This is a corporation, they don't have time for you here. I went in, paying cash (their favorite kind of client) and not only was I not seen by a dermatologist, they didn't tell me that the person looking at my skin, Ms.Debroah Hrobak was NOT a dermatologist. I assumed that she was.

She did a biopsy and didn't give me any wound care instructions - which may leave me with a 1/4 inch mark on my face. Another friend had something removed on her jaw by Debroah Hrobak and they didn't get wound care instructions either. NOT OK. Then to show you how disorganized they are, I paid in full...and two weeks later I get a bill for the same amount I'd already paid. after I was told that my bill included all lab fees. When I tried to get in contact with them, they take days to call or email me back, or don't call me back at all. However when I finally got the office manager on the phone, he agreed that I should have received some sort of instructions about my open sore and he was "surprised" that I hadn't. He was also "surprised" about the billing error. Of course there is nothing I can do, I need to pay another $180.

Lastly, when I call they will only talk to me IF I give them my DOB. I work in a very small environment and I don't want all my coworkers to know my DOB. Age is not a good thing in my industry. The fact you can't just give last 4 of social or something...it poor business practise, esp. for a dermatology office.

IF YOU HAVE HAD BAD CARE HERE SEND A NOTE TO Dr. PAULA NELSON. She owns the entire franchise and is based here in Reading, PA. TELL HER TO GET HER PRACTISE IN ORDER.

I wish I had seen all of these reviews before I started going to this practice. My original dermatologist left the practice and now I know why. I am suddenly getting bills from 2010 because they never submitted these bills to my secondary insurance and I never knew it. Now they want payment and have already sent my bills to a collection agency. Try calling their billing department in Georgia to get things straightened out, and you will get put on eternal hold. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau in the hopes that other people do not go through this hell. Nothing has changed since all of these comments were posted a year ago. Stay away!

I went back to my doctor this week. They have split with Paula Nelson MD/Family Dermatology. They've reorganized and are a new practice. The surgeon though that was with Family Dermatology intervened on my behalf about billing. He told me I owed no more money. I was told he resigned from Family Dermatology I guess because of their reputation. I talked to a staff member and they mentioned questionable billing practices and possible fraud. So glad it all worked out and I got to keep my doctor! (I still haven't seen the channel 46 report. They said it was on youtube.)

There are many people in the Warrington area of Pennsylvania having problems as well. The office here has closed and the doctors all went their separate ways. My bill was placed in a collection agency. Thankfully, my insurance company has helped me out. They are sending documentation to all doctors and Family Dermatology in GA that I owe nothing. I am sending complaints and documentation to the Insurance Commissioner, BBB, and State Board of Medicine. I am also considering contacting ABC. The video of the newscast on CBS (channel 46) out of GA was eye opening. The collection agency withdrew my account because they have terminated their relations with Family Dermatology. That says something right there!

I'm having a problem with them in Austell & Douglasville GA. Today their phone message said someone would call me back in 3 to 5 days because of the call volume.
