EasyHome never ever again

It now 9:20am and I've been at work since 7:00am. My neighbor just called me in a panic saying that this guy from easyhome just threatened and told her to go back inside and mind her own f'in business. Her house is attached to mine so she was super scared. Plus my dogs were going crazy at this point because the man was banging for 20 minutes before my neighbor even came out to say something. My other neighbor who is not attached to my house just heard the dogs and called animal control! So it's 9:30am now and I have 1 scared neighbor, 1 pissed off neighbor and animal control at my house. This is not the first time he has done this and the worst part was, in the beginning he would bang and bang and bang and when I answered the door I would tell him that I paid online and that I don't owe anything and he would stand there holding my front door open while he checked. Then he would say ok and just leave! Are u kidding me, not even a sorry for bothering u! After the 4th time i had enough with this guy from easy home.. what's the point of paying online if a fool is still gonna show up and bang the door plus ring the door bell at the same time for 15 - 20 minutes. I've been paying for this stupid couch for almost 4 years and it's still not paid off and when i asked how much to just buy it out they said $500. I might as well just keeping monthly because it adds up to almost the same thing... NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN will I ever get anything from easyhome! And trust me if I see this man near my house I'm calling the cops! I think his name is Jerome.

EasyHome leasing furniture

So a year ago I purchased a basic queen size bedroom set. It was used by at least 2 months not brand new. When the first customer returned the product Easyhome didn't refund them some of the $700.00 deposit they first put down they allowed them to keep it. I walked in and put down almost $1, 000.00 deposit. I then paid $100.00/week for several months once the deposit was up. That's way more then what the per week price is. Now by my understanding that basic set should already have been paid off. Let's break this down mathematically. Used basic Queen size bedroom set $700.00 from first customer 2 months later - No refund Almost $1, 000.00 from me $100.00 / week/ month from me $1, 600.00 in payments Total for bed set: $3, 200.00 roughly for 1 product So Easyhome on Dundurn and Main St here in Hamilton, Ontario has collected that $3, 200.00 for that 1 product. Keep in mind that it's used not brand new. I honestly thought that it was already paid off. I stared to receive harassing Facebook messages, harassing calls and voicemails, the employeees trying to send me Facebook friend requests to get into my personal friends list, pounding on my door when I'm at work and disturbing my neighbours, one of the times I saw them at my house I pulled up in my car as I was heading out and the guy was rude and tried to order me like a police officer to pull over my vehicle and he threatened to take my SUV as collateral. I own my car I bought it outright so taking my car won't be happening. I finally had enough and decided to call the head office and now waiting for the regional manager for that area whose name is "George" to call me back with some kind of response and resolution. Easyhome has made their profits and then some already off of this used basic bedroom set and I should already own it. For the retail value of this set at the used price (since it was used when I got it) and for what I have already paid and the $700.00 that they never refunded to the first person, I should already own it. They can't keep billing me like it's a brand new top of the line set because it's not. Also trying to say I owe them $900.00 in less then 3 weeks is not even possible. They are power and money hungry people who just want to scam their customers. Well I'm an educated customer and I know better and know my consumer rights. I'm not allowing them to get away with this behaviour. We need laws for these companies like they already do In Manitoba. Something seriously needs to be done!

EasyHome sofa/ loveseat

Hi there I'm just writing to you about the sofa and love seat I purchase from easyhome, when it was brought here the first time it was broke and I waited a week to get it replaced, the second set they delivered same thing it was broke same spot as well and I
Told the delivery guy that and he just end up leaving it hear and said he would tell the lady in the office. I called her up and she said they can deliver another oner or exchange for
Something else, I said bring same
One
And she said they have one in and it's not broken, well when they set it up I
Noticed it was ripped so
Now I'm devastated, I got off work early to be home when they delivered the furniture and now I have to deal with this again, this is going on the fourth time. I hope you can help me out in anyway, sell me this set the way it is or something for what I've been through, this is just rediculous. Please do something for me.

