eBay misleading the customers

I bought an iPhone from them. They are selling them as "Manufacturer Refurbished" but actually those are phones that are returned to Apple and Apple does not provide warranty for those phones. I check the IMEI and serial numbers, and I saw that this item was returned to Apple and not eligible for selling. They are misleading the buyers. Also, I was expecting to hear from them and now the time has passed and I cannot return the item, cannot give a feedback on eBay. I cannot even reach eBay customer support. I don't see any reason to buy something from eBay again. Although there are respectable sellers on eBay, Bidallies is definitely not one of them and eBay is not a good choice to buy an item. (Maybe it was in the past but not anymore)

LG V6 purchased on Ebay had poor signal reception. Continued to get worse until if finally died in just under 2 months. Company not interested in helping since it was past 30 days. Not recommended.

I purchase an iPhone from them on July 7th. The phone is useless because simply doesn't work! Since then I've sent various emails/messages about my issue but seem they don't care. So like that, I lost $229. Stay away of them. Biggest rip off company on eBay!

eBay 2001 toyota tacoma trd 4 door red

I emailed [protected]@gmail.com about this truck and she clammed to be going through eBay and she scammed me out of 1500$ she needs to be reported everything seemed legit but I do not want anyone else giving this person any more money! She also said that she was giving it away because of her son passing away! It was completely through email and moneygram. Do not trust this person or ad!

It’s 2022. I’m guessing it’s the same person on Facebook marketplace. Glad I googled her and found this. Sameish story. Toyota 4runner. Husband died. Trying to get rid of it. This was all through email. Definitely blocking after I have seen this.

This person is STILL using this story/truck to scam people - multiple ads on Offer Up direct you to her email where she attempts to gain your personal information so that "Ebay" can contact you. As soon as she mentioned Ebay I knew it was a scam but I am sure the page that she uses looks very realistic.

It's a 2004 Toyota Tacoma sr5, in perfect working condition, no body work or paint ever done, garage kept, no mechanical problems whatsoever.
It has low miles (101k), 3.4L-V6 Engine - 4x4, runs smooth and the automatic transmission shifts perfectly. The interior is like new.
All regular maintenance was performed at an authorized garage.
It will come with a clean and clear title under my name free from any loans or liens.
If you decide to buy it, you'll receive all the papers(including a clear title), owner's manual, keys and a notarized buy-sell contract already signed by me.
I just got divorced and the truck was awarded to me in our divorce after which I decided to pursue my military career and I moved to Jonesboro, AR from CA.
I have a low price ($1, 000) because I want to sell it in the next 10 days. I have a deployment coming up and would prefer to have my mother who is taking care of my children have the cash instead.
This Truck is very nice, we have used it just for a short time. Like new inside & out. Let me know if you have any questions. Pictures attached

eBay customer service

Ebay has the absolute worst customer service ever for both buyers and sellers. Any time there is any issue they give you the run around and won't do anything to help. As a seller, I had an instance where an empty package was returned, ebay still credited back the buyer and I had to make a complaint on the bbb to get my account credited. I mean I was out of money and my merchandise, but they weren't going to refund me. As a buyer, I recently had my account hacked and called immediately when I noticed to report a transaction. Instead of just canceling the transaction and being done with it, they give you a whole run around. They did an "investigation" that showed I was indeed hacked and put notes to my account and said I would not be responsible. Roll around to today and I have an unpaid item case opened on me for that item. I contact ebay again and spent at least an hour on the phone being transferred ultimately getting nowhere other than getting a big headache and more work. How you ask? Well i'm also a seller and one of the reps sent some email for "unauthorized account use" and removed thirty-one of my listings. This wasn't even discussed in any way, shape or form. My only issue was with the item that was purchased. So I had to go back to relist those items myself. I requested some sort of credit to my seller account for the headaches they caused and they refused. It's also pretty crappy that sellers are only allowed to leave positive feedback, yet buyers can leave false feedback. I have a good rating as a seller, however, I had one buyer threatening me using feedback if I didn't do this that or the other, which is a clear violation in ebays terms. Guess what?! Ebay didn't honor their terms - then again they never do. I used to absolutely love ebay, but now, this company is garbage. They don't care about customer service at all and that's on both ends. If you can find somewhere else to go, you'd be better off than dealing with this crooked company.

