eBay shipped junk for quick money

SCAMMER SELLER in eBay:
Contact Name: Mead
eBay Name: "3dayandnight"
email: [protected]@members.ebay.com.hk

This is a LIAR SCAMMER seller in eBay selling JUNK to SCAM buyers for quick money.
When I received the junk item, I complaint to this seller (I should complaint to eBay immediately). This SHAMELESS SELLER pretended to send me replacement parts to fix the problem. But he just lie to buy time; as soon as it passed eBay's resolution period, this LIAR SCAMMER "3dayandnight" totally ignored all my email; and of course I never receive any replacement parts. Now I just got a piece of junk on hand.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAMMER SELLER "3dayandnight". He ship junks to SCAMMER BUYERS for quick money. His dirty way is to drag on the case until it passed eBay's resolution period, then he will ignore you totally and pocket you money.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LIAR SCAMMER "3dayandnight".

Ebay DOES not stand behind their "guarantees" or return policies applied to sellers. User girard1222 has been negatived by one buyer as a thief who should be removed off ebay, has numerous baleful feebacks similar to my own experience: Basically she never refunded a purchase I sent back (received two days later), it took almost 3 months to get my refund back (via paypal's decision not the seller's kind action), seller LIES, avoids/ignores, and according to open ebay feeback shirks refunds as well. girard1222, see for yourself.

eBay ebay allowed extortion from buyer

I made a sale on ebay. The buyer received the item and contact me to say not as described. I advised buyer to return for full refund if not happy. Buyer stated he did not want to return and wanted a refund. I contacted ebay to advise that buyer is not following proper procedure and buyer has made a statement that he will not prove, buyer wants to keep the item and buyer also wants a refund. Ebay advised they would not get involved. I did not submit to this buyers extortion demand to keep the item and get a refund. Buyer then leaves me unwarranted negative feedback. I again contact ebay about this wrong and the buyers extortion demand of a refund and keep the item. Ebay advised they would again not get involved. I escalated to a supervisor and was actually told by an ebay supervisor that I should have just paid the buyer off!

eBay bought item on line and it was fake

I bought an item on ebay or so I thought and spent $3000 via money pak and come to find out it was all a scam. I received a transaction with the listing seller from ebay stating that a transactiin was started between myself and the seller telling me what to do. I went ahead and bought money pak cards and gave the seller the information on the card. I was told that I would receive a tracking number for the item and never did. I contacted ebay and they told me that they show no transaction between myself and the seller. I finally found out how to access the money pak and low and behold the money on the cards are all gone. I have all the of the emails and money pak card information.

What on earth did you buy online for three grand? Interesting that you don't say. Spending that kind of money online from an unknown buyer is ludicrous.

eBay global shipping program

I have just been ripped off by the eBay Global Shipping program, and Pittney Bowes USA, enforced on me by an eBay seller called igiveback, for $299.42 sales taxes, since they won't give you a proper invoice, even with no proper business headings. Please see the attached photo of the only document they sent me after a long stint for me of finding a Mr Right and about 15 emails to seller, Pittney Bowes and eBay resolution center starting a case. IMO Pittney Bowes USA pocket it themselves then. PS Ebay blocked my "case" since they were "judging" in favor of their large seller (called igiveback) on eBay. For me eBay is out, igiveback too. Trying to give negative feedback on the deal on eBay was blocked since "the case was closed". eBay sucks, and be warned !

BY SOHINI LAHIRI

Growing up in Tampa, I spent a period of time fascinated by a
quirky, eye-catching landmark at Fletcher Avenue and Interstate 75. This
was also the period of time I spent obsessed with making binoculars out
of toilet paper rolls and necklaces out of pop tops. To me, this sight
was the epitome of similar creative craziness, and I often found myself
looking for it during car journeys, hoping it hadn’t disappeared
overnight.

But time passes and so does the urge for pop-top necklaces, and
observant eyes don’t notice the same sights. It wasn’t until recently
that I once again took note of the scene, with its broken down orange
helicopter, a tree made of what seems to be indestructible balloons and a
blue-and-white house covered with trash remade into art.

It’s the home of Hong Kong Willie, artist of reuse.

I finally paid a visit to this art gallery after many years of
wondering about the story behind it. The pavement leading to the door is
painted with handprints and splatters, the store edged with upside down
Coke bottles. Streams of lobster buoys hang from the roof and also make
up the “tree” I marveled at so often from my car window.

