I bought an enercell product a year ago. The adapter went bad, so I went to see if the had that part. They said they didn't have that part and was unable to order it. I called the number to enercell and was advised that Radio Shack could order the product, and was given the order number. I had my wife go back to Radio Shack with the information. The sales associated said they couldn't order it and said there was nothing else she could do. My wife then told her she could call the company and ask for assistance on ordering the part. She dialed the number and made my wife leave a message for Enercell to call back. My wife left both mine and her cell numbers with associate. The encell company called me again and said he had gotten my wife's message, and that Radio Shack can order the part. To this day, Radio Shack has yet to call back. The service at this location is the worst I have ever seen. I will never shop at at Radio Shack again.

Enercell sealed lead-acid 12 volt 7A batteries are sold exclusively by Radio Shack. these batteries are provided by Verizon as part of the power center for their FiOS telephone service. One household power outage can drain the battery in about 45 minutes, requiring recharging or replacement. At almost $39 each, these batteries are expensive. They have a note on their side saying they can be recharged, but I have not been able to find chargers for them anywhere, including Radio Shack, the company that is the exclusive vendor of Enercell. This sounds like Radio Shack and Verizon struck a deal that is not in the consumer's best interest. We are forced to buy a new battery instead of recharging them.
