On january 18th, 2010 my fiancee and I went in to the eyemart express in albuquerque, new mexico. My fiancee recieved an eye exam and proceeded to pick out the frames and place the order for them. We were then told that we had to pay for the glasses up front before we picked them up the next day. I was frustrated by this because there was no mention of the charge when we had called prior for pricing. I had to run to the bank to get some money to pay for the fee. Upon my return I was told by fiancee that there was also an additional charge for the lenses. Already irritated by the whole thing I told my fiancee "fine lets just get them and never come back here again" when we went to pay the retail manager markus at this location was our cashier. He was very rude when I expressed my frustration regarding the fact that there was no mention of a seperate charge for the lenses. I felt that it was ridiculous that they would charge seperate for them when the fact of the matter is that they should be included because you can't have glasses without lenses! Its just not plossible. So after expressing my irritation the retail manager markus proceeds to tell me "well what do you want us to do give you the lenses for free" I responded by saying "well you would think that when purchasing glasses that the lenses would be included seeing as how you can't see through glasses without them" I also told him "i'm not going to fight with you i'm just gonna pay for my fiancee's glasses and i'm never coming here again" the final response from him was "that's fine, I don't care". We walked out of there extremely heated! I feel that that was the worst service that I have ever received from any store in my life! I'm spending money there that I don't really have to spend but I do because my fiancee needs his glasses! We have to pick up his glasses tomorrow morning january 19th, 2010 at 11am mountain time. I feel that this situation needs rectification! My fiancee and I have been disrespected and they have lost our business for good. We will be telling our friends about the service we have recieved and they will not be going there either! Please address this situation and make rectification!

I ordered a single prescription lens at Eyemart and was promised them tuesday . I waited until Saturday to pick them up they did not phone me to notify me that the lens came in. they were not ready 6 days from the date that I ordered them. they were promised within two days. I was told they could not let me have the single prescription lens glasses until noon. I requested that they have them by 9:00 and they said no that they were in the production line the next day and they could not move them up. the lens and glasses cost me 130.00. So in order to fill my need I went to Walmart where the single lens glasses they had cost me half of that. i received them that day and the sales people were prompt. I am still waiting for my expensive Eyemart glasses.

Your demanding rectification, thats truly hilarious. Why would you think that you shouldnt pay for something to be made custom at a low price and why would you think lenes where free? Sounds like your the type of consumer that drives up prices for all the decent people out there that dont piss and moan over every stupid thing that crosses their face. Tell your loser fiancee to buy his own glasses, that is if he hasnt left you as of yet.

You should call Eyemart Express Home Office at [protected] and ask for Tracy Marr. If that doesn`t work then call Eyemart Express `s President at [protected] his cell phone #. One of these 2 people will take care of it.
