Job postings show experteers baseline salary estimates. No salary's are accurate and a wasted my time.

I JUST signed up and once in premium noted it was completely different info and salary's that do show are far lower than the shown baseline. Also any I bookmarked- only 2 of 8 were available to view.
Red flag that initial view before paying was deceptive. Shameful

You CLEARLY did not read the complaint. It says I just signed up for Premium! If your reading is any indication of your business practices then that is further telling. And no response on the refund ? Hasn’t been 48 hours. The money is to be returned immediately. Bank contacted all screenshots saved and sent.

I did premium. I’ve requested my money back. You didn’t address the jobs that show in free bit don’t show in premium. That’s what I paid for. I will simply go to he bank and get the refund.
And you are not clear in your benchmarking. 200k vs a 47k (which is ridiculous for a Director position for someone w more than 17 years experience is ludicrous. So: red flag number 5.

Experteer Subscription

Experteer will silently "renew" your subscriptions and then deny your request for refund, even if you cancel 1 minute after the silent renewal.
Hopefully your credit card company might very well be on your side and give a full refund, so please, request a charge back from your credit card company. Mine did refund me fully 1 week after they issued a provisional credit to me. Experteer then sent me another email saying I cannot cancel like that but hey, it has been refunded guys. Experteer should quickly review their cancellation policy and quit sending these automated CSR emails.

Experteer Deceptive billing practices

In my opinion, this organization cannot be trusted and is nothing short of a money mill. I purchased the premium service for 6 months. I cancelled on the precise renewal date (July 13th) but after my CC charge was processed. I immediately contacted them and they refused to issue a refund. Subsequently, I exchanged several emails including my cancellation. Even after receiving this documentation they refused to offer a refund. They even went so far to say that I did not cancel in spite of the proof I offered. Ultimately they offered a 50% refund which I refused again requesting a full refund and promising that I would take action on social media. I never heard back from them and being true to my word provide a review with which their potential clients should take caution not to engage with this outfit.

The issue is their auto renew policy that does not allow you to cancel after your credit card has been charged. They allow the fine print to cover them for their refusal to issue a refund when you attempt to cancel, even on the renewal date. I was alerted by my CC company of the charge on the renewal date (July 13, 2020) and immediately disputed the charge and cancelled my membership. I emailed them directly seeking a full refund as I no longer valued the service. They initially refused to acknowledge that I had actually canceled and even after they did forced me to pay for the service for an additional six months so that they could capture more revenue. After several more emails with copies to their CEO, they offered a 50% refund which I felt inadequate given that I canceled on the precise renewal date. The CEO failed to respond to my direct emails on every occasion. With my complaint left unresolved they went silent. I get that they have an auto renew process, but unlike other online services, they refuse even a pro-rata refund, which in my case would have been 100%. This is not the type of company I do business with. They are dealing with many people who do not have jobs and cannot afford to be charged for unused, undesired services. Moreover, after taking the time to investigate their leadership team, the lack of response from their CEO telling. It demonstrates to me this is a chronic complaint.

This response is precisely your problem. When I cancel a service I expect it to be processed on the day it occurs, not six months in the future. Your business model is dishonest and you know it.

Experteer Membership

Experteer is an international scam and should be investigated by regulatory authorities in the countries it is permitted to operate in. I purchased a 6 month membership for my husband for $119.40 in November 2019 as a birthday gift. My husband's mother passed away and he had to travel out of the country so was unable to utilize the services. I called (phone: +[protected]) to cancel the membership due to unused services, but Experteer would not cancel or reimburse the $119.40 premium membership (period 11/09/2019-05/06/2020) plus the $3.58 international service assessment fee they changed my bank. Additionally, on May 7th my bank was charged a second time for $119.40 (05/07/2020-11/08/2020) plus another $3.58. I again disputed the second charge and this time sent an email (support. [protected]@experteer.com) on May 7th (ticket 350076) the same day it posted to my bank account, but I received a response from Experteer representative Nuria Lopez that they would not reimbursed me for the second membership either, essentially services my husband did not use and will not use. We are dissatisfied with this scam and customer service. As of this post (05/21/2020) we were scammed $245.96. This company is an internet scam and we do not recommend it to anyone.

