eBay fraud, liar, con artist, cyber stalker/bully, unethical ripoff

Beware of doing business with Jeff Rumbold. He is either extremely ignorant/mentally impaired or intentionally vindictive. He uses his eBay account "colnagomanwa" to victimize dozens of innocent sellers.

In my case, he bid on an item and refused to pay. Once I had to get ebay involved and open a non payment dispute against him he sent a barrage of nasty emails claiming he was going to leave negative feedback and accusing me of not shipping his item (despite the fact he had a valid tracking number attached to his listing at all times).

He looks for reasons to leave negative feedback for hard working sellers in an attempt to take bread off of their table. This is how he gets his kicks. He refuses to be reasoned with or to admit he ever does anything wrong. Do not do business with this man. He will look for any way possible to hurt you and will enjoy it.

Avoid the scam artist Jeff Rumbold like the plague!

That's a bunch of bull. Jeff's a personal friend of mine, a retired Navy veteran, and an outstanding person.

Shame on you for slamming Jeff because you refused to reimburse him for a purchase that was never delivered.

eBay I was scammed and ebay never helped me

I bought some cosmetics from www.ebay.com and my order arrived completely damaged. It was obvious that package was opened and then closed with the use of tape. I contacted the seller and provided pictures. He claimed that when he shipped the package it was in a good condition. I mentioned that several products were damaged and one lip gloss was missing, but he replied that was not his responsibility!
Then I told him that I was contacting eBay support and he said that I can do everything I want. Now I know why he was so self-confident. That's because he already knew how terrible eBay was, they never replied! eBay is not a safe place, there is no customer protection!

eBay ebay customer service

Had an ebay account I chose to delete that had over 2000 100% positve feedback on it with no penaties etc
Signed up for a new account everything sorted payment linked to paypal have registered my card with them cofirmed my address bank account and everything with paypal have never had an account suspended or anything from the start was not able to bid on anything. Brought a few items at buy it now and now I cant even do that. Have contacted ebay by contact us email got various replies as to why this is first seemed to think my account was suspended no it wasnt next I have unpaid items no I dont the next telling me I can only buy buy it now items no I cant even do that! I even had to resort to buying an item as a guest! Where is the logic in that? As a "guest" I could be anybody? They are now not replying to my emails all I get told is to call them
I will not be spending my money calling ebay for a problem they have caused that has made my account unusable will have no choice but to delete it. They clearly do not want my money.

I brought so much from eBay sellers some been good some haven't I been through abuse threats harrasment threats to my life by nasty sellers on eBay some scam you over dodge phones say they are me new or mint condition when they arrive they are faulty goods eBay don't do nothing about nothing at all keep abusers etc on and us buyers either get kicked off for standing up to them or put up with there abuse threats harrasment and worse some cases ...

yes i agree this is the reason i deleted my first account with ebay that i had for over 10 years 100% positive feedback. a "top rated seller" completly verbally abused me when i opened a case because i didnt get the item. shocking way to talk to somebody this continued throughout the case ebay had proof of this from reading what they had written and although the problem was sorted ebay removed the HONEST feedback i left for the seller that was not abusive etc and basiclly told me top sellers can do what they want more or less. this seller obviously knew that to talk to me in such a disgrasful way they knew they could get away with it with no reprecussions from ebay and that any negative feedback would be removed. these top rated seller are the people that make ebay money they dont want to upset them. its just wrong

eBay seller protection

Hello. I am a seller on eBay and recently I sold something to a user and later I received a message from the same user saying that he was not satisfied with his purchase.
I decided to refund him his money and asked him to ship the item back to me. Later I received a shipping notification and a tracking number. After that I immediately processed a refund.
About two weeks later I received the package and when I opened it I saw that package was empty! I tried to contact the user, but his account no longer existed!
I sent message to eBay support but they did nothing to help, they didn't even reply. There is absolutely no seller protection on eBay, I think I will sell elsewhere.

eBay warning! bijouterie-de-amelie on ebay!

Hi, Got 4 items from bijouterie-de-Amelie on Ebay. Out of 4 items 2 had a problem contacted them more than 20 times, what ever I say or ask them, same automated message to answer you. No Service what so ever, No Refunds and No Replacement items saying no more in stock and updating or changing the ad right away but still selling them. They did this for both items that were defective, same process and exact same pattern and practices. Delivery delays were respected (with in 2 months) got them after only 1 month. But if you have a problem with anything you buy there, it is simply your loss. I can not recommend this company and very unsatisfied customer.

eBay refund

I have had an ongoing case with ebay in regards to a refund which has been ongoing for over a month now. The seller was uncooperative so I had ebay step in. They're 'Buyer Protection' guarantee is useless. I have had multiple conversations with them and each time told they will help and each time nothing is done. Don't be fooled; they continue to make excuses.

