Eyepothesis I had no idea this was a scam

I got an email about testing products, then reporting back to them, then getting to keep the item. I never gave them my debit card number. I sent them an email to ask how the got my card number and who gave them permission to use it. I didn't. I did not hear back from them. I called the phone number on my bank statement. I just got a recording. I couldn't talk to a person because it was a machine taking the call. I really need that money. I am on disability. I had no idea this was a scam.

They took 300 dollars before I realized they were deducting from my checking account. I did not receive the trial package as I had ordered. This is a big scam. My husband does our banking and he noticed a deduction 3 times for the same thing and ask me about it. How do I go about getting this rectified since all I get is an automated answering machine?

I have closed my account with them over 2 months ago...they keep sending the product & billing my charge card...every time I go to my acct. On the computer they say that the account has been closed...how do I get any recourse? If I send back the product, I'm afraid they won't credit my charge card? Seems like a no win situation!

Similar to everyone else's complaints about this company, they stole $78.41 from me when they refused to refund my money. What company in the world does not issue refunds when you return a product? Their website claims they have customer service reps who will assist you with anything! The only thing they kept repeating was "there is no manager available" and "we will not refund your money".

I returned the unused sample and cancelled my account then I found out that my credit card had already been charged $78.41 for the product. I called the company and was told that I wasn't eligible for a refund. I argued with them asking why they took the money out of my account after I had cancelled, they gave me no answer, got very rude and hung up on me. Companies like this need to be put out of buisness. They are nothing but SCAMMERS !

Company charged my credit card $78.41 even after a request to cancel the order had been verbalized. Upon attempting to deal with the situation a representative from the company (whom I think is the only person in the office) was very rude and threatened to hang up on me.

Eyepothesis scam and misleading information

I was offered this product through a third party. Before placing the order I called to check and I was
told that there are no issues with returns etc. I ordered on the 13th and received the product on 19th.
of June, 2012. I used it once but had a swelling and rash. I decided to visit dermatologist and was told
to immediately discontinue the product. I decided to discontinue the future order and let them know
about the product reaction. I was already charged $78.41 plus the initial $4.00 and shipping handling.
They totally refused to take the product .They will not bother or listen except telling you that they are very
sorry for the situation. Money has been charged and can not be refunded. It is a biggest scam..you don't
even want to get sucked in the trial or any related offers because you will be charged and weather this
products works for you or not that is none o f their concerns. The customer service sucks and very scummy.

Eyepothesis Charged my card $81.69

I ordered a free trial of eyepothesis on 1/4/12 and it was shipped on 1/6/12. I received it on 1/16/12. On 1/18/12 they charged my credit card $81.69. Today when I called they told me my "trial" period was up. They did not care how long it took me to receive their product.
They offered me a $45.00 refund.
Would you please try to get the balance of $36.69 put back on my credit card.
If you ordered 3 things you were supposed to receive a $250.00 Walmart Gift Card, which I have never received.

Eyepothesis Eye cream

Ordered a trial size product for $1. Then cancelled within 30 minutes of ordering with automated customer service. Called customer service 30 inutes after they opened and they said I couldn't cancel because the product had already shipped out, but the product did not arrive until 7 days later. One person said I would be charged 19.41 another 78.41. This is a typical bait and switch scheme. They get your credit card numbr and then make all these claims.

Eyepothesis charge 78.41 for a trial size

I ansawere an internet ad for a free sample of eyepothesis and pay a 1.00 shipping. I paid the 1.00 and someone called me back right away and was trying to sell othe stuff and was trying to get more money. I told them to just cancel the whoe mess and not charge me with anything. Well a few days later (jan. 20th) my debit card was charged 78.41. I have not recieved any product, and was told that i did not call with in the time limit. How can you try a product with ever recieving it? There was supposed to be an 8 day trial period. I ordered and canceled on Jan. 12th. supposedly, it was shipped on the 13th of Jan. UPS has no record of the number they gave me for tracking. I am still trying to get my refund. If there was only an 8 day period i do believe that from Jan. 12--to jan 20th is with in that time slot.
I am extremely made as I did not authorize a 78.41 charge.

