Family Dollar duracell charger for iphones

I purchased a charger on Friday 11/16/18. The manager there mrs Bernice ring me up. It was about 3:30 Friday evening. I went home to charge my phone with the new charger in which I had just paid for. The charger was $8.56, so once I made it home to charge phone 📱 It charged about a lil over 5hrs and it only gotten 40% charge.. so I took the charger back because it was charging to slow. The manager there at that time was mr Eugene he swapped the product out for a more expensive charger which was a Duracell charger and it cost 2$ more. And once this transaction was made I was given a new receipt and and it didn't have hardly anything on the receipt it appeared that the ink was out or something so the cashier named Jessica wrote her name on it and I asked her and mr Eugene both before I exited out of the store suppose I have to bring this product back for any reason what are we gone do about this mid printed receipt. He said tell them to call me and I'll verify it's no problem so with his reassurance I left and went home to use charger again and opened pack plugged charger in and it did not work on my phone it kept making a noise as if my phone needed to be charged and it would pop on and off . So I took that one back to store. Mind u that manager mr Eugene reassured me if problem bring it back no problem. So I'm there at store for refund . He now tells me I can't get a refund I bring my original receipt plus my misprinted receipt and the packaged product in same package and I can't get a refund and not only that the lady Jessica checked and plugged my phone and experienced the same problem as I did when she examined the charger plugged to my phone. And I can't get a refund! R u serious! Even after his reassurance before I left store of the purchase. That's not right if this was going to be the encounter he should have told me when he swapped product out that if u bring this back and so forth. But no info as that at all nothing but no problem. And at this time it's a big big problem. So he said see mrs Bernice in the morning. First thing Saturday morning I got up went to store to get refund from mrs Bernice and she told me I couldn't get a refund either and that it is store policy which I know is a bunch of crap that she have to plug it up on her phone and test it well i don't own her phone and if it works on her phone I can't get my money back. That's the most awful crap I've ever heard and coming from management. I don't walk around with her phone the problem is the charger didn't work with my phone and I'm demanding a refund. I shouldn't be forced to keep a product that does not work for me on my! My! Phone that I rightfully own. And I spent my hard earned money for.. and I want it back I've followed all procedures from product in its packaging and the receipts and oh yeah they kept my original receipt from very first purchase on Friday at 3:30. Talked to both managers and still no refund. I shop in this store all the time almost daily. And this is how I get treated. And for them to be managers this treatment is unacceptable and they gave me some wrong and misguided information. And I will and want my money back ASAP!😡😡😡😡😡. I spend too too much money in family dollar to be treated like this and told lies to. And Mrs Bernice told me she doesn't make the policy she just works there. If that is you all policy which I seriously doubt it then I need to see it in writing about if a charger or something works in her phone but doesn't work on the customer phone the don't get a refund and they have everything that's required to have and still no refund that bologna. And if necessary I will pursue with further actions if necessary. But I hope in regards to my complaint you all would consider giving my money back and issue will be thankfully resolved. Thanks in advance🙏🙏

And I forgot to mention that I was also told by the managers that if the pack is opened that I couldn’t have a refund. My question is how am I really supposed to know if the purchased product is working or will work on my phone if it’s not opened.? Seriously what kind of management is that?

Family Dollar bluetooth speaker. rudeness

Yes I purchased a speaker at this store and it stop working so I tried to purchase another and explained to the manager on what happend.She then told me if the new one did the same I could return it.So then it happened again but thus time I didnt want to try another speaker I just wanted a refund.The young lady who was there at the time first told me she couldnt return it.Then when I informed her on what the store manager told me she still argued the fact, so I called their district manager and he spoke with her as well.She falsely gave information out that I didnt have a receipt when in fact I did..She then got off of the phone and rudely said "you can only get a gift card"This was so frustrating. I spent 45 min in this store and will not shop here again because of the rudness and the un willingness to help customers

