bus service sucks
The second 22:00 bus of 01 Oct 2017: Eldo Coaches Sucks! it's not far from being the next "Road Link". I took the 22:00pm bus from durban to jhb, it was supposed to arrive at jhb at 04:55am but NOOOOO we only got there at 11:00 am, it got stuck just after Mariannhill Toll gate, Lost my interview. The engine was dead, fumes were every where inside the bus and we had to wait for another bus at 1:15am at nyt in the middle of the bush. the next bus only arrived 3 hours later.
The second time, the toilets were not cleaned/ flushed of urine, from jhb to durban the bus smelt like a toilet. we couldn't eat or drink in such conditions; and when we got off we smelt like urine.
The third time the bus got stuck in Heidelberg and we had to wait for another bus to come collect us, apparently it overheated.
Lastly the busses are always late for collection.
Worst service EVER! will NEVER recommend it to anyone.
adding to that there were kids in that 22:00 o'clock bus, one of them is my 11 month old son!
toilet smelling like [censor]
My partner is currently traveling on the bus that left Johannesburg to cape town this morning at 11h30am.
The bus toilet is smelling so bad like [censor]. The driver just don't care about his complaint passengers. This smell is so unbearable and disgusting that paying customers should go through this for hours.
We want a full refund for our money

I'm Currently in a bus to East London. My daughter is sitting by the window and we realised that there was a dripping and reported to the driver. He then promised to look at it which he didn't. We then fell asleep only to wake up soaking wet. We went to show the driver who became very rude and aggressive. He told me that I am reporting to the wrong person.
My understanding is that this bus I a replica of sa road link and I will make sure that I get it reported to every platform as I can see that there has been many complaints on hello Peter and nothing is improving. We cannot be treated like we have not paid. My laptop is wet now I have an extra 4000to pay just because you are driving minibus Taxis and your drivers behave as such.
Another thing there was an epileptic girl in the bus. We asked the driver to switch off the air-con they didn't even care to do that let alone checking what was going on in the bus.
assault by a disgusting bus driver
I need to report assult by one of your very rude bus drivers - this is an emergency - he tore my plastic and broke my nail while tackling me for my secondary luggage which I clearly stated I wanted to keep with me as I had on the first bus I took from Durban. He then started shouting obscenities at me and embarrassing me in front of the other passengers - he closed the door on me and his erractic behaviour is unjustifiable and consistent with someone who is not fit to safely drive a bus full of passengers - this man needs to be held liable for his disgusting behaviour - he is either intoxicated or on something else to be behaving in this manner. The police need to apprehend this driver.
eldo coaches are not looking after their buses properly
Its not the first time that this has happened, eldo coaches are not looking after their buses properly. If they not having a break down, its waiting for another bus, or they over booked. Its unreal! We think that they are nice buses and we always use them, but if they are giving us these kind of problems, we should all boycott them!!! Last year I travelled...

I like this bus. I use it frequently between Grahamstown and Pretoria . Please put the plastic bags for waists. And heaters. The one I use today from Johannesburg to Grahamstown is extremely cold. The charging stations in the chairs doesn't work at all.

Eldo bus was suppose to leave Kleksdorp 17:55 ariving in Welkom 19:25.
After many calls to the call centre I was informed ona all the calls the bus is onroute to Carletonville... 20h00 The bus which supose to have left the destination wasnt even at the pick up point... Next day, I sent a e mail for a refund (as we didnt use the service) my e mail was ignored and also anothe 2 e mails...
I have used most bus lines in South Africa but this was the worst..