eBay ebay scammer

I contacted eBay and reported a fraudulent seller which is a real thieve and he stole my money. And I'm not the only victim, a lot of users were scammed and robbed my that scam artists! I sent them all the information I had and I was expecting eBay to help, but they did nothing and they did not even reply to my message! Only once I received a message from them but that was just a spam and had nothing to do with my issue. This is terrible, that there are actual thieves on eBay and they are allowed to do their shady business and eBay moderators simply don't care. I lost over $200 because of them! I will not use eBay ever again, because in my opinion this site is not safe and there a lot of scammers there!

eBay trying to return an item to china that did not fit.

On Sunday 1/22/2017, I contacted ebay needing help to return an item I purchased that was too small for me. I ordered it from China and the seller wanted me to pay to have it sent back. The first two ladies were very nice and walked me through what they wanted to try to do to get the item back to the seller and have him pay the shipping. I did what was needed (upload pictures showing the size from different angles and at 5:24 PM I called ebay back. I got a guy this time and he is telling me that the shirt is the size it is supposed to be because the measurements given by seller is in CM and not American sizes (which I believe he was wrong about the way he interpreted the sizes and then he said I should just try to sell the item to someone who could wear it instead of trying to send it back. It was really not his place to suggest to me what I need o do with the item because that was not the reason I called ebay. I could tell he really was not interested in offering any solutions as far as helping me get the item back. MAYBE EBAY SHOULD HAVE GIVEN HIM THE DAY OFF BECAUSE HE CERTAINLY DID NOT SEEM INTERESTED IN HIS JOB. Next time please tell him to stick to the script and if someone wants his opinion, we will ask for it.

I was told to return the battery for a refund but the return shipping was not covered which will cost me $6.45 which is over half the cost of the battery, making the return unfeasible. I selected not to return the battery but to just purchase the one with the correct tip on it. Today on dec.23, 2016 I just purchased another, [protected], ni-cd 6v 900mah rechargeable battery for led solar light power syp aa5sw us; and I was not offered the option of selecting which tip was to be placed on it. At this time I am notifying you that I want the tip jst smp on this battery. Now being that company randomly sold me a battery with the wrong tip the jst-syp on the previous battery I purchased the seller should refund me the $10.90 spent in purchasing the previous battery. If they want the previous battery returned to them they should cover the shipping costs. It was their fault the wrong battery was sent to me.

But started misconstruing matters related in the letter, saying that the reason the refund would not be allowed that it was returned because of buyer's remorse. I told her I did not select that as the reason for the return and again I told her that the wrong item had been sent to me in that the battery had the wrong tip on it and that had nothing to do with remorse. I then asked to speak with a supervisor and she first refused then agreed. But returned saying no supervisor was available. I sought to reason with her but she was very un - reasonable and the cal was ended at approximately 2:45 pm.

I just checked out the 2nd order and the seller has cancelled the order rather than fill it... Now I contacted him on the same day immediately after the order was placed and told him what tip I needed. Rather than fill the order he refused to do so... Yet I still have not been refunded the monies spent on the battery that tip was randomly selected for.

Ebay should instruct Pitney Bowes Co. to verify correctly the import duties… because as I mentioned already this is legal robbery!
I would be very pleased to be refunded the $25.- which Pitney Bowes extracted from my PayPal account.

I did not mention the charge of $40.90 charges by Pitney Bowes Inc. / Ebay to cover the transport costs of the seller in the USA
The cost of the transport from the USA to Thailand were clear… $10, 95.
In case Ebay will not admit this kind of abuse… your place is clearly between the abusing parties!

Import duties… over-charged with 127%
Shipping cost… over-charged with more than 400%

I consider the extraction of $25.- as theft… as it has nothing to do with the by Ebay mentioned obligation to pay import duties to the Government…

This article of Change.org is circulating on the Internet and explains clearly the problem!

