Embassy Suites customer discrimination

We traveled from Louisville, KY. to Raleigh NC and we had a taste for our favorite Cola only to discover the Hotel only served Coca Cola products. How dare you Discriminate against one set of customers, we had to leave the Hotel and find a place that sold Pepsi Cola. Don't you realize people are different, or is it that you don't care. We definitely won't stay at that dammed Hotel again because out of 125 people on the trip the majority wanted Pepsi Cola and not that nasty Coca Cola!

I had planned a trip for my family on December 11th and 12th. And I had made the reservation on my phone three times not sure if we were going to go so I canceled and remade it and canceled we weren't sure to take the fact that my brother was in the hospital dying of cancer and it wasn't until December 10th that he passed away and of course due to the...

Embassy Suites restaurant practice of refusing paying convention guest to take their food with them as they are leaving the hotel and airport area

Saturday, November 2, 2019 we had held a convention starting that Friday evening and ending Saturday afternoon after we ate. We had to leave, but we had not eaten all of our desert, only a bite or two so we asked to take it to our transportation. We wanted to eat it later and we had to leave immediately from the restaurant because our limosine had arrived. We were refused stating "no food could be removed from the restaurant!"
We have travelled all over the world and never for fifty years have we ever been told the food you have paid for must be eaten here. WE PAID for the food it should be our decision as to what is to be done with it.

Embassy Suites housekeeping

We recently stayed at the Embassy suites in Brunswick, Ga. on Oct the 27th. Checkout is at 12 noon but for some reason the housekeeper started knocking on our door at 10:18 Monday morning. When I opened the door she stated that she was just checking to see if we were still there. Totally uncalled for. At checkout we notified Miss Rose who was at the front desk. She sincerely apologized and stated that she has told them before not to do that. She stated that she would notify the housekeeper supervisor about the issue. Seems to me that it is time for a new supervisor or housekeepers since they refuse to stop because they want to hurry up and get done. People pay too much money to stay there to have to deal with this. Thank you with your assistance with this matter.

Embassy Suites embassy suites - internal integrity. human resources. recruiting practices

Hello,

Please enjoy my thoughts.
I come from a strong hospitality and resort background and applied for this role some time ago because I live in and love Temecula. I also really enjoyed my stays with ES. I fancy myself knowledgeable in customer service both internally and externally especially coming from an in-depth guest serving and resort/hotel background. I am also aware that I am overqualified for this role and the lower salary; even with that, I still wanted to apply when I did because I saw it as a potentially good match & opportunity with what I believed was a good company and brand. I am tremendously disappointed in your lack of respect for my time, lack of compassion and lack of professionalism regarding this experience.

It took 10 months to hire a Guest Services Agent. Why even bother notifying anyone of this status at this point everyone's already employed?!
Just some friendly and honest advice: this doesn't reflect well on Embassy Suite/ Windsor/Hilton as an employer, hotel choice or brand. You should be deeply concerned and check your HR and recruiting practices closely!

Practice what you preach TO YOUR TEAM😊

My son and I spent last night in suite 702. I was picking him up from a speech & debate conference at Bradley University. We needed to return to Rochester, New York with an early morning flight for other commitments. We were scheduled to leave Peoria airport at 6:20 am. I called the front desk requesting a 4:15 wake up call and a taxi for 4:30. I wa...

Embassy Suites sales manager

I am trying to book a room for my daugthers honeymoon night. I want to prepay for the room. I have been calling and leaving message with a the sales lady and she will not return my calls or messages. When I finally did get a hold of her she put me on hold for a long while and then told me she would have to call me back. Never heard from her. It has been over a week and I still have heard nothing from this hotel or her to help me with my request. Becoming very frustrated. No way to run a company!