Experteer Subscription

This site is very frustrating. I had an old account that I removed (it was a free account) successfully. I also believe that I have removed my other paid account. However, Experteer does not appear to have actual Customer Service and I was charged for a renewal when I had already tried to cancel. I not cannot get anyone from Experteer to confirm 100% that all of my emails and particularly my paid subscription was cancelled. I believe that Experteer owe me the renewal back since I did send a query before the renewal date. But this is ridiculously and unnecessarily complicated. I don't think the service was helpful and it is expensive for not much value. I want Experteer to confirm that all of my addresses have NO accounts or billings associated with this company. I am sending this message from all of my emails just to make 100% sure that they stop billing me. I believe Experteer is extremely customer unfriendly and borderline unethical. I should be able to cancel and not go through a dozen steps. -Sarah Bannon

I went onto your website four times on February 13th and it was not coming up properly. I double and triple-checked and it kept coming up that the website was having issues. I did also send a message on 2-14 -20 which finally went through which was the day of the renewal. I received no notification from your company until almost two days later. You can say whatever you would like but the fact is that your company has a website that makes it very hard to cancel subscriptions (which is I am sure on purpose), and your website was having issues on 2-13-20...and your company still selected to charge me even when I was able to get through by 12:00am on 2-14-20.

Experteer subscription premium service

I was unhappy with the results of this service and twice tried to cancel. In August I went into the system to cancel and it said it would send an email to confirm. I never received the email and was charged again on August 18. I tried again on 16th of September and the same thing happened. I waited for the email, but it appeared to be delayed. So I got busy with something else and forgot about it. Three days later I was charged by Experteer, so I sent a message asking that my account be cancelled and my last month refunded. They replied that they had no record of me trying to cancel. I went back to my spam folder of email and finally found their message. I forwarded this to them to show that I had in fact tried to cancel the service. They just replied that they were sorry, but there was no record in their system that I had cancelled.

I have now blocked them on my paypal account, but would still like to see a refund of September's payment of E29.50. It should not be legal to make it so difficult to cancel a service.

After several back and forth emails, they have agreed to refund my September payment.

Experteer has refunded my September payment. If you cancel the premium service, be sure to block your automatic payment to make sure no additional payments are deducted.

Experteer premium membership

I purchased the Premium Membership from Experteer when trying to find a job- once I had found one (without Experteer) I cancelled my membership and received a confirmation email.

I am still being billed- despite taking an action to cancel this membership- customer service claims there's a second button to hit, but the email sent from them says "cancellation of your premium membership"

Customer service claims I will still be billed for a lower service- but there is no option to get rid of all billing. I have seen numerous similar complaints. How could anyone work for such a scam!?

Experteer account cancellation

on 12/17/18 I cancelled my 3 month subscription; prior to the renewal date of 12/28. On 12/27 Experteer placed a charge on my account. I am denying the charge - its in process- but there seems to be no way to contact Experteer short of calling the number in Germany. What a bunch of unprofessional thieves. But then, are there really professional thieves?

Experteer I am being charged monthly by your company

I sent a letter over 6 months ago and when someone called me back thaey could not find an account for me, however I am still being charged monthly, I need this to stop and a refund of my chargeds. I have not been getting any services from your company and need this rectified ASAP. ai I have a receipt # FISP_7498750831100053120638 this was charged to my account on 11/7/18 and says it was for purchases from Purchase at EXPERTEER Muenchen DE for $24.90 this has been happening for many months still? Experteer no job listings, no refund.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

Waste of time and money. Similar to other's who feel scammed by this company, I too believed that I would get some value from this site advertising Executive Jobs from $100k. I WAS WRONG. I completed the profile to 100% completion, indicated that I was available for contact, and 0 recruiters contacted me, ZERO and few of the job postings were even relevant to my search. Concerned that the problem was me, I checked out the Headhunter tab and in fact, out of 292 "headhunters" on the site, only 1 had any open positions and that recruiter had only 8 openings! So, a career site for Executives with only 8 openings. This is a joke.
After being sorely disappointed with my 3-month subscription, I followed the byzantine cancellation process prior to my renewal date. Unfortunately, they did not receive my cancellation notice and renewed my membership. I immediately contacted them about my desire to cancel and they refuse to refund my money.

Bottom line, Zero Value Service, Zero Value Customer Service= $136 mistake.

Experteer fraudulent debit sent to and paid by my paypal account

On Aug 13, 2017 my account with Paypal was debited €138 for something (?unknown?) that I did not order. Invoicenr: 2017-08-13-PL3242040042000. I do not know Experteer and was travelling at the time with no internet on the day. Please refund the €138 to my Paypal account. Regards/Glenn Anderson, Tullinge, Sweden PS/ I have now seen that I started a service in 2011, that was subsequently cancelled about a year later. Apparently this confirmation was false and I have been remiss in Paypal account control. However, I do demand that at least the latest €138 is refunded.