Ebay's Global Shipping Programs' only use is to illegally gouge and steal money from non-US customers. Any time an American Ebay retailer sells an item to someone outside the USA, some company called Pitney Bowes blindly adds a %15 charge to the item's final value, on top of the sellers shipping and handling fees, for no apparent reason. The buyer has no option to opt out of this bogus service. These unfair and unjust fees are forced on the buyer illegally. It's nothing but a scam and Canadians are tired of being taken advantage of!
It has nothing to do with shipping or handling. We know this because the seller takes the item to a USPS Post Office, the same as they always did. There is no way USPS would know to forward this particular piece of mail to some third party handler, as opposed to any other piece of mail. They simply deliver this item as they do any other item, for the normal rate. As well, this has nothing to do with taxes or duties. Pitney Bowes just blindly adds a fee to any item's final price, regardless of the item's tax eligibility. In many cases, there is NO TAX to be charged on a particular parcel, however this does not seem to make any difference.
Ebay and Paypal. Shame on you for allowing PITNEY BOWES to money-grab your customers. This should be illegal, but unfortunately we will have to sue Ebay, Paypal and Pitney Bowes for fraud in a class-action lawsuit. It is horrendous that a company allows a third party to steal from their customers like this.

eBay blacklisted, icloud, locked stolen iphone - jianwang777

Jian wang aka Ebay user id jianwang777 is selling stolen, icloud, blacklisted, unpaid balance iphones under for parts/ broken however in his description says they will activate an carriers and even assures you in private messages before the purchase. When you open a case all they care about is the condition he listed it as. This guy is a thief and is selling stolen stuff on eBay and needs to get shut down. Search his user name on google, he's been doing this for years.

I have opened a dispute for the payment I made to Paulius Civilka, this scammer sell nothing he pretend that he will register your domain name but actually just steal your money and pretend he delivered the product since he has just to say so to ebay and ebay will beleive it .
I contacted ebay they didnt listen to my complaint and the most frustating thing they deleted the purchase that I have made and the evaluation from my list and closed the dispute wih no refund .
the most stupid answer I hade is that they closed the dispute because the seller have provided the exact description of the product and I wanted to know or at least to explain in comprhensive manner wish product they are talking about, ?did they check if he delivered my domain registration we are talking about a virtual item that can be verified easily but they did nothing . worst customer support ever I am the victim here so I contacted paypal and they forced this scambug to refund end of story
ebay is unreliable and as a customer who buys product with my own money I will try something else my advise try those who let the comments of other user on products at least scambag like this will be exposed and will no longer make other victims like in ebay who delete your evaluation .

eBay management service

My family and I sit down the manager the name of zane and the host was very disrespectful to one of the service told the young lady that he hate her and that she is a fat b* when I observed the server she was pregnant. I felt so bad that I had to walk out because I lost my appetite. The management it's very unprofessional this is unacceptable that rudy tuesday have a management like this running this restaurant. This is not the first time that I observe his behavior. He should be fired or written up.

eBay sell

1. Tried to fill a new item sell page in Google Chrome and it stuck on thinking forever!
2. Switched to MS edge, no freezing, but numerous errors when tried to upload various image (a stupid mandatory requirement): "Some of your photos do not comply with our policy"!
3. Bug in UX - eventually managed to upload a photo, but the RED WARNING message ("Some of your photos do not comply with our policy") remained!
4. Contacted ebay chat support and eventually spent more than an hour resolving this issues!
Think twice before posting an item to sell on Ebay!

eBay horrible attitude!

I'm extremely disappointed with Ebay! I was their loyal customer for a long time and recently got scammed! Ordered something from a seller on Ebay and never received my order! No matter how hard I've tried to reach the seller he ignored all my messages. But the worst part here is Ebay customer service! They were always helpful and kind, but this time they said that there is nothing they could do and that's all! Horrible attitude!

eBay new slim padded sequin women gown long sleeves evening prom party formal dress

I wanted to order a sequim from ebay but it was not available. I contacted the seller to make it available but they said it will not be available there and I have to buy from them directly. They sent me a paypal link through which I paid. The dress value was $60 and then addition they charged for delivery i.e $9. After it reached, the delivery person demanded for another INR 1500 (approx $23 ) and said if we wont pay, them they will not deliver the dress. I contact seller but they said, they dont know anything about it and I have to pay. So the dress of $60 finally ended to me at $82.
Now comes to dress, the dress was of really low quality, the size was far different from what is ordered, at least 2 sizes bigger. Now when we are asking for the return, they are not answering and saying send back the dress, now they are not confirming who will pay the shipping charges and the extra charges incurred to me.
Now they are not even replying to my mails.

