Eclipse Fitness / Rude Customer Service

I wish I had seen this: and this: http://blogs.consumerr... before joining.

It is exactly what happened to me at Eclipse - they pretty much sweet talked me into joining even though I said I was in the area for only a month or so. Then it took me 5 months @ $60 per month (ouch) to cancel my membership - and I didn't go even once during those 5 months because I had moved away. They pretty much acted like they were from the collection agency everytime we talked on the phone - rude and didn't give a damn. And I was dealing with their "Customer Experience Manager" - some experience he was providing.

I'd stay away from this place unless you are absolutely sure you will use it for many months and years - read and re-read the fine print - don't fall for their super smooth sales guys.