Various shoes, bottles, clocks and signs are glued to the side
of the store, and there’s a tribute to Sept. 11 off to the side. No one
seemed to be home, so I called the number on the “WE’RE OPEN” sign,
which brought a middle-aged man in a bright Hawaiian shirt from behind
the store.

After a few basic questions, Joe Brown begins to open up about the history surrounding his art.

Brown, better known as Hong Kong Willie, says he was an artist
from the start. “Everyone is born an artist, ” he said. “However some are
granted the gift of being able to express that art.”

As a young boy, his mother decided to send him to art school, which he says changed the course of his life forever.

At the age of 8, Brown recalls being heavily influenced by the
lessons, which included transforming a Gerber baby bottle, something
with no real value, into a piece of art. His teacher had spent an
enormous amount of time and effort in Hiroshima, Japan, helping those
affected by the atomic bombs. Brown learned many lessons about recycling
from this teacher, who had come from Hong Kong. Brown added an American
name, Willie, to Hong Kong for his nickname Hong Kong Willie.

While Brown grew up to be an artist, he left the world of mainstream art to return to his background in technology.

“But on Nov. 13th, 1981 … on a Friday at 1:30 in the afternoon,
I had an epiphany, ” Brown says. “I was at a friend’s house right across
the street, ” pausing to point at a row of apartments across from his
store, “and a series of events led me to rejoin the art world.”

With the help of two other artists, Brown set up his business
in the Florida Keys in the early 1980s, then moved it to Tampa.
Together, they believed that they were predestined for the Green
Movement, and have been making art out of recyclables for close to 30
years.

How’s business? He smiles. “It’s pretty wild.”

Inside, Hong Kong Willie’s art includes glossy pieces of
driftwood restored and painted with beautiful landscapes and kernels of
truth, some of the gorgeous work priced in the six figures. But there’s
also a wide collection of handmade bags, wooden sculptures and sassy
bracelets for more moderate prices.

A portion of the proceeds go to benefit the Green Movement, Brown says.

With a laid-back swagger, Brown continues. “We live pretty
minimally. And all the funds we get from donations and our art sales are
delegated to green projects.”

I’m not sure what I was expecting when I decided to visit Hong
Kong Willie. Certainly not the breathtaking art inside, and definitely
not the history behind it. I’m feeling thick-headed for not visiting
years ago, and say so.

Brown offers a last bit of insight:

“I’m a big believer in predestination and timing. If someone is
not ready to view art, the door is closed. Every piece of art that is
made, and every project we do is done for a reason. It doesn’t matter if
that reason shows up the next day, or walks in six years later; every
piece of art will find a home.”

eBay fraud by wunderkid45

I've learned that there's one thing you can count on Ebay for, and that's to drop the ball. Their “buyer protection” is worthless, and that lesson has cost me $1490.00. Ebay is protecting a dishonest seller. They have closed a claim case, with the knowledge that proper delivery protocol was not followed, and that the item has been returned to the seller. The seller, wunderkid45, or David wunderli has both the item I paid for, and my $1490.00. Ebay's advice is for me to file an interstate small claims suit if I want my money back-ridiculous. Ebay closed the case without even tracking the item, but when pressed acknowledged that it has been returned to the seller. On top of that, I can't even leave honest feedback to warn other buyers-Ebay blocked it since they decided the case in his favor, allowing him to keep both the item and the money with no consequences whatsoever. I have been run around in circles for weeks between Ebay and Paypal.

eBay requested refund for shipping stolen item back to seller for refund

A family member purchased a used iPhone from a seller on eBay. Now, eBay states on the website that they do not sell stolen goods, and do not allow sellers to list stolen goods for sale. You expect everything you buy to therefore be the rightful property of the seller. The phone we were sent we quickly discovered had been reported stolen from the rightful owner. The sim card had been left in the phone, and the rightful owner was contacted by text- the individual that the phone was registered to and who had purchased a phone contact which was still in effect. He believed a neighbor had stolen his phone, and had reported it to the police. By checking the serial number, we confirmed that the number he gave us was a match.
We told the seller that the phone was being returned due to the fact that it was stolen. His response? "Well, duh". Again, eBay does not allow stolen goods to be sold, however, that is what the seller himself admitted to.
The phone was returned at our expense, and we sent the necessary information regarding the shipment to the true owner as well in order to help him get his phone back.
We asked eBay for a refund of the shipment costs. Their response? Nothing. Clearly eBay's own CEO doesn't care that sellers are ignoring his request not to list stolen goods and that customers are unwilling accomplices to criminal activity.
Won't be shopping on eBay ever again. Disgraceful.

eBay received used nokia lumia 822 while order was placed for

I ordered the Brand New Nokia Lumia 822 from US via global eBay .

