I gotta say, ecyclebest is not the way to go. I mean, I really tried to give them a chance, even though I read all the bad stuff about them. I even called them up before I sent in my iPhone 5 32GB to make sure they would give me the $215 they promised. They said as long as I described it right, I'd get the money. So I sent it in and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, a week later, I got an email offering me $96 for my phone. What the heck?! I called them up right away, but I had to wait forever to talk to someone. I didn't want to take such a low offer, so I waited for like 30 minutes until someone finally picked up. I asked if I could get my phone back, but they said it was already being processed. Four days later, still no phone. I called again, and again had to wait forever to talk to someone. Finally, after like 35 minutes, I got through and asked to speak to a supervisor. But they put me on hold and then told me the supervisor wasn't available. I'm so mad at ecyclebest right now. Don't use them, seriously.

I am giving them five business days to respond before I file a complaint with the BBB and possibly the authorities in Nevada. My guess is that they are using high offers to lure people to send electronics and mining the devices for personal data, which a good hacker can find even on wiped hard drives, to be used to commit the crime of IDENTITY THEFT.

When I asked to speak to a manager, Melanie just talked over me and said they would mail my phone back to me. I was so frustrated!

I called back and spoke to someone named Denise, but she wouldn't connect me to a manager without an account number. I was so fed up at this point that I filed a complaint with the NV States Attorneys office. I mean, if they're going to scam people like this, they deserve to be held accountable.

This company is not to be trusted! The quote you receive online is not even close to what they will offer you, no matter how good the condition of your device is. After sending in your device, they will offer you an extremely low amount that is nowhere near the online quote. You will have to call and negotiate with their "purchasing rep" who will continue to offer you a low amount until you are lucky enough to get half of the online quote.

I used the packing materials that their company sent me to pack my phone in, and I do not believe for a second that the phone was damaged in transit. If the package had been mishandled in transit, both devices would have been affected.

I tried back on Tuesday, January 27th, but the CS reps were very short with me both times and put me on hold before I had finished asking for assistance. After following the prompts for the model and make of the phone and the condition of the phone, I was quoted $157. Since the phone was in mint condition and had hardly been used, I was satisfied with the quote and confident that this would be a quick transaction. However, I did not hear anything from the company for weeks and attempted to contact customer service with no success. I either got the "heavy call volume" queue or a busy signal through the other telephone number offered to consumers.

I then decided to log onto the website and found that they had posted a message into my account in there, without sending any emails to my personal account. Any normal person would not know to log into this account on a regular basis to find messages, especially when they specifically tell you that they will be sending you an email to the address you provide. Evidently they needed the password to gain access to the phone, which I had forgotten to delete, and I responded to the email and provided the password to them.

Luckily, I received an email to my personal email account letting me know that they had received the email and would be sending the device back to inspection which normally takes 24-48 hours to complete and to expect a phone call or email with the results and to expect payment shortly thereafter (the next business day). However, I did not receive a phone call or voice mail nor did I receive an email from them confirming completion of the inspection. I only received an email from Paypal stating that I had received $24 for my iPhone. This was well below the original quote, and I did not accept this price for the sale of my device, as the device is in mint condition.

I attempted to contact the company as I was not happy with the price they offered, but I did not receive a response from them. I have left several messages with them and have sent emails to them, but still have not received any response. I logged into my online account and noticed that they have also deleted all of the internal email correspondence regarding the sale of my iPhone in an attempt to erase the transaction history. Luckily, the customer service rep responded to my personal email, so I do have documentation from the internal account over in my personal email which they cannot touch.

According to the company's procedures, once inspection is completed, they follow up with an email or telephone call to ensure that both parties are still willing to engage in the sale of the device. However, this did not happen, and this has happened to over 328 others (maybe more, as those are the ones who have filed complaints here). Additionally, this company is only licensed as a Laptop and desktop repair company and is not licensed to buy these products online, nor do they have a fictitious name license on file in Sparks. This is a clear violation of their business license.

Quoting a customer $157 for a device which is clearly in mint condition and then reducing that price by 85% without communication or offering to return the device is criminal, especially across state lines. As stated in the "how the system works," the consumer will be offered to have the device returned if they do not agree to the final offer if it is not the same as the original price quoted. I have seen several complaints on here which could constitute criminal actions on behalf of this company due to the pattern of business practice and "resolution."

eCycleBest.com provided a quote online for a nearly new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 cell phone of $240. The phone was flawless, never scratched, dropped or anything - barely used at all. They provided the label and shipment was quick. Email received that the phone was received and being inspected. A week and a half goes by and I receive an email that the inspection is complete and that my quote has been adjusted to $20. Holy Crap - twenty bucks from $240 - that's a HUGE DIFFERENCE. My strongly worded email to the company and refusal of the $20 quote went unanswered. I never received a follow up email or phone call from the company. I also never received the $20 they said my phone was worth, I provided them with a valid Paypal account.

Another week goes by and I email the company again. This time, I call them crooks and scam artists. I received a phone call the very next morning. Isn't that interesting how they respond to emails that threaten reporting to the BBB and Feds. The rude woman on the phone said that this was quote due to some wear on the back cover (really!?) and "pixelization" on the screen. I refused their claims and asked that my phone be returned to me immediately. She said they could not do that that the phone had been recycled the very next day after my initial quote was provided. Well, first of all, I replied to that quote where I did ask for the phone to be returned. I said why did no one at eCycleBest respond to that email and my request and refusal of the initial quote? She said that they did respond. I said, no you did not. I called them scam artists and that this is not acceptable. She then said that my Paypal account was refused - I said probably because paypal knows you all are crooks and won't accept electronic requests from you all. I asked that they send me a paper check - she said they can send me my original $20 quote and an additional $40 to make up for the relatively new phone I had recycled. Fast forward to today, I received 2 checks -- one for $20 and a second for $20. So much for the $40 they promised, again, CROOKS and SCAM ARTISTS - STAY AWAY!

When they received the laptop they contacted me and said that they made an inspection and that my laptop was completely broken and did not even turn on and said that they'll pay me $15!

I told them to give it back and they said that everything they get is non returnable!
