don't know how you take care of this but that was a bad policy if that is a policy but I couldn't take my purse in the store and it wasn't even that big I showed her what was in my purse

Family Dollar service at the store

The manager is rude they never open 2 cash register's it was 20 people in line & the manger shut down the cash register he was working so that left only 1 register open I asked him why was he shutting down his register he said it was too many people in line. This is a major issue with this store people walk in/out when they see how long the wait is.

Family Dollar the service and conditions of store

I left my phone at the register. The meaning behind me picked it up and ask who's it was no one said anything so the cashier and manager let him have it. Instead of taking it from him 20 minutes I came back and it was stolen. She check the cameras and she told me that he sold it to someone else in the store. They let him steal my phone and tell it to someone while in their store. This is not the first incident that I've had with them and I've been a customer for many years. Something needs to be done about this store specifically.

Family Dollar air wick lavender mist

On October 3 2018, I went to the family dollar store on second st in Manchester, NH. I had decided to purchase an Air Wick lavender mist setup because there was ad posted right below it stating that it was an in store sale for $5.00 regularly $10.00 with an additional smart coupon added to Make it $4.75. I checked it several times to make sure it was the right one I was picking and that I had the scent I liked. I finished shopping for about 10 more minutes and brought my things to the register. While the clerk was ringing them up I had Asked her if the coupon was showing up to which she stated no. I explained that it was posted right under the item so she asked her site Manger to check. The assistant manager came back and said nope is not on sale and again I explained in detail what the ad said and she stomped her feet, so he had at me like a child and proceeded to walk back to the area at which point I followed her to show her. Upon arrival to the area the ad was no longer posted and she was saying see there's nothing and ate you sure you weren't mistaking them to which I responded no because none of the other ads final price came to $4.75. I decided not to buy the item and when arriving back to the registers the Mgr threw some kind of paper out into a red carrier on the floor when she came back. I was made to feel like I was lying or crazy. If it was a mistake the ad being up early or late that's understandable and easy to explain but to take it down and say there was nothing there is inexcusable as well as the asst. Mgr. Stomping her feet and shaking get head to walk back to the area with me.
I've been a good customer with Family Dollar and am very insulted by this behavior. This is not the first time heyr attitude has been inappropriate. The assistant managers name is Debra Star Dustin.

Family Dollar customer service/manager

I went into the Dollar Store located on 19408 US-84 Hernandez NM 87537. I was going to get a few items for dinner after work. I got everything I needed when I went to pay I asked the woman at the register if I can get cash back.She seemed upset that I asked rolled her eyes as she scanned the rest of my items. I went to pay with my debit card.She told me I owed her a dollar. I told her it charges a dollar that I don't owe her a dollar the transaction always charges that for cash back.She told me she had to rescan my items.I asked for a manager because she had already charged my card and could not give me the cash back. She said yah there should be someone there all over ringing the bell loudly at the register angry.I was told her if she can't give me the cash back it's ok. The Manger then comes tells me that they need to rescan my items I informed him I paid he tells me u owe us a dollar.By this point I'm all ready getting fustrated especially with both of them being extremely rude. I advised him I get cash back all the time when you do debit it charges your card.He tells me if you are going to get additue get out of the store and don't come back.I wasn't even sure my money would go back on my card.I did not take my items and I was charged. I have never seen such unprofessional people especially from a so called "Manager"

Family Dollar lack of customer service

On Wednesday, October 3, 2018 @ approx. 8:05 A.M., I went into one of the Family Dollar locations @ 6337 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, Pa.19141. Store phone number: [protected].

The store clerk, sales associate or store manager - uncertain of the employee's title, severely lacked good customer service skills. (Caucasian woman; brown hair; wore a pony tail.)

Although she was about to approach the delivery guy, to scan some items, when I came into the store to purchase an item, she hadn't started scanning until after I approached the register. The delivery guy was polite enough to suggest to her a few times to assist me. He had approx. 10 crates of items that needed to be scanned. She mentioned "no" to him, as well as, made some type of weird sound, I am assuming, in place of saying "no"; as well. I stood there long enough to watch her scan some items, after another suggestion or 2, that he made to her to assist me & she told him "no". The end result was, she never approached the register to assist me, nor did she apologize for her inconsiderateness when I proceeded to walk out of the door. (I am assuming, but not certain, because it was a cute delivery guy.) I am a FREQUENT Family Dollar patron (not just that location), along with my children. Every time I purchase something for myself, my children are making purchases as well. She totally made me feel disrespected as a customer. I am only "1" person, how many other people is she doing that to?

