EthosForGas / Failed to comply with rebate
They promised if I bought $79.00 of their product, they would send four rebates of $25.00 each. They also charged a $5.00 registration fee to be refunded with the last $25.00 rebated. Their promise was to rebate a maximum of $25.00 per month if the rebate form was sent in each month with receipts for $100.00 of gas purchases. After several calls for my July 2008 rebate, I finally got it in September 2008. After several more calls I got my August 2008 rebate in November 2008. I on November 19, 2008 about the September 2008 rebate and was told by Nick that the rebate had been mailed, but the mail truck had an accident and my rebate was on that truck. He also said that the rebate card was cancelled and that a new one would be mailed. How they would know that a mail truck had had an accident, let alone the fact that my rebate card was on that particular truck is beyond my comprehension. Never the less, I did receive the August 2008 rebate a few days later. I called on December 3, 2008 about the September rebate and talked to James. He told me the remaining two rebates had been mailed along with $5.00 registration fee. I called again on January 20, 2009 and was told by Nova that I would received everything they owed me no later than January 31, 2009. I called again on February 2, 2009 and was told by Michele everything had been straightened out with my account and that I would receive my last two $25.00 rebates and the $5.00 registration. She assured me that everything had been approved and I would get my money by February 20, 2009. Needless to say today is February 25, 2009 and I have not received any of their promised mail. I tried to call them again today and got a recording that I had dial an invalid number. I tried it again to make sure I had dialed correctly and got the same recording.
