I have not accepted any loans or signed any contracts yet I have had 69.95 taken out of my account leaving me absolutly penniless. Cant believe i have been conned like this. Is there anyway I can get my money back? I was aware of the brokers fee if i actually agreed to the loand but i never. What am i gonna do. This is a scam, I have contacted the police and they have reported it. I advise others to do so. These companies change there names overnight to avoid being found so more people report the biggest chance the police have to finding them. I will never get a refund and neither will others. Also report them to actionfraud. Be careful out there people! Any questions contact me on R.[protected]@hotmail.co.uk

Yeah, i think i ve been ripped off as well. I sent an email to their customer service, i m gonna wait a couple days for reply, otherwise police will be involved. By the way, few days ago i received a letter from them and in a very big shrift it says, and i quote "IMPORTANT REGARDING OUR £69.95 FEE - Please read this to avoid unnecessary action. Over the years some of our customers have contacted there bank to claim 'they do not recognise the transaction' or the transaction was 'fraudulent' etc. We will absolutely not tolerate this and will report you to the authorities. We will also blacklist you to the other finance companies in the UK"

To be honest, for me it sounds a bit suspicious !

I was just enquiring about a loan and was asked for my bank details before they would answer any questions. I never took out a loan and sent a letter cancelling my enquiry. I later received a threatening letter stating £69.95 will be taken from my account as ECS WELCOMELOANS and if I try to stop it they will report me for fraud. This was nearly three months ago and after several letters and e-mails I have not received one reply and I am still waiting for my money back. Also the phone number 0871 218 9614 quoted does not put you through to anyone and terminates the call. The number 08444 889766 is answered by customer service and insists she cannot help and there is no telephone number for Keekafar House in Wigtown for complaints or the head office. Company should be legally investigated.

I have also been conned by this company. I sent a recorded delivery letter to the legal compliance auditor. It still hasn't been signed for. I have now posted a note on can you trust them.com. There are notes from other people on there that say they have received their money back within days of posting on that site. I have emailed en welcome loans and advised what I have done. Will see if I get my "fee" back.

I was looking on the internet in early august for a loan.£69.95 was taken out of my account by ECSLOANS on 5thAugust, I was told i would get a refund but it needed to be put in writing. On 15th august.40 days ago, i was told the refund would take upto 28 days.
I have sent umpteen emails to them and have 2 emails back saying they are sorry they don, t know what the delay is.I also phoned them and they said they were only an enquiry lane.
This is something i am not prepared to give up on and will keep this up untill i get my money back in my acount, that was taken so quickly.

I have just been ripped off also for £69.95 never heard of this company or contacted them in any way I looked at loans but apr too high so i did without and struggled on only to find out this "company"has taken out money without my say so who are they?what right have they got to just help themselves to my money! I have phoned numerous times and talked to a scottish woman who is obviously bored tells me to write to a glasgow address which I did (no reply) Emails returned to me as failed no such address even though I had just spken on phone and meticulously wrote down word and dot! and finally being told to be patient it will be in my bank in 21days my bank have told me if nothing happens by then they will investigate through their fraud dept and if need be go to fraud squad as this is illegal I am absolutely furios over this it has put me off browsing the web that may involve money NEVER AGAIN the people are crooks and crimminals they should be ashamed I am on sickness benefit at the moment and this is most of my weeks money i looked into a loan to ease my financial worries not make them worse.

This is disgusting, i have been caught up in with this loan company WHAT A SCAM they are . i was told that they would look for the best rates in a loan for me, they ask me for my card details to check my credit, the next minute i was in and dated with text & e mails form other loan company's. i never agreed with any loan with Ecs or did i have any paper work in hard copy i never sign nothing & they never came back to me saying they had found a loan for me . but when i try to get my sick benefit out from my bank my money was short, i went to the bank to find that this company had taken £69.99, i am short of money as it is & all i was doing is looking for a good rate in a small loan & found i got robed of £69.99 form Ecs..these people who i even never heard back from.

Welcome loans (not to be confused with welcome finance who are bonafide) are a scam organisation. I have seen all of the comments on here and frankly I'm not at all surprised. They have an authetic looking website which encourages you to fill in the application form along with bank details, and in return they promise to find you a lender and charge you a one off admin fee 0f £69.99. You may as well kiss that goodbye folks, but once you have taken that on the chin it becomes even more sinister because within 48 hours your mobile phone will be bombarded with calls and texts from what you may think are genuine lenders, WRONG! most have asian accents, operating out of india and have a tape running in the background which leads you to think they are working out of a busy office, once again all of these are scammers, so welcome loans fleece you with the £69.99 fee in the first instance, and then pass your details onro third party scammers! For anybody out there please don't fall for anyone who calls your mobile offerring you a loan! there is no loan they merely want to take further funds from your bank account.

Kazy34 sadly, I would say that you have lost that, but do yourself a favour, phone your bank and cancel your card immediately and request a new one! organisations such as this will possibly come back for more. A s I said in my previous post, all of these are nothing but fraudulent scammers! unfrtunately in todays climate, I would say that if you have bad credit you have pretty much had it, you will only attract ### that want to fleece you. Most gemuine lenders are not touching anyone even slightly tainted anymore.

Been scammed with these dirty ### also, they took the £69.99 same day and the following 2 days £79.99 each day. Thank goodness I used my credit card to pay initial fee, I have some comeback with the refund. Credit card company are on to it and have said they will take this further. Trying to contact Martin Lewis Money saving expert to see if he can lend some clout to bring this digusting set of individuals running this SCAM to justice and anyone else who can show this lot for what they are.