I decided to go to Dollar General, where I received good customer service.

Family Dollar smell

Family Dollar on South Anthony and McKinnie in Fort Wayne IN. I really do not know if you drug test your employees, but maybe you should. Especially when you walk in the doors and you can automatically smell weed. The further you walk to the back of the store, the stronger it gets. Smoking it is one thing, but smoking it in the work place is a whole nother story.

Drug testing is recommended but not mandatory. Unfortunately if it was mandated, we'd probably lose at least half our applicants from an already small candidate pool.

Family Dollar very bad experience

My name Is Manuel Sanchez I have been living in the neighborhood for more than 15, years always spend money at this store but today a lady stop me at front when I was ready to pay that she need to check my work bag and my shopping bag, I fell so horrible never before someone do that to me in front of a lot of people I let her checked but I desire to leave the store and not buy all the staff that I had on my hand so shame that she did that been shopping there for long time I feel sad and angry that this happens to me because after this I will never go there again hope no body else have to go through that .

Family Dollar injured

I was shopping at the local family around the corner from my apartment and i was involved in a accident where the ceiling tile came crashing down on me. I was okay atleast I thought until I made it home. It was flooding and I had just got off of work and I was ready to go so I left, i wasnt in no pain at the time, I called the store to see if the manager made a report. She was very rude because I had told her I was okay before I left. I haven't been contacted by no one and I cannot speak to someone when I call corporate. The accident is on video

Family Dollar customer service/ filthy store

I went to purchase dog food. The shelves were empty. We found the manager and asked her if the was any in the back. She told us everything was on the floor. We walked by the back room and could clearly see thru the window a whole u boat with the dog food we needed. The whole store is filthy and very unorganized. They put clothing items in the bath and body section. Upper management needs to do something and clean up the store as well as the employees. Very disappointed!

Family Dollar alarm clock

I bought an alarm clock at FD Store, 3230 Falls Dr., Dallas, Tx 75211, on Sunday, 10-30-18. It was too difficult to for my elderly friend to figure out. I went back with my receipt, the clock packed back in box it came in, and this was paid by cash. The clerk said they were not allowed to give refunds on electronic products. I went to a Family Dollar on Cockerell Hill road, and they give me a refund with no problem. I will never go back to the Falls Drive Store. Very unprofessional woman, and other person at front walked off when the line was long.

Family Dollar manager

Manager at store located by emerson and english ave. She insulted me and accussed me of being an accesory to a bike theft thst i had nothing ti do with because i spoke to him in store askin for the dollar i bummed off him on walk to store ..i mafe it clear had just met him on walk there .. i frequently shop there becauze im not mobile and its one of few stores around .. i feel like i was personaly attackd by her and falsely acussed as she had a line of customers waiting to check out And was consumed with the bike and i was humilated as there were several customers listening to her implying that i was in on it .. said oh yea u go round talkn to guts u dnt kno.

Well yea i sure do And its not your business if i bum a dollar off stranger.. she had no right acussing me of veing an accomplianxe if u ask store employess i talk to them im lonely and i shopp Ed there all tge time... Not comfirtable shopping there with her accusations ik she has already told staff i was involved in the theft i would take lie detector test.. your manger is so rude yhe assiant mang is much better u should make her manager

You should close the store or make much need management changes ..assitant mang. Should replace that hag of a manager she needs to keep ur mouth off oeople rude and pushy and acts as if customer is an inconvience to her

Sisseton, SD: Tuesday, 10/2/18 I returned a battery operated wall clock, that was cracked. the cashier said he had to talk to the manager because it is suppose to be returned in 1 day. he did talk to the manager & returned my $6.00. I went shopping in the store & when I was at the check out, she was standing there & said she didn't notice it was cracked? I said I didn't notice it & was looking at the clock numbers because it was a pretty clock & when I got home I noticed it then. she then said "I don't tolerate people being rude to my employees." I said "rude? I wasn't rude, I said "there is a notice here on returns that say we have 30 days to return an item for exchange or refund." she says "well I don't like people being rude to my employees" the cashier said " no, it was not like that, I just walked back there to ask" she then said well I have a 24 hour return policy on electronics, anything with a battery is electronic" & turns & walks away. the cashier apologized to me saying "I'm sorry about that". that manager was very rude to me & didn't need to speak to me like that in front of other customers, I'm paying customer who is 65 years old that goes to that store frequently. there is another dollar store in town, I'll go there instead till this manager is gone. this store has such a big turn over all the time. all the managers I've met working there previously were ALWAYS friendly & helpful. I will let family & friends know about this person!