Family Dollar a employee

Dawn Kuhn is a employee at family Dollar and she stealing cigarettes, and food with out paying for it this is a intedgerdy issue that needs to be fixed, she changes her time, and she's hides in the back when she has a cashier there she's rude, so please deal with this, the day shift are nicer and they help customer if they need something that is Amy lemasters and Cindy Roberts they are the best employee's there

Family Dollar halloween

Tuesday the 13th a friend of mine went to the family dollar on Glen lily in bowling Green. She bought some Halloween on sale for 1.50 per item. She let me know they were on sale. I went first thing the next morning. Drove 20 miles to the store. Had 5 different things to buy. The cashier scanned them and said they were one penny and couldn't sale them to me. That she would have to throw them in the trash. I ask her can't you just sale them to me for the 1.50 each, that is what I had planned to pay. She was very nice but I can't believe your policy states to throw something in the trash before letting someone purchase the item. I will never shop at your store again and I plan to share this information with my family and friends before they waste there time shopping in your store and then not able to purchase the items after all

Family Dollar everything

All the employees are liars, there cameras don't work. Poor customer service! Need to be shut down immediately! I never experienced anythibg like them before. The man working didn't give me a reciept.. I went in 5 seconds after walking out to get my reciept he says he don't have it.. How didn't he have it if I was just in the store. I gave him exact change and everything. Just a poor store unorganized. Rude butt employees

Family Dollar harassment and racial discrimination/slandering from store manager

I walked into the store and was looked upon with a look of negative from the store manager at 3:30pm monday 11/12/18. Not sure of her name but was what looked to be early 50's dirty blonde short hair with big frame glasses with white hair band/tie. I said hello and went on with my shopping. Look at good section grab roll of toilet paper and headed to the men's clothes section. I tried on one black hoodie which was too big. I grabbed up a simlar black hoodie put it on to see if it fit. That's when said store manager walked on to the end ale looking at me up and down with a anger on her face for total of 2mins till I asked her "can I help you". She said no. I then said "is there a problem am I not allowed to try on something before buying. She replied"no i'm making sure your not stealing. I told her that's o. K I don't need to steal I have money. She then said "yeah it don't matter I got your kind of people coming in and stealing [censored] all the time". I then took off the black hoodie put it in its place and told her I would take my business else where. And started head to the exit. She followed me right behind yelling at that point where everyone was looking. Saying "get out of my store i'm not letting you"kind of people"in my store stealing" following outside the store and closing the door as if I done something. I was embarrassed and humiliated as if I was criminal or had do something wrong. I called the store the same evening ask for the store manager and when she got on the phone I asked who I was speaking to but she refused to give her name. Otherwise I would have been able to give it in the complaint. I do hope and trust that there was cameras in the store to capture the event and help family dollar with identifying the store manager. I'm filing a civil rights complaint as well as moving forward to hire a attorney for the matter. I don't look at family dollar as a whole in the situation but I feel something needs to be done. I don't feel like myself or anyone else should have to go through that kind of humiliation from your employees while trying to shop in your stores. Or atleast hope you take action on this situation because I would like to continue to using your stores but at this monument i'm in fear of simular behavior from your employees. Intill I know action have been taken against her I will not step foot in another family dollar and will continue to proceed with legal progress. Nobody civil rights should be treated like that in any place of business. Hope to hear from you soon. Atleast thanks for reading my complaint.