Eyepothesis free trial, charged for product

opted for a free trial for only $1 to cover shipping and handling

checked the web and saw people were being charged the full product price for these free trials

called their 800 number and got a cancellation option, saying to return the product within 15 days so my credit card will not be charged, or buy at a lower price

nothing like the $1 trial they offered

i don't know if this is a good product or not but this is not the way to force people to buy

Eyepothesis Refund denied

I ordered an eye cream product, but had changed my mind. When I received the package a week ago, I marked it as "Return to Sender" without opening the package. When I checked my bank account today to see if my account had been credited. Since it wasn't I called to see if they would fix it. I was told that I was not eligible for a refund since I didn't follow the return policy located inside the package with the return label. I did not open the package because I knew I would have to pay postage at the post office. I always understood if services/goods were not received (in this case, it was refused) I should get a refund. I don't see why I should pay $78.41 for a vial of eye cream I've never even seen or touched. It was returned within the 10 days.

Eyepothesis ripped off

Beware of false tems advertising. I submitted an order to try this product for free...there were no terms on ad page, so my oversight I filled out the order form and then it quickly went to the terms page...which read you can return and not be charged before 8 days is up. I can't tell that this product even works and I am allergic to it. I called what I thought was 7 days (after receiving the product) and cancelled the order. Then the charges showed up on my card. This eye cream was cheap and I don't beleive it has the ingredients they are advertising. I was charged $78.00 for something that was similat to ponds.
I called and they said I was not entitled to a refund because I called back more than 8 days. I was then told it was 8 days from ordering, not from recieving like it should be in order to really try the product. This is a mass rip-off idea. I was put on hold to talk to a supervisor and finally hung up. I was unable to negotiate the terms.
Anyone out there want to do a class action lawsuit? The page you first come onto has no terms, and has credible businesses listed like Allure, New York Times and makes it look like they are endorsing eyepothesis...but if you read what is in print it just has references of empty statements that don't directly support this product. I plan on contacting every one of them...and I think others should too.

I agree that this company is conducting their business honestly. When I ordered it online, it says bills 2.95 for 7 days trial, but when I called on the same day I received the package, the automatic answering service says, there is no need to return, you will be billed $19.41 and never be billed again. This is not the original term and service agreement they posted.

Below is the terms and service agreement from eyepothesis which they are not honoring.

Trial Terms and Conditions:
1. You must be 18 years old or older to participate in this trial.
2. You must use your own credit card or debit card.
3. Start your trial now to receive a trial supply of Eyepothesis. You simply invest $2.87 today for shipping and
handling to evaluate this great skin product for yourself.
4. Your credit card will be charged the selected S&P charge above.
5. If Eyepothesis is not right for you, call [protected] within 8 days from your order date to cancel your trial
and you owe nothing more.
6. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
7. By participating in the trial, you are receiving a discount of 40% off of the normal retail price and you will be
responsible for taking affirmative action during the trial period to avoid further charges outlined in How the
Offer Works.
8. By clicking on the button to the right, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions in How the Offer Works.
9. You may call [protected] anytime to contact customer service regarding your shipment.

I wish they'd rip off an attorney who would take them on just for the principle of the thing. For $19.41, how much time are you going to waste on something like this...? I have reported them to the BBB in Boulder CO... Not that I expect anything to come of it. My only saving grace is that I used a "prepaid card" with $40 credit on it to order it, so when they TRIED to charge me the $78.41 three days later THREE DAYS ! it was disallowed... I guess I should consider myself lucky. I agree the product is JUNK ! I have an expensive pretty jar to show for my $20 lesson.

