eglobal wireless Rip Off/Scam

This site is a complete rip off. I purchased a pan-digital android on Nov 16th and still haven't received it. I have attempted to contact the seller numerous time and can never get an answer.
However, it didn't take them long to take the money out of my account!
Guess I'll eat this one

This site is truly a complete rip off! I purchased 2 Android tablets for my children for Christmas. When I placed the order, "Brian" informed me the the tablets only came with 20 minutes worth of battery life and he suggested I pay $20 for additional battery life. This battery life should have been good for at least 3 hours. Well when the tarts arrived I powered them up to only see 20 minutes worth of battery life. I immediately call "Brian" back for him to tell me to let the battery charger overnight. Well I did that and the battery life was only increased by 10 minutes. So I then went on the website to contact their online customer support. It took 2 days for the online line customer support to email me and ask what was I using the tablet for. I told them it didn't matter what the tablets were used for and what did that have to do with the battery life? They emailed me back with a phone number to contact "Brian" for a refund. Well, the direct number he gave me to "Brian" and of course the number didn't work. I've tried to reach the several times afterwards, left several message with no return call. On two days after Christmas my daughter is not able to power the device on. I now have to find a way to replace both tablets so my children will have an enjoyable Christmas.

eglobal wireless faulty equpment

i purchased a netbook! i got my equipment on time but, the computer would not get a full charge and its very dificult to connect to wifi if your more then 200 ft. away from a router you can forget it. when i did finally connect to the internet the connections was very slow...i returned my computer 3 weeks ago and have still yet to see my money on my account...I do suggest that nobody gets this computer it's not worth more than $40 at the most and then again if you do get it..please make sure its for your kids 10 and under... yea the computer is that bad... NETBOOK 7" SUCKS..AND THE OWNERS HAVE POOR SERVICE

RMA#[protected] was sent 5/26/11 recieved the return ok.BUT sharma has me disconnected with your remote computer. is there a way that she can be informed of my situation I've tried speaking & calling & going through the channel like EGLOBALWIRELESS/SUPPORT.COM.. and she avoids & disconnects me this has been going on for more than 7 mo this is arude thing on her part may some one help me get her to help me i've got nothing against miss sharma i, m a christian and i'd like my mini 7 working again.thank you for your time.

I have one of these computers (Eglobal Smart book)
. I have connected to my wireless at home and at a commercial establishment. In neither case was I am to connect to any ISP. I got a message that said "This page cannot be displayed The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings. Cannot find server or DNS Error Internet Explorer." I have tried multiple ISPs each time I have been connected to the Internet with the same results. What do I need to do? Thanks.

eglobal wireless Email Erik..He Will Respond!

I must say that my shippment was delayed just like everyone else. BUT IF YOU EMAIL ERIK ([protected]@eglobalwireless.com) HE WILL RESPOND.

Eglobal Wireless is a REAL company, who just got overwhelmed with holiday orders and they were not staffed for the rush. After emailing with Erik, I can tell he is answering emails around the clock, so know I understand why the phone or chat was not avaliable.

They are so over whelmed with orders that they are usually only responding via email. After calling and waiting on hold, I decided to send an email and Erik responded IMMEDIATELY!

So, then I emailed sales and support and they also responded immediately. It was awesome, I was given a tracking number and my two netbooks arrived yesterday just in time for Christmas!

My daughter bought me one of their tablets for my birthday in January. It did arrive on time for my birthday...surprise, surprise! When I got it charged up I could not download anything from the android market place, and the usb hub was defective. I didnt have any trouble getting it to connect to the web however. One of her co workers could not connect to the web but had no trouble with the marketplace. We finally sent it back and it was recieved on Feb. 1, 2012. After 2 weeks of waiting for her money to be returned, she got a lousy fifty some dollars back on a purchase of almost $200. She can NOT get any reply from them nor will they take phone calls. SHe is going through her credit card to dispute this. I find it rather offensive that these people can not do a better job of standing behind their products. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM AT ALL!

I ordered 2 tablets on 12/6/11, I have left 7 messages and many emails. My order shows as shipped, however I only received 1 of the 5 items I ordered, of course the item I received was not for my childrens christmas. My order was not shipped until 12/16/11.

I ordered 2 net-books from the as well on 12/16/11, I have since been trying to contact them and with no success have not been able to speak to anyone, their live chat is b/s as it always shows they are offline, I have not received one response to my voice mails nor any of the many emails I have sent requesting and update, I just need to find out if the will be shipping my order or not, I have already sent 2 emails to Erik today, if I do not get a response today I will contact my bank and request a cancellation on the payment, if I am not going to get the products I ordered from this company then I want my money back I have 5 kids and $186 is a lot for me to lose!