Family Dollar store manager

I visited your store #10039 at 2041 Americana Blvd.in Orlando, fl phone#[protected] on Sunday 11-11-2018 at 9:33 a.m. as usual the parking lot was filthy and littered in trash but that's not the issue. Upon grabbing my items and getting in the check out line, I noticed the line was extremely long down the aisle with one register open. I asked an associate a young lady who was fixing the chips, if she could let somebody know or get the manager because the lines are long. After waiting for a few minutes the associate asked me if I could see the manager coming? So I loudly said hellloooo if the manager is here she needs help in the front. A guy came up very rudely and said I'm the manager and it takes me awhile to get up here. I said well sir we just want to check out. He then began going back and forth with me word for word telling me if I didn't have patience there is the door. I expressed to him that I would be calling corporate office and he said go ahead it ain't the first time and it won't be the last. I asked him for his name and his reply was (I forgot my name). After going to my car another customer came outside and told me she heard someone call him (kenny) obviously upset herself as well. I'm a loyal family dollar customer who deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, and customer service. None of which I received on 11-11-2018. This incident deeply saddened me because I was shopping with my young daughter and she witnessed a grown man who's a manager blatantly disrespect her mother. I truly am lost for words and would like some sort of resolution or apology, further more some type of action taken against this employee. I've had a bad experience EVERY SINGLE TIME I've come to this location. And after a manager himself told me to get out of his store simply because he can't manage his store or is under too much personal pressure/problems at work to do so, I promise you I will never visit that location again!My name is Lacherrica Brown phone number [protected]

Family Dollar the manager at the sonora, texas store

I waked in the store without them noticing me and I overheard the manager, sherie, ranting on and on about the "Mexicans " and cussing about why she has to sell merchandise that has to do with the Mexicans This isn't the first time I've heard her . Two months ago I went in looking for some pedialyte and I got the one that was a product of Mexico I believe and I was asked by her to put it back and get an American bottle If I live here I need to buy American she said. Very rude and hateful I have spoke with other people and they have chose to shop at the dollar general now because of her. You're company is losing aloe of customers because of her I know darn well that this isn't the first complaint against her because one of the employees there said she's sleays getting complaints z about her. Why is nothing being done about this racist lady She's a lot worse on the black people from what I've heard.

Family Dollar unethical behavior from store manager - soyala lopez

i went into store to purchase oj noticed employee putting away stock as i walked in. I tried to avoid being in the way moving myself around merchandise, when the employee almost hit me with makeup caddy not even saying excuse me or sorry. I still overlooked that situation and continued to shop after grabbing items purchased i proceeded to counter for check out. Then stood at counter while employee standing in front of me behind register saw me there along with the manager(soyala lopez) and said and did nothing. After patiently waiting a couple of minutes a then said "can i please get some help" manager replied "i'm busy stocking in a very rude tone of voice, then the other employee made her way to the register with no apologize or anything with the same rude attitude as soyala lopez. I then asked her who is the manager of that store when soyala lopez replied out loud in a very disrespectful tone "i am", i then told her she was very rude and i would be contacting the corporate office and that she needed some help on customer service. She then replied rudely "please call my name is soyala lopez " i don't care tone. I have been a faithful family dollar shopper for the last 5 years and have always walked into other stores in different locations of az and greeted with exceptional customer service until today. I'm taking time to write this complaint out of concern for other customers as well as myself so they never have to experience this type of unethical behavior from a store manager or employee . I would encourage someone from the corporate office to check store video to see and hear my "truth" and come up with a disciplinary action for soyala lopez on how to treat a customer and how to be a positive leader as a family dollar store manager. I will follow up if nothing is done will contact better business bureau on family dollar practice on "unethical behavior".

Family Dollar wireless speaker

I have sat on the phone for over 4 hours trying to get back on the line with a rep. I wanted my refund with a recipe but the store will not refund me my money. They said they will only exchange for the same item. I didn't know that when I bought the item that it could be returned. I just want my money refunded to me. I shop at this family dollar almost everyday and I have never had a problem before now.

Family Dollar rude employees

I was treated rudely and given dirty looks my mother also.I was trying to buy marked down Halloween decorations bit they was inaccessible locked in the backroom and was asked to come back tomorrow. I have never been greeted that way in my life the woman had attitudes with my mother and I. for no reason I was trying to be a paying customer and got ran off with unfriendly employees. we both spend alot of money at several family dollars. we will not return to the family dollar in Frankfort ohio ever again. I didn't even know the woman. the way my mother and I was treated was uncalled for and undeserved. I am always polite to everyone these woman don't need to be working around people obviously it's the wrong choice of career if they can't treat paying customers with kindness and respect