Eyepothesis charging my account

The Eyepothesis company has a product with a "free trial" period of 10 days from the day they mail it. However, if it takes 4-5 days to get to you and you don't cancel the day you get the product, by the time you find someone to cancel, it's too late and they charge you $78.00. I called the number on the website and on the box and the person who answered the phone said it wasn't the right company but was able to give me the right number. I called and they told me to cancel on the website. So I did, got a confirmation that said I would not be charged and the next day, I got charged. Then when I called back they said I cancelled too late and then they hung up on me.

Eyepothesis Credit card charged for item that was never received

On 11/24, I saw an advertisement in a magazine for Eyepothesis, a product that is supposed to relieve dark circles, bags, etc. from underneath the eyes. The "Trial Size" was a cost of $2.87.

On 12/3, I had a charge on my credit card for $78.41 from eyepothesis! I never ordered anything else and never received anything.

On 12/12, I called the number that was on my credit statement for eyepothesis [protected]. When I called that number, I was told by Reggie (no last name) that I must call back in 1.5 hours to report the scam because they were in a different office and wouldn't be in until then. (I never used the word "scam" so I'm assuming he has received other calls on this.

I called back on 12/12, (over 1.5 hours later) the same number [protected] and was given another number to call, [protected]. I spoke to Devin who informed me that when you order the trial size of the product you are automatically enrolled in the automatic ordering, every month. This is outrageous because if there was a notice that by ordering the trial size you are automatically signed up then I did not see it! AND, I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING!

Now, about the $78.41 charge on my credit card, I never ordered this, I never received the product and I am appalled at the blatent/dishonest way they rip people off.

Devin explained to me that if I sent the product back that the $78.41 would be credited. She gave me the tracking number of my "trial" product and told me to track it down for a full refund OR she could credit my account for $45 within 24 hours. Because of my distrust now, I opted for the $45 credit within 24 hours because I did not believe I would ever see a full refund. If they do credit my account the $45, which I do not have high hopes for, I am still out $2.87 plus $33.41 (the remainder of the charge on my card after the $45 credit (providing it comes off) for a total of 36.28.

Please feel free to call me to discuss if you need to.

I never ordered this product but was charged on my credit card. I didn't realize it until I was looking over information for taxes.
I went online to fill out a Wallmart $1000.00 free card and when I got to the end I was told I had to order a procduct. There was a
sample of eyepothesis for 2.87 I checked it but then canceled and changed my mind. I canceled the whole survey. While looking over
my records I found three more charges for this procduct plus they went ahead and ordered (and Sent) the $2.87 sample (which I have
never ordered) this was on June 7, 2010..$2.87 on June 15 I was charged 78.41, June 20 109.00 and July 16, 84.36 I never ordered
anything and never rec'd anything. I want my money back on my crediat card pronto

After agreeing to purchase the trial for $1.08, I noticed the fine prints stating afterwards that I needed to cancel within 7 days if I didn't want to get charged the actual price of $78.41. Then I looked somewhere else that stated I had to do it after 7 business days, so I knew they were a scam. The first thing I did was cancel my credit card right away, cause I knew I wasn't going to win with them scammers. They have been calling me everyday until I said they got the wrong number and then they stopped. I got the eyepothesis for $1.08 and am glad I read the fine prints.

My story is the same as most of those above. I honestly question if there are enough people hurt financially by this if there would be a possibility to bring about a lawsuit that not only helped recover part or all of the money obtained in this way or at the very least set a precedent to shut these unethical companies down, change a law(s) to stop the predatory practices on poor hardworking people. When I went to cash a check for groceries, I found I only had $2.07 left in checking after they ran the $78 thru my debit account. I had no money left for over 2 weeks until I received a check. It is time to stop these companies from preying on the less fortunate! I would help in whatever way I could. Any lawyers out there willing to look at?