I wish to state that there has been three major differences between the expected and the actual item condition .

Firstly, when I opened the box, I got the mobile, the back side was laden with the somewhat dirty finger prints .As the mobile is black in color, these finger prints became quite visible .

Secondly, the SIM slot was already bearing the Verizon micro SIM card .

Thirdly, the battery of the cell phone should have been present separately in envelope, but in this case it was already present in the cell phone cover .

Owing to these facts, it appears that the phone has already been used and proper care has not been used while repackaging the phone and re-selling it as Brand "New" .

Last but not least, the cell phone cover should have got the external wrap packing cover too, bit in this case it has just got the box .

I raised the claim for the item refund / replacement as eBay policy says “If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase on eBay, eBay will ensure that you receive a replacement or a full refund within 20 days”.

I got the call from them, and they said the item is in retailer box and hence the claim has been denied .

I got the mail from them which says :
"Action : Buyer did not provide Proof of "Item not as described" - Claim Denied"

I don't understand as what proofs are required from my side, as I have already given them the mobile snaps .

Here are the details of the order and as well as eBay claim raised :

eBay no help with partial refund promise

I purchased an item on ebay for $1, 375 in Dec of 2013. I did not agree with the description of item so I opened a case to get a refund. The seller & I talked back & forth and the seller decided to give me a partial refund of $375.
I agreed on that and proceeded to the next step and learned later that my next step was incorrect and now they (Ebay) cannot make the seller honor their (seller) offer.
On the emails from seller to me, Ebay has buttons to respond, end case, proceed, etc.
Well, after I responded and agreed to the refund, all I saw was a button to end case... it did say (pop up window) .. only select this if you and seller have worked out the issue, or something to that effect. I did hesitate for a moment, but thought yes, she offered, I wrote back I accepted and thanks for working with me, etc. Days, weeks later, no refund. After going back and forth, seller said they talked with Ebay and that Ebay said that since I closed the case "before" getting my rebate, that she didn't have to pay me.. so of course, she now says she will not pay, even tho that is what she offered me.
Ebay says they cannot not dispute the case since it was I who closed case.. I told them they have my permission to override my choice (since it really was an accident that the wrong button was selected) ... they said no. Money had already been given to seller they cannot make her uphold her offer, apologetic but said no.
I am very disappointed in Ebay's Buyer's Protection ... obviously there was no protection for me and was told nothing further I can do, it was up to the honesty/integrity of the seller to follow through. Is there another step I can take... does anyone know? This has been very frustrating and makes me distrust Ebay commitment to it's customers.Any ideas on where to go fro here?

I purchased a leappad through EBAY from a 3rd party. The 3rd party advertised their leappad as "new in box". When I got it is was clearly not new and it was actually broken. I returned it to the 3rd party and asked for a refund. I tried to comunicate to the 3rd party via email many times but was ignored. I then filed a complaint with EBAY, opened a case for a refund. EBAY closed the case and said I would not get a refund and offered no other explaination. I am very mad to say the least. I will never use EBAY again. I tried to get a refund through Paypal but they said I can't as EBAY already closed the transaction. If I was able to use a credit card this would not have happened. I always try to avoid using paypal as they do not offer much protection from scamers.

eBay bait & switch

Purchased a $12 item that was never delivered via my Visa Debit Card which paypal was responcible for a guarantee against loss!
When I never got the item, They claimed I would have to register as a member to paypal in order to receive a refund after my purchase.
This information was never disclosed before my purchase, as I would have never purchased the item under those conditions!
This was a deliberate bait and switch operation and is also known as mis-advertisement in the industry. The reason I would not register is that it gives them full access to my bank accounts and retail is about to have 25, 000 layoff from the retail trade. An employee would have access to withdraw my funds from my bank upon his notice of layoff.. Because I won't do that, they refuse to refund my money lost! which was never a condition of purchase! This is forced registration for refunds! I can provide exact copy of their PM demanding such conditions!

eBay unfair business

Ebay is a bunch of money sucking droids from us and other countries that kicked me off ebay today, I have over a 92% positive rating with them and they kicked me off indefinitely because they had 4 people say my item was not as described by only 4 customers the only warning was over a month ago they said to get my items as described up in ratings so I did that and they said this mourning that because I had 4 complaints on items as described I can no longer sell on ebay and when ever a customer had a problem it was resolved with satisfaction from buyer and me so if you thonk you can sell on ebay without paying extra for a ebay store like my friends have cause they pay extra for a ebay store they don't need to bow down to ebay so they don't get kicked off ebay is the worst for sellers +

Every single item I have purchased on E-bay has been exactly as described. If you've had 4 customers saying your items are not as described (and I note you do not dispute their claims) then I think E-bay are perfectly right to bring it to your attention. If you're going to react to criticism from customers like a spoilt child then you shouldn't be selling anyway.