Family Dollar harassment by fellow customer which employees did nothing about

I was in Family Dollar at 499 N. Marion Street in Lake City, Florida on October 9, 2018 and was being harassed by a fellow customer and employees stood by and did nothing. This customer, who was black, was behind me and started ranting about she hated god d*mn mf'ing white people and wishes she could kill every f'ing one. Being white I obviously was concerned about my safety and thought the employees would step up but the one seemed to actually being defending her. Mind you this customer had and I had zero interaction between us before she started her racist rant. I never said a word to her as she obviously has mental issues and even eye contact would have escalated the situation. She finally left the store and I finished my sale and as I left the store she was outside and started cussing and threatening me again.
I have been a steady and loyal customer of this location since they have opened. They had great service then but it had definitely gone downhill in recent months. After telling my friend about my terrible and honestly frightening experience he told me that he was in the store and a brawl between 5 people broke out.
Obviously I will not be back in this store and that's a shame because I did at one point enjoy shopping there.

Family Dollar cigarettes

So for 3 months now we have been having problems buying cigarettes at the family dollar on high street in Waynesburg. the manager and other employees won't sell to me if I have anyone without id with me even if they are not wanting cigs My disabled 68 year old mother walked 2 blocks with her cane today and tried to buy cigs they asked for her id and when she provided her valid license the manager denied her cigs saying that she wouldn't sell to her because she would just give them to me. I wasn't even at the store at the time but we have several videos of this manager and other employees giving us trouble one of which has the manager talking about me directly when I'm not even there I will be sueing family dollar for slander discrimination and the manager for harassment my mother will also be posting..videos will be going up on YouTube and on facebook by Monday this is getting ridiculous I am 42 with a valid ID and she knows that there is no reason I should have never even been included in this..not to long ago my fiance went up to get cigs he does not currently have an ID and he was attacked and robbed about a month ago the manager knows this and has sold to him before this time she wouldn't sell to him and told him that if I came up to get cigs she was gonna card everyone with me even if they werent getting cigs outraged I walked up with him with my ID just to make a point stating that they couldn't Id people with me unless they were asking about cigs they sold me my cigs and I left we videoed this interaction and today when my mother went up the manager kept saying that I ruined it for everyone that I was threatening to turn her in to corporate so she was gonna Id everyone in my family not even 5 minutes before this my brother in law whom the manager does not know went in to buy cigs and wasn't carded or even asked his birthdate but yet again the manager was running her mouth again on me...again this is all on video and more and will be going up on YouTube and facebook..

Sounds to me like there's a troll replying. You really need to educate yourself on the laws and policies before you start unnecessary drama on a post that has absolutely nothing to do with you. You also may want to take a minute out and read the definition of slander and discrimination. There are many videos showing that manager verbally attacking several people, including arguing with a person that can't walk and has to use a motorized chair. People like you, obviously don't believe that everyone have the same rights in this world. Kinda pathetic you would make such a rude and uneducated comment without any facts at all. Might I suggest you troll another site and actually allow these people to warn others so that they never have to watch an elderly family member be degrated? Or is that just simply too much to ask from someone that has absolutely no knowledge of this situation? I pray when your day comes that you are not such a judgmental person and that there is mercy shown upon you for your actions. Than you for replying back to me. I was so angry at them for ow they treated me that i took my anger out on my disabled mother. They made me so angry that I hit my disabled mother. now she wants me charged with assalt because of them. they are the ones that made me so angry that i hit her. but thanks for defending me against that rude person. I don't know why they were mean to me but I talked to a liar and that liar does not know the law even though he is a liar. The lawyer said that there is no slander or discrimination because they did nothing illegal as i did not have legal id when i wanted to buy the cigs. The lawyer also said that i cannot have Family Dollar charged with making me hit my disabled 68 year old mother even though it was their fault and I was mad at them.

Family Dollar racist abusive manager

Savannah, I just submitted the Following complaint on Family Dollar's website:

To Whom It May Concern:

A manager at the W. 130th Street location in Cleveland, Ohio wore a costume yesterday (10/31/18) that perpetuates racist stereotypes toward Native Americans. The costume was fake buckskin and a fake feather headdress. Again, the costume perpetuates racist stereotypes towards Native Americans and is mocking/desecrating a sacred object (feather headdress).

