Empire Today review: padding

When purchasing our carpet I told the salesman that I wanted the best padding he informed us that the 8lb was the best and it came with the carpet.It's in here now it's not the best padding, our 15yr old padding was better than what we have now, when you walk barefoot on the carpet you feel foreign objects under the carpet. I am very disappointed in the quality of the product I would have paid more money for better padding, but never had the option.