A. Did you peel off the screen protector? Sometimes slight scratches may be visible on the screen protector however the screen will be perfect once removed.
B. What is your order number so I may better assist you?

I cam only tell you my current experience : I am requesting a full refund on 5 computers as I type this. The computers were jammed into a flat rate box and it could not even close. Open the flat rate box and the boxes which are suppose to be brand new computers were cut or broken. The computers were then opened in the box ...each one and the screens are scratched on several of them. I am requesting a full refund and not a 25% restocking fee even if their website states it. I feel I gave your company good service and bought your so called good merchandize and expect to received products in good condition. They are not 4 of 5 are damaged. I believe that your site in not within the law becuase any business purchase can be cancelled within 3 buisness days from purchase but that means after you received the product. My mechandise was defective ...that means your selling and sipping defective mechandise to me. I did contact your chat online and they told me the phone lines are down till futher notice. Requested a mailing address and they stated they could not give me one. I live in Florida and I called information and got a phone number and it is not that its not working ...it is so full with callers msg that you cant leave one.

Sounds like your company was not ready for this business to grow like this. You need to get your business to hire more employees other than one chat person... shipping dept needs to learn to put more packing material in the boxes and use bigger boxes after all your keeping 25% stocking fee on returns. Your going to return these 5 computers to manufactor and make money on them and make money on the customer also. That is my personal opinion. But then I am contacting my credit card company also since they issue the credit to your compnay. Oh yeah i would like a return call thru my email soon or I will be forced to go to BBB and state attorney office for consumer fraud if you do not contact me.

Thank you and have a nice day... I have 5 little children disappointed becuase your company was trying to skimp on packaging material and therefore the items were damaged in shipping or sent defective as returns some else sent back to you.

I think you are misunderstanding our policy. Exchanges for defective units are 100% free! If you choose to return it for a refund, yes it will be less 25% as clearly stated on our return policy.

Returns

If your item arrives defective upon receiving it, we will gladly replace your item free of charge. Return shipping cost is the buyers’ responsibility. If you choose to return an item anyway, please be advised you will be assessed a 25% restocking fee to cover our shipping and marketing cost.

Indicate your preference for exchange or refund. Credit card refunds may be made only to the same card used for the original purchase.
Please note: Refund processing can take up to 2 weeks.

The item must be in saleable condition when sending it back for a refund or an exchange. The return authorization number must be clearly marked on the outside of the box next to the return address. i have an issue with the fact that instead of making a phone call to explain how to get your product working you tell me that your phones are down and to go to the support center so that i can pay to ship your broken product back and pay 25% restocking fee for you to not even refund my money. now that is what i have the issue with.

eglobal wireless 7 & netbook wireless notebook

Yes, this is a scam. I placed my order Dec 12, 2010 and my credit card was charged immediately and that was the end of it! No product delivered in time for Christmas. I just got off the phone with Wells Fargo and it will take 60 days to get my credit card refunded. Whatever. WF will contact the merchant who processed my VISA card and do the dispute through them which should produce some results. I indicated it would be no use to call them directly as there is no one there...as we have all seemed to discover. Hopefully the merchant will shut down their ability to process credit cards which will put them out of business. Funny that there is someone around to process charges and steal our money but no one to put our product in the mail. I keep picturing that commercial with the bearded guy in Siberia named Peggy running a scam. There really are people out there doing that! If I find a legitimate bargain out there (checked out of course) I will let you all know.

The funny thing is, these idiots did the same thing to us, but we called our bank and got our money credited back and our bank had MANY complaints with this company. We had our account cancelled and changed. Well, these [censored] people shipped our computer anyway, like 20 days after the supposed arrival date. We got it, but they didnt get their money. Karma is a [censored]. Good luck getting your products or your money back! We may have received ours BUT... as of now, the computer wont establish a wi-fi connection no matter what we do, the mouse is extremely difficult to operate, and there is NO name on the unit. It just keeps showing a "dial up" message. Anyway, I was able to get a different phone number for the company by calling 411 and using their shipping adress for the info. It says it was shipped from Coconut Creek FL. Here is the number I was given (the phone rang and rang, then a regular ole answering machine came on first in English then in Spanish). [protected]. There was NO mention of the company what so ever. I left my name and number but I seriously doubt anyone will call. I am going to let a professional look at the unit and see what he or she thinks before I decide whether to keep it or send it back. Good luck to everyone and I am sorry we were all basically robbed by these people. I pray it works out for us all!

