Factory Outlet Store stay away from this vendor, they are very misleading and unprofessional

Like other reviews their customer service is terrible to non-existent. Ordered a 4.3 GPS and clicked on accessories which brought up 6 or 8 other items. Ordered a dash mount and carrying case, assuming they were for this item, but both were for smaller units and unusable. When called and told them of their mistake the only recourse was to send it back and reorder, but no one knew what I was to reorder. Not only did they want me to pay shipping to return but a 15% restocking fee that was not even mentioned on their site say 30 days to return. Stay away from this vendor, they are very misleading and unprofessional.

This store is very misleading. Items are refurbished for a small discount. Pay the price get a new item without any hassles. Do not believe their 30 day guarantee scam. When you are agreeing to their terms and conditions your are agreeing to a 30 day restocking fee.

Factory Outlet Store false advertisement & fraud

I have purchase Panasonic rechargeable Batteries; The Batteries shown on the Web Site showed the Panasonic Logo; I have received Batteries that are generic with no Manufacturer Label! I called the Customer Service Department and they agreed to return the Merchandise; the received Email/Form, however, indicated a policy of 15% Processing fee and shipping Cost deduction; I called the Customer Service Department again to protested their Policy; the response was to transfer me to another Line; It was an Answering Machine stating "to call another time!." The referring CS representative stated that I have reached the Sales Department and they do not handle CS returns; this is the same Department which handled my first Complaint!.

I have decided to write a review on the Web site; of course, my review was not published; I have read one review that stated the following,

Providing the impression that a Consumer is getting a Brand Name while showing the Panasonic Logo and getting a generic merchandise is fraud.

I ordered a power cable for a hummingbird lcr 4000 fish finder. You sent me the wrong part. I called and was told that you didn't have the right part and to send it back for a refund. I did and paid $9.85 shipping. You then refunded me $31.10 less than I paid for the wrong part. Why am I penalized for your mistake?

I understand your problem, and you are correct. ANY unknown mail order place selling small items is suspect as to what you will receive. However, as far as the batteries themselves: I have owned six Panasonic cordless phones, and I can tell you, that their branded batteries (whoever makes them, wherever they are made), are no better than other brands: General Electric, Energizer, Duracell batteries. I've had genuine Panasonic batteries go bad in less than a year, and NO SERVICE GIVEN by Panasonic at all, just hogwash from their customer service setup in India. Go on Ebay, and buy the same batteries from the brands listed above for a fraction of the price.

AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

This company advertises items as being new and then sends you refurbished goods. AND, when you call to find out what is going on, you will get hung up on time after time.

I ordered their Garmin Edge 500 Bundle, which was advertised as brand new. The Heart Rate Strap and the Speed/Cadence Sensor where in fact new, but the actual Edge 500 - the most expensive part of the package - was sent in a box that clearly stated "refurbished" on the box. I called them on 5 different occasions. While the calls do eventually get answered, as soon as they find out your issue, they say "please hold for a minute", they put you on hold, and in a few seconds you get disconnected.
Based on my experience as well as reading some of the other complaints on this site I strongly suggest that everyone should avoid doing business with this company.

Factory Outlet Store misleading site name

Reasoning; well my reasoning' tells me a factory outlet store of "Norelco" (norelco.factoryoutletstore.com) will sell their replacement blades as cheap as anywhere it is sold. This a just a web store that sells this item at a much higher cost than Amazon or Walgreen s. They will offer a cheap rebate and after you buy a window opens and audio "claim your (bigger rebate) now". Call the 800 number and the operator will tell you no you are not signing up to some buying service, I find she is saying "no not at that second", the yes or no from you comes at the end of the call. So rude to say "no" even with a thanks but I said "no thanks" as I realized with my money and time I was just bent over taking it. I wasn't in the mood for seconds. "Thankyou, good night dear, kiss" roll over and sleep.

I purchased Plantronics Voyager Pro HD and I received the product open and a damage foam ear bud cover inside. I return the product and purchased the same product from Best Buy.FactoryOutletStore.com charged me the stocking fee and the cost of the original shipping. I will never purchase any products from FactoryOutletStore.com. They wanted to send me a replacement and I figured they should got it correct the first time..