Embassy Suites hotel reservations

I made a booking on line for October 13th at Embassy Suites Kansas City. I never received a confirmation number or email confirming the booking. About a month prior to the event I called to confirm my reservation over the phone. The gentleman I spoke with could not locate my reservation and I asked him to check my name for all other Hilton locations in the Kansas City area; He did and said I did not have a reservation at any Hilton Hotel in KC for 10-13. Since my reservation was not booked and I was already having issues with the booking, I chose not to proceed with booking a room for that date. I ended up booking at an alternate hotel. I checked my credit card statement on 10-29 and realized that Embassy Suites had charged my credit card the full amount. I then called the Embassy Suites and spoke with the controller. He basically stated that if I could not show proof that he would not credit my card. I do not know how I should show proof from a phone conversation. When the customer service rep tells you that you do not have a reservation for 10-13 in any KC surrounding Hilton Hotel, you do not expect to need a cancellation notice. I would like a refund on my credit card. I would have expected better customer service out of the Hilton chain of hotels. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. I am very disappointed that this is how this was handled.

Embassy Suites interview with laundry supervisor

Hello, To whom this may concern,
I am writing concerning the way your staff conducts their interviews. I felt I was judged before We ever got started. The way she approached me in the first place was Not professional but disrespectful. There was No eye contact... Unless she was sizing Me up. I felt very uncomfortable and confused as to why she was this way. I am more than qualified for the position I applied for and my records speaks for itself. I see why you need people... because based on her interview performance... You all need to hold classes on how to interview properly. To have qualified people come in search of employment... or my case a second job... I would never accept a job whereas people show their reality and disrespect upfront in an interview.
This is a first time experience for Me and it definitely wasn't a pleasant one. But, I feel it's best I seen this before ever becoming an employee.
Thanks... But No Thanks
For Future Reference... Having People in positions to judge you instead of your qualifications...You will Never gain the Good help you need to run a proper business.
Thanks

Embassy Suites promotion not being honoured-50 dollars casino voucher

The resident manager named Nauman (he didn't want to give his last name) did not want to grant us the 50 dollars the online promo we signed up for when we book our stay for the 21st and 22nd of October. The promo specifically stated that I would get an extra $25 if I book on those days. I complained and ask for his superior but he kept being stern and even threatened to cancel our reservation and call security. If we didn't drive two hours with two small children I would've left. I had no choice but to accept the situation to prevent escalation. However, when I asked for his name he got riled up and said "have a lousy day" and worst of all my daughter was in front of him, and he knew it! Now my daughter is shocked and scarred since she always had an excellent Embassy memories.

Embassy Suites reservation made for high school reunion

On September 22, 2018, I made a reservation to stay at your hotel for my 40 year high school reunion for Mater Dei High School. I live about 30 minutes away but since I had a friend traveling from the UK, I thought it would nice to be at the same hotel where she and her husband would be staying. In addition, Vince Brown our class president and coordinator had reserved a group of hotel rooms for the occasion at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana, CA. When I arrived about 4pm, I was informed that I had been booked for the night prior to the event and that not only was I being charged for that night, I did not have a room available for me to stay in. I was also told that if a room did become available, I would be charged for the additional night. I was shocked by the obvious mishap and lack of responsibility that the hotel took in fixing it.

Fortunately, I was able to change in my friends room before the event. When I told everyone what had occurred, they were equally offended about the stance that the hotel took in correcting the inaccurate scheduling. This has never occurred to me or anyone that I am associated with that have heard about this mishap. Had I not knew others that were there, my 40 year reunion would have had a disastrous result. I hope this policy will be reviewed and upgraded so that others don't have similar experiences in the future.

Embassy Suites receptionist - check in clerk

Saturday, September 29, 2018 at about 4:00 p.m.

In a discussion about the use of a credit card for incidentals ahead of time ($112.00), the clerk, Naomi, stated that I should 'know what to do about your damn credit card' when asked what the charging machine needed me to do at the point where I needed to indicate cancel or ok, and sign my name, and said '[censored] YOU' under her breath.

When asked to repeat what she said, Naomi ignored me, and when asked to get her manager, Naomi walked away.

