Expedia tickets to knotts berry farm

I purchased tickets to Knotts Berry Farm for 3/18/19 on January 14th, 2019. I got an email confirming the tickets from expedia within 3 minutes, but the email had 1/15/19 date to use the tickets (I apparently did not get the 3/18/19 date updated). I proceeded to contact expedia immediately on Jan. 14th & explained how I wanted 3/18 dates hopefully to get the tickets corrected or potentially a refund so I can get new tickets with the corrected dates. It has been 6 weeks & I have not received an answer from expedia about this issue. How hard is it to change the dates for tickets or refund it so I can buy new ones - especially since I am paying $235.00.

I purchased tickets on 1/14/19 for Knotts Berry Farm for March 18, 2019 for 5 of us. Immediately after purchasing them I got an email from expedia & the email showed 1/15/19 as the date to use. I contacted expedia immediately on 1/14 about the 3/18 date, I thought I had done it correctly & wanted to know if the tickets could be changed to 3/18 or could I get a refund so I could go in & buy the tickets for the correct date. It has been 6 weeks & I have not heard back from expedia. How hard is it to answer my question. I seem to have problems with expedia. Please let me know as the 3/18 date is approaching & I would like to have this resolved. Debbie Reinbold

Expedia delayed luggage

Respected Concerned officer,
With all due respect, I am writing this note to inform you about the services of airlines I got while booking through Expedia. I booked 2ways ticket Doha-LHR-JFK, on 18 Feb 2019, I had a flight Doha-London - JFK and it arrived on time. However, when I came outside to receive my luggage at JFK airport it was nowhere to be found. I went to the reception so that they could help me out and they asked me to wait patiently. I waited for some time but my luggage did not arrive. I was told that it has been left in Heathrow airport and I had to wait till next day to receive it.
I have shockingly experienced the same delay on 23rd February while landing in Doha back from JFK on flight BA 7010 - operated by Qatar airways.
That is very disappointing comparing to the high standard services expected to be offered to a business class passenger.
I am very displeased with this occurrence; Starting a business trip and attending business meetings with no luggage is not pleasant and affected myself as on personal and professional level.in parallel, you may please consider this serious incident as it is indeed strongly reflecting on you image. Please contact me to send you the two reports of delayed bags have been attached to this note. Thank you for your concern. Looking forward to your reply.

Expedia hotel reservation

I made my reservation for a hotel in Jeddah for one night to chech in by 10th Feb 2019 then the hotel declined expedia booking because no contract is active between the two parties. I paid twice, expedia deduction from my VISA and Cash to the hotel. When I raised a complain to expedia, I found very poor customer service who didn't help me until now

Expedia name change on airline ticket

I booked a plane ticket from Toronto to Punta Cana for Feb 14-18, 2019 for my son's girlfriend through Expedia. Let me add, I have used Expedia for almost every vacation that my family and I have booked for the last nine years and have been impressed with the ease and guarantee of no conflicts for any of the trips.

The flight was on Air Transat. (Expedia Itinerary number [protected]). The two broke up and a friend of his was willing to fill the seat as it was already paid for.
I contacted Expedia on Monday February 4th, 2019 and asked to do this and that I was willing to pay a administration fee for the inconvenience. I was advised by Expedia that it was against their policy to change names. I was advised that it could only be done through the airline.

When I called the airline, they advised that since I was a third party, as I had booked through Expedia (my travel agent), that only they were allowed to ask for the name change. They provided me instructions that Expedia simply had to call the GDS Department and insist on an exemption and the name change could occur. I called back and spoke to a front-line worker and explained what I had learned. He passed me on to his supervisor who placed me on hold and made the call. When he returned, he advised that Air Transat said they would not do it. I asked if he had asked to speak to the GDS Department, and he advised he had not. I asked him to please call back and speak to the department that I was directed to. After placing me on hold, he came back minutes later and advised that Air Transat customer service was now closed. He advised that he would follow up and would contact me within 72 hrs (Thursday Feb 7, 2018 at 8:30pm).

After 84 hrs of waiting for a return call, I called Expedia again and explained my situation and asked that they call the GDS Department. When the customer service clerk came back onto the phone, she advised that she was unable to fulfill my request.