Ebay is full of scammers and con sellers I brought a now TV box with life time Plex I brought from a seller in northern Ireland seller dirty money after two months I reported the seller to the police as I lost my live TV channels within two months I paid 68pounds with live Plex TV for life but I found out I was scammed by the seller I lost 55pounds from the now TV box as I lost Plex TV altogether now total scam ebay UK is...on top of that I had threats to my life abuse harassment every time for 4 yrs I called the police few times I reported it to ebay guess what sellers get away with it ...ebay UK is totally disgrace ...

I'm sending this complaint of eBay ID that is Sherry6915 she has ripped me of recently I paid for a San Francisco Giants 2014 Replica Ring bought by from her on eBay on recently of the date which is Feb.24, 2017 I was supposed to get this replica, San Francisco Giants Replica World Series Ring before or after the date of Feb.27, 2017 this Sherry Bonnet who goes by the ID again?At Sherry6915?Has used old out dated USPS label that was once from past sale Sherry Bonnet also puts this out dated places back into the USPS computer then sends an email message in lie saying it has been shipped out she again Sherry6915 is scammed is scamming all people for money also it now March.12th, 2017 I got nothing this Sherry Bonnet also continues to resell and then repost the exact sane ring I just like so many eBay buyers are paying and above all

eBay horrible

I bought a dress from Ebay and received nothing! My order actually arrived but there was nothing in the box, it was empty.
I contacted the seller and he told me that was impossible and that dress was supposed to be there. I don't know what really happened. Maybe that seller scammed me, or maybe someone stole the dress, but the point was that money was paid and order was not received. I asked for a refund but received no as an answer. Seller said that it was not his fault and that there was no reason for him to refund me. My experience with Ebay was terrible and I will not use this site again! By the way, when I contacted Ebay support they did not even reply. What a joke!

eBay gift card.

Dealt with the worst customer service ever today. Was given a gift card several months ago. Went to use it and checkout said it was registered to another user? Contacted customer service associate (poor use of English language), was asked to send them proof of purchase and they may or may not correct problem. Now just where would I have this? Feed-up over $17.21 and customer service associates who can't speak the language.

eBay misleading the customers

I bought an iPhone from them. They are selling them as "Manufacturer Refurbished" but actually those are phones that are returned to Apple and Apple does not provide warranty for those phones. I check the IMEI and serial numbers, and I saw that this item was returned to Apple and not eligible for selling. They are misleading the buyers. Also, I was expecting to hear from them and now the time has passed and I cannot return the item, cannot give a feedback on eBay. I cannot even reach eBay customer support. I don't see any reason to buy something from eBay again. Although there are respectable sellers on eBay, Bidallies is definitely not one of them and eBay is not a good choice to buy an item. (Maybe it was in the past but not anymore)

LG V6 purchased on Ebay had poor signal reception. Continued to get worse until if finally died in just under 2 months. Company not interested in helping since it was past 30 days. Not recommended.

I purchase an iPhone from them on July 7th. The phone is useless because simply doesn't work! Since then I've sent various emails/messages about my issue but seem they don't care. So like that, I lost $229. Stay away of them. Biggest rip off company on eBay!

eBay 2001 toyota tacoma trd 4 door red

I emailed [protected]@gmail.com about this truck and she clammed to be going through eBay and she scammed me out of 1500$ she needs to be reported everything seemed legit but I do not want anyone else giving this person any more money! She also said that she was giving it away because of her son passing away! It was completely through email and moneygram. Do not trust this person or ad!

It’s 2022. I’m guessing it’s the same person on Facebook marketplace. Glad I googled her and found this. Sameish story. Toyota 4runner. Husband died. Trying to get rid of it. This was all through email. Definitely blocking after I have seen this.

This person is STILL using this story/truck to scam people - multiple ads on Offer Up direct you to her email where she attempts to gain your personal information so that "Ebay" can contact you. As soon as she mentioned Ebay I knew it was a scam but I am sure the page that she uses looks very realistic.

