There is a reason eDirectSoftware does not sell MS OS (from what I have seen, no MS products) anymore. I'm filing this complaint because they deserve it for selling me an invalid or not fresh XP Pro holographic CD. Plus they decided NOT offer any apologies but instead insulted us for assuming we copied something! I sent the CD to MS and they said it did not qualify as a good counterfeit! Well it fooled us.
My system "suddenly" became invalid, and the LIVEperson help insulted us with their first response with
T(eDS): ' What is your receipt number? '
l(me): ' Paypal Receipt number: xxxx-xxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx '
T(eDS): ' This will only invalidate if you have installed more than once '
Microsoft is smarter than that and will allow legal transfers - even for Vern... My system was a fresh install with only one user and full protection. No hardware was changed and I have never had to use the CD since. When I went to the MS Updates, as we do periodically, it suddenly found my OS invalid. Hmmm... Expired license? Key?
So I chalk it up to my naivety for trusting eDirectSoftware. Never again will I buy from people like this; always will I check the 'Net for complaints; and always will I mention them in this light.

T: 'We are not able to trace if you have installed this software more than once, and we no longer even carry it. We cannot replace it.
They just should have been honest enough to state they don't sell MS and offer us a discount or something on another product.
