Express Clothing manager customer service

Went to take back a romper I bought my daughter as a surprise for 16th birthday party. I was told I couldn't return it because it did not have a dress tag on it. I walked over to the rack and showed the store manager stephanie at south hills mall that the other ones did not have a dress tag on it either. She goes and explains to me that if she was the one who had sold it to me than she would have made sure it had it on there. She was not the one who sold it to me but instead she's the manager. She did not train her employees to do their job. Now I am having to deal with customer service that is suppose to be open and imagine to my surprise they aren't. So now I get to deal with a run around of bad customer service from a company that doesn't care. Buyer beware! Don't buy a gift for anyone there because unless you walk out knowing đź’Ż you love it you are screwed.

Express Clothing Online shopping

I have returned an order in the amount of $334.81 (Expr34879777str) using the return label provided by them. It's been 2 months since ups has delivered the order and i still haven't gotten a refund. I haven't even gotten an acknowledgement that the order has been received even though the tracking number clearly shows that it was. Every time i contact them i get a different person and i have to start my complaint all over again. I have since been in contact with 7 different people and all i get is a reiteration of their return policy as if i'm an ###### and i can't read it myself.
So buyer beware, if you venture out and try shopping online from this company, the return process is lengthy, tedious and there is no guarantee that you will get reimbursed. This is way too much hassle to go through when shopping for clothing.

Express Clothing billing

My daughter and I were shopping at an Express store . We had 2 coupons-one for $30 off $70 and the other for $40 off $100. In trying to find the best combination to use for the coupons the salesgirl fist rang up 2 items for around $80 and used the $30 coupon where the total came to $49.60. We decided that the $40 off $100 was better so we returned the 2 items for $49.60 and bought everything else and after using the coupon the total came to $62.00.I remember it well that when the cashier rang up 4 items the total came to $94 and she directed my daughter to the clearance jewellery rack where she picked up a necklace, which she didn't need, for the total to reach $102.00. Then the $40 dollar coupon was applied and the total came to $62. When my bill came in the mail I saw that I had been charged for both $49.60 and $62.00. The return for $49.60 had not shown up in the bill. I went back to the store to try and resolve it there but they kept insisting that I was wrong. One of them kept rolling her eyes at me, looking and showing her exasperation. I know I am right and that the store has charged me twice for the same items. I wrote to corporate and spoke with 2 people. They were no help and kept insisting that the receipt total without the coupon adds up to $150 and I have been trying to tell them that if that was the case then why did the salesgirl tell us that we are short of $100 by 6 dollars. $100 was the total needed to get the $40 dollar discount.

I am appalled and disgusted at one of the managers at the Express in Montgomery. I was shopping with my fiance, trying to get him some jeans and a few other things. We were in there over an hour looking and trying things on. Everytime I wasn't right beside my fiance, she was over there flirting with him. Even asked if he wanted her to assist him "inside" the dressing room. It really made him uncomfortable along with really making me mad. She would not quit following him around. I have looked everywhere to try and find a phone number or something to their upper management to complain. This is not the first time I've heard about her in town. Apparently she freely gives her services there in the changing rooms as well as after hours.
I will continue until I get the upper management aware of what kind of trash they have working in "management" here in Montgomery. ~L