I am reading complaint after complaint and everyone of them is the same thing that i am going through. I have been on phone for 2 days trying to get this settled. I thought that I was ordering a sample and then I changed my mine as soon as I ordered it. I spoke to someone on phone and told them that i did want any of the products and to cancel order and not charge me on card. They said ok. Well lol and behold i have been charge 78.41 and not a product to be seen either. They are telling me that there was only 1 week to test product and get it back for refund. How do you test and return a product with a week when you don't even have it. Also the tracking number they gave me is not a viable number per UPS. Waiting for a call back now. Calling BBB.

Eyepothesis scam

Company is a scam. This online ripoff company markets products Ivory White Bella Brite (same product), Eyepothesis, Ultimate facial, Bella Clear. All ship from the same warehouse at 6205 lookout road. If asked they will tell you "many companies ship from there' but only one company is in charge called convertis llc. Company is in such trouble with BBB and AG has had to stop shipping within Colorado. If you report them, not just threat to report them to BBB and Attorney General they will refund the money they took from you. Don't fall for free gas scam either...if you are offered gas rebate or partial refund they are still within timeframe that you can get full refund. Gas rebate is a monthly coupon that has to be sent in for 10$ at a time...Please report this company to the BBB and AG so that they cannot profit from their cheesy marketing scams.

I ordered a free trial of their product. There was a shipping charge of $2.87. The product came. The next week. There was not any correspondence with it and I didn't receive an email. Then I recieved my credit card bill. There was an additional charge for $78.41 ten days after the original charge. I had just received the original shipment when this charge was put through. Of course I didn't get my charge bill until the next month. I never received any more product just the first trial shipment. Now they charged me for $78.41 for that original shipment. When I called I was told that I was too late to cancel the charge. I was told that the terms were stated on the internet when I first ordered the product. I didn’t receive anything to confirm the terms. The time frame of this whole transaction is much too short. It is set up just to scam the consumer. This company does not have a legitimate product and is not conducting business to gain a customer base
I can not get any money back. What a scam.

I signed up for a free trial. I called within 6 days of my order date to cancel and they still charged my credit card $78, which they refuse to refund. This is a scam. They are only out to cheat you out of your money. Also it was very difficult to reach customer service. I finally got through on this line [protected] and then press zero to get an agent.

Eyepothesis advertised online to give a free product to the customer, and only shipping and handling was being charged. Also, the customer had the right to cancel within 7 days.

This is not true since Eyepothesis charged my credit card when I called to cancel, they had already charged $5 for shipping and handling. In addition, they say that I had to pay $39.99 for the cream since I was cancelling. I told the rep, I never got the cream. I tried to resolve the issue, but he was not cooperative, I asked for a manager and he told me he was busy. He kept saying "you cancelled today so we are going to charge you." I told him I did not authorize the charge and I don't even have the product, but he just hang up. Eyepothesis is a scam.

Idid the trial product for eyepothesis and according to them it states ind the terms and conditions that you have 7-8 days to cancell and get a refund but I did not even recieve my product till the 7-8 days were up and did not relize they took the 78.41 out of my account and when I called them on it they said i was out of the trail period time and they would not refund me my money but what i dont understand is how can you decide if you want the product if you dont recieve it till the trial period is over and then your screwed now this is a SCAM and its wrong they can continue to do this to people. I want to know how they can continue to do this so anyone thinking of taking a trial product from this company think twice they will screw you too.

I ordered this skin care product from a similar website for a 14 day free trail on 6/16/11. I didn't get billed for the S&H so I didn't think I was going to receive it until it showed up on 6/23/11. I went and canceled it with their easy cancel on 6/28/11 and went to look at my bank account for the S&H charges again but found instead a charge of $78.41. Plus the fact that when I tried to use the product from the bottle the pump on the bottle wouldn't work. I opened it and there is no tube connected to the pump and I am not able to get the product out of the bottle. Even by turning it upside down and shaking it does not produce enough to use because the opening is so small. I called the company's customer service and finally got a call back from a customer service supervisor and they would not consider a refund even because of the faulty pump. OR because the FREE 14 day trial was not up yet. They didn't even have an answer for that. They just repeat have you any other questions I can answer. AAAAAAAAAARrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggg! This company is a huge scam. I recommend anyone with a complaint to go to the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint and put them out of business. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