AVOID eBay, it supports frauds !
I was a victim of a fraud, the tracking number given by the seller does not correspond to the item I bought, but did not receive. I have proven this, but the "customer support" stated I received the item saying the seller has convinced them I got the item, whih is a lie. THEY DID NOT OFFER ANY PROOF! I suspect someone in eBay "customer support" works together with the criminal who was registered only for a short time as seller on eBay. Such a criminal behaviour on eBay must be stopped!

eBay yallstore - took my money never send me anything

I have ordered an OMRON BP652 7 Series Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor from Yallstore on September 17, 2013. I have paid the full price of the product + shipping charges (totalling $68.89) in advance to Yallstore. I have not received the product to date. I have trusted this company because it is featured on ebay, but obviously this is an unprofessional and untrustworthy company that I have been unfortunate to deal with. I have wasted a great amount of time and money and in the end I have nothing, they won't send me the product and they won't return my money.

eBay she sells damaged item to scam

I bought a 32GB TF card in ebay from a Scammer seller and paid C$11-. Her details are:
eBay ID: qhgypchyh
Name: 玉红 黄
Tel: [protected]
Email: [protected]@163.com
Country: Zhejiang, Pujiang, China
She sent to me a card which cannot read/write/format. I sent to seller several messages, but she never reply because she already got my money.
Also It took a long time to have the card arrived. When found the problem, it's already over ebay's resolve time limit.
Though that is not much money, but I want this Bad eBay Scammer to be known to all potential buyers, so less buyer Scam by this guy. Again, this SELLER is a SCAMMER who sell Bad/Damaged items to SCAM buyers for quick money. DO NOT buy from this eBay seller/Scammer:

eBay bad customer service

ask ebay seller to cancel they refused also contacted bbb heres a letter from the president of ebay they don't even care about customer service

Hello James,

Thank you for the opportunity to address your BBB complaint today. I can only imagine your frustration with your seller who was unwilling to cancel the transaction. It sounds like you had changed your mind and no longer wanted the item and they went ahead and sent it to you anyways. I would be more than happy to take a look into this to see if anything can be done.

I would like to start by welcoming you to the site. I found that you just opened your account in April and you already have 5 feedback. It looks like you are quick to pay and that is a trait our sellers like to see in their buyers. Judging by the items you have purchased so far it looks like you are a Spongebob fan and movie buff. I am sure the Spongebob calendar will be fun to look at throughout the year.

It is unfortunate to hear that you changed your mind about the Escape From New York dvd causing you to experience this trouble with your seller. I was able to review your account and I see where you paid the seller but then emailed the seller letting them know that you changed your mind. Once you purchase an item you need to follow through unless the seller is willing to work with you. Unless the seller offers a full money back guarantee we cannot force them to cancel a transaction and accept a return of the item for a full refund. I see the listing says no returns or exchanges but the item is covered by eBay Buyer Protection. If you had received the item and it was not as described we would have been able to help, however, we do not cover buyer's remorse. I will include a link below where you can go to learn more about our buyer protection programs.

eBay Buyer Protection: http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/buyer-protection.html

As you are a newer buyer and may not be familiar with the bidding and buying process, I am going to include some helpful links for you to review.

All about buying: http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/allaboutbuying.html

Different ways of buying: http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/formats.html

Resolving buying problems: http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/protecting.html

Any time you have questions please feel free to refer to our help pages or contact our customer support. You can do this by clicking the Customer Support link at the top of most pages (you may be asked to sign in). On the Find an answer tab, choose from the Self-service tools or Popular questions, or search for a problem by keyword or topic. On the Contact eBay tab, find your topic in the menu. We'll show you a quick way you might be able to resolve the issue yourself. We'll also show you the best way to contact us and when we're available. Email, chat, and phone call options may be available in some circumstances.

While I understand this may not be the response you were hoping for James, I hope you can understand why we cannot force the seller to cancel the transaction or take the item back. At this point you have a few options; you can keep and enjoy it, gift it to someone, or resell it. I hope you find the above links helpful and I would encourage you to make sure you really want an item before purchasing it. I would like to wish you better success with your future transactions and thank you for using eBay.

Regards,

Beatrice Simmons