When my friend pointed out the harmful racism of the manager's costume, the manager threatened my friend with violence. Threatening to "beat" or "kick" her "[censored]."

This same manager then told my friend's sister to "get the [censored] out" when she complained to this manager about the manager's behavior and racist costume.

Is this how your managers are trained?

Are your managers trained to wear racist costumes on Halloween and threaten customers with violence?

When a customer expresses a complaint or concern to your managers are your managers trained to tell that customer to "get the [censored] out"?

Is this the message and image Family Dollar wants to project to the community and its customers?

Family Dollar's reputation is on the line here.

Why should I or anyone else shop at your stores if managers are going to treat customers like this?

Why should I or anyone else shop at Family Dollar if your managers/employees are going to threaten customers with violence and wear racist costumes?

Family Dollar service

I was visiting glendale az on November 1st and our group decided to pick up some snacks. We stop at one family dollar located at 3250 w. Indian School rd Phoenix az 85017 and it was closed !. Closing time that is clearly printed on the front door is 10:00pm but this store was closed at 9:43. The employees acted like they didn't see me or other customers knocking on the door. Angry and a little upset, We left there and went to a different family dollar located at 3605 w Thomas rd. When we arrived to the second store it was 9:50 and the store was also closed early. One of the other customers asked why it was closed early and one employee yelled at him that her watch says 10:00 and walked away. I love shopping at Family Dollar and shop at there many times a week. I was so very disappointed and angry that the two stores were closed early and angry about how the workers were I will never go to those two locations again. I live in flagstaff az where there are three family dollar locations and have never had this happen or be treated like that before. These events pretty much put a damper on our night. Please inform these employees and locations about proper closing times and the right way to treat customers. Thank you

Family Dollar violating the privacy act law

I really am thinking about filling a lawsuit about the violation of the privacy act law by your managers at 2616 e alondra Blvd Compton CA not only once but twice or three times but your employees are showing surveillance cameras to customers when they ask them to.. by law if I am not mistaking you guys cannot do that. I spoke to them about that but they seem not really care.

Family Dollar a store

I went to store 10184 on 11-01-18 and they only had two baskets I had to carry my 9 month old baby and basket through the store I couldn't get everything I needed. This store is always a mess outside and nasty on the inside. Store manager is always rude I don't understand why and it's a inconvenient to shop holding a baby while shop. And they music was loud.

Family Dollar service complaints

Good afternoon. I entered this store on 11/1/2018 around 9:00 am. There were at least 3 employees at the front of the store and when I walked in I had to be the one to open my mouth and speak and then only one person barely spoke. If you call mumbling, speaking. The issue is I enjoy going into your stores but not greeting a potential customer is just ridiculous. Also why is it at some stores they greet you and others they do not. I could also answer that as well. It is the area. But it should not be. Everyone should be trained the same. But I guess if you train them the same way it is up to them to use it correctly. But I know I am rambling, but it should not be this way. Your employees well those at that store need to be definitely checked on.

Family Dollar I lost my wallet

Whom It May Concern, I Emma king lost my wallet on the 10/16/18 IN FAMILY Dollar Store on 79th and Yates I got to the counter to pay for my merchants I decide to use my debt card I thought I put my wallet back in my purse I don't know if I drop it or put it on the counter when I left went to another store i realize I didn't have my wallet so I return to the family Dollar Store there four worker stand beside the counter i ask did they find a wallet the Manger says yes I says Thank u Jesus the Manger says there was no IDI say I know only business cards and cash was in it she say that what they got the cash I'm writing u because I would like to know if the cashiers got my wallet I'm very hurt cause I love me some family Dollar and very disappointed in them I'm a regular customer and I'm concern. And the look on they face when I return in there gave me an idea that they got my money so if anyway u can check ure camera thank you in advance