It's a 2004 Toyota Tacoma sr5, in perfect working condition, no body work or paint ever done, garage kept, no mechanical problems whatsoever.
It has low miles (101k), 3.4L-V6 Engine - 4x4, runs smooth and the automatic transmission shifts perfectly. The interior is like new.
All regular maintenance was performed at an authorized garage.
It will come with a clean and clear title under my name free from any loans or liens.
If you decide to buy it, you'll receive all the papers(including a clear title), owner's manual, keys and a notarized buy-sell contract already signed by me.
I just got divorced and the truck was awarded to me in our divorce after which I decided to pursue my military career and I moved to Jonesboro, AR from CA.
I have a low price ($1, 000) because I want to sell it in the next 10 days. I have a deployment coming up and would prefer to have my mother who is taking care of my children have the cash instead.

eBay customer service

Ebay has the absolute worst customer service ever for both buyers and sellers. Any time there is any issue they give you the run around and won't do anything to help. As a seller, I had an instance where an empty package was returned, ebay still credited back the buyer and I had to make a complaint on the bbb to get my account credited. I mean I was out of money and my merchandise, but they weren't going to refund me. As a buyer, I recently had my account hacked and called immediately when I noticed to report a transaction. Instead of just canceling the transaction and being done with it, they give you a whole run around. They did an "investigation" that showed I was indeed hacked and put notes to my account and said I would not be responsible. Roll around to today and I have an unpaid item case opened on me for that item. I contact ebay again and spent at least an hour on the phone being transferred ultimately getting nowhere other than getting a big headache and more work. How you ask? Well i'm also a seller and one of the reps sent some email for "unauthorized account use" and removed thirty-one of my listings. This wasn't even discussed in any way, shape or form. My only issue was with the item that was purchased. So I had to go back to relist those items myself. I requested some sort of credit to my seller account for the headaches they caused and they refused. It's also pretty crappy that sellers are only allowed to leave positive feedback, yet buyers can leave false feedback. I have a good rating as a seller, however, I had one buyer threatening me using feedback if I didn't do this that or the other, which is a clear violation in ebays terms. Guess what?! Ebay didn't honor their terms - then again they never do. I used to absolutely love ebay, but now, this company is garbage. They don't care about customer service at all and that's on both ends. If you can find somewhere else to go, you'd be better off than dealing with this crooked company.

I contacted eBay and reported a fraudulent seller which is a real thieve and he stole my money. And I'm not the only victim, a lot of users were scammed and robbed my that scam artists! I sent them all the information I had and I was expecting eBay to help, but they did nothing and they did not even reply to my message! Only once I received a message from them but that was just a spam and had nothing to do with my issue. This is terrible, that there are actual thieves on eBay and they are allowed to do their shady business and eBay moderators simply don't care. I lost over $200 because of them! I will not use eBay ever again, because in my opinion this site is not safe and there a lot of scammers there!

eBay trying to return an item to china that did not fit.

On Sunday 1/22/2017, I contacted ebay needing help to return an item I purchased that was too small for me. I ordered it from China and the seller wanted me to pay to have it sent back. The first two ladies were very nice and walked me through what they wanted to try to do to get the item back to the seller and have him pay the shipping. I did what was needed (upload pictures showing the size from different angles and at 5:24 PM I called ebay back. I got a guy this time and he is telling me that the shirt is the size it is supposed to be because the measurements given by seller is in CM and not American sizes (which I believe he was wrong about the way he interpreted the sizes and then he said I should just try to sell the item to someone who could wear it instead of trying to send it back. It was really not his place to suggest to me what I need o do with the item because that was not the reason I called ebay. I could tell he really was not interested in offering any solutions as far as helping me get the item back. MAYBE EBAY SHOULD HAVE GIVEN HIM THE DAY OFF BECAUSE HE CERTAINLY DID NOT SEEM INTERESTED IN HIS JOB. Next time please tell him to stick to the script and if someone wants his opinion, we will ask for it.

This is a complaint about the customer service I received after trying to rectify a situation that has arisen from the return of an item purchased which I originally took to be my fault in failing to select the correct apparatus on the item but later found out to be the fault of the seller, because this option was not offered to me when the purchase was made. It involves purchases made nov 10, 2016 and dec28, 2016.

This is not a question but a statement. On nov 10, 2016 I purchased this same battery, [protected], ni-cd 6v 900mah rechargeable battery for led solar light power syp aa5sw us) ; it was delivered on nov. 23, 2016, it had a jst-syp tip on it the wrong one. I was told to return the battery for a refund but the return shipping was not covered which will cost me $6.45 which is over half the cost of the battery, making the return unfeasible. I selected not to return the battery but to just purchase the one with the correct tip on it. Today on dec.23, 2016 I just purchased another, [protected], ni-cd 6v 900mah rechargeable battery for led solar light power syp aa5sw us; and I was not offered the option of selecting which tip was to be placed on it. At this time I am notifying you that I want the tip jst smp on this battery. Now being that company randomly sold me a battery with the wrong tip the jst-syp on the previous battery I purchased the seller should refund me the $10.90 spent in purchasing the previous battery. If they want the previous battery returned to them they should cover the shipping costs. It was their fault the wrong battery was sent to me.

