Express Information Systems Unable to cancel subscribtion

Seems like I am another victim to the scam of Express Information Systems. My complaint is similar to most of the complaints I have read. I was offered a copulation of a lot of magizines that I already subscibed to.
However EIS did not provide me with the one mag I was realy interested in and when confronted with this inf. they (EIS) said there was some kind of glitch and instead offered a list of mags that I had no interest in.

I then stated that I wanted to cancel, long story short, they refuses and continued to haras me with phone calls and billing.

I contacted BBB of Arizonia, but they were unable to rectify the situation. I then contacted the Atorney General's office of Arizona. I just recently got a responce from them. They suggested I obtain an atorney on my own and were unable to assist me.

I suggest that all that have been victim to this scam contact the BBB of Aizona and the AG's office of Arizona with their complaints. If they get enough complaints from us maybe they will take a closer look at EIS.

Express Information Systems Refuse to cancel

Express information systems is a RIPOFF! they dont let me cancel. and they keep on refusing in a bad language to me they keep calling me! every day and my mom keeps answering and telling them im not home so they tell my mom in a bad attitude stupid ###, and sometimes they yell at her to find me and pay. they called me and i answer and i told them i dont have a job and im not going to pay them but they refuse and tell me i have to pay in bad languege and that my late fees are going up every day to 100 bucks they are hurrassing me and my perents every day i just dont know wat to do n e more!

I WAS CONTACTED BY TELEPHONE IN OCTOBER 2009. THEY PROMISED ME 300.00 IN GAS AND 300.00 IN FOOD IF I AGREED TO PURCHASE 5 MAGAZINES FOR 33.00 PER MONTH. SOUNDED LIKE A GREAT DEAL, SINCE I AM DISABLED AND CANNOT WORK AND THE HOLIDAYS WERE COMING. . . THIS WOULD GIVE ME EXTRA MONEY FOR GROCERIES AND GAS. WELL, IT NEVER HAPPENED. I CALLED THEM SEVERAL TIMES TO ASK WHERE THE CARDS WERE TO GET MY FOOD AND GAS. FINIALLY I RECEIVED A LETTER TELLING ME WHAT I NEEDED TO DO. I HAD TO GO TO THIS WEB SITE AND REGISTER MY SECRET CODES TO RECEIVE THE GAS AND FOOD. WELL, IT DIDN'T HAPPEN. INSTEAD WHEN I CALLED THE COMPANY THEY ASKED ME TO FAX A COPY OF THE LETTER I RECEIVED. NEXT THING I KNOW, THE COMPANY THEY EMPLOYED TO PROVIDE THE CARDS FOR FOOD AND GAS WENT OUT OF BUSINESS. I MIGHT ADD THAT UP TO THIS POINT - NOW MARCH - I HAVE RECEIVED MAGAZINES I DID NOT ORDER AND FINALLY NOW I AM RECEIVING SOME OF THE MAGAZINES I ORIGINALLY
ORDERED. THE COMPANY SAID THEY SEND ALL KINDS OF MAGAZINES OUT TO SEE IF YOU MIGHT LIKE TO SUBCRIBE TO THEM ALSO. I WILL NOT PAY ANYMORE TO THIS COMPANY. I HAVE TOLD THEM UNTIL THEY CAN CORRECT THEIR PROMISE FOR GAS AND FOOD I WAS NOT GOING TO PAY ANYTHING. WELL I JUST RECEIVED ANOTHER PHONE CALL AND THEY STATED IT IS NOT THEIR PROBLEM THE COMPANY WENT OUT OF BUSINESS AND I STILL HAVE TO PAY. THEY HAVE NOW SENT ME A CERTIFICATE FOR A $1, 000.00 SHOPPING SPREE! ONE PROBLEM IS THE DEPARTMENTS HAVE ITEMS THAT ARE NOT ANYTHING THAT YOU WOULD THINK
WOULD BE IN THAT PARTICULAR DEPARTMENT. EXAMPLE: ELECTRONICS - DOUBLE A BATTERIES. NICE HEY! SOME DEPARTMENTS HAVE NOTHING LISTED. SORRY - I FEEL THIS IS A POOR CORRECTION. I PLAN ON SENDING ALL MAGAZINES BACK TO THEM. GUESS IT WILL NOW BE THEIR PROBLEM! OLD AND UNEMPLOYED

Express Information Systems Unsolicitated calls daily

Unsolicitated telemarketing calls DAILY from this company. I can never answer the call before it stops ringing, and the number is logged as a missed call [protected]). Attempts to call the number for the purpose of having the calls stopped result in an automated answer recording stating the company name. You are then asked to please hold and a representative will be with you shortly. A "representative" NEVER comes on the line. Whatever happened to REAL privacy?