EasyHome red deer alberta - easyhome - jessica

You have an employee named Jessica (wouldn't give me her last name.) who was incredibly ignorant towards me. It was a mistake made over and over by the management, specifically Jamie (who apparently lies about me claiming I would make a payment on a day when the actually agreement was the money was to be directly pulled from my account. Which is where all the problems lie because they can't get their crap together to pull payment on the proper days. ) she was rude, would not listen to me about they payments, called me a liar, told me no when I said I was done and To come pick up the product as I'm not dealing with their incompetence any longer and told me to call back when I was in a better mood and hung up on me. Absolutely worst customer service. I will recommend against family and friends from using this service in the future. And although I doubt you will do anything to correct this I felt others should know. I will be making this public as well as contacting the head office in this regard.

EasyHome management store 570

I am literally disgusted with the service at the Easyhome location on Dundas St. London On. I went into the store to fix my account. The store manager insisted that I needed to return the 2 laptops until I am able to pay them. I complained to head office & I have communicated with them via email. The regional manager did reach out to me & I returned his call twice on Friday with no response.
It is insane that today both devices are frozen despite me contacting them. Something needs to be done to resolve this situation ASAP.

EasyHome easy home accounts manager

To whom this may concern, I have recently had a very unpleasant experience with your Miramichi accounts manager Robin Ellis-Jesso. She has threatend me via facebook over an unpayed account of mine that i have with them, yes they have tried to contact me but i was not home at the times of the calls or house visits, I am a mother of 5 young children and there fore i have appointments and places to be on multiple occasions.. Today Saturday Febuary 25th 2017 Easy Home from miramichi went to my place of residence and banged on my door for almost 3 hours blocked my driveway and harrased my company.. I was not home at the time of their visit my boyfriend was and he is not involved with easy home what so ever his name is not on the account and his address is not at my home because he lives with his parents not with me. After about 3 hours i received a nast message from Robin via facebook threatening to call cops social services and nb housing monday morning to get her stuff back, I really dont appreciate these kinds of threats and dont think they are very professional from her part to be honest, judging ones parenting because of a few missed payments with easy home is not very professional... I then went on to message her on facebook and explained to her my situation pregnancy complications in December etc etc and offered to then work out a payment for March 20th 2017 and she refused, and choose to be snobby with me and continue to judge me and my parenting skills.. I have saved all the msgs between Robin and I incase of furture issues.. After all the arguing via facebook I then still offered to pay them March 20th and she refused once again. I explained to her my situation and y i was so behind etc etc but that didnt matter to her she refused to listen and continued to be non understanding and called me a thief I told her I was not a thief that i hadnt went into the store and stolen the furniture that they had delivered it to my place of residence there was a difference she blew that way out of proportion... anyways like i said before I am still willing to make a payment on march 20th 2017... And for the future I think Mrs.Robin should think before acting especially when it comes to threatening clients I am seriously thinking about contacting the police myself.. Feel free to email me back anytime...Also I have enclosed a snapped picture of the message she sent me today down below... I just blocked out my other contacts for their own privacy thank you your's truly Ashley Brun

EasyHome furniture

I rent a bunk bed frame, a double bed full set, and queen mattress. I've recently stopped working and although I'm still making payments regardless, I've been physically assaulted, harassed, and threatened. So I will continue paying my bill but seeing as they like the to text me constantly and call and pound on my door, I have started replying and risen above their intimidation. Needless to say, Ronnie isn't too pleased and has threatened to punch my face in. Good job easyhome. I'm not one to not pay my bills so you'll still get paid, but good luck if they actually do go to court, they stole my box springs from my own beds when installing the bunk beds. These were owned by me, not via easyhome. And the frames. Also the bunk beds are broken and they refused to replace them. I was in good standing at this time. Also my bed came without a box spring or frame, covered in stains. I was paying for my bunk beds weeks before even having received them. Ronnie claims I am pissing him off. He's the manager. Thankfully I have a sense of humour but it appears he does not.

EasyHome unethical behavior

On Jan 13th I called Easyhome to make payment arrangements due to be being off work for health reasons. I was told that I needed to return my merchandise immediately or I would go to Collections. On Jan 16th at my JOB 2 employees of Easy Home came in to "Speak" to me. Today...same thing. I informed them that it is against the Law to Harrass me at my job. I Refuse to be harassed at work. This is Harrassment! I have tried working with them to come up with a solution. But now I am fed up with the treatment I have been given by this company. They have also gone to my residence to pick up my things after the payment pnly being late for 2 days! NOT RIGHT! I also know one of the employees as he used to be an employee of mine. So Slander is also an issue.

