I ordered and paid for a netbook for $99.00 on November 29th from www.eglobalwireless.com and paid $2.90 for shipping to be from 3-5 business days. ...
I ordered the NEW 7" Mini Netbook Laptop Notebook WIFI Windows Black Price: $99.99 plus the $3.00 for 3-5 day shipping, and the $2.90 processing on Nov 29th 2010... It is now December 10th 2010 and I checked out the website for the shipping information which shows:

So I call the [protected] for customer service and the outgoing announcement says: we are currently experiencing heavy call volumes and all agents are busy assisting other customers at this time, we apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing you, please call back at another time, Good Bye” and hung up on me.
I tried their online chat and after 45 minutes of waiting these messages finally stopped:

I then decided to research and see if this purchase was a scam – too many results populated telling me that YES this was in fact a scam. I am now filing a report to the BBB and Complaintsboard.com… If this isn’t resolved by the end of business today, the complaints are going in.

    100% accurate complaint, I'm experiencing the same run around regarding the same product. Why these people are not shut down is amazing.

    This is an aweful company. I had the exact same problems..then when I told them I wanted my money back since they didn't ship it out or i'm disputing it w/ my cc. They all of a sudden the next day said they couldn't give my money back b/c they shipped the product. WHICH when I got it...doesn't work. Now I want to send it back but I saw some other complaints saying that the company acts like they never get it back and then doesn't give your money back. I'm gonna stick w/ disputing w/ my credit card company and hopefully get my money. Maybe if they see all these complaints they will se I have been scammed!

    I agree I did exaclty what you did 3-5 shipping days plus the shipping insurance I cannot get in touch with anyone regarding a tracking number. I have tried the telephone and chat function several times the chat for hours. So I have entered a dispute with my CC company as well to investigate fraud. This is utterly ridiculous.

    We have a less then 1% complaint ratio VS the amount of volume we do in sales. As a company we are ok with that number. It is impossible to make everyone happy, but it is possible to make most, which is our current status. We are in good standing with the BBB online, we have an "A" ratingwe resolve every issue and every complaint. Things do go wrong from time to time, but we believe how problems are handled is what separates the business's that last, and the shady fly by night ones that don't. In the end, it's your choice. We offer products at the lowest possible prices and offer 5 star service.

    I personally will resolve any issue.

    I too have just been taken for two of the 7" laptops. The same exact story as the people who posted here. They claim to have excellent customer service and its just a scam because no one answers anywhere. I made my purchase on Dec 8, 2010 and to this date the item has not been shipped. They are quick to process payment but not to ship. On top of that they charge you a fee for priority processing...JA! Priority processing...what is a priority to them...two weeks from the date the order was placed. I am letting you know eglobal wireless that if i do not get a refund or the item in working order and good condition this week I will post a video and a complaint in every social page if find including youtube to let other people know of the scam you are running. I will also place a complaint with the BBB. Thanks to your wonderful company two little girls will be left with no christmas presents. What a wonderfuld thing to do! Have a merry christmas thiefs!!!

    I purchased two 7" netbooks on December 1, 2010. As of yet, my order has yet to be shipped. You cannot get in contact with anyone, and I am ready to take my complaints forward. These people know exactly why we are ordering these netbooks. I guess when my daughter wakes up on Christmas without the one thing she wants the most, I am going to tell her "Sorry order still unshipped!" This is a very unprofessional way to conduct business, and if I do not have my two brand new, working properly netbooks or my money back in my account by next week, I am filing a complaint with the BBB and letting every blog I can access know how poor the customer service of this company is.

    I am having the same situation as the rest of you. I orderd two have been charged on my credit card and have not recieved the computers. I have sent e-mail called and tried online chat and nothing has worked!!!

    I too fell for this, i contacted amazon.com to have them remove this website from their advertisements, and also contacted my local news and reported them to the internet crime complaint center. Contact your bank and get your money back, dont give this scam place any of your money...do not try to cancel your order, and if it comes do not accept it...

