Don't know why this company is labelled as "suspicious" on this site. The service I received was EXCEPTIONAL! I ordered a TV after being jerked around by two other sites that advertised on the internet (Prestige Camera and Digi Emporio, both "bait and switch" shops). Because I was wary (partially due to the suspicion generated here), I was was sort of a pain-in-the-butt, following up on my order frequently. However, the company was very easy to reach every time I called, and when I sent a question by e-mail, the manager personally called me back (immediately, twice) even though the office was closed. What service! Anyway, despite my fears, my TV arrived on time, and in fine condition. This is a store I would highly RECOMMEND for value prices on home electronics and reliable delivery.

Electrozone Review
After posting the review I was contacted by Electrozone and was appoligized to for the way things were done and promised that changes were being made. I believe that Electrozone is trying to become a better company and would possibly use them again in the future.

Electrozone is a rip off "company" that has taken my money and will not even return a telephone call or emails. Meanwhile I paid for a 70" Sharp TV and they have my money and I have my old TV for the holidays.

After purchasing on a Friday night a Samsung 46' LCD TV from ElectroZone online, I did not see the transaction on my online banking website. Monday morning someone from ElectroZone called me to confirm my purchase. He then went on to informing me that the TV I was about to buy was class A certified refurbished but that it was new. I asked him how that was possible and he explained that it was because they purchased the TV from another retailer but not to worry, IT WAS BRAND NEW. Impulsively, I purchased the TV because of it's great price and stupidity. After our conversation ended, I started to look for reviews online about ElectroZone and surprisingly enough, they are not customers favorite company...

A few days later I received my TV and at first glance it seemed fine to me so I signed off the papers with the moving company. After they left I peeled of the plastic around the frame and to my surprise, there were scratches and a crack in the frame. I received this TV Friday, March 3 around noon. I tried calling ElectroZone but I was being forwarded to a automated message telling me pretty much to call back during normal business hour. I immediately took out my camera and recorded video with date time and situation + documenting all damage to TV. I had to wait till Monday to call ElectroZone and when I did they told me that someone would contact me the next day to take care of the issue. No one did. Wednesday morning I spoke to JEFF and he tried to tell me he would pay me $75 plus give me 3 year warranty if I kept the TV. I refused and so he told me the moving company would call me to schedule a pick up. Right after this conversation I called my lawyer and spoke to him about this matter. He told me this was a clear BREACH OF WARRANTY and to reverse the transaction. I figured I would give Jeff one last shot on making things right so I called back and told him I want to see the money in my account before the TV is picked up. He said he can't do that but not to worry, as soon as they receive the TV they would return the money. I asked for him to CONFIRM THIS BY EMAIL, and he still has not. I also have still not heard from the moving company and it is March 15. I hope this matter is resolved within this week or I will have to go to Nevada and sue ElectroZone in court as well as file for FRAUD.

I place an order in 12-7-10 and recive 2/3 of it when you try to call you are the first caller in line not. If you see or come across the name ELECTROZONE run.I don't know how they can run bussiness like this one. The FBI, CIA should close them down and put them under the jail.

I recently completed a $ 4100 order with ElectroZone. There were absolutely no problems whatsoever. All three items, including a large 3D TV, shipped the next business day and arrived when promised in perfect condition. My credit card was charged the correct amount, including a promised disount, on the day after shipment. I had dealt with ElectroZone once before in July, 2010 with a $ 400 purchase and that transaction went smoothly as well. Anyone with questions is welcome to contact me via email at SteveRosenberg (at) aol.com.

I have just been a victim of Electrozone's bait and switch scam! I ordered a 52inch Samsung tv and received it today. When i opened the box i realised the product was refurbished! If that wasn't bad enough, there is now a red vertical line down the middle of the screen! I thought i did enough research into this company but obviously did not realise that their positive reviews are written by employees. I called tonight and was told to email Miriam. There was no offer to help at all. I have sent her a very angry email requesting a full refund, i wont be paying any 15% BS fee and I wont be paying for any shipping. Having read previous reviews, I look forward to being verbally abused by their staff tomorrow. I am so ready for these mutha's!

I believe I am in the middle of their scam and I just sick about it. Be very very careful. I just requested an RMA # for a defective refurbished item I just received. These people are scam artists. Their entire is business is based on "bait and switch". What a sham! I am so angry right now. I will update when I speak with them tomorrow.

Do not buy from Electrozone. My brother bought a tv from there based on the good price (Samsung 50" Plasma). When the tv arrived it was refurbished, something not mentioned at all on the product details when they bought it. Then less than a month later there was a black vertical bar across the right side of the tv. That is where the fun in trying to get this fixed began. I should also mention that they bought a 3 year warranty on the tv. Long story short, Samsung didn't want to cover it, Electrozone didn't want to cover it, but finally the warranty company ponied up cash to fix it but for some reason that then voided their warranty. They don't stand behind their products and will send you on a wild goose chase. My brother is in a wheelchair and can't really hang tv's or take them down, so them putting the responsibility on him to take the tv to a repair shop because a warranty supplied technician or samsung technician would not come out is ridiculous to me. If you buy a tv and it breaks, and you have a warranty, they should fix it plain and simple. It took 6 months to resolve this. Be very cautious with this place.

