Family Dollar an employee

I went to the store to get school supplies for two of my kids i had my baby in the basket . I have noticed that their is a man starrin and me as he walks by he works there ( he is a colored man, im have nothin against him or anyone) then my baby starts crying and my kids had already gotten everythin they needed i was walkin to pay but my baby was still crying so i look up and the man was right there and tells me really rude to do something avout my baby that he cant be in there crying or to leave the store . I mean i get the point where crying babys might be annoying but that is no right way to treat a customer or he didnt have to be rude so i dont plan on goin back

Family Dollar employee

I went to exchange a spray can that didn't work your employee told my not with it reciept..I said done continued my shopping as I went to get another spray I noticed several of them didnt work..as I went to check out I told the cashier several of the sprays didnt work and asked for a manager she told me he would be in later on I asked what his name was she said Matt and started acting mad because I asked for a manager I paìd for my items and she didn't hand me my bag so I reached over my basket and took my items as I was leaving the store the cashier threw the basket in my direction which crashed on the floor behind me I stepped back in and asked her did you throw that as me in which she responded no I was trying to hit the other baskets I said I think you were tryin to hit me..I left the store and called corporate and emailed..I spoke to my attorney who told me to go back thump the store and take a picture and talk too the manager..I did go back and took a picture and spoke with Matt who told me to leavethe store because the same employee started screaming at me sayin she threw it after I was poor the door Matt asked me to exit which he walked away and I started to leave when the employee stayed she wished she would have hit me in the head I asked Matt if he heard the comet he said no and asked me to exit..I did..I filled a police report for my lawyer and to show that this employee tried to hit me..It your policy for employees to throw the baskets at customers who pay? Or to try to make up stories about it..I want you to look at the tape my lawyer will be requesting a copy..Your employee could have hit a child or anyone who could of been walking in she threw the basket at least 4ft from the cash register..I have a picture and you have the video..I have filed a police report with Minneapolis Police Dept..This behavior will not be tolerated or go unnoticed..

Family Dollar manager unprofessional

My daughter went in to store#10026 the address is 806 South 16th Avenue in Laurel, Ms. The date was 08/14/2018 and the time was 04:15:28. My daughter had an incident that happened at her school on 08/10/18. The store manager heard about it through her coworker. So when my two daughters came into the store, the store manager started questioning her about the situation. She then told my daughter it was her fault and created an entire discussion about the situation with other customers. This same manager is always relaxing and never working much. Her and I had a heated shouting match outside the store when I asked her not to question my kids. She even has this man that's always hanging around the store relaxing with her. He started yelling back at me along with her. This manager is very lazy. She acts like she is at home when she is at work. The store is a mess with freight everywhere and tripping hazards. During our dispute I told her I was gonna report her and she said she doesn't care! The store manager should have never questioned my underage child! She should focus on her store and her store only! I need to speak with someone about her unprofessionalism!

Family Dollar conditions of the driveway entrance

The entrance of the drive way has a "HUGE DEEP POT HOLE" surrounded by other small holes around it. The drive way sits between your store and another business on the left. The other business address is...

The hole actually swallows an entire front tire. Someone is going to damage their car or fall in it and sue for negligence... especially at night.

I contacted the city on July 30th thinking it was their responsibility to make the repairs. They responded as follows...
Thank you for contacting the City of Jacksonville. The driveway is the responsibility of the businesses at this location, and therefore the owner would be responsible for the repairs. Also, if the pothole extends out into Atlantic Blvd, this would be the responsibility of FDOT as Atlantic Blvd is a state maintained roadway.

I encourage you to contact the other business and make a "joint" financial effort to make these repairs before it becomes a legal affair. Worse yet..before it starts affecting your business. I for one don't look forward to shopping there and dealing with the danger.