Although I had advised Expedia that I was willing to swear out an affidavit to a Justice of the Peace that this change of names was not untoward, I was unable to change a name of a seat, 10 days before the flight. A seat, that I had purchased and was not going to be filled. Although Expedia continued to quote it was their policy, there has to be some exemptions for this, especially when the airline advised me that it could be done. This was poor customer service.

In Ontario, we have the buyer's remorse law, should this not be applied for airline tickets as well? I am seeking reimbursement or a credit from Expedia for a request for a service that was unfulfilled.

Expedia queenstown hotel booking

I booked 7 rooms on Feb 8-10, 2019 at QT Queenstown through Expedia in May, 2018. Booking is confirmed and full payment has been paid.

However I've received the following message from QT on Feb 1, 2019, due to a technical system error, they are in an overbooking situation that does affect my reservation. We need to move to another hotel for 1 night.

we cannot accept such arranagement as we have a group of 17 people travel together, please advise how to fix the situation. Thanks

Expedia flight reservation online

We just booked a flight from Malaga to Athens with a stop in Paris. For peace of mind, we paid an extra 300$ on 500$ for a total of 800$, to select our seat. Once we paid, there was no way to select the seat. We then called Expedia to be told that for the seat selection, we need to call the airline. Nothing was mentioned on the website when we booked the flight. After discussing with the Expedia Clerk for 46 minutes, with his coaching, we were able to select the seats for one stretch but not for the other. He then explained that Expedia is not responsible, that the airline are. He suggested that I call the other airline to book my seats 48 hours before the flight. The clerk said he did his best, but Expedia did not. It is unacceptable that they sell preselected seat with extra payment, and yet do not allow selection on the website. Furthermore, I had to pay 46 minutes of cellphone call to get only half of the job done. And we now have to pay another call to select the seat I paid for on Expedia.

It is not the first time I have a problem with Expedia. The clerk always does its best, but Expedia does not. Your company is not customer service conscious, makes you pay but does not deliver the service

I should be reimbursed for the extra for seats and I should be able to get my seat allocation. Also, if you cannot precook seats, than you should not offer it.

Expedia delay-not enough time given between flights

I am writing in relation to itinerary #[protected] flight KLM4301, which was scheduled to fly at 12:30 pm on Wednesday 9th January.

Passenger name: Mary Muirhead and Lewis Muirhead
The flight was delayed and arrived late, as a result of the delay we missed our connection flight KL14401 CAN-SYD.
As a result of the delay, we lost a full night and morning of our trip.
We also experienced wrong information and wasted time waiting in a VISA queue when we could have stayed in the business class lounge and waited. We were taken to a hotel to wait 6 hours and in the room, we were provided had used condoms around the bed area. We asked to return to the airport and were told the shuttle will pick up in 6 hours!

We paid $11, 522.44 and booked with yourself. I don't understand why there was not enough time left between flights to allow us to get to our next boarding.

I am seeking compensation in the amount of $4000 due to the loss of night and day and the horrific experience we were made to endure.

Expedia deceptive website pricing

Every time I find a package price on the Expedia website, it's much higher when I go to check out. It gives you some message "Our apologies, but the prices have just updated". The prices should always be updated. Deceptive pricing! I researched packaged deals for 4 adults for Cancun for July and December 2019, I let all involved know how much it will be and then at check out it's close to 200 more per person per trip. That's not an updating issue, that's a price set to get our attention when that was never going to be the price ever. I booked a recent vacation for a November trip and the same thing happened, but I fell for it. The recent trip was awesome, but I use a travel site to have access to details and to make planning easy. I can't go to check out every time to see the "real" price. If the website pricing is not accurate, then it should read "estimated price per person per trip"

Expedia booking problems

I booked a room through Expedia for my convention in Las Vegas June 17-22 2019! Now the price I was given has increased by $50+ a night and a third party wants $500+ up front!
No where when I booked this room was it stated that there was a third party. They refuse to except the amount Expedia quoted me!
And to add to the confusion the Hotel is booked for the dates that I need to be there. To add to this mess I'm in a wheelchair so it is of the up most importance that I be located as close to my convention venue!
I have never in the pass 12 years of working with Expedia have I ever has such stress and confusion with a booking company!
I would like my reservation to be honored at the price quoted by Expedia!