Factory Outlet Store this is the most horrible internet transaction experience i've ever had

I ordered the Garmin FR60-Bundle-Women. It should have the watch
- with Wireless Heart Rate Monitor
- with USB ANT™ Stick
- with Wireless Foot Pod
The shipment came with the watch and heart rate monitor only, missing the USB ANT stil and the Wireless Foot Pod.
When I called customer service I was given two options: (1) I send them back the what I received and when they get it they will send me the right one; or (2) I place and pay for another order which they promise to send right away and they promise to send me a refund for my original order once they receive it back from me. In either case, I have to pay for shipping the original item back to them. When I told the customer service representative how it does not make sense for me to pay for shipping back the item when it is them who made the mistake, I was told that only a supervisor can make an exception. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told that supervisors are only available at specific times of day, and I have to call when they are available. This is the most horrible internet transaction experience I've ever had -- and I buy a lot of things online.

Factory Outlet Store wrong item sent, pay shipping back out of my pocket

i recently order a phone system from this company, but they send me the wrong item, i call them various times and they said "ship the item back and ill get your money", i did that but they due not refund the shipping chargers, it was like $15.00, i talk to many of the" supervisors" in charge, but they didn't refund the shipping chargers, i used pay pal for this order, so i make a complaint with pay pal, they tell me to drop the complaint and they will refund me the original cost, NOT THE SHIPPING CHARGERS, i call pay pal and tell tell me not to drop it, but still, I GOT STICK WITH FOR THEIR MISTAKE! ALTHOUG THEY SAID THEY HAVE EXPLAIN IT ON THEIR WEBSITE, I CAN NOT FOUND WHERE SAYS, " CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS SHIPPED BACK TO US" I WILL NOT RECOMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE, THEY RIPP ME OFF WITH THE SHIPPING CHARGERS FOR THEIR MISTAKE

I have the exact thing happen. Ordered Telephone repeater. Sent wrong one, but thy want me to pay to ship back !. It's their MISTAKE !..Do not use this company for anything. My Mistake was trusting them. Never again !

Factory Outlet Store returns / exchanges

Ordered a Garmin Blue Chart Card for my GPS from Factory Outlet Stores. It turns out it is not compatible with my model GPS, and when I tried to return it the only response I get from their customer service reps. and their supervisor is that if you had opened the package it is not returnable. They later said it is now a matter to take up with the manufacturer "Garmin". I called Garmin and they said that they have received many other complaints from other customers about factory outlet stores, and that factory outlet store is just a retailer of their products and that it should be taken up with them if it was purchased from them. To add to this, right on their "Order Confirmation" it states" You must keep all original packaging to return or exchange any merchandise within 30 days". I have all this and I received this package on 2/17/12 well within my 30 days. Factory outlets response still is you opened it you own it, it is not returnable!

Factory Outlet Store never delivered item, will not refund

Do NOT Purchase anything from this company. They will rip you off and promise refunds (that never arrive) until you finally go away.

I have been dealing with this vendor since Sept 30, 2011 when I placed the order. My order never arrived. Below is a timeline of what happened:

10/7 - called to inquire about the order and to tell them that it had not arrived. Was asked to call back 10 days after its shipping due date.

Called back on 10/14 and talked to "Ken" who told me if the package had not arrived by 10/20 to call back and they would re-ship my order.

Called back on 10/20 to tell company that shipment had not arrived and I requested either a refund or a re-shipment. Was told at that time that I would receive a phone call by Monday the 24th of October with a tracking number. No call was ever received.

On 10/26 I called and was told that now a tracing team was looking into the matter and that I would need to wait until 10/28 at which time I would either have confirmation of the new shipment of my order or a credit to my account.

On 10/31 I called and was told by Beth that I would be receiving a credit to my account by "the end of the week - but since it was Paypal it might take a little longer - a couple of weeks maybe" (Note the timing - if on 10/31, I wait a couple more weeks I will be beyond the time requirement for disputing the charge with Paypal)

On November the 15th, I called because the credit had not appeared in Paypal. Beth said that the warehouse had not processed the order for the refund yet but that she had sent three emails regarding the case. She asked me to not dispute the claim because they were "working on it." In good faith, I agreed - still (naively, it appears) believing that the company was also working in good faith.

On Dec the 9th, I called Beth again and she assured me that my refund was "in the queue" and that it would be processed in December. She couldn't give me a date and blamed their accounting practices (refunds processed only once a month) on the delay.

On 2/9/2012, I called again and spoke with Kia who is (supposedly) Beth's supervisor. Kia told me the best course of action would be to file a dispute with Paypal. Since I had never filed a dispute before, I stupidly agreed to do so only to find out that there was a 45 day limit. I believe that Kia, in her position as a supervisor of supervisors (general cost service --> Beth --> Kia), knew that there was a 45 day limit and was simply continuing what has now become apparent -factoryoutletstore.com is a scam and customer service nightmare for its customers.

