Edgars Fashion / Edcon / changing of account payment period & issuing of vip club card

I am an Edgar's account holder for the past 20+ years & very disappointed on service from Jeffery's Bay branch. My reasons as follows: Received many phone calls / emails inviting me to purchase & I was granted VIP club member status on 2015. When attempting to collect my VIP club card from the Jeffery's Bay branch the Manager informed me that card stock is not available and waiting on stock (19 January 2016). Manager was very abrupt & lacking customer care as my request to enquire about availability of cards was ignored and had something to say on all my request, willingness to assist was non-existent. I also asked that my 12-month balance reduction be reduced to 6 months as before and this was refused by head office person who I have spoken to and the answer was that only new customers get this option. When I replied that I will pay-up my account and close the account it was acceptable to the person I spoke to and this is the route I am considering to follow.
