Emexus Binary / Unauthorized charges for ringtones

1 CA, United States Review updated:

My 14 yr. old son who rarely uses his cell phone suddenly has two mysterious ringtones on the bill for $9.99 a piece! He doesn't even use ring tones! URGH!

This company sends spam text messages primarily to Sprint customers. If you open the message or if your phone automatically opens the message like mine does, Emexus bills your cellular account -- in my case $40. A friend told me there is a way to opt out of the charge somewhere in the message, but I deleted it before reading it as it was Spam. Sprint credited my account and blocked the company on my line. I don't know why Sprint doesn't block them from all of their lines.