Refused to accept a return... said I have to go back to where I came from... cursed at me in front of cashier... very rude when I walked in ... when asked for a manger she said I am ...and I said no I'm not returning it... the product I purchased was for my son and school ... the headphones were echoing and I just needed to return them i have my receipt

Family Dollar maintenance and security and gangs

My husband and I and our 7 year old son were going fishing on August 13, 2018 in Rex Georgia. We stopped at family Dollar on Rex Rd. And 42 hwy for some drinks and a rope and some oil for our car. As we pulled in from the back side of the store the first thing u see is garbage, garbage falling out of the wood enclosure that the dumpster is in also the parking lot just had trash everywhere, a mattress or box spring was laying in the parking with garbage all over it. Inside were a lot of younger adults just hanging out, cery loud, cussing loud, and apparently we're running the store and they were hanging out in the parking lot doing the same thing, the inside was just as trashy as the outside. I have pics of the garbage

Family Dollar heartless manager

Two weeks ago I was shopping in the Family Dollar at 133 Water St, Fitchburg, MA. I am disabled and was in my power wheel chair as usual the aisles are narrow and generally blocked with some kind of merchandise. When I tried to turn a little to go back out, my left foot went under the bottom shelf and shook things off of both sides. One of the clerks came to see and she was so nice. But, when I went to see the manager was in the middle of a conversation with a friend, I tried to tell him and just shrugged his shoulders and went back to his friend. No, name, no incident report, nothing! I paid for my purchases. By the time I got home I realized it may be serious, then a few days later my foot was swollen and navy blue. I went urgent care and they read me the riot said I have cellulitis and am on a strong antibiotic. Let me just say that I loved that store and I can't go in there anymore.

Family Dollar gift card/ supposed manager kelsea m.

I purchased a gift card so I wouldn't have to carry cash in the store, I asked if I was able to buy ANYTHING in the store with this card and was told yes. Well tonight I went in and asked for a bag of tobacco and tubes and was told that I wasn't allowed to buy that with the gift card. I proceeded to ask for her to show me where it says that in writing which she couldn't do. She then told me that SHE wouldn't sell it no matter what the policy said and when I asked to speak with the manager she said she was the manager even though I'm pretty sure she's not even 18 years old. Needless to say I'll be shopping elsewhere and anyone I know is going to be strongly urged to do the same.

Family Dollar laura rice store manager

My husband and I are new to the area . We rode oyr bikes to this location to purchase items for our new home. I had 200.00 in my wallet to spend tonight at your store but instead spent my money at the Dollar General . I left your store bawling my eyes out bc as soon as we walk in the store the cashier started ringing the bell yelling for the manager . She had a gentleman in line that she told hold on these two are thieves and come in the store all the time and shoplift. UNTRUE THIS WAS MY FIRST VISIT TO THIS LOCATION EVER ! Within one minute were approached by Laura Rice your imcompetent store manager who reeked of marijuana . Im a substance abuse counselor and Im certain the smell that was all over your store manager. She says did the two of you come on those bikes outside ? Yes we told her and very loudly in front of everyone in the store she said you two need to leave now or im calling the police. Confused my husband said why ? She said just because now leave now. I showed her my wallet full of money she said good for you leave now. I was in tears at this point . We did what was asked of us and came home calling our attorney. Im the niece of the mayor as well who was contacted immediately along with News Channel 15 on your side. Ive never been more humiliated in my entire life. Im a taxpayer and have a right to come into your store and shop just like anyone else. She apparently thought we were someone else and that we were going to steal . My husband and I both have very good jobs and have never ever stolen a thing in our entire lives. Ill be filing a lawsuite against this store for discrimination and being falsley accused of something im not. Your store manager however to avoid the embarrasment this lawsuit could bring to your store could apologize to my husband and I both. I deal with a large part of this county due to the type of work I do. Had one of my patients or anyone that knows me been in this store at the time Mrs. Rice did this it could of been upsetting for someone to believe this of me when im nothi g even close as to what I was accused of. Family Dollar slandering my name to customers that come into the store.