Expedia cancelled my reservation then I have to prove it was cancelled

On Nov 10 I made a reservation thru Expedia. I found out from another hotel Expedia doesn't get reservations made in a timely manner so when I arrived at the hotel at 10 pm that night, with my reservation, Expedia had cancelled it. Probably more truthfully it never went through. So Visa is charging me because Expedia says they were willing to provide the service. That is not true. I will never use Expedia again!

Expedia extra fee charges

I booked a flight this morning from Saudi Arabia to Poland. My total amount at checkout was $533 INCLUDING the $35 flight protection plan. Two payments went off of my account, $533 and an ADDITIONAL $36. I tried phoning customer services but she couldn't give me a straight answer. She kept on telling me to phone my bank and the changed her story and said that Expedia charged me $36 for using a debit visa card and not a credit card. THIS WAS NOT STATED ANYWHERE DURING CHECKOUT. I want an explanation and a detailed quote.

Expedia reservation through expedia [protected])

Dear Expedia,

I would like to file a complaint against SIXT Car Rental. I had a reservation through Expedia [protected]) for the amount of 530.80 dollars. You deducted the amount of 88 dollars from me to confirm the reservation at Munich Airport. But when I arrived to the counter at 2 pm on 4-1-2019 the employee refused to give me the car claiming that I was one hour late for the pick-up time. Needless to mention, I was late due to procedures at the customs authorities. He said that if I want to pick up the car I would have to pay extra, and claimed that SIXT didn't get any money from Expedia (meaning the 88 dollars). And he increased the rent price from 76 dollars to 172 euros per day. And I also have to pay 1500 euros as a security deposit. This is against your policy which is 400 euros. This employee extorted me as I was in a situation where I needed a rental car because of my family. So I had to pay 1198 euros for 7 days without even him considering the 88 dollars I paid Expedia. Thus, I hold Expedia responsible as it is your duty to protect your customers, and I demand:

1- Return the 88 dollars I paid to Expedia.

2- Stick to the original deal and charge me only 530 dollars for the reservation 9869307956 and return the rest after returning the car.

3- Reparation for the damages due to the inappropriate extortion by your employee and making me wait at the counter for more than 2 hours.

Expedia missing expedia refund of usd 392.20

Hi, Expedia promised me a refund of USD 392.20 for itinerary [protected]. They stated it both on the phone and with an email follow up on November 27th 2018. I have never received it.

I have written them since, and they keep saying it was deposited to my bank account. However, my bank has no signs of this. Expedia also never sent an email confirmation of having sent that refund, like they have for other refunds.

They just keep repeating that the money was sent, and not suggest any way to help in finding out why there's no sign of it on my bank account. Please help!

We went to claim our room at Hotel Malka on Oct 25 and they did not have our reservation nor any rooms available. We expect to have full refund.

We were told when Expedia allowed us to double book multiple Hotels for the same nights that Hotel Malka was uncancelable. When we arrived in Jerusalem and tried to check into Hotel Malka and they had no rooms we asked for refund and they refused. When we called Expedia they also refused.

We expect at minimum refunded for Oct 25 through 30 as the Hotel had no rooms available. This is fraud and just wrong.

We have sent letters to Ohio Attorney Generals office and American Express as well.

Expedia complaint for itinerary # 7401927579339 - horrible experience at smugglers cove hotel islamorada florida, please refund my $375.26

My name is Scot I am making a complaint about my reservation and stay at Smugglers Cove Islamorada Florida Itinerary # 7401927579339 which I booked through Expedia for January 3-5. Last week my family and I had a horrible experience at Smuggler's cove, and I would like my money back $375.26.

This was my family's horrible experience.