honey good luck we have all had our money stolen if you google the address to this company 7523 silverwoods ct Boca raton fl...33433 you will see a picture of the house with boxes in the garage his real name is yanki hofstetter...we all have been scammed contact as many agencies as you can so we can shut them down Federal trade commission...attorney generals office and bbb and this link you can also make a complaint with the fbi on their website we have them listening...http://www.fraud.org/ is another organization you can report to...we have these people listen you need to be heard...theese people are ripping so many people off they need stopped

I also got scammed...they have a facebook page and a myspace can you imagine how many of us are loosing our money...dont know about all of you but i wont stop till they are shut down...get on facebook and report them and myspace...make a complaint with the fbi on their website...call the federal trades commission they are listening they said there is numerous reports. the cell phone number that i found on another site that people are getting ahold of him is [protected] i looked it up its out of brookly ny...everyone says his name is jay...we all need to do something...we are all getting scammed

im in the same boat. i have also been told mine needed a wifi card. please everyone report this. i also will not stop until this company is taken down. too manypeople have lost money for me to give up the fight. please spread the word.

This is a very bad product. Mine said you need a wi fi card or internet card to get the wireless internet. That wasn't mentioned in the ad for the mini laptop. I figured the laptop may be a little cheap for the price I was getting but I had no idea just how cheap. The mouse will not work if you have the slightest bit of moisture on you finger. I have a large laptop and that isn't the case with it. I think this is a cheap product and it's a lot cheaper than what you think you're getting into. No wonder there is a 'restocking fee'.

I am joining the crowd. I bought a netbook on January 11, 2011 for my daughter's birthday. When I received it I plugged it in to charge it. When charged, I disconnected the adapter and saw one of the pins remaining in the outlet. My daughter was disgusted with the book because the wifi did not work and I was also disappointed. I should have obeyed my instincts and researched this company, but I goofed. I am with you all the way so let's see if the ### would change his restocking policy and offer us a full refund for these defective items he's selling.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY... Was scammed. We purchased the mini netbook for my 7 yr old son for his christmas present. Needless to say the product does not work.. I can't get in touch with them they haven't responded to any emails or refund ticket. The phone numbers don't work and never an online chat rep.

so many people are complaining about this company...i ordered a netbook for $99 was suppose to be shipped within 24 to 48 hours...not been shipped...so looked on the computer to see if it was a real company found so many bad reviews of people not getting what they ordered...so tried to call the company...you get a recording no one calls you back...i got the direct email...I wrote him and told him i was calling the bbb i wanted a full refund... he informed me that he was in good standing with the bbb...no he is not they rate the company as a f...then he told me i had to confirm again i wasnted to cancell my order how many times do you have to tell this guy...if you ordered from them call your bank and the bbb...

If thats true erik you would be more than happy to refund people their full amount of money no questions asked...do you understand people have ordered theese as christmas gifts for our children...look at your own guarantees posted on your face book you guarantee 100% customer satisfaction... if you didnt have new merchindise on hand to send out you should have shut down your web page or said they were out of stock not take peoples money ...then tell us there is a 25%restocking fee for what you didn't have in the first place...you also guarantee on your facebook a 30 day money back guarantee...i only got part of my money back from you the bank gave me the rest...thats why me and others wont stop until you are shut down...this is fraud...whats your definition of fraud erick?

I got all my money back call your bank dispute the charges...I paid the company 119.89 they refunded my bank back 74.99 the bank refunded the rest ...theese people are crooks...Google the address 7523 silverwoods ct...Boca Raton Florida33433...after i sent him an email i had all his personal information he refunded part of my money they are crooks stay away from this company at all cost...if you have paid by a credit card cancell that credit card...His name is Yanki Hofstetter his wifes name is robyn...make a complaint to the FBI on their website call the federal trade commission...get a hold of your local attorney generals office...just because i got my money back I wont stop fighting till someone does something about this company... theese post are not lies we are all real people that lost our money... some of us have great banks that care what happens to us...thank god I got my money back some people are not that fortunate

SCAM! NEW 7" Android 2.2 WIFI Touch Screen Tablet 2GB HD w/ Camera, where to start. eGlobal Wireless is the biggest scam site on the internet. do your research. I bought this tablet thinking I got a good deal what I got was headache a piece of crap from China and an annoying un-authorized sales person trying to high pressure me into extra warranties and accessories. When I got got my tablet, it was damaged. I wonder if this is because i did not buy any upsells. (very coincidental) Here is where it gets fun, when I try to call I can never get through, I get the run around from a robot. I wait on live chat for over and hour then had to leave to get back to work. When I try to get a return authorization, I get forced to accept their terms for a 25% re stocking fee!