We are expereincing higher than expected volume and we are understaffed, we are working overtime to process and fullfill the orders. The last thing we want is to ruin a family's Christmas, I am a parent also and fully understand whats at stake.

    your kidding me right? if you are understaffed and your products arent in then you say OUT OF STOCK! Or you send out an email stating that things are backed up...or you DONT CHARGE A PERSONS CREDIT CARD BEFORE AN ITEM IS SHIPPED! and i have NEVER EVER seen a 25% cancellation fee with a "no cancellation during holiday rush...i call BS!

    I must admit my struggle with getting my order has been challenging to say the least and an exact mirror image experience as everyone else up to this point. Order placed on Nov. 29th, and no evidence of shipping for days. I called and called and called for DAYS with no answer, I did the on line-representative wait til no end with not a single answer and I submitted service requests through the on-line system. Two days after my service request (Dec 9th) I received a response email from a representative letting me know a shipment was received that morning. He said they were doing testing of the netbooks (whatever that means) and my order would be processed and shipped right away. He offered to upgrade my shipping to 2-3 business days with tracking as I had requested they do so in my original support request/nasty gram. I checked my order status yesterday morning (Dec 12th) and no shipment had yet been made. Frustrated and perplexed as I too ordered as gifts for my children for Christmas, I started researching sites and found to my dismay all of you folks in my same boat.
    What I also found was the message from Erik at eGlobalWireless. So I took the email he posted and figured I was already up the creek without a paddle, so why not give it a try and see if his word to help was true... I sent the following email with a subject line that read. "Erick HELP ME PLEASE":

    I searched the internet looking to ease my mind that I have not placed my order with a non legitimate company and found to my dismay a considerable amount of issues that mirror my own. I retrieved your contact information from one "https://www.complaintsboard.com" website where you offered to resolve such issues. With that, I am soliciting your help in resolving my order. Below is the correspondence I have had with your company thus far. I must admit, customer service has been lacking substantially as reaching a live person is almost impossible. I am hoping that you stand behind your word to "personally resolve any issues". I would love to be amongst the satisfied customers contributing to your stated 5 star service.

    Within 30 minutes of my sending him this email, I received shipping notification via email that my order had been shipped... Tracking info was provided via USPS (which was an upgrade in shipping at no charge). Following that email, I received the following email from Erick,

    Thanks for reaching out. I appreciate the opportunity to make this right with you and restore your confidence with our company. First I will start off with the good news, I have personally processed your order, upgraded your shipping to 2-3 day priority complimentary and it should ship out to you this week, here is the tracking number;

    This tracking number will update the moment your item gets picked up from USPS. The cause of this problem is a perfect storm of things.

    1. We are understaffed for the amount of volume we are experiencing, we simply did not forecast this bittersweet problem.
    2. We are selling these netbooks faster than we can fulfill the orders.
    3. We get shipments a few times a week of random colors from our supplier.

    Please accept our apologies as we truly are working as hard and as fast as we can. We are 100% a legitimate company that simply is overwhelmed at this time. We are fulfilling each and every order. We would not be in business since 2003 if we were a scam. We have an “A” rating with the BBB online that we work very hard to maintain. Wal-mart does not even have this rating.

    I checked the tracking on the USPS website this morning and it showed my package in route with an expected delivery date of Dec. 16th.

    How will this story end?? Well I am not sure yet and won't be until the package arrives and the two netbooks I ordered are tested. It has NOT been fun, but if you are in my shoes, I would at least try contacting Erik to try and make some amount of lemonade out of what has been very sour lemons. I don't condone the principals of showing items as "in stock" when they in fact are not etc., but I am relieved at the response back and effort to resolve on Ericks part. I will update my personal scenario once the items are received and report back on the 16th (17th at the latest) with detail on the actual product, from packaging to productivity and functionality. I hope my entry has been helpful. In a perfect world none of us would have had to experience this, but If your a mom like me trying to make Christmas, contact this Erick person as a start.