I called factoryoutletstore.com again on 2/9/2012 when I became aware the Paypal had a 45 day limit; I was told by Beth (who refused to let me talk to Kia) that "I would need to take it up with paypal."

Factoryoutletstore.com deliberately strung me along in the hopes that I would go away and/or miss the deadline for filing a dispute. Their business practices are shady at best and perhaps criminal.

This site came up today as I was about to email them and ask where my batteries are but found numerous complaints against this company...Looks like I will not be getting my batteries after reading everyone's issues... Factory Outlet Store scam! restocking fee

My wife ordered a panasonic electric toothbrush online with FactoryOutletStore.com, and we thought we saved a good deal of money when they advertised the brand new product with free shipping.

I thought this was too good to be true. I went and searched for reviews and was plainly shocked at how a lot of people (over a hundred complaints) that the company ships the wrong product and then forces the customer to pay a restocking fee if the item was returned.

I decided to refuse delivery and asked UPS to return the unopened box back to the merchant. I was expecting a full refund, but after the credit card statement came in, THERE IT WAS! A 15% STOCKING FEE WAS DEDUCTED FROM THE TOTAL PRICE OF THE PRODUCT!

I filed a dispute with the credit card company and I am expecting to get my full refund!

Factory Outlet Store rip off artists

I placed an online order for a battery for my cordless phone from FactoryOutletStore.com on August 3, 2011 because they offered free shipping.

Big Mistake!

I waited for 20 days before I emailed them as to where my order was. I sent two emails and they never answered either one. By then I was furious because I was being ignored. They had no problem taking the money out of my bank account the same day I placed my order but could not even acknowledge an email.

I then called the phone number listed on their website (www.FactoryOutletStore.com). When I called I was told to wait as the operator was taking care of a previous customer and I waited until I was disconnected.

I called again and the same thing happened. This happened repeatedly until I just gave up. They all sounded like foreigners and I am led to believe this is not an American based company. Although it says owned by Online Phone Store Inc. out of New York but that took some digging. I am out $21.95. This has caused some inconvenience for me as I am disabled and home bound without a usable phone for a month because of some ripoff artists.

Factory Outlet Store product misrepresented

I ordered a Plantronics SR1 Stereo PC Headset with USB Connection. When I opened the package, there was no USB Connection. I contacted Factory Outlet Store - Brooklyn, NY and after being placed on hold for at least 20 minutes, was told to return the product but was told they do not provide return labels. I reminded them it was their error; they misrepresented the product. I even offered to hand deliver the headset to prevent paying shipping charges and was told I am not allowed on the premises. I had no choice but to return the item at my expense for an error they made. I did receive a refund for the pruchase but not the return shipping charges. Buyer beware! This is not a good company to do business with.

Factory Outlet Store avoid this seller at all costs

I purchased the Plantronics Backseat 903 Plus from this vendor. It was advertised as "Brand New". I received a used, scratched headset that wouldn't even charge. I had to send it back at my expense via UPS. When I called for a refund they deducted 15% for restocking fee. I paid $45.00 + another $10.00 to return it. Customer service was terrible Now I filed a dispute with AMEX to get my money back. Avoid this seller at all costs.

First of all, I had really thought that they part of Garmin, the manufacturer of the GPS's and other similar devices. Instead they sell refurbished GPS's with very deceptive presentations. I bought a GPS from them online, which I thought had Lifetime Maps and Lifetime Traffic for both North America and Europe. Well there was a tiny * by the maps line that pointed to some small print at the very bottom of the page that said "North America Only". I did not see this * when I ordered the GPS. When I tried to download the European maps, I then found out that I had Lifetime North American maps only. So I then called Garmin directly and I then found out that they were not part of the Garmin company. When I called the Factory Outlet Store (which took about 30 minutes for them to answer, I was then being switched several times to other people and then being put on hold for a while each time), they said I would have to either return the item to them (resulting in a 15% restocking fee) or exchange for another product. Considering the exchange, I had questions about other products so I tried to call back. Sadly they have a bad habit of answering and then putting you on hold for a long time and often hanging up (they are just bad news all around). I am going to try an exchange the GPS I bought but as they are such a shady company, I am very apprehensive but I am hoping for the best. I would advised EVERYONE to STAY AWAY from them in the future.

this company did a quick bate and switch and then as soon as I discovered the fraud called them and they shipped it out anyway!

Factory Outlet Store complete ripoff..!! buyers beware..!!

DO NOT.. I repeat.. DO NOT buy from them.. these guys run a scam.. they operate under many different business names like OnlinePhoneStore / http://101phones.com / GoGoTech and many many more..