EasyHome unprofessional, rude, poor service @ 2151 st. clair branch

I have been a customer with this branch from very customer service of douglas then was change to rocsan. I have been please of how they treated me.. however recently they've change thier staff in this branch... who is unable to give a dawm about customer service...
Please sir... i dont know how did u became manager.. take a course or training... ppl like u shouldn't be there... without me or the ppl that are leasing how are u gonna get paid...
Review my file how many items i have paid... and how lease at the same..

EasyHome bedroom set

Watch out for this company, first they had a great sale and processing fees, I took advantage of this part . I picked up used bedroom set and schedule delivery for Tuesday at 2 to 3 pm in Port Dover . All good until first thing I notice when I was going to pay the bill online it said 74 weeks n0t that advertise 52 weeks I agree on, I called said no it said 52 weeks forget it I wont take it, bal bal apology ill fix it for you . I made the payment waited till Monday and I disposed of my old mattress and bedroom set and got time off from work ! I called at 900 to confirm on Tuesday and no return call and again I called at 1130 and no return call again I called at 100pm and the assistant mention didn't Tracy call you back, Said no ! Well they cant deliver today because of the fair ! WTF ! We had agreement for Tuesday, they mention maybe Wednesday after 300pm, which it was impossible as I already switch my Tuesday hrs for Wednesday, now they said maybe Saturday ! BS I have no bed . I'm so pissed if I said no I wont pay you till next week they will harass you to death with threats of taking things away and calling your references .. Moral of this is read the contract, don't assume that Easy-home is Honest . I should rent a room send it to corporate-office for nit having a bed, , , , , , , ,

EasyHome living room set

We are rent to owning a living room set from easy home and when we first went to get everything started up we ask for the payments to be every two weeks the guy said he would do that the payments were never set for 2 weeks then they call you and harass you before the payments or even late that you need to come make a payment. The TV stand that we received was missing a shelf and they would have never told me anything had I not noticed it and called them and told them they needed to order one. My husband and I had to leave out of state due to his father passing away and easy home could not understand that we would not be able to come in and make a payment until we got back. Mind we have never missed a payment. The supervisor made threats to my husband about pressing charges for theft and then tried bullying him this made my husband so pissed off that he now wants even him to come get their furniture and they have until a certain time and if they're not here within that time he's placing everything outside. I would not recommend this company to anyone due to the fact that everything in the store it's pretty much used and worn and you can tell it is. You're paying way too much for used furniture.plus the supervisor and a couple workers are rude. Cory that works there is awesome. He's the only one my husband liked dealing with.

EasyHome trying to get product

I wanted to offer my personal experience with Easyhome over the past month. I hope that this experience will steer people away from this company and their staff. I do want to stress that this is a CORPORATE store. The reason I am stressing this is because franchise stores might be better. About a month ago I went into the Welland Avenue location in St Catharines Ontario. Due to my inability to make decisions on furniture, I wanted to rent something that would work for us until the new year and I could focus on what I want in my living room. The idea was I would rent a living room set and if I liked it I would just buy it out and if I didn't I would get what I wanted and return the set. The majority of my issues came from Crystal. She was inconsistent in contacting me back - she always "lost" my phone number or a manager threw it out or any number of excuses. It got to the point that on last sunday, I went into the location because they were open and low and behold, there was Crystal. After 25 minutes in the store, with her inability to fill out my application on the computer, copying my drivers license 3 times because she "couldn't get the colour right" and having my information disappear on the screen over and over, I said I would come back another day. I politely made conversation as I was leaving under the context of "I am going home to relax, have a good night" - where she proceeded to tell me she has 3 kids, 14, 9, 4 and she drinks in her bathroom getting ready to go to the club on saturday night and was upset she couldn't do it the night before because she was "forced" to work. She told me that her ex wanted custody in Nova Scotia and she doesn't want him to find out about her drinking fun. She ended up telling me more about her life but that should give you an idea of what I had to listen to just to get out of the store. After leaving, I decided on Monday I would call the head office and file my complaint - WOW what an ordeal that was... Finally speaking to the Regional VP for District 1, she told me that Kevin would help me in the store. Which he did and I must say he was nothing but professional, respectful, honest, and a great guy to deal with. However, he kept getting pushed around looking for answers on various questions I was expressing. It is now 7pm, and Easyhome is asking for my COMPANY financial statements (cause I am self employed) - they are asking for 5 total references because I gave them non-local references (which I am ok with) - and, on top of it all, they were not even willing to offer a customer service discount on the first payment just to show me they cared. This company seems to be filled with personal drama and people who do not know their job description (except Kevin, whom again... is AMAZING but was limited in authority). If you have ANY other options where you live to rent/lease what you need - I would suggest entertaining it - because this company is only in the business of collecting information illegally. Which brings me to my last point - they asked for my SIN number, which by CANADIAN LAW they cannot demand - but did... I finally had to remind them the law states they can't which made them back down - but it was extremely uncomfortable. I hope that this post saves at least 1 person from the hell Easyhome causes. If they delete this post, I will just post it again on other sites and venues. I am also sending it over to the BBB for both Niagara and Mississauga. EasyHome furniture, unethical behavior

