Eboost Media Eboost Media is horrible

Eboost Media is a complete scam. They promise to have your business listed in the top three spots on Google and Yahoo search engines. It's only going to cost you $100 for the first month and then $160 each month after that. Sounds pretty good, right? Well, here is our experience with the company. They were very quick to return our calls to get our business but then after they received our credit card info it was like they fell off the face of the earth. My wife and I both called them repeatedly and it took us about a week to actually talk to someone. We were told that we would receive a call back and EVERY SINGLE TIME NO ONE CALLED BACK! We had to continually hound them to get anything done.

And then once we realized they were not a legit company, they refused to cancel our account. I tried canceling with them four days in a row and although I was told that we were "officially canceled" I would later receive a call with someone from Eboost offering to give us a better monthly rate. I asked if the account was canceled and the lady told me it was not. So after reading other people's horror stories I finally canceled the credit card that I gave them so they wouldn't be able to charge my card anymore. It has been such a hassle dealing with this company and a complete waste of time for my business. We are still not listed anywhere near the top three spots on google or yahoo.

Also, Eboost is simply doing something that every business owner can do for free. If you go to Yahoo or Google's local business listing, you can submit your business info so people will find it in the local listing. You can submit photos and put all of the info you want customers to see about your business. Google and Yahoo do not charge a dime for this and it will take you less than 5 minutes to do it yourself. Or you can pay the geniuses at Eboost to set you up for $100 and then they will continue to charge your card and give you the runaround when you decide to cancel.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM!

I guess the best thing to do is ask them for customer references to check with and do a search to see if those customers are actually on google and yahoo and msn etc. also ask them to email you with their offers and then check them out with the BBB (Eboost Media has a bad rating with the BBB) and a google search.
If it is a good deal today it will be a good deal next month or next year!

Yeah I was one of their victims too, but all they got from me was the first $99. I canceled my card before they could bill me again. You are wasting your time trying to call them NO one ever calls back and they don't answer the phone. I did speak to Denette who said she was the customer service manager she said she would call me back BUT never did so I tried calling her at ext. 237 like she said but that was a dead end. So I canceled my card. They also go by" TOP RANK LISTING.com" It's a DOT CON buyer beware!

lISTEN UP, THIS IS IMPORTANT...After 5 long weeks of getting the run around, i finally got my listing up & running by eboostmedia. However- I discovered i can get the same listing free from yahoo & google. Luckily, i reported my credit card stolen & was issued a new card. I did this the day after i signed up w/ eboost, just to be safe. So after 5 weeks of complaining, calling a hundred people, (& nobody EVER called me back), i am finally listed, but prospective clients must type in specific "key words" . I own a roofing co. So, someone must type in: " roofing portola hills". If they don't, my listing won't pop up. If someone types "roofing", mine wont pop up. In fact, the ONLY way my listing will pop up is if you type "roofing portola hills" or rightonroofing", (my co. name). but who's going to type in my name when they don't even know who i am?
So, don't cancel eboost, because they wont allow that. cancel your card. report it stolen & get a new card issued. I have a co. phone number for their main office; [protected]. ext. 237. this is the "managers " #. her name is "Danette" Thier corp. head quarters is located at 41655 date st., murrietta, 92562. So please, let them know you are pissed off!
i have been running my business for 11 years & have other advertising avenues, including yellowbook (4 ads placed), they have great customer service, (they come to your home). So, i wanted to try other forms of advertising so i tried eboost. They are an upside down co., inconsiderate, rude & run their co. like monkeys on dope." So go let them know you will do everything to put them out of business. Co., like that don't deserve to exist!

Eboost Media Scam charges

EBOOST MEDIA company contacted me to place my company on the front pages search engines Yahoo and Google. At first I was interested but the price threw me off. $99 set up and $159 a month. I told them I wasn't interested bc of the price. It was too much. Well the rep called me back four times leaving messages. Then leaving me a voice mail saying they would cut the price to $50 the first month and $99 each month. I was concerned with my rights as a customer. They stated money back guaranteed . After the manager got on the phone and convinced that the program worked and I would be number one, he gave me the customer service number and told me I can cancel anytime. I went with the order.