Experteer Premium subscription service

I had a 6 month premium subscription service. The auto renew kicked in, and four hours into the first day of the renewal, I notified the company that I need to cancel my subscription. They denied it, and refuse to refund me the service, despite being 4 hours into the 6 month subscription. I'm not sure if any US firms treat customers like this, but stay away from this firm. Use other services, that actually care about their customers.

Experteer Job search site

I signed up for a 3 month premium Experteer membership in November 2016 as I wanted to relocate to germany. In January I decided I want to stay where I am, but when I tried log onto my Experteer.de profile, it said it didn't regognize my email anymore. I tried logging in many times, but then realized it might be my membership which expired. On the 27 Feb I got billed 80 Euros for a new membership, and suprize surprise, my login worked on the 28th Feb again! I did not ask for this renewal, nor could I have cancel my subscription as I could not login. The fact that it said my email is not registered at the end of Jan, made me think it is because my membership had run out. When I emailed customer service, and spoke to Sara Bernulli, I was told that they can not refund my money, and that I must read the terms and conditions. Sorry but this is fraud! Do not sign up or use them ever. I had to cancel my credit card as I saw online that people complained that even when they do cancel it, Experteer just keeps on deducting money off their accounts.

Experteer Experteer 6 months offer

Unfortunately, not a worthwhile experience. Absolute waste of money - 400 euros no more no less. Bought a 6 month membership, profile was 100% completed, 6 years industry experience. Always get a lot of recruiters reaching out on LinkedIn (free profile), at least once a week. Got no emails or recruiters on Experteer, not one in 6 months. Was upset but decided well the 6 months offer will expire and I can forget about it. Image my surprise when Experteer withdrew another 6 months payment from my bank account. It was not a 6 month offer but a subscription for life it seems. Was so difficult to find where to cancel it, well hidden in the description of sponsorship. I wrote to customer service to complain but was met with a legal response. Thank god I checked my bank statement otherwise would end up paying them for years for a useless service. Watch out or you'll be paying them for the rest of your life.

Experteer Career Search Service

Service DOES NOT provide listing that are unique or unavailable from other sources and DOES NOT refund subscriptions after 2 weeks.

I subscribed to 6 months services for $178 for job listings for high $$ professional position that were represented as being generally not available from other sources. After 3 weeks of frustration, I requested a refund based on mis--representation of quality and quantity of job leads. I was told that no refund was allowed after 2 weeks, per the T&Cs of the service.

Note this service is administered from Germany, and with no local representation or customer service phone #, which is likely part of the reason for their poor quality of listings. Their contact info:

We provide a free Basic membership and also a Premium membership, which offers you all functions. Premium members can respond to requests from recruiters directly and see and apply to 100% of our 90.000 jobs.

It is easy to cancel to the next possible date (in your account or by email to us), you can do this even 1 day before prolongation and we confirm every cancellation in writing within days. A cancellation of the whole agreement is possible within 14 days. This is common procedure for the majority of companies.

Experteer They took fake charges

I subscribed for the website www.experteer.com, when I had terrible situation in my life. I found job and cancelled the subscription, because they charged me every month for it. But I recently checked my bank statement and found out that they continued to take money after I cancelled the subscription. It was nightmare to contact these people and ask again to stop their fake charges.
Be careful and warn other users that they can charge for nothing.

Enough is enough! Tens of thousands of victims = lots of money!
We created a dedicated e-mail account for reporting the deceit cases to us.
Please e-mail us the amount of the money they owe you to deceived.by.Experteer at google mail and we will look what we can do about it!

Experteer Refused to refund a 6 months subscription fee

I have made a premium membership first time in this website at the date of 05.01.2014 for 6 months premium membership, tried their service and did not find any use of it, so I stopped using and totally ignored the website . After 6 months have passed, I forgot to cancel the paid membership before the expiration of the period, so my Paypal account got charged of €100 for another 6 month, at the day my account got charged, I directly sent a recharge and cancellation request. Unfortunately they refused, while they made me pay for a service that I am supposed to access forward, ignoring the fact that I am not willing to use it !
I understand that this is indicated in their terms of service, however, this problem happens to many online services, and since the service is provided ahead (in the future), the cancellation and recharge should be accepted by their part. Especially that it is not only a monthly subscription, it is semi annual subscription and would be very unfair to refuse.

Experteer uses underhanded tricks comparable to that of a crooked used car salesman. They automatically renew your membership without notice. Expect a person to happily pay for six months at a high price. Have a hidden fine print. Stay away from them.

I purchased one month subscription for Experteer website and I expected for it to be one off payment. Unexpectedly in next month bank statement I’ve noticed same charge from Experteer. I thought it was mistake but one month later same thing happened. Stay away from Experteer.