They harassed me, my references and my babysitter. I was a couple days late and they went three houses down to where my babysitter was with my baby and started harassing her asking her when she was going to pay them and she said that is not me and they said yes it is, your neighbor said it was you so when are you going to pay, they kept on for about twenty minutes until one of my neighbors came out and confirmed that it indeed was the babysitter not the homeowner that they were harassing. The next day they came by with the general manager and told my husband that they needed the payment today and they were not leaving without the money or the merchandise, so my husband said take it. They went to the washer and dryer and threw everything that was on top of there onto the floor they knocked the pictures off the wall, put a hole in my wall, and broke my clothes hamper. We gave them the merchandise back they did not have to vandalize my home in the process. Would not recommend anyone doing business with the store in Lawton, Oklahoma

EasyHome computer

I have a computer that I have paid in full through easyhome. I recently started up a photography business. I was using the laptop to do all my editing and what not with regards to my photos, I had numerous templates and customer photos on it. I updated to windows 10, and a week later my computer locks up saying its stolen and that If I don't contact easyhome within 48 hours I will be implemented in stolen property charges, I called them immediately and they said that the serial number was probably improperly noted on the acct. I brought in my computer to the store and told the manager several times that I had very important documents on the computer that I needed to have back. She said that she would bypass regular protocol & bring it to someone local to have it fixed. I was ok with this...5 weeks later I still had no laptop. Get a call the day its back and my husband goes to pick it up, I turned it on and they wiped my computer clean...all my documents and programs that I had paid good money for are gone! I tried to call the manager and she lied saying my files are there...I was furious, Asked to speak to the district manager and she would not give me contact information for...I had to call another store and speak to another rep who assured me he would have the manager call me back. How is it fair that their anti-theft program is left on the computer after the service is paid for, and that I am loosing money by having to replace programs, some photos are completely erased and now I have to explain to clients that they are gone. makes me look bad and I am not standing for it!

EasyHome abuse harassment and adding fees

Stay away from rohan and curtis. They are very unprofessional and abusive.
Don't deal with easy home at all. And if you have no other choices than don't deal with the franchise at jane and finch in toronto.
They will bully and harass you
They will add on extra late fees (After they terminate your lease agreement it will still accumulate) which I may add is illegal.
I myself had to consult with a lawyer
Also you will have a number calling you from the states, because easy home is owed by the usa
So technically here in canada a sheriff can't do crap
They can't come to your door without first telling you, which they did to me and my hubby, one employee even tried walking into our home. Illegal not even the police can walk in without a warrant.
They call you 5-7 times a day (Most of the time it's from a blocked caller) which is also not allowed.
My payment was one day late and I tried to arrange a payment schedule to pay back my late payment. Instead I was told there repoing my stuff and coming whether or not if I was home or not.
My husband and my self were both yelled at and called lies
I even worked out a payment plan through head office, everything was going good until a certain someone stopped that payment from me and said he wanted almost 1, 200$ or he couldn't except any payments.
So he refused my payments.
My best advice dont deal with easy home they are corrupt and abusive and will take advantage of you.
Go to aaron's or rent a center because they are better
Screw easy home and there abusive employees.

