A personalized blanked was delivered as a gift with the wrong birth date stitched on. When asking for a correction, Cindy simply blamed it on the gift giver and said she could produce another one for 20% off (plus shipping of course).
Whoever made the mistake, the correct customer service thing to do would be to correct it. The markup on these items are extravagant and it is unfortunate to have to throw product away because of a stitching error.
Just a reminder to deal with brick and mortar stores when dealing with items like this. It's harder to tell a potential customer it is an "as-is" sale with no recourse but the trash.
If you're doing business with elegantbaby.com be sure you're thinking of the transaction the same as you would on craigslist or ebay. I wouldn't call the gift "elegant" by any stretch of the imagination.
