As someone deeply involved in event planning, I understand the importance of seamless online invitations. Looking at the reviews for Evite, it's evident that customers have had mixed experiences. I had to go from a three star to two stars because customer service was not responding to me. When I use the app, there are certain options not available. When I used the website they had had some options I liked that the app didn't have, however, it wouldn't connect to my contacts. I wasn't going to manually enter 40 phone numbers. The invitation designs are pretty vast.

So I've used Evite in the past but wanted a better experience, so I paid for it (wanted a personal photo added). Now that I'm trying to update the photo - I see NO help topics related to changing or updating the photo, no chat and I'm literally frustrated because I'm just waiting for them to email me back after completing a fill-in form on the website. If I pay for something, I expect better service.

I like using the Evite because it allow my guest to RSVP & I can track it however as far as me adding my on pic it's horrible graphics. I should be able to add a jpeg that looks clear on the invitation and it should allow for larger pictures. Evite should also keep in mind that every invite is not for parties, some are for networking meetings, etc. so the backgrounds should vary more. The personal pics on the invite looks bad!

Almost Perfect... - I love how I can upload contacts to send out invites. Now, if only Evite partnered up with Open Table!

Very helpful customer service. Fast service, great quality paper products. Loved them! Please use this company for your future party invitation needs.

Due to evite's unclear and poorly designed presentation, 75% of invited 40 guests on list did not reply, even after a second follow up evite, due to following issues: 1) received evite, scanned email heading, but did not understand to open further; 2) opened and Viewed Invitation heading design, but did unclear as to go further 3) opened and Viewed Invitation heading design, but did not understand to scroll down to reply; nor did not open Message from Host; nor did not reply to RSVP; nor leave message. Also, as soon as evite is opened, recipients are bombarded with loud ads popping up. If you're in an office setting the first reaction is to simply DELETE.
Absolutely terrible design structure, obviously when so many people have difficulty responding there is a major flaw and basic defect in the entire planning on this system. DO NOT USE if you want to save yourself from major frustration! You'll end up making phone calls at the 11th hour to most everyone on your list.

My Fiancee and I used E-Vite to mail out wedding invitations. We found this product to be very poor because of the following;

1/ we found that a number of people whos email addresses were correct, and correctly uploaded into the site never received the invitation.
2/ there is no facility to attempt to resend an invitation that the site thinks has already been sent (i. E. an invited guests tells you that they didnt receive any invitation)
3/ people who received our invitation told us that the center-justified text of our invitation was shifted right so that it was partially cut off. We checked our proof, and everything was OK. I mean "come on people"... whats the most basic thing that an EVite should get right?... answer: basic, basic formatting!
4/ support is crap. They just send a form email back that says they're sorry for any inconvenience.
5/ this site doesnt resend invitations to delinquent invitees who have fogotten to RSVP by a certain date. This translates into you chasing people yourself. What did you pay Evite for?
6/ after you have responses from guests... there is a process for compiling and extracting the respondents info. However, a lot of necessary info is not compiled. For a wedding, the invitations need to allow compiling of various things... such as; whos having which meal.,,,"roast chicken or prime rib". The product falls short of what it could be.

You can do a lot (I mean a lot) better building your own invititation attachment, and emailing to your friends using your own email. At the end of the day, this product doesn't help muc

Am a guest and was unable to connect, thankfully we were able to quickly use messenger and FaceTime with guest to continue the baby shower for: Chelsea and Ken Aquino, 4/24/2022 at 1:00 pm MST

This site was an utter failure for my daughter’s baby shower, such a disappointment. Thank goodness we were able to save the day at last minute by FaceTime. Will never recommend this site. Save your money! Use Zoom

Hostesses were unable to get site connection

Worst customer service or lack of! Sent Evites out and several guests did not receive the invite (all information was confirmed and inputted correctly). Evite does not let me resend the invitations either, only add guests. The FAQ link says that I can copy evite link to guests or "share" link and when I send it, guests get a "hmmm, you are not of the guest list" response.

Sent a message to customer support and got an automated response 24 hours later stating if I still had the issue, to reply to that automated email. I did respond to the email immediately, and after almost 36 hours, there is still no response from anyone. Really terrible. Also, the 888-phone number listed on their website does not work. They are the worst!

I want to check and edit the current evite I have sent on June 21st and it has disappeared. contact me asap How can I get my most recent evite back so you can accommodate the disappearance of the invitation. This has never happened to me and what is happening on your end. Please respond as soon as possible this situation has to be dealt with immediately

Hello!

I was quickly charged for my daughters electronic birthday card but after it sent there was no RSVP. After checking their website for trouble shooting could not fix the problem, send three emails, called customer service number only to learn that Evite has not updated their number and someone else apologizes for them.

I want my money reimbursed, $12.00, and I don't expect to use them ever again.

I wanted to use this Evite service to make some guest invitations but my order was rejected and cancelled. I couldn't understand what was going on so I contacted Evite customer service and asked for some reasonable explanation. These guys have the most terrible and customer unfriendly support ever. Their rep said that they cancelled my order because there was something wrong with my location. I did not understand anything they said, it seemed like they were just trying to get to get rid of me as soon as possible. After I checked all the reviews online I'm actually glad they cancelled my order. Better stay away from this service.

Website has been posting and reposting the same message concerning email updates. Users can no longer update their email accounts to receive replies unless they create a new account with their new email. I have been emailing and found hundreds of similar posts of frustrated users that cannot update their accounts. The bogus excuses from Evite has been lingering for over 1 year with no resolution or response from Evite. The tactic they want you to do is to just go ahead and create a new account and that one day you may be able to merge accounts. All history will be gone or perhaps hijacked by evite if users can't access old accounts. Help us post this to get answers from Evite!
