eelimite.com / unable to locate to stop charges

1 United States Review updated:

In reviewing my bank statement, I have been charged $38.88 by eelimite.com and I am trying to locate this company so future charges are not made. When searching for this company to request discontinuing services and charges nothing shows up. It is like they don't exsist. I am thinking this is from a country outside of the US, but I can find no information. Can someone please help me locate this company? Or knows something about how to handle this situation?

    happen to me also

    I called this number 1-866-905-5125

the company name is royal billings and they are subscribing you to a entertainment site for the amount charge
they will ask you which credit card number it was bill to, then give it to them, then they will ask you if you want to cancel and they will refund your money...

Had this happen to me also. Charge went through my account on 10/9/2008 for the amount of $39.73. It is so much fun trying to cancel something when you have NO CLUE what you are cancelling! But the charge on the account says EELIMITE.COM however the confermation email I recieved after calling the 866-905-5125 Number is not what is on the billing. Low and behold it is an Adult video site!! Something This family has NO USE for and most certainly NEVER went to so how they got our info is VERY scary indeed! The web site I was sent is DiscountVideoPass.com. The ONLY Videos this family watches are suitable for our entire family Kids Included! This really does make you mad. What if you didn't catch this going through? They just bill you as they please? Has to be something to stop stuff like this! I really do appreciate you posting your problem and then the answer or I would have had NO CLUE what to do with this!

I was just charged $47.03 by this "company". I had cancelled my membership a month ago to an adult video site and they charged me again?? Thanks for the phone number though, I called them and had it canceled and my money refunded. They said that it will be refunded within 5 to 7 banking business days so I guess I'll find out then:)

    Thanks again for the help

I just had the same thing happen to me. There were two charges on my account, one for $39.97 and another for $29.95. Both charges are dated for 10/07/08, but went through today. I followed the advice of Letemplier (first comment), and called that number. I also recorded the conversation & the man on the other end of the line sounded Indian (I've got nothing against Indians - just reporting facts). I told him I was calling to have two fraudulent charges removed from my account & he started to play dumb. He appologised & then acted like he thought an appology would be enough (like that was the end of the conversation). I told him that an appology wouldn't be enough & that he was going to have to REFUND teh entire amount immediately unless he wants to get sued. He then did everything that Letemplier talked about (took the card number & e-mail address) processed the cancelation and refund & then told me that it would take 7-14 days for the refund to go through. I asked him for the name of his company & he said "Royal Billing".

I also recieved 2 charges of 39.73 one on 10/9/08 and 10/10/08 doesnt it seam funny how misterious charges show up in peoples checking accounts right around the time when the stock market is plumeting and it seems to have no bottom. It all just seems a little ironic. with the government passing a 700 billion wall street bailout. who will pay for this?? this may seem a little far fetched but who is to say this is not the goverment. just think about how many people dont pay attention to there bank accounts. I just find it so wierd that all of these charges happend with in a few days of each other. and all during the worst week in our economies history.

I had this problem too. I canceled my credit card to avoid trying to figure out how to cancel the payments directly. What a bunch of ### these people are.

I had this same problem, on 10/10/2008 i was charged $39.87 from eelimite.com. I used this complaint site to get the number to call (1-866-905-5125). The person I spoke with seemed extremely shaded and like no customer service representative I have spoken with before. I was told that I would be refunded in 5-7 business days and that I would be removed from future billing. However I also immediately contacted my bank seeing that this was my checking account being charge and they thought it was a scam and that I should cancel and change my account. I did so, and I recommend others do the same! Also, my checking account is with Wachovia...

Same here. Got two charges of 39.73 on Oct/11/08. Being that I've not even used my card for anything in the last two weeks, I don't think it was me. I immediately called my bank and they changed my card number. Then I called that number and had them cancel it. I'm just worried they won't credit it back now that my card number is different. I'm just going to put in a charge dispute once it clears.

first thing you should do is cancel your card...
maybe your bank can either contact them or conference you in, which is what they did with me. wasn't a huge help though because then the bank jumped off the line and i was stuck trying to convince "royal billing" to give me a refund...5-7 days blah blah blah. i'll be surprised if that refund ever hits!

Also noticed another charge for 9 something. So, three charges in the same day. Maybe we can find a trend. My card was a BoA Visa. Anyone else?

So how do I do if I live outside of the US?
I just noticed I got charged by this website and I have no idea what this ### is.
I've never bought anything from them.

Is that a US phonenumber? How do I contact them from Sweden?

Nevermind my question, I figured it out and called them.
Supposedly I had subscribed for the website Mega Download Pass since september, nice suprise.
Maybe I surf porn in my sleep?

Anyway the lady I talked with was nice and helpful, she even understood my not so good english :P
I would get the money back in 7-10 business days, after that I'll get a new credit card.

I checked through September on my credit card statement and I found that they've actually charged me $37 two times. I saw another charge of $4.5 dollars, which was for the 7 day trial at http://www.baydownloads.com/ for their downloading software, but according to the billing company I paid for a 7 day trial at Mega Download Pass! I remember well and clear that I cancelled the trial at baydownloads, but they kept charging me anyway.

So if any of you have visited baydownloads now you know how they got your credit card number.
Now I'll just have to wait and see if the money comes in.

Thanks Ian for the tip, but I got it solved, I hope.
Both of these numbers led me to the same lady at the billing company, she helped me and gave me a refund even though they charged me in the beginning of september.

    Lachy,
Use the extension 001 for the above number, so the number will look like this:
    001-866-905-5125

I cancelled from Sweden yesterday and the phonecall cost me around $2, so if I get my money back it will be worth it:P