Resolution: I would like to know that she has been terminated. I am an honors customer who visits with my Church at least 3 times a year for 1-2 nights at a time, and have NEVER had to deal with this level is disgusting conduct.

Please contact me if you have any questions, and to inform me of what is being donw as it will DEFINITELY influence my continued business with your hotel.

When asked, the manager (Scott?), did not know her last name, but stated that she is the only clerk with the first name, Naomi, and did not know the number to reach the corporate office. I had to look on the Internet and find that myself.

Embassy Suites lack of technical support

I normally never have a problem with Embassy Suites. Every thing has been clean etc. but my complain is something else. They advertised premium high speed WiFi for an extra amount of money and it's not even set up. They said the free and premium are the same speed and the premium isn't set up anyway which is just annoying. False advertising much? And also my brother brought his Nintendo switch and it doesn't have an actual web browser to set up the WiFi and I read online that the front office could help me with it and set it up. When I went up there, they said they don't deal with IT stuff in house? Which makes absolutely no sense to me why a hotel wouldn't deal with IT stuff in house but okay.

Embassy Suites graduation ring

Hello My name is April Ingram. I stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton International Airport on July 7th- checked out on the 9th. On July 8th, which was a Sunday I noticed that my graduation ring wasn't on the nightstand between the beds, nor on the dresser. So I looked on the floor, under the beds & everywhere & no where to be found. So I called front desk to tell them about my ring was missing & their housekeeping person was the only one who came to the room to deliver extra pillows that I'd requested. How strange my ring just freaking disappear after someone came to the room. Anyway, the manager on that shift his name is Brian Cardoza came to the room told me he will look at his log to see who entered the room. Of course when he returned, he came with a form asking me to write a statement and he will give it to the general manager & that it will be his decision about what to do. I was crying begging him to please get me back my ring, I worked hard for this ring. I let him know that this ring has sentimental value to me. It's my graduation ring. Besides what are they going to do with it, b/c it has my name on it. I checked out the next day on the 9th. Told him I will be back on the 13th & expect an answer b/c I was returning back to Miami from my cruise. Of course when I returned back, no ring & no resolution. He gave me a "discount" on the room but I let him know that this doesn't fix the problem. Oh Also, he told me to send him the receipt about how much my ring cost & I said ok. Since I've been back home to NYC, I have emailed Mr.Brian Cardozo & called Embassy Suites several times. I also sent the copy of receipt to Mr. Cardoza email like he asked me too. When I call Embassay Suite someone will say he's not their as yet & when I explained why I was calling, they would respond with send him an email and say I'm sorry then hang up. SORRY DOESN'T FIX THE PROBLEM. I JUST WANT MY RING PEOPLE. I BUST MY [censored] FOR THIS RING.
Description: It's has two colored stones Sapphire Blue (dec month color) & Yellow Topaz (Nov month color). My dad's birthday is in December & he died in December this is what the Blue stone represent & of course the topaz is mine. I just earned my Master's Degree in June of 2018 & I only had the ring for a few days before I departed for Miami from NYC on July 7th.

Embassy Suites my 7-21-18 through 7-23-18

There was raw sewage in the woman's bathroom by the pool, there was insanely noisy construction everywhere inside on the entire first floor... the pool wasn't maintained properly and a fire alarm went off at 2am and none of the employees new what was going on the elevator to the garage didn't work and they couldn't find my previously paid for reservation and me and my children couldn't get into our room for 4 hours after arriving to the hotel!

Embassy Suites bait & switch

I really resent illegal people coming to the U.S. They take American jobs they're not entitled to. I applied online for a job with human resources. They never informed me the job wasn't available anymore. Had I been Mexican and spoke fluent Spanish I bet I would have gotten the job. The woman who interviewed me was Mexican with an accent. She told me the position wasn't available anymore. I looked in the department and saw that they were ALL Mexican's, probably illegal, they couldn't speak English. She offered me a degrading room attendant position. I didn't take it. I don't appreciate the dishonesty in the hotel business. This is why they can't keep employees.
