Excalibur Electronics / Touch Screen Backgammon / The worst scams I have seen!

1 United States Review updated:

I just received from BROOKSTONE / EXCALIBUR ELECTRONICS, a hand held "Touch Screen Backgammon". It was advertised as "an increasingly challenging" game. An imbecile could not find this game challenging. It has a book of rules to play which it ignores as it does all the standard rules know to experienced players. This is one of the worst scams I have seen. It is not worth the cheap price to bother to do anything with it.

The game isn't all that challenging to be honest, its AI must not be that great. But what do you expect for such a cheap game? I got mine for $7.00 at JC Pennies, and believe it was worth the $7.00, but not more. I too had hoped it would be more challenging, possibly two players, and had point match games featuring a doubling cube, but this is only a $7.00 product.