    I ordered 2 notebooks on Dec 6th...(3-5 days in should have recieived my stuff) it's still not shipped, but they took my money, i sent 2 emails, tried to phone, tried live chat, ...no one answered, so i called my bank, ...not happy with this company at all, ...my bank is now dealing with it...

    victoria, watch your card and make sure they dont charge you for that extra shipping...i find it odd that you recieved an email dec. 9th saying they just got a shipment in blah blah and today is dec. 14th and i recieved that SAME email...i ordered my stuff nov. 29th...i hope for your sake you are one of the few that get an actual real non-faulty product, please let me know what happens, i am very interested...

    Well I emailed Erik. I received the read receipt where he opened and read my email, but I have yet to hear a reply. It's been two weeks, and I will just let my bank deal with it. I was even able to get through on the phone! But guess what happened? The chick who answered the phone listened as I told her how long I have been waiting and then she hung up on me! Wonderful customer service! I am going elsewhere to buy my daughters their laptop because I refuse to let eglobal ruin their Christmas. I do not have the time or patience to continue to wait and see if it shows up. It will be just my luck it shows up defective and then I am still out of money. I can say this, it will be a long time before I purchase anything online again.

    someone on one of the other comment sections said if you google map the address its a house with an open garage and you can see boxes in it...so i did, and BOOM there it is...a house...open garage and boxes all over...

    I have again tried all day yesterday, and with no avail, I called my bank put a stop payment on the net books, end of story for me. I i receive them I will not accept them and send them back!!! I have never experienced anything like this in my yrs of online shopping. I would not advise anyone to use this company... I did e-mail Erik with no response so I had no choice but to stop payment and now I am done!!

    On the up note, I was able to get the same type of Net book at sears, for $109.00 which was great, and now my children will have the Christmas they will be happy with. I was in panic mode b/c this is there big gift and being out of work and on limited income doesn’t make for a super big spending season in my house!! This company should be ashamed of how they are running their business, and I would recommend everyone canceling this order with the card / or bank b/c you can't get a hold of anyone at this company, and try to find the deal else ware ... cvs believe it or not had the same computer for 99.00 too so the deals are out there just look around...

    I got a quick response via email from Erik. The email states my notebook is being shipped today. I spoke with Erik and he confirmed verbally over the phone that the item is being shipped. All I can do cross my fingers and wait. I will keep everyone posted.

    Ok I have an update to my case. Well after over a week waiting to get my order shipped and trying to contact the company to no avail, I sent the manager my complaint directly and sent emails to all their emails letting them know i was ready to take action if they didn't ship my order in time for christmas and I received the 7" netbooks today in working order. I am a happy customer. I think you guys need to do something about your customer service and the amount of time it takes for you to ship your orders since you charge a priority order processing fee upfront. A couple of my coworkers want to purchase the same item but I'm apprehensive to give them the information because I don't want to get blamed for a bad experience. If you, eglobal, guarantee that the items will be shipped in a timely manner and there will be someone to answer phone or email, then will let these people know where to purchase the items.

    I too am experiencing the same thing. My Mother ordered the netbook on 11/27/2010 and STILL haven't received it. I sent the email below this morning directly to Erik.

    My Mother ordered the Pink 7" Netbook on 11/27/2010 and STILL has not received it. I find it very odd that NO ONE can get through via phone or online chat. I literally sat on hold for a long time while I also had the chat up for 3 hours straight. Not once did I get an answer. It actually hung up on me. I'm starting to think that your company is a scam and I can guarantee you that if we do not get this product by this weekend or our money back, we will be contacting authorities. We have several judges as well as lawyers in our family and we will pursue this to the very end. I have already printed up all complaints found online about your company. I also noticed how ironic it is that you go on http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100627072430AAobOu3 and try to act like you are a customer and turn around on https://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/purchased-item-never-mailed-c399164.html#c830096 and say you are the manager. Again I hope that you are a legit company and make this right immediately, but if not we will move forward with a lawsuit.