After ten days I called back and could not find my name anywhere to be found. The number I called was a number to customer service but to their competitors customer service number. I was outraged! After finding their website I contacted the EBoost media and am still battling with the FRAUD COMPANY STILL! My Bank is handling it for me.

STAY AWAY! THEY ARE FRAUD!

I Agree!

E-Boost Media is the worst kind of rip-off artists. They make false promises and give no written contract or guarantee their work in writing. DO NOT HIRE THEM YOU WILL GET HOSED! (That is their business) THEY WILL NOT GET YOU TO THE TOP OF THE SEARCH ENGINES USING ORGANIC SEARCH OPTIMIZATION LIKE I WAS PROMISED, THEY DO NOT USE THAT METHOD OF SUBMISSION.

They signed me up on July 9, 2008 and said that they would have me up and running within 7-10 days with a custom video for the Real Estate industry. However, they did not start work on properly collecting my search words until July 30th. My Google submission did not happen until August 4th. Up and running in 7 to 10 days? My foot!

I had left E-Boost Media several voice messages in late August that I was not happy with their "service" and that I wanted to stop paying them. Well, no calls were returned, and when I finally got a hold of Dinette (if that is her real name) on September 9, I told her I was unhappy and I asked to see where my listing was on the Internet. It turns out that they had placed a E-Boost Media video clip attached to my listing, not a 'real estate' video clip as I was promised. To make matters worse, to see the clip I had to do a Yahoo search and click on "Maps" to show up at all. WHAT A SCAM!

Also on September 9, I was promised by Dinette an additional 10 days of service without billing to make up for the first 21 days that e-Boost Media did nothing (other than BOOST my money). After the promise was made I was hurried off the phone by Dinette.

On September 12, After I called Dinette to end the "service", she offered me16 days of no billing and a reduction of monthly fees of only $79.00 down from the regular price of $159.00. Did I take it? HELL NO, these people are liars, scammers, and crooks!

Today on September 22, I received a bill by email from linkpt.net for $159.00 in monthly charges. When I called e-Boost to complain I was told that bill was for charges on September 9, . When I asked about the 10 days of compensation that I was promised on September 9, I was told by Dinette that she had no record of that conversation. Hmm, imagine the nerve of these people! E Boost Media is a bunch of LYING Rip-Off Artists!

When I told Dinette that E-Boost Media had no contract and that I had already disputed the charges with my credit card company, she appeared to care less and was confident that they would get my money anyway. Did I mention E Boost Media is bunch of ### sucking Rip-off artists?

Eboost Media fraud, vile and nasty messages

False promises to give you a top Google and Yahoo search ranking within about 7 days. Nice rep, but it's all downhill after you sign up. Demanding a refund may result in voice mails from eBoost Media that call you every vile name in the book. It happened to this guy: http://www.boingboing.net/2008/07/23/did-eboost-customer.html . Uggh. Avoid eBoost like the plague!

Even when they are trying to repair their image, they are vile and nasty.

Here on complaintsboard on another complaint, "Patrick" from eBoost Media calls the customer "nuts". On [redacted], an employee was caught faking positive customer feedback, then lies some more. After being called out on more lies, the caught employee then resorts to "you have no life".

These people are so rude, unprofessional and inept, they can't even defend their company on a consumer website and pretend they care or want to resolve a complaint.

I'm pretty sure they'll be changing their name soon but continue to defraud the public.

Just google "eboost media". Folks, if they can't manage their own google results in a positive manner, how do you expect them to do it for you?