eBay price guarantee

I listed an iPhone 6 on eBay that was in nearly flawless condition as an "excellent" condition used phone and describing every mark on the phone and describing the phone as accurately as possible. eBay guaranteed my phone would sell for at least $352 and if not they would provide a store credit for any difference in final sell price. Throughout the entire 7 day duraction of the auction the site listed my auction as eligible for the $352 price guarantee. After the auction ended and the phone sold for $277 I received no notice or information from eBay. I decided to call eBay. The first customer service representation told me I would receive the price difference within 2 business days. After 3 days and still having not received the voucher I contacted eBay again. This time eBay informed me they decided on the 10th day and 3 days after the auction ended that they were no longer going to honor their price guarantee since they now decided an "excellent" condition used phone cannot have a single mark on it. No where on the listing site or in the price guarantees terms and conditions does eBay describe what "excellent" means for a used iPhone. I knew this which is why I chose to provide a very detailed written description of the phones condition so that he buyer would not be surprised or disappointed in any way. I believe eBay is arbitrarily creating retroactive requirements for their listings in order to not provide guarantees their give their sellers to encorruage them to use eBay to begin with. eBay had 8 days to inform me they would not honor the price guarantee before I shipped the phone. They chose to make no effort to contact me. I am incredibly disappointed by the complete lack of customer service from eBay. I never thought I would have to worry about being lured into lisiting a phone with eBay with a false promotion that the company chose not to honor. I sold my phone for a much lower price than I would've gotten from any other site because of eBay's lack of service. Next time I will use Gazelle which very clearly shows what an "excellent" condition phone looks like on their listing service. I am providing the actual pictures and description from the listing which eBay told me did not qualify as "excellent" post sale.

eBay bad experience

Hello!
I've purchased a Halloween costume from a seller on eBay over a month ago and after I paid he stopped replying to my messages. I never received any confirmations or tracking number, and I have no idea where my order is. I was supposed to receive it already. I sent over 10 messages, but heard nothing back. I also tried to get some help from eBay but they said that I need to discuss everything with the seller. I have already opened a dispute with PayPal and hope they'll be able to get my money back. I'm very disappointed with eBay. I used it for a long time now and this was the worst experience I've ever had.

Seller VINTAGENESGAMING on Ebay used a scammy seller tactic on my for a purchase. ey ###, I was flying across the country due to a death in the family, and they canceled my order since i didnt pay within two minutes! Somthey sold me an item, agreed to the sale, then when i landed and tried to make payment FROM THE AIRPORT, because this seller is impatient and will scam you, they decided to cancel my order because they said someone else bought it! That means they list multiple listings on ebay and have none of the it es or significantly less of the items. To top it all of, they left ME bad feedback, i am the buyer! I tried to pay, but he canceled my order!
Avoide this scammy Ebay seller, who goes by vintagenesgaming!

My brother, raul bobet, order an item from ebay.com/seller, adam pace. The item is # [protected], price is: $19.99, date on the sale: july 20, 2016. The item name is 2004 power rangers bandai morpher red thunder wristband motion senseing. My brother order the item and received the damages: do not work. Ebay.com open the refund account and closed on a day, without return my money of $22.98, and, the seller send an email to with some disrespectful word and ebay, com will not help me.

eBay ebay's own scams

EBAY sends me deals on selling items with a reduced selling fee rate often and I have used some of them. The latest one they sent me said a $1 selling fee. I sold an item and they charged me their usual 10% selling fee. I disputed it with my credit card company, which they arrogantly ignored, and sent me another bill. So I called them (India). The wait was 28 minutes for a callback. They denied that they sent the email. They did send it because it links directly to my account to pay them or else. They claim it was a spoofed email and told me to send it to [protected]@ebay.com. If it was then why are the beneficiaries of the spoof? Follow the money and everything leads to EBAY. Their auto reply to sending it to them reads to go to "My Messages" for anything from them. This is incorrect as it should be "MY eBay, then MESSAGES" They never before warned about doing this. Their list only goes back to May 31. How convenient for them as their original emails were earlier in May.
This is both greed and fraud. EBAY cannot be trusted and the corporate officers should serve hard time.