I called ebay [protected] approximately 2:28 pm and spoke to mist regarding the first battery I purchased which a return request had been made on. And the seller had agreed to the return but I had to pay for the return shipping and I decided not to because it would cost over half the price of the battery to do so. I informed her that I had decided to eat the cost of the battery and just order another today. When I did no option was offered to select the correct tip so again the battery tip being randomly selected would be sent to me... Therefore the wrong tip being sent to me was not my fault but the fault of the seller. That being the case the return shipping costs should be covered by the seller not i... I should get a total refund of $10.40 on the first battery. Mist reacted not as customer service agent but as a prosecuting attorney seeking to convict the defendant of the standing charges, not focusing on the truth, all of the elements of the case but just on what could be used to get a conviction. But started misconstruing matters related in the letter, saying that the reason the refund would not be allowed that it was returned because of buyer's remorse. I told her I did not select that as the reason for the return and again I told her that the wrong item had been sent to me in that the battery had the wrong tip on it and that had nothing to do with remorse. I then asked to speak with a supervisor and she first refused then agreed. But returned saying no supervisor was available. I sought to reason with her but she was very un - reasonable and the cal was ended at approximately 2:45 pm.

I just checked out the 2nd order and the seller has cancelled the order rather than fill it... Now I contacted him on the same day immediately after the order was placed and told him what tip I needed. Rather than fill the order he refused to do so... Yet I still have not been refunded the monies spent on the battery that tip was randomly selected for.

This is a complaint about the Customer Service I received after trying to rectify a situation that has arisen from the return of an item purchased which I originally took to be my fault in failing to select the correct apparatus on the item but later found out to be the fault of the seller, because this option was not offered to me when the purchase was made. It involves purchases made Nov 10, 2016 and Dec28, 2016.

This is not a question but A statement. On Nov 10, 2016 I purchased this same battery, [protected], Ni-Cd 6V 900mAh Rechargeable Battery for Led Solar Light Power SYP AA5SW US); It was delivered on Nov. 23, 2016, it had a JST-SYP tip on it the wrong one. I was told to return the battery for a refund but the return shipping was not covered which will cost me $6.45 which is over half the cost of the battery, making the return unfeasible. I selected not to return the battery but to just purchase the one with the correct tip on it. Today on Dec.23, 2016 I just purchased another, [protected], Ni-Cd 6V 900mAh Rechargeable Battery for Led Solar Light Power SYP AA5SW US; and I was not offered the option of selecting which tip was to be placed on it. At this time I am notifying you that I want the tip JST SMP on this battery. Now being that company randomly sold me a battery with the wrong tip the JST-SYP on the previous battery I purchased the seller should refund me the $10.90 spent in purchasing the previous battery. If they want the previous battery returned to them they should cover the shipping costs. It was their fault the wrong battery was sent to me.

Ebay should instruct Pitney Bowes Co. to verify correctly the import duties… because as I mentioned already this is legal robbery!
I would be very pleased to be refunded the $25.- which Pitney Bowes extracted from my PayPal account.

I did not mention the charge of $40.90 charges by Pitney Bowes Inc. / Ebay to cover the transport costs of the seller in the USA
The cost of the transport from the USA to Thailand were clear… $10, 95.
In case Ebay will not admit this kind of abuse… your place is clearly between the abusing parties!

Import duties… over-charged with 127%
Shipping cost… over-charged with more than 400%

I consider the extraction of $25.- as theft… as it has nothing to do with the by Ebay mentioned obligation to pay import duties to the Government…

This article of Change.org is circulating on the Internet and explains clearly the problem!

Ebay's Global Shipping Programs' only use is to illegally gouge and steal money from non-US customers. Any time an American Ebay retailer sells an item to someone outside the USA, some company called Pitney Bowes blindly adds a %15 charge to the item's final value, on top of the sellers shipping and handling fees, for no apparent reason. The buyer has no option to opt out of this bogus service. These unfair and unjust fees are forced on the buyer illegally. It's nothing but a scam and Canadians are tired of being taken advantage of!
It has nothing to do with shipping or handling. We know this because the seller takes the item to a USPS Post Office, the same as they always did. There is no way USPS would know to forward this particular piece of mail to some third party handler, as opposed to any other piece of mail. They simply deliver this item as they do any other item, for the normal rate. As well, this has nothing to do with taxes or duties. Pitney Bowes just blindly adds a fee to any item's final price, regardless of the item's tax eligibility. In many cases, there is NO TAX to be charged on a particular parcel, however this does not seem to make any difference.
Ebay and Paypal. Shame on you for allowing PITNEY BOWES to money-grab your customers. This should be illegal, but unfortunately we will have to sue Ebay, Paypal and Pitney Bowes for fraud in a class-action lawsuit. It is horrendous that a company allows a third party to steal from their customers like this.