Eboost Media Fraud and scam

They pulled the same scam on me as they did all of the other people who have fell victim to them. They guarantee to give you a prime position on Google's natural or organic listings within 7-10 business days but don't deliver. They use terms like customer service and sales department like they are a legitimate business. But rest assured that this is all a front to get you to cough up your credit card information. They will go on about how they have big clients like Nike and Coca Cola to make you think that you are dealing with a professional SEO business.

I always said to myself that I would never fall victim to another scam but I did. I hope that if you are reading this report, you have not given them your credit card info. If you did, the only thing you can do at this point is try and dispute it as I have with your credit card company. On the advise of a letter given to me from Google. They suggest to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

If anyone needs the eBoostMedia address, this is it. The business is in a
brick fronted building, the address being
41655 Date Street, suite 200
Murrieta, Ca. 92562
As you probably know, the phone #'s change from time to time conveniently. GOOD LUCK

eBoost media ripped me off. I signed a contract dated July 1, 08. They billed my credit card co. a date of June 30Th, and then the 159 on July 27 so they could take a payment early. The contract said it was a 30 day billing cycle, but when I went in to confront them they said it was 28 days despite what the contract said, and then proceeded to tell me I put that date on the contract to suit my personal motives. I told them that was the day the salesman came into my office. Apparently your contract date is invalid and they can start you when it is convenient for them. When I went in to confront Dennette. whom I talked to last time I went in to their office, they said their is no one by that name here. So they introduced me to Janet, and it was the same woman as before only a new name, it was Dennette! She assumed an alias! The first time I went in was because they had gotten the address of my business location wrong, wherein they agreed to give me two weeks for free. When I went in to ask them why they billed me for the 159 before they gave me my two free weeks, . they said they knew nothing of the free two weeks. The rep and salesman do not work there anymore. I am calling the Federal Trade Commission so should you!

I have also been scammed! I hired eboost media after talking with them for several months about their service. I usually do alot of research but found myself very busy at the time and agreed to their service, they said to us that they will garauntee us in the top 3 positions on google search for our area. I gave them a check by phone instaed of a credit card. They called me on th day of the earth quake in California and said that their phone system needed to be repaired and that they would call me with another phone #. I tried to call their and the # is diconnected with no new # which made me realize I had been scammed. Does any body have an address for eboost, I will be in California next week and I will pay them a personal visit which I can assure you won't be pleasant. If anbody needs a copy of the agreement for their records I can email it to them. The person who works for them says they don't guarantee their clients anything and tell them up front they don't, is a liar and I can show them the agreement which they sent to me. Thanks Willie

Eboost media is definitely a scam. Patrick, you say your company doesn't guarantee anything? Ya right. You just called me two weeks ago to place my Garage Door Company on the first page of Google, Yahoo, and MSN. After listening to your sales pitch I just started laughing. I did my research about your company and all I can find is negative comments. Prove it by placing a couple of satisfied clients web sites to see if they are even on the front page of all the search engines. And please dont use the same one you did with me when you called. You need to find a better career because if you need to work for Eboost Media, you must be desperate for money.

My Name is Kolby and I am currently a intern at the digital marketing firm eBoost Consulting, not eBoost Media.

I would like to make clear that in NO WAY is eBoost Consulting associated with eBoost Media. We would never treat our customers like this and are embarrassed that our name is similar to a company that would even think of providing a sup-par service and lack luster customer service.

We have directly addressed the Rogier van Bakel incident on our blog and invite all those fraud-ed by eBoost Media to go over and check it out.

Use this company, get ripped off, then, get crank calls riddled with profanity from their "customer service department". Check Boing Boing dot net's entry on this dated today to hear the voicemail using slurs left for a defrauded customer demanding their money back. Not only scammers, positively disgusting and rude ones at that.

SEO companies in general are slime. There is nothing magical about SEO. Any low level web developer should be able to implement proper SEO (cheaply and easily) after doing a little searching on google.

If you give your money to someone selling you a position in search engines, you are being ripped off.