• For the entire 5 hour drive to Smugglers cove, nobody would answer the phone at the hotel. We called Smugglers Cove Hotel number many times with no answer.
• When we arrived at Smugglers Cove there was nobody in the office, we tried to get a manager's attention to no avail. Finally a lady who spoke no English pointed us to room number 2 next to the office.
• When we called the Smugglers Cove office number a text came up instead, I and my children could hear the sounds of someone having sex coming from room number 2 which is where the Office hotel manager lived apparently later we found out his name was either Rafael or Ricardo we never actually got his real name.
• We knocked on the door, Rafael/ Ricardo yelled "I'm busy come back in an hour!" we said back that we would not wait an hour.
• Eventually Rafael/ Ricardo came out wearing no shirt, sunglasses, and extinguishing a Marijuana Joint in his hand and smelling of POT.
• He said we had No Reservation, we were aghast!
• With nowhere else to go having driven so far, we said we needed a room, with 2 beds. We were able to show him on our cell phone our Expedia reservation at smugglers cove, he did not show us, he had no record. Rafael said to my wife "Lady do whatever you want...?!"
• We walked up to room 6 and saw that the door was WIDE OPEN.
• Within minutes the Toilet overflowed sending filth all over. See picture of broken toilet attached.
• Also Raccoons came by and terrorized us, nobody was bitten thankfully. See pictures of Raccoons attached destroying garbage.
• Our blankets were dirty and smelled like urine.
• Rafael the manager was seen later smoking a Joint / Marijuana outside sitting on a swing.
• There were no towels, the refrigerator was broken.
• The Hotel stairs and banisters were broken and unsafe. Several slats missing from the railways. We had a conversation with a woman who had a toddler and she said she couldn't let the baby walk on the upstairs landing as the baby may fall 2 stories down to the ground.
• There were several other people outside of the manager's office with complaints, no response from Rafael/ Ricardo, televisions broken, no WIFI passwords, one guest from Chicago was so disgusted Rafael/ Ricardo tried to fight him.
• The Jetski rental guys who work there even said that this place was a nightmare mess.
• The public restrooms had out of order signs. Both restaurants and fire pit and BBQ areas were inoperable and decrepit. We wanted to BBQ one eve and no area was available. People were showing up to eat at the restaurants and they were all closed the entire time we were there. We were prepared to eat dinner out each eve at Smugglers Cove and nothing was open as advertised.
• No working ice machines, refrigerator was broken so all our food spoiled.

This was a horrible experience for my family at Smuggler's cove, my children witnessed the manager Rafael/ Ricardo using drugs, everything was a mess.
See my pictures attached and please refund my money for Smuggler's Cove and I suggest you never advertise this place again.

Expedia airlines had no record of ticket when checking in

On friday, the 7th of december, 2018 at 6am, my friend & I were dropped off at nyc jfk international airport terminal 2 for a 9:40 am aero mexico by delta flight #dl 0481 going to mexico city. at the check in counter, we were told that we need to go to terminal 4 for check in (it was clearly printed on our confirmation sent by expedia that check in would be at terminal 2 delta counter). my husband who dropped us off had already left so we asked how do we get to terminal 4 from terminal 2 & we were instructed to take the airtrain. with our suitcases in tow and walking out in the cold we had to find our way to the airtrain station. when we arrived at the aeromexico check in counter, the lady at the counter told us to walk over to the delta counter because that counter would be about to close. but when I told her about coming from terminal 2, she decided to just check us in. my friend was checked in without any issue. she could not checked me in no matter how she tried using my confirmation number so she asked me to call expedia. the first person I had spoken to was not able to solve the issue and kept making excuses, so I asked to be referred to a supervisor or manager (his name is eril?). I was back and forth with him for a long time. (I refused to hang up until the issue was resolved). the agent at the counter helping me got on the phone with him to let him know he had until 8: 25 am to resolve the issue and get me ticketed to make the flight with my friend. to add to the problem the flight was fully booked and even if a ticket was issued I would be on stand-by. fyi, I booked this flight through expedia early part of july, 2018. at 9am, expedia was not able to do anything for me & being so exhausted and stressed out, I let the delta counter agent talked with the expedia person. delta supervisor & other personnel got involved at this point. my friend decided that she was not getting on that flight without me. I just completed chemo therapy for breast cancer and still experiencing some weakness of both legs plus I had eye surgery a few months ago and my vision has not been totally back so I need some assistance. a higher official from delta was called for advice and that was when tickets for both me and my friend were issued and by that time it was past 11am. there were no 2 seats available on any of the other flights to mexico city except the one we were booked in flying out at 5:30pm, delta airlines felt bad for us that they did some over riding or something just to be able to issue us tickets. expedia didn't resolve the issue whatsoever and would not even admit their fault. I think even if I was given a confirmation number by expedia upon booking, I was never ticketed because delta or aero mexico had no record of it. also when I tried to get my seat assignment, I was not allowed to do so on - line. I called aero mexico and I was told my seat will be assigned when I check - in at the delta counter. I didn't have that problem with my friend's booking. I managed to get a seat assigned to her. thank goodness, we didn't have a problem with our flight coming back from mexico city to ny via jetblue on the 13th of december.
Hope you can look into this matter although now I think i've learned my lesson for this is the second time I had issue about booking through expedia.