I went to the website was about to place my order, when I decided against it and closed the browser. For the next two days, I received hourly calls asking to submit my order. I told them I didn't want there product and to stop calling me. They sent the product a week later and charged by card. I called the company and asked why they shipped it and charged me. They said that I submitted it online and had no record of their sales people calling me. They said I had to ship it back before the deadline so I wouldn't get charged the 88 dollars. I sent it back priority and had a record of them receiving the product, but they still charged by card and refuse to refund my money. There staff and manager Renee have no customer services skills and are incredibly rude. Their staff can only repeat the script that is in front of them and not give answers to specific questions. On the many times I have called them I have gotten many answers when asking to speak to the manager. They have replied that there is either no manager or no manager available to talk to customers. It took the manager up to a week to return my call and when asking if there was anyone else I could talk to Renee said she was the only manager and owner of the company. I highly doubt that. This company cheats it customers and I am surprised they are still allowed to operate as a business.

I was charged for something I did not order ( shopclub ) and they did not want to give my money back then the next day USA Benefits did the same thing. There is nothing in the terms and agreements that says they will give out your banking info.I thought I had a 15 day free trial turns it is 8 days and starts on day of shipment. I did not get it until 8 days so there was not a free trial. The package was small and light like nothing was in it so I did not open it. It's not worth 80.00 and concidering every thing the product may not be any good.

If you receive Eyepothesis products or other health, beauty, or coffee products you have not ordered, you could be the victim of a scam. It appears that several of these companies and products, such as Eyepothesis anti-wrinkle eye patches, are sent without an order and charged to your bank accounts or credit cards. You may also be enrolled in "memberships" that will continue to draft money from your accounts monthly. Contact your banks, credit card companies and better business bureaus immediately.

In late August I was on the internet playing around, I was taking a survey trying to win supposedly some money; close to the end of it they have these things for you to pick from. If you don't order from at least 2 of them you don't win what your after. So I picked the eyepothesis for one of them, because I had never used the stuff before and it was cheap; so I THOUGHT! YEAH RIGHT! It was suppose to cost a few dollars for a TRIAL package. I didn't receive it until the week of the 5th of September. I didn't want t continue the service so I called and cancelled any further services by them. A week later I go online to check my bank statement and low and behold here they arre trying to take $78.41 out of my bank. I got the bank helper on the line and told them to stop the company from taking any monies out of my account, they said it would actually have to be taken out before they could do anything; so I wait; Tuesday the day after Labor Day I check my account and the company has actually taken the money. I get the bank back on the phone and they said I needed to go into my nearest branch and fill out all the appropriate paperwork and they would get my money back. They said that I should try to get a hold of the company and see if they would just put the money back so I did. Boy what a bunch of thieves they are. The man I talked to was rude and condescending, arrogant and snide. He actually laughed at me over the problem and told me I could NOT get my money back. I asked to talk to his super, he told me he was the super so I could just basically hang up the thought of ever getting my money back. Now I live on Social Security. I don't have the money to pay my bills let alone but trivial poop like they sell. On top of all of that THE STUFF DOSEN"T EVEN WORK! I even offered to send the stuff back because I hadn't even used the so called serum. He told me I could keep it. They had my money so they didn't the stuff back. What kind of business do we have running in this United States anyway; when rude people like that run businesses like that and prey on good people, then they steal the money the good people need to survive on. Can anyone help me? And we wonder why good folks go bad! He needs to be glad he wasn't standing in front of me talking like that I would have washed his mouth out with soap! You are a bad bad bad person. and; just remember this WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES AROUND. Plus karmas gonna git ya smart guy!