7/18/2010 I ordered a Samsung LN52A550 52 inch LCD TV from these guys. They had a great price with free shipping.

The first time I tried to use it, my TV had a problem with "power cycling". Apparently, after googling it, this is a well known defect in Samsung TV's because they used faulty parts a few years ago. The TV just starts clicking on and off.

I have sent Electrozone an email. I tried to call them but you can't leave a message. We'll see if they respond. I want to ship this hunk of junk back to them. If they come get it and give me my money back, I'll update this post with positive information. If they don't, I hope enough of you reading this will stay away from them.

I recently purchased a JVC camcorder and an additional battery from Electrozone. Received the camcorder without problem. But called two times and no battery received. I was told that the battery was lost during the mailing in the first call. In the second call, they told me that they would send the battery right away. One week later, I called again and was told that they had canceled my batter order. To be worse, they only refunded $39.99 instead of the $49.99 full price.

Another issue is that they use the pacific time. It is really hard to get hold of their customer services. The whole process was really frustrating. Would not recommend this store.

You don't understand? Really? I suggest you re-read the posts here. Many unscrupulous merchants don't cheat 100% of their customers, "just" many. If what you write is true (and I personally doubt it), you were lucky. I and others were *not*. I was not only not served, but insulted and verbally abused too.

Having said that I am tired of people like you praising electro-zone's legendary manager on a *complaint* board. Is he finally in danger of loosing his job? Time for another fake-positive review?

My advice to those who read this, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. It is *THE* WORST COMPANY I have ever dealt with in my life.

Wish I would have found these reviews prior to ordering.

I purchased a Samsung HL61A650 Series 6 61 inch DLP 1080p HDTV on 04.16.09. Its now 08.03.09, and at this point, I have come to terms with the fact that I got jacked by electrozone fraud. Upon ordering, it was indicated on the site that this was a new item, I called and confirmed this with their agents (who was excessively rude and continuously up selling me on every gadget on earth). It was again confirmed that this was a new item, in a factory sealed box being shipped from their Las Vegas Warehouse.

Upon receiving the TV, it was delivered by some 3-time felons more than 5 days late. It was delivered in a generic NON SAMSUNG box and came with all the documentation burnt onto a basic CDR. No manuals, no protective coverings, no indication that I got anything new at all.

The TV worked fine so I called to log a complaint. After 40 minutes on hold trying to register my complaint, my call was never compelted and I hung up, letting it slip through the cracks because the TV seemed fully operational.

They told me on two occasions that the TV was coming out of their Las Vegas Warehouse, when after further research with the shipping company, I found it was shipped from another location in New Jersey.

Now about 11 weeks later, the TV has stopped working, I am now forced to pay for the repair as they are not willing to assist at this point. Somehow, a TV with a 40, 000 MTBF, that breaks in 11 weeks is somehow my fault.

I buy EVERYTHING online, and this is one of the worst companies that I have ever done business with, absolutely, hands down, the worst. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS, They are a shady pawn job operation who sell refurbished crap as new. On the upside, thank god I purchased this with my AMEX, I have been in contact with them and they are currently looking into charge penalties and/or a partial refund for the obvious misleading sales tactics and fradulent.

I am pleased to report that one day after I posted the above report, ElectroZone gave me a full refund. Based on my experience with them, I would still not recommend conducting business with them.

STOP! www.electrozone.com runs a Bait and Switch outfit and yes, they pad their reviews to keep them high! They bait people by advertising low prices on items that are advertised as “new” but they are actually selling refurbished items at a high price. After I placed an order for a Samsung LN46A550 I got an email asking me to call them to confirm the details of the order.
Side note: the Electrozone price was $1, 099 for a NEW LN46A550, the Amazon price at that time was $1, 150 for the same TV in NEW condition. Other website including Amazon were selling used, open box, refurbished … TVs for $800 to $1000.
After about a week, I did not call them so they called me and said that the TV I ordered was “new” but needed to be labeled as refurbished because of some technical reason. I told them I did not care how it was labeled as long as it was NEW, and in its original unopened packaging! They said it was “new” and would be shipped directly from Samsung so I, like a foolish person, placed the order.
The TV arrived about 9 days later and it WAS NOT NEW, not in its original packaging, and looked (I could only see the top of the TV from the outside of the box) like it had been used. I called Electrozone immediately and was transferred to Luis who said to open it and test it out. I told him I ordered a NEW TV and would not except anything less. He said I could refuse the delivery and he would refund the full amount so I did. Well, it has been 9 days and still no refund! I called today and Luis said I should see it by Monday (five days from now). I will update this review after I receive a full refund.

In my considered opinion, www.electrozone.com is a very unprofessional company. Rude too. They've got everything wrong with my order twice. I was yelled at and talked over by their store general manager and called "a nasty small person", when attempted to solve the issues. Stay away, the amount you save is not worth the aggravation. Please also keep in mind that Electrozone works hard on padding their reviews.

Do not purchase from these people. Every positive review on this site has been created by electrozone reps. They are getting served next week by the FBI regarding fraudulant activities. I know this from first hand experience. They have sent me two defective TV's and the last one had been sent to Samsung service multiple times and then deemed un-repairable. There entire business is a scam. Do not buy . Consider yourself warned