I bought an item from them which came in broke and when I spoke with them they said I can return it to them for full refund and will reimburse shipping cost for return.. but once they received it their attitude changed.. charged me 15% restocking fee and did not even pay for shipping..

the item i had bought cost $200.. so they charged me $30 for restocking and it cost me $15 to return.. so overall I lost $45..

when I called my credit card to cancel the charges, they couldn't do it either because they have a fine print on their website saying that they will charge 15% for restocking no matter what condition..

I told them I returned because item came in damaged.. so how is that my fault.. they replied, its not their fault that its damaged..!

google them for reviews.. type in pricebreak reviews and you will find mostly negative reviews..!

do your research and make sure you find out all the names under which they do business..

what a ripoff..!

I ordered a new Garmin Nuvi 3790LMT GPS.
I paid $55 for 2-day shipping - no complaint on time.
They sent me a Refurbished unit, which I did not want or order.
My invoice does not show a Refurbished unit.
I did not ask for my shipping charge back, but I refused to pay for shipping it back.
The supervisor of Customer Support said it was against their policy to pay for return shipping. They said that there was a - R next to the product, which their policy says is Refurbished. My invoice did not have a - R, only the packing slip!
I have challenged the entire payment, including the shipping charge on my credit card.
In 10 years of purchasing online, I have never run into this kind of business practice before. In my opinion it is fraud and therefore I will fight, in court if necessary, to protect myself and others from this reseller.

Factory Outlet Store defective merchandise

Should have checked for complaints in advance. Bought a Plantronics voyager pro bluetooth headset advertised as new, not in original packaging. Worked one day then battery died. Will not hold a charge. Advised by Plantronics that factoryoutletstore.com is not an authorized seller, which is fine. However, also indicated specifically that they have received other complaints about Plantronics items sold by this website. Avoid was their recommendation. FOS.com did immediately send return authorization form to my email address. Returning for refund. Will update if refund is not posted in 3 to 5 business days as promised.

Factory Outlet Store poor service

We ordered an item from factoryoutletstore.com, and when it arrived, it was the wrong item in the box. The receipt was correct, the charge to our card was correct, but the item sent was not. We called the Cust Service number listed (Guaranteed to assist) and were told that they would be happy to exchange it, but we had to pay shipping to get it back to them! This was a large item - not cheap shipping. Any reputable company has procedures in place to deal with company mistakes. You do not make your customer pay for a company mistake! I would be happy to send it back at my expense if it were my choice to send it back. I expect pre-paid labels, COD or some other return method when the company sends me the wrong item! We ordered another item from the same co. - it was fine. Everything else (shipping time, etc.) was fine. However, I will never shop again someplace where it costs ME money when they screw up. And I will share this experience with anyone I can!

I ordered batteries for my cordless phone. They were the wrong size, and I'd like to return them, maybe exchange them for the right size. I called the toll free number, and was hung up on when I said I couldn't find the model number. There was NO HELP. I emailed their processing@factoryoutletstore.com two days ago and haven't heard back yet. I just want to send these batteries back and get crediit on my VISA card.

I didn't expect to receive a brand new product in a small zip lock cover and without all the components which comes with the default packaging.

So, I called the customer care at [protected] and the agent - Melissa did not know why this was received in a ziplock, so she sent me a return label which says 15% restocking fee + return shipping to be paid by the customer. I explained her that it isn't my fault and i did not receive the complete product.

She then transfered the line to Christine, She was so arrogant and she said this is how it is and its our company policy and she also added that "it is the same even if you yell at me for hours". I was talking to her politely, using the word "madam" every now and then..!

I requested her to send me the ear tip which comes with this product and asked her to explain why did she say that I yell at her..She simply hung up the phone on me.

I called again and asked for supervisor to explain about it. Hannah received the call and she transfered the line to a Manager - KIA. The manager said simply this is how they operate and I have to pay for shipping of any missing /defective product which comes in a zip lock..! She can do nothing about it.

I do not know whom / where to complain as this company did not send me the product properly in a manufacturer box and also did not send me complete product which i paid for...

Now I am stuck...Cannot return this product which costs half of the product's cost including the restocking fee and No exchange without shipping charges...Customer care is very irresponsible...

Please help me resolve this issue...

If you paid with a credit card, contact the credit card company and dispute the charge. Tell them that the item you paid for was not sent to you. You received an item missing parts and in a zip lock bag. Tell them you tried to talk to customer support but the company will not give you the correct item.