This NEW 7" Android 2.2 WIFI Touch Screen Tablet 2GB HD w/ Camera does not work, my friend got one with a perfect screen, but did not work. They pray upon people with their fancy legit looking website. stay away from eGlobal Wireless! You have been Warned!

EGlobal Wireless scammed me out of two netbooks in December. Got my money back from my bank but now EGlobal is trying to dispute. Cannot believe it. Everyone scammed by Eglobal Wireless should go to Ic3.gov and file a formal complaint.

Just got riped off as well. This eric guy is a total scam artist. I had my card charged and I never even choose to purchase the mini netbook. When my bank sent me a text message stating that my card had been charged I looked up there customer service number and got directed to the fake 1800 number. I will be contacting the FBI in the morning.

C Coffee contact your bank or credit card company they will help you with getting your money back. I had the direct line to that Eric guy as well and he couldn't help me and told me to keep calling customer service. He said they were super busy cause Christmas well even after my bank got my money refunded I called which was about 2 weeks ago and guess what still now answer. It's just a stupid recording that always hangs up on you after it says there busy what crap. Good luck. You will get what your do back your bank will take the steps for you. Oh yeah also write the Florida Attorney General they are investigating the company. Also they have 2 websites. Eglobalwireless.com and eglobalelectronics.com same customer service number for both. I told the attorney general all this as well. Take care.

Erik and Eglobal are a ripoff! Same story same dance. Mini laptop didn't even pull up WIFI. Shipped after about 3 weeks which may be quick for my order. Sent it back but got no confirmation. Never return money and has been charging me for a supposed "free" membership on my credit card at least 3 differant times. Watch that one as well. I have repeatedly told them to credit me and take the charges off the memberships and they have never once taken my request.

I too got taken in by this scam. At first they ignored my order. After i comp[lained by email (no one answers a phone there) I was told it was due to heavy holiday buying. A day later i canceled my order. Now they claim I can not cancel an order and they shipped it anyway. 25% restocking fee for a return. Funny thing is my tablet works, sort off. it keeps jumping into chinese as its language and it took four tries to get it to recognize my wifi id address. I'm no techie but this piece of crap should be outlawed and I am filing a complaint with the Florida consumer protection agency and BBB.

Well it is now 2011 and I did not see these posts until I stupidly placed an order. I got my package but neither item works. This is a total crock of crap. No one answers the phone. I have a direct line to the jerk that called me to add the 2 year plan to it and he say he transfers me and I go nowhere and get hung up on. I'm going to my bank and local law to have this resolved. I'm in it a lot now. MAN OH MAN I MUST BE AN IDIOT>>>>>>>>>

I could not get a response after two weeks of trying to return a defective mini-notebook so I finally just called my credit card company to dispute the defective items and got my money back.

I was scammed by them too. I purchased a $99 notebook. They called and sold me a $30 upgrade. I received a dead notebook and returned it. It cost me $10 to return it and luckier that most of their victims, they did refund me part of my money. I still lost $78 in the transaction.

I ordered and paid for a netbook for $99.00 on November 29th from www.eglobalwireless.com and paid $2.90 for shipping to be from 3-5 business days. ...
I ordered the NEW 7" Mini Netbook Laptop Notebook WIFI Windows Black Price: $99.99 plus the $3.00 for 3-5 day shipping, and the $2.90 processing on Nov 29th 2010... It is now December 10th 2010 and I checked out the website for the shipping information which shows:

I then decided to research and see if this purchase was a scam – too many results populated telling me that YES this was in fact a scam. I am now filing a report to the BBB and Complaintsboard.com… If this isn’t resolved by the end of business today, the complaints are going in.

I so upset with my self bc I never research this company.. and I should of know better.. but I'm really upset bc I keep calling this company and all I get is these machines .. at first I was nice with it but now I'm getting on these massages... this is the first firt this happen to me what should I do...

I ordered the same Note-book March 9, 2013 and it did not work. I got the same results as the customer above, being kept on the line for as much as a hour at a time day after day with the same messages and the phone just cuts off. I don't know where to return it and how to get my money back. Can anyone give me any advice?

I am having the same problems. I ordered a netbook on the Dec 13th and payment was cleared on the 13th. My order has yet to be sent. I've been contacting this company for days now and have heard nothing in return. I pulled up the BBB and got in touch with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. They told me to file a complaint on this website 800helpfla.com

I think Eric is also known as Shawn at a company out of Boca Raton Fla. - Prosource Wireless Llc. Google that name. Check out the netbook. Then read the tipster reviews! Not the reviews on their website. Same sad story. Contact your bank and report it as bank fraud. These things are wireless meaning they have NO WIRES. I don't know which is worse the frustration of waiting on your product or getting it and realizing you have been taken. I am going to get to the bottom of this. Just an angry Grandmother with lots of time and on her hands. I will speak with my attorney this morning and post EVERY avenue of recourse we can take.

