Empire Gen Construction review: After spending $11,800 still have the same problem! 2

Hi, My name is Jolanta Greczel; I am a manager for 140 Kent Street Brooklyn, NY 11222. 10/01/05 I have requested an estimate for a leaking skylight form: as stated on the Contract Empire Gen Construction USA Inc. 308 W 94th Street #528 New York, NY 10025 or as shown on the business card 345 W 86th Street #303 New York, NY 10024 All telephone numbers are the same for both locations. This consists of 8 outlined in detail points about the repair of the Bulk Head Skylight and the Bulk Head Room. The total $5,600.00 While on the roof Tom made an observation that the roof itself will probably need replacing in about a year. With this in mind I asked if he would also give me an estimate on the entire roof. On the draft page in the upper corner he added entire roof additional $4600.00. After reviewing the draft Tom came with a revised Contact for what he said was very important installation of metal termination around on all parapet and was not included it in the estimate, adding additional $1600.00 the amount Total of Contract $11,800.00. First rainfall after the completion of the project the skylight is leaking. Water damage to the interior of the Bulk Head Room which he charged me $900.00 extra to fix. December 2005, Tom responded, another patch on the skylight. We agreed to wait and see what happens after another rainfall. We also knew that I was not unavailable until July of 2006. Upon my return I contacted Tom to come to repair the water damage inside of the Bulk Head Room. Tom asked if we can postpone it until it got a little colder outside because he was very busy. No problem. But after the first rain upon my return I realized that the water damage was not old, but it has consistently been leaking all along. I called Tom and made him aware of the further damage this is creating. When he showed up in November to make yet another patch on the skylight and to sheetrock the inside of the Bulk Head Room, Tom determined that another patch will not eliminate the problem and he proceeded to give me a verbal estimate for the replacement of a new skylight anywhere between $4800.00 to $5200.00 Not believing Tom anymore I hired another contractor to install a new skylight, and by the way there was quite a substantial difference in the prices. Called Tom to make him aware that he is still responsible for the repairs to the inside of the Bulk Head Room (which he was already paid for), Tom claims that he is no longer responsible for anything, and I want to know why I have started with a an original problem leaking skylight and after spending $11,800.00 14 month later I am still having the original problem and no one to admit to it and no where for me to turn.