Factory Outlet Store terrible service/wrong item

I never come online to complain, but I have to for this company. They sent me the wrong item, made me cover shipping back to them, and I printed out a picture of the correct exact item I did in fact order. They said they dont carry it anymore and dont know why theres a picture still on their website. They made me cover shipping and "KRISTIN" who is a supervisor, I believe the only one you will ever talk to, is a horribly rude person. Interrupts me and tells me to stop asking if I can get a refund for my shipping for THEIR mistake! Terrible company, please avoid them, it will be unpleasant, guaranteed.

Factory Outlet Store this company deceives and lies to the customers

This company deceives and lies to the customers. Please take notice of other complaints and DO NOT do business with this company. I bought a refurbished Garmin GPS with Bluetooth. The bluetooth did not work correctly so I returned it with all the paper work stating refund for defective item. Two weeks later a guy called and said he didn't receive any paperwork and wanted to know what to do about the unit. I called right back and explained that I wanted a refund and a refund for extended warrantee. Two weeks later I received another unit. Surprise it was defective as well. It had lines running through the screen. Not only did I not want another GPS but was sent yet another defective unit. I called and they said I asked for a replacement. Complete lies...

I bought another GPS unit online supposedly new from another store -factory depot and it too is defective. Customer service is horrible and the time on the phone and exchanging the items is not even close to being worth money saved..

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!
I ordered a refurbished conference phone and a extended warranty. The first phone I received do not work from the moment I received it. I called and received a replacement, it worked for about 30 days. After waiting for 12 minutes on hold, I talked with a Brian about returning it for credit, he said that I couldn't because it was pass the 30 days of the purchase, regardless of the fact that this was the second defective phone I had received. When I asked about the extended warranty he tried to give me phone number, but his phone he was on keep cutting out (I guess he was using one of the phone they sale!) he ended up hanging up on me!

I Order an AT&T phone, when I received it it had bad reception, I had to pay return shipping and then received a replacement ~1 week later. The replacement had a bad power supply transformer, I ask them to send a replacement transformer and was told this was not possible, I would again have to return it at my own expense and they would send a replacement. When asking for a supervise to try to get the return shipping covered, the agent hung up ans sent me an e-mail with the RMA form.

Stay away from this company, they carry Bad and Defective products and have useless customer service.

This outfit sucks. I ordered a shaver that had a 30 satisfaction guarantee from Panasonic which said to return to the place of purchase for a FULL REFUND if I didn’t want for any reason. They refused to honor the guarantee and wanted to charge a return fee of 15% PLUS the cost of shipping it to me in the first place. This is certainly not a full refund. Their customer service basically told me too bad, if I didn’t like it I could call Panasonic since it was their guarantee. I would never buy anything from them again.

I ordered a Plantronics Calisto 830-M Speaker Phone. The web site stated that it included the PA-50 wireless mic and the pictures showed it as well. When it arrived the mic was not included. I called Factoryoutletstore.com and talked to Cristen after almost an hour on hold and waiting for her to do research she said she would call me back later in the day. I never received the return call. I called them back the next day and tried to talk to Cristen again but after 3 failed transfers I spoke to the next operator who would not give me her name. She told me that the mic was not part of the unit I purchased (they have now changed the web page). Their remedy was to give me $5.00 off of the purchase of the $65.00 accessory. I then said that I would just return the device. At that point I was told that I would have to pay shipping and that a 15% restocking fee would be deducted from the refund. That plus shipping would cost me over $30.00.

It was my mistake that did not check for complaints before ordering. Do not buy from this company. They clearly don not care about their customers.

I ordered a Tom tom GPS system which didn't come with the items that were included in the description, and didn't come. Also the cd that came with it won't download Tom tom won't load so I can't get map updates. I feel as if I've been extremely rip off. When I try to call about the matter I'm put on hold at the onset even though I tell them I don't want to be. It reminds me of the commercial. Hello this is Peggy, how can I help you. Hold on a minute ect.ect.. I just don't have the money to throw away.

Factory Outlet Store lost? order

I ordered a battery for a Sony wireless phone. I received confirmation that the order was sent but I never received the order. There was no tracking number to track the shipment. I contacted Factory Outlet Stores via email and didn't receive a response. I contacted them using their toll free number and was put on hold. After 15 to 20 minutes I explained my problem to an operator; she told to hold for a supervisor. I was put on hold again for another extended period before a supervisor talked to me. The supervisor assured me that a replacement battery would be sent that same day. I asked for a email to confirm the shipping and was assured that I would receive an email that same day. I have not received my battery nor an email that confirmed the battery was shipped. Factory Outlet Stores customer service does not encourage me to order from them again.