Expedia baggage

Hi,

I am following up on my issue for more than 22 days but no solution. Issue is as below.

Before booking when I inquired about allowed baggage for my flight the told me 2 bags of 23 KG per person.

So, I proceed and booked my flight.

After booking when I called again to cross verify they are telling 1 bag of 30 KG only.

When I asked to provide me recording based on which I have booked they are telling we can not provide you recording but we have checked.

I asked please provide me detail about my call which I have made before booking like date, time, duration name of the agent, my contact number and all they are not able to provide me.

They are lying that our agent told bag of up to 23 kg only not 2 bags of 23 KG per person.

Moreover they are not providing proof based on which they are rejecting my claim.

I would like to request all reader please don't book with this cheater company they are not honest and ethical.

They don't follow their own wordings.

Please let me know if any one can help me to resolve this ASAP.

Expedia hotel not received room charges

Hi,
We are Owner of New Aye Yar Hotel of Nay Pyi Taw City, Myanmar .
Under Experia booking we received Guest and we not received guest room charges since 6 Months .we keep asking our room charges from Experian Yangon office they denied answer our call and not reply our mail . this is to inform you that we will start to stopped your guest in our Hotel .
I've requested a our room charged many time but Expedia not give to us. I'm trying to contact them, but their customer service representatives are a bunch of idiots who don't even read emails and just copy/paste template answers.
Is there any other contact phone except for Customer Support where I can call and ask them to sort this out, because Customer Service clearly aren't doing their job. I've also contacted our bank, and now they are awaiting for a simple e-mail from Expedia to investigate, which Expedia still can't do.

Any advice? Would really appreciate it. Its hard to deal with this because I'm not in US, if I would, I'd try to make them pay from this kind of irresponsibility.

Worst company I've ever dealt with so far.

Expedia star rating on expedia for these hotels were great however when I arrived I was very disappointed!!

Bad bad bad birthday weekend : (this was the second room that we booked the first room was boardwalk inn. Soon as we puled in we both looked at each other like o>m>g so we immediately went on expedia and changed hotels to the hampton inn, I thought this hotel was renovated when I went on expedia site it showed such great pictures of this hotel. When we got there it was horrible the room looked great but the balcony view was the worst ever! I took many pictures because I could not believe how bad it was. There were waist 4 dumpsters in the back of the hotel. Which ruined the view. I usually trust expedia but after my birthday weekend was ruined by not one but two horrible rooms I think I will be going to price line. I have pictures if anyone would like me to send them.

Expedia air ticket

Flight Complaint - Case ID : [REQ:M-[protected] Itinerary number [protected]
Expedia issued me with a ticket, the first leg of which (Wellington to Auckland, New Zealand with Air New Zealand) was invalid. They assured me that it was valid but when I turned up at the airport it was invalid. I had to use another ticket ot get to Auckland to book my flight to Amsterdam. China Southern refused to let me board because I had not used the first (invalid) leg.

Both Air New Zealand and China Southern have confirmed in writing that the Wellington-Auckland leg of the ticket Expedia issued was invalid.

Expedia now claim:
"As per your request, we have spoken to the airline. As per the communication, the airline market you as a "no-show'' as you were late for the boarding for your Expedia reservation. The flight was boarded using the fresh ticket that you purchased directly at the airport.

Hence, we are unable to honor your claim at this moment as we have to abide by the airline's policy."

This is false.
Expedia are refusing to honour their contract and to correct their mistake.