Express Information Systems unauthorized charges

This company first called me (I have no idea how they got my phone number) and offered me cheap magazine subscriptions. It sounded pretty like a pretty good deal so i signed up for it. A few months later they called me again an offered different magazines than what i was receiving, which I agreed to. BUT, they never told me that I was opening ANOTHER subscription account with them so they began charging me around $90 twice a month for magazines I never agreed for, such as Latina, and Good Housekeeping (I'm a single white male, and I'm reasonably sure that when I speak on the phone I don't sound like a Latin woman.) Now they wont let me cancel my subscription because I didn't let them know within 3 days of signing up that I wanted to cancel, which is impossible to both receive and send out a response within 3 days.

I got a call from them while I was driving. It sounded like a good deal and I agreed to subscribing to two magazines. About fifteen minutes later, I was second-guessing myself and called them back. I told them that I had a chance to think about it more and that I did not want them. They got very rude and then stated that my account was cancelled. Little did I know that, not only was my account not cancelled, but they signed me up for six other magazines including EPSN, Latina, and Bassmaster. I am a single, white woman with an interest in Literature. I am not into sports or anything. They are claiming that I signed up for all of these magazines but I KNOW that I didn't. I am desperate and do not know what to do. They want $900 from me.

they've always been fair with me, some companies never send the magazines. If you ordered, read your agreement letter and follow the cancellation proceedures you'll be fine. The problem is you people don't read your paperwork, decide later that you've changed your mind and expect them to just adhere to your every wish...business doesn't work like that. You can't buy a car, drive it for 4 months and expect the dealer to take it back. You said yes to the subscription, buck up, grow up and pay your bill.

I agree with what everyone is saying because I used to work for the company so I know first hand they operate.I winded up leaving because yes the company is a fraud they offer you a sweet deal but you just dont know what youre getting yourself into because they actually sugar coat the truth which thats very unprofessional and thats not how you gain customers, Youre actually robbing your customers then they take from people that are simgle parents people that are on disability ssi college students and people who recieve unemployment.Im glad I walked away because they have a bad reputation.

i agree with you all, this company called my 16 year old son and sold him a magizine and now they are charging him $700.00. I called and talked to someone and I did get to listen to the recording. You could tell that he was not 18 over the phone. The sad thing about this is that it was a supervisor that did this to him. I will not stand for this. I am strong headed and will take this to the newspaper, tv or who ever else I have to take this too. I am not sure if this will help but here are all the numbers that I have for this company. [protected], [protected], [protected]. I WILL GET THIS RESOLVED so that no other child is taken advantage of.

I've been dealing with this company for three years they refuse to send me proof of debt or the "recorded" conversation they claim to have. Every time i try to ask them about my debt they get really rude & no answers. It's illegal to charge for something if there not gonna show you proof of that debt. They keep threatening to send me to collections but they can't because it's not a proven debt. I think the best thing to do is to contact the Attorney Generals office and file a complaint and have any attorney call to request proof of debt if they can't provide it they can't charge you and may have to reimburse you for faulty charges.

damit i have so many problems with this company to i just hope u guys can help me in how to resolve it. the same problem i got, they sais i subscribe for 2 accounts and their charging me 95 dollars each month! im not paying but the late fees are going up every day, [censored] i just dont know wat to do n e more.

I have also received this kind a problem with them without even agreeing to it and they are charging me 914.73 dollars for not paying for something that someone else has ordered under my name. This company is just robbing people and taking their money without their consent or trying to pressure them into paying their bills.

Express Information Systems Will not let me cancel

This company was so quick to talk me into getting me magazine subscriptions at a cheaper price than normal. However, they did not begin shipping me the magazines until 3 months later. After I asked them if I could cancel, they said that I would have had to mail in the cancelation notice and they would have had to receive it two days after I spoke with them on the phone. By postal rules, that is physically impossible to do so because mail takes longer to receive and send. On top of that, I never even received a cancelation notice by mail. I continuously called them but they refused to let me cancel. These people are thieves and should be stopped immediately.

Why is there no class action suit against these people? They got my husband too. We all need to check into what we can do about a class action suit! These people are nasty!

THey sent paperwork in the mail but there is no cancellation form. What can we do to get these people from preying on unsuspecting people. They should not be allowed to be in business. After all is said and done and you start looking up the rating and see that the BBB has not accredited the company. I know we should be on the look out and not order on the phone, but sometimes it is hard for some people to say no. This did not happen to me, but to my son. What do we do to get these companies out of business? I'm ready to call our local television station and sic Action 9 on these hooligans. If enough people stand up and fight this CRAP and call their lawyers and their local TV stations maybe we can get these people out of business.

dam dude i did the same thing that u did and they told me i cant cancel either they are charging me 90 dollars every month. but i cancel my bank account and so they call me every day saying they want there money i tell them im not goin to pay them ### n e more so they call my house and hurassment my perents. dam! theirs lots of bad thing going on on this company they need to be stopped immediatly

E.I.S. were at first nice, but then they started being really high pressure. then told me if i give them my credit card info they would'nt take the money out until i received a form in the mail . 1 hour later they took $70.00 out of my account.