I ordered a netbook in June for my son's birthday. It came in a flimsy enevelope and just the box and it was damaged and didn't work. I had to pay eight dollars to ship it back to them . It then took them a couple of weeks to send me another one. Which again didn't work. I then had to pay another eight dollars to ship it back. I asked for a refund and was told it was now to late to recieve a refund back. I have a $99.00 dollar credit with this company and haven't used it yet. I'm afraid that what I order will be sent damaged and end up costing me money to return. I will never do business with this company ever. Shame on you for taking advantage of people and yes my son was so upset that his big present was damaged. He never did end up with a netbook.

According to Coconut Creek Police & the 17th District Attorney (Florida), you file a formal complaint with your local police dept and they will be in contact with detctives from Broward County to file charges. If you have been scammed by this company please do so to get rid of businesses like eglobalwireless!

Just like all other complaints, I was taken for $352.07! My payment for 3 netbooks cleared my account 11/1/10 and as of today 2/1/11 Erik has done nothing to help me! Same run around as everyone else! If this is not a scam, as Erik states, then its pure THEFT! I am in the process of contacting his state's attorney to file charges. I will post who to contact when I get to the bottom of it and help all you others who have been ripped off too!

eglobal wireless Netbook 7 inch

I ordered this netbook on Monday December 6, 2010. I have my order number and all, according to the website it suppose to take 24 to 48 hours to be shipped from the warehouse. The netbook hasn't been shipped at all and then when I try to contact someone I can't never talk to someone.

I also purchased netbook in December we sent it back cost my soninlaw $15 still doesnt work! They sent battery charger still not working if I send it back I will loose another $15 dollars plus I payed warrenty for something that will never work! They are very hard to contact! Rude also

Eventually, the BBB will warn future customers in advance that the product does not work. The fact that you charge 25% restock, refuse to refund insurance money and do not pay for return postage are reason enough to stay away.
The website shows nothing but positive feedback for the product. That is not true as I have attempted to post low ratings but they never showed up, false advertising. (all anonymous posters)
It should be noted that your company in New York has been given the lowest BBB rating. BBB just haven't figured out you moved to Florida.
Note: I tried two different machines, first would not hold a charge, second could not reach internet unless it was 10 feet from the router. Returned both at my expense. Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice, shame on me.

Update: I filed a complaint with BBB of Florida. They dropped my case saying the business responded properly.
They obviously are not checking more than the basic info, which eglobal preys on.
I will not waste my time with BBB again.

Thanks for the response. I can understand your frustration, I really do. If you can push aside this frustration, and work with me, I will resolve your issue. If your netbook is not working for whatever reason, wouldn't you like to exchange it for a new working one? My goal is for you to be happy. I am on your side!

In regards to the netbook, we did not do anything wrong, we fully disclose the specs of it on the product page. I do apologize if you did not take the time to read and understand what you are purchasing.

Yes I agree. And erick the only way you can help me is to come clean, give me back all my money, and not have a piece of crap that you are trying to sell to people who think theyre getting a quality product. this is obsurd and I wish this wasnt the only way to get in touch with the ### but it is. i know we can make things happen if we try it may take a bit of time but we will do it. you are unable to resolve your issue, please feel free to submit a ticket to our RETURNS dept. We will gladly exchange any defective merchandise. Thanks for your understanding.

a return ticket? so i can pay a 25 percent restocking fee!? no thanks 'erick' Ill just keep the computer if thats what you want to call it, as evidence for my claim. i hope you have a stress free day on complaints board trying to save your reputation. obviously with the amount of people that are complaining and threatening you youd get the hint but apparently you really seem to be a cold hearted crook.

and still amazes me that everyone whoes contacted them for help calling wise has still been told the "phones are down". what companies phones are down wayy after christmas which was when their "big rush" was. its now almost a month after. use the 25% restocking fees people have probably paid to salvage some money to fix the damn phone lines and help your costumers out.

i agree! im afraid to send mine back for a "working device" because who knows if i'll even get anything back. and dont worry i have reported this fraud. hopefully something will get done about it so that more people dont get screwed over. and i wish they would understand that their "knowledgebase support center" obviously isnt very helpful if we've turned to complaintboards.com.

Mine says you need a wireless card too! I think it's hilarious how they pose these laptops off as ready for wireless but the internet company says they need internet cards! Please go to the BBB on this ### with all of your complaints. Even though this is the only way you can get through to 'erick' please report this fraud immediately.