Bought equipment from easy home and now they phone my house to sell me stuff. Some days three or four times a day. Woke me up at eight thirty in the morning even. This is just plain ridiculous.

EasyHome scam artists

I have been Easyhome for a few years as we needed new Product ( keeping vague) we knew they over charged and with having student loans and other financial restrictions I found this our only option. After finally receiving my products I attempted to return one after about 17 months and was given hassle over it as they did not want to take it back. This not a leasing company and I am tired of this being treated like its a rent to own. This company should be what it is. A Rental company. Plain and simple. These guys are nothing but scam artists trying to get an overly charged quick buck.

EasyHome customer loses money due to employees mistake

I was getting an increase to my existing loan and everything was going well until they started loading the credit card. he made a mistake by pushing the wrong button on the phone which declared it lost or stolen. there's a $10 fee for that in which he did offer to pay out of his pocket. turns out he couldn't issue me a new card on the spot because when it's declared lost or stolen, one is automatically sent in the mail and you can't stop that so I have to wait 7-10 days. that's one problem. then I asked why I should be paying the higher interest rate on the next payment when I don't have the increase yet, which is a $60 difference, he said he was able to clear $30 off 1 payment. so I'm losing $30 for his mistake! the customer shouldn't have to lose money over an employee mistake! waiting the extra time was bad enough!

EasyHome switching my stove

i have a stove that needs to be repaired or switched. i asked them in late October of 2013 if they can fix it and they said yes than a month went by and nothing. So i asked again when i came in to make a payment and they told me the same thing ...well a few MONTHS went by and they told me the same thing (we can just switch it for another one just like it) well i was getting frustrated that they said they will call and no word. so i decide to not come in to make my monthly payment and they called not about my stove but about a payment they called 4 to 5 times a day about my payment ( I was only 3 days late paying) i went in to pay and they tell me the same c*** about my stove its been about 4 months now ...so get this now easy home is trying to make me get a hold of a customer of thier's that isnt making payment ...i have nothing to do with this person and if i do they said they can come switch my stove if i do get a hold of them? really can they do that? wow am i pissed off. i told them i dont talk with this person and cant find them so than they tell me if i do they will give me 2 months free rent on my stuff. i dont care about 2 free month

EasyHome misquoted price.

My dilemma is that when I had been contacted by the Young street location. They had advised me of a promotion that if I were to come into their location as a returning customer they would give me the first month free.(Payment and any interest).I had been considering looking for a new couch so I opted to go into the store and check it out.
 
When I arrived I met with the gentleman who I had spoken with on the phone. I believe his name was Jason. From my understanding he had been fired a month after I purchased the couch last November.
 
My wife and I were looking at the floor models and were interested in getting something new that had not been previously owned, and preferably something micro suede.
 
We were then advised by Jason that there were some items out back in the loading dock they were trying to get rid of if we were interested; it would be a cheaper option. We figured we would check it out.
 
After being showed a few couches that we were not interested in, there was a five piece leather sectional he had taken us to. He then advised that they were getting rid of it outright for $9XX.00  (I cannot recall the exact amount.
 
I had then told him we did not have the cash on us to buy it outright.  He had then mentioned that we could lease it over a period of time on a payment plan.  Noticing the dings and scrapes, I was not interested.  I was looking for a new un-used piece of furniture. He had then said to me (and here is the important part). That he would give it to us for the retail price. The $9XX.00 over a period of a year and a half.  (No interest at all), and advised us that there were markers we could buy to cover the scrapes and dings.  Otherwise I would have picked up one of the other new models.  To be honest I don’t even like the one I’m paying for, but I thought I was getting a good deal.
 
I had wondered why the payments were so high, and after doing some math I had come to the conclusion that this couch should be close to being paid off if it hadn’t been already.
 
This is why I called looking for the remaining balance, as I was going to pay it off.  When I was quoted that the full price of the couch was $1400 and was advised that there was interest when I was previously advised otherwise, this raised a huge red flag for me.
 
