Non replacement of damaged microwave oven--Model No 18EG70

I purchased one microwave oven on 03.02.2008 with full payment in cash from "Great Eastern Trading Co, 277/2/1,B.T.Road(Sinthimore),Kolakata-700036...Cash memo no-C6117.

The Sales Executive of the store Mr.Sujoy,the store manager & staffs of the shop told me that the machine will be delivered next day,i.e. on 04.02.08 & within next 5 days the service engineer will visit your residence for demonstration of the machine & how to operate.

FYI-On 5th Feb'08 evening I got the machine & after repeated followup with "Great Eastern Staffs"-phn no 25329117/9118/9119/9120,on 15th Feb'08 the service engineer came to my home for demo of my machine..
He tried for a long time to start the machine,but he couldn't.Ultimately he declared that it is damaged & certain parts of it needs to be replaced.I told the serv engnr that I will not keep a machine with repaired parts from the very begining rather you have to replace it with a fresh one.He infrmed me to contact the shop.
I immediately contact your shop through telephone nos 25329117/9118/9119/9120, on 15.02.08 & personally visited the next day & ask for the replacement of my machine.
Mr.Sujoy,the shop manager & other staff from 17th Feb'08 onward is telling me that both "Great Eastern Co"&"Electolux Com" is out of stock of the "model no 18EG70".It will take 10 days to get the replacement.
I again contacted Great Eastern Co on 29.02.08 & on 03.03.08..This time they told me that you have to wait till march end to get the replacement as Electolux has produced only one machine of the same model or else you can take some other model/some other company's brand also with extra price or with reduced price..Now my question is-

After waiting for 37days why I will replace it with other model & with extra price????

Who will pay me back the interest of Rs.4600/-(price of the machine)which is blocked since 03.02.08????..I have given the payment on 03.02.08 itself & the shopkeeper is enjoying the benefit depriving me(the customer)..

Its only me who is contacting the shop for latest updation & the Great Eastern Co is least bothered to help me out.Why it will happen???

Today morning I tried to contact Mr.Sutanu basu over phn no-32931326,but the no was not contactable.Also today I called up at 25441176/1186,authorised serv centre of Electolux,& has informed the same to Ms.Swati Chakraborty..She informed me that'it is not in our hand. You need to contact the head office- Mr.Niranjan Shah at 32931326'.

Today is 10th march'2007,already 37days gone since I purchased the machine,and we have reached the extreme limits of our patience.
I am extremely dissatisfied & perturbed with both 'Electrolux Co' & 'Great Eastern Trading Co'.

FYI- I was attached with Nestle I Ltd for 10 years & currently I am attached with Hongkong Bank..

Ultimately I decided to raise the issue to you..Hope you people will resolve it within 72 hours..Or else I have to escalate it to 'Consumer forum'.