I quit about 3 weeks ago at store #3726. I was an Assistant Manager there. I have alrady talked to the store Manager 3 times and the District Manager Cathy once and left 1 voice mail to her about this issue. Nothing has been done. Robyn Patton (Store Manager) has been talking to other employees and customers of the store about me and spreading lies about me. I called today and talked to the Store Manager in the Sterling, Colorado store about this too. I need this to stop and to stop immediately. I have another job already and happy now. She needs to do the same and move on and quit spreading lies to the public about me. She is also doing it about three other employees that quit at the same time as me. This is so very unprofessional. If need be i will be getting a lawyer and i will sue the store manager, district manager and family dollar. I have at least 20 people that will testify for me and i can supena a few more that i know she has also talked to. I am tring to go about this the nice way but nothing seems to be working. If i could have someone in a higher position call me so we can get this settled i would be greatly appreciated.

Family Dollar customer service

2013 Central Ave # 4, Dubuque, IA 52001. My mom, her husband, my boyfriend and I went to family dollar on August 9th for a couple important things and a couple things we wanted. There is a woman named Candy. She is a manager but has the worst customer service I have seen. We had to get a few things. Well one of them was going to be a bouncy ball for a little boy. We ended dropping one and bounced the other to make sure it wasn't flat or had a hole. The one we dropped I was getting ready to pick up when the Candy came to the top of the isle and said to all of us. She said we are grown [censored] adult. She would expect that from a kid but not [censored]ing grown ups. Then we told her we were getting ready to pick up when she said that if we dont pick it up now then we can get the [censored] out of her store. She constantly kept swearing and yelling at us for no reason. So what we already had that we needed we went a checked out. She was the only one working so 2 people out of the 4 of us went out. I tryrd yo stay there with my mom but she wouldn't stop so I walked out to. My moms husband then poked his head in and said is that [censored] about done yelling at you and treating you like [censored]. So then she finished checking my mom out and told her if any of us come back into that store we will be escorted out. So all of this happened because we accidentally dropped the ball and checked out another... as long as she's there I will never shop there again no matter what. That is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Family Dollar refunding my coupons because the scanner was broke

Saturday 8/11/[protected]:04:43--I went to check-out noticing a sign "CASH ONLY" taped over scanning machine. The cashier informed me that it had been down they were waiting for it to be fixed. Having a FULL buggy, I decided to go to the atm machine close by to get cash. Came back and paid for my items. As I was leaving wondering why my total was $86.19 I realized that all my digital coupons were not included. I went back in store and explained my issue. Cashier said there was no way to refund my coupons due to the fact the scanner was down and I would have to bring everything back in do a full refund and re-buy the items one the following day.
This being a BIG inconvienence: #1-Travel time one way for me is 30mins to the store --#2 Saturday is the only day for the $5.00 coupon--#3 the ATM cost me an extra $5 for the transaction cause it was not my bank #4 some of the coupons I was using expired on this day.
I am requesting a refund please. Please inform me of the status of your decision. I am a regular customer, in which I go this store at the least 3'xs a week.

Family Dollar assistant manager

I went to the family dollar store this morning located at 2165 W High St, Hanover, Oh 43055 as I do everyday. I didn't see the sign on the door saying they wouldn't open until noon because of the remodel and as I was walking to the door a woman said to just go in. The new assistant manager let me know that they wouldn't open until noon. I apologized and walked out the door. I seen her walk out behind (the assistant manager) me and I turned and said you might want to put a sign on the door to let people know. That was when I seen the sign and immediately said on i see the sign now and the assistant manager said know a rude voice the signs right there in big letters! I said you don't have to be rude then she said what did you say (again this was in a rude voice) so I said you don't have to be a smart [censored] i didn't see the sign. I then asked her name because I was going to let Caleb the manager know how she had treated me and she wouldn't tell me, she just got ruder and kept making me feel like I was stupid. I told her she was acting like a [censored] and I would not return until they found a new assistant manager. The last assistant manager had her moments but was not half as rude as this new one.

