Electric sam / Bad service

I feel like I was cheated by this company. Before I ordered a camera, Cannon SD 400, I called the Electric Sam salesman and asked if this product was in stock. He told me if it was listed online as available it was in stock.

Seeing that the camera was available I ordered on July 1st. They sent me confirmation right away. I waited for a tracking number for awhile but never got it. I left numerous emails but got no response.

Finally, July 14 I called the service department and a lady named Jessica said that the reason I hadn't received a tracking number was because they didn't have the camera in stock.

Being a little upset, I told her to cancel my order. Without any apology she said "no problem."

About 2 weeks later, after I bought my camera from another company online, I got an email from Electric Sam saying they had shipped my camera.

I called service to explain my situation and was told there was nothing they could do, the product was shipped already. I asked for the manager and his answer was that I would have to accept the camera or send it back and pay a 20% restocking fee.

I again gave him the name of the person I canceled the order with along with the date, but he said that's not possible because I didn't have a cancelation number. I asked if it was possible she forgot to cancel my order and he said no, not possible.
That's the type of management they have at Electric Sam.