I am aware of the buyout option before 90 days.  I had purchased a TV from the Young street location before. Which I had problems with them then as well. They phone and harass you the day of the due payment before it is even the end of the day and showed up at my door looking to take my TV when I had one payment left on the day the payment was due. But that is another horror story.  I had reiterated with the salesman that this would not be the case.
 
The deal was, the first month free.  $9XX.00, (no interest) over a year and a half.
 
I didn't feel I should make another payment until this had been resolved in the event that I will be then overpaying for the unit.  I had been lied to.
 
I work in customer service and know how far a bad experience can taint a business’ image.  After all it’s all about the customer experience.
 
I had spoken with them on the phone and was told a manager was going to call me back which didn't happen. Instead I received an email asking for the payment. I had then emailed back stating my case and hoped we could come to some sort of a resolve.

They ended up knocking off about $200 but I still overpaid. I was done with the back and forth.

I had then sent my mother in to pay off the account and they were rude a belligerent to her and told her they would not be doing business with me anymore. Probably because I didn't take their crap they lay on all of their customers.

Very unprofessional. I will be sure that the Clayton Park location will go out of business by word of mouth like the Young street location as they have salespeople who lie. Probably getting commission.

Beware when leasing from EasyHome.

Wow that's unbelievable! The location we deal with has done the same thing to me. They had a couch on sale for $11 a week so I got it. After everything was said & done & the couch was delivered, I paid a month & the processing fee, a few months later I ask why am I paying so much money( I also have a bedroom set & a tv), she starts reading everything off & tells me my couch is $22 & not $11...

I hate Easyhome! They are rude loud mouth bullies who love to harass even when payments aren't late!

Don't deal with them, you will eventually regret it !

EasyHome harassment /not honoring the policy of insurance

WERE DO I START ! It all started on Jan 15 when i had an accident at work... I contacted EASY HOME to advise Them about The event and had told Them i was put off work until my physio was done... OK my account wasn't up to date but i fixed That problem... Since day one EASY HOME had all my doctor's papers and didn't do noThing about it cause i had an issue to fix and was done... On march 23 my account was fine and up to date ...(its only normal ppl can run into some financial problems) I get a phone call on march 24Th saying That The doctor's paper weren't VALID.! I Don't understand how a DOCTOR'S PAPER WITH SIGNATURE AND LICENSE NUMER isn't valid... I was informed That EASY HOME was gonna received papers for my doctor to sign ... NO PROBLEM... IT TOOK 6 WEEKS FOR THEM TO GET THESE PAPERS...ONCE again my account was up to date on April 6 still no papers had arrived... I get a phone call from JOSEE CLERMONT ... nice at The beginning Then ... when you explain The situation cause she just arrived at That store... she called me a ROBBER ... ON WELFARE ... LIER... I CALLED HEAD OFFICE RIGHT AWAY ... NOW apparently They say to never had receivedd my papers from Jan 15... IT'S ALL LIES ...A mister ROBERT TANGUER too photocopies of all medical records... I DON'T KNOW HOW A STORE CAN LOSE SUCH IMPORTANT PAPERS LIKE THAT ... NOW ... Today i get a phone call from APPRENTLY a manager There( managers at This store come and go every monTh)...His name is SEBASTIEN... All calm tells me " well we have to take an arrangement for The items..." I ANSWERED him "well right now its The head office dealing wiTh This file"... LAUGHED IN MY FACE AND SAID" THATS WHAT YOU THINK... ILL GIVE YOU TILL MONDAY IN YOUR OWN LITTLE FANTASY WORLD TO GET BACK TO ME OR ILL SEND THE COPS AT YOUR DOOR..." Now Monday morning ill have to make anoTher complaint against This manager SEBASTIEN... I've had enough wiTh The harassment everyday and calling PRIVATE Thinking That wiTh The number of The store we don't answer...(This Montreal store had got to stop harassing ppl and Thinking my treating ppl There gonna get There way...) THEY NEED TO KNOW THAT HEAD OFFICE IS HIGHER THEN THESE LITTLE ### STORES ...