Family Dollar service

I went in and bought 2 packs of bar s hot dogs on the price tag it said 1.25 n rang up 3.00 I called n cashier was really nice said for me to go bck in n he would fix it when I got there the manager said he couldn't do anything about it I told him it is false advertisement doin that and told him well then I guess I'll get a lawyer he was very rude unprofessional and forgot that the customer is always right I'm including a pic of the price tag and my receipt I'm a single mother and I need every penny I can get esp when it comes to my food stamps so I'd kindly appericate your giving my situation your attention and a way to rectify this mishapp have a great day

Family Dollar tropic sun sport sunscreen spf50

My husband and I were on vacation in Sturgis South Dakota on August 10th. I stopped at the Family Dollar and bought this Tropic Sun sunscreen. we were able to use it twice and the button will no longer push down to use it. Family Dollar customer service

Family dollar store #12176 at 4007 Northside Dr Macon, GA - Saturday 8/11/2018 at 1:00pm. Tiawana (said shes the manager) was at the register when I walked up to purchase my items. Clerk had ear buds in & had a personal conversation the entire time she was ringing up my items. She never acknowledged me or made eye contact while talking on her phone about how much she paid for a cup of ice from Nuways for breakfast. I wasn't going to say anything to her even though she was rude. I saw my total (about $26) and handed her a hundred dollar bill & 2 quarters. She got my change out the drawer handed it to me & told me I could grab my receipt. I told her customer service goes a long way & she was rude for talking on her phone & not even speaking. I then told her she didn't even count my change out to me or tell me how much it was. Her response was its not her job to tell me how much the change is its on the receipt. I proceeded to get my bags which she never handed to me & was about to walk out the store when she made the comment "THATS WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU'LL NOW". At that point I turned back around & told her customer service is first when dealing with people. I asked for the manager & she said she was the manager. This young lady was rude & if she's a manager then I'm scared to see how the rest of the employees are. I have never given someone my money & they dont Count it out in front of me or at least tell me how much I'm getting back. Having a personal conversation with a customer in front of you is very poor customer service.

Family Dollar ajax and soap

I was in the store and purchased my items for $4.40 cents i paid with 20.00 dollars i just got from my bank account and the young lady gave me $5.60 cents back. Next i replied that i gave you 20 dollars she said i thought you gave me a 10 dollars i said no mama she said it was. Secondly, i said let me see the manager and explain to her what happen and she was nice and gave me my correct change which was $15.60 but in the process i left my items and they said it wasnt in there. I was very dissatisfied with the customers service and i will never shop at that unorganized location again.

Family Dollar service

I went into the store like I do daily and the same guy is always working I bring it to his attention that I had a Dr pepper that I was bring in to see if I could leave it at the register he goes I need your purse I said for [censored]ing what cause u can't have it in my store where there was several people with purses bigger than mine so I said why you didn't take that [censored]es purse so he calls manager and as I was going to get tampons so I went ahead on and he didn't know I was right there's he starts talking [censored] about me to another customer unprofectional if you ask me so I said [censored] it walked out and a lady was walking in as I was walking out he didn't say [censored] to her I was like you ain't going to take this [censored] purse.and they was calling the law I told them go ahead and if I don't get a call back you guys will hear from my lawyer. Family Dollar bluetooth wireless neck earbuds

I went to three different Family dollars about this product. the Locations was 100 West 95th, Chicago, twice and 6349 South Cottage Grove Chicago. At both of them I tried to get a refund on the product. I was told that Family Dollars I was told that Family Dollar does not do refund on Electronics and that was they policy so I could not get my money back. I do not that that is fair and I think that this policy should be changed for the customers that buy electronics from Family Dollar Stores. My Name is Leon Smith, my number is [protected]. I also think that if the Electronic Product do not work that an individual should be stuck with it.

Family Dollar store and staff

The store is VERY dirty and messy, it's like nobody knows what recovery or cleaning is . There are boxes mounted up on every corner, nothing is in its place. I literally have no words to how disgusting and disorganized the store is. I can't recall one time where the staff has been either nice or helpful which makes the experience even worse. I honestly have no idea the how they pass a DM visit or any really.
