On May 20th 2010 I rented a 42 inch Plasma T.V. from Easyhome. The total price of the USED T.V. was 949.00 with a one year contract. When They wrote up the contract and I got home I noticed they tried to screw me, the contact was for a new t.v. even the serial number was diffrent from the T.V. I wanted. The contract was for 2698.80 and was for three years. I finally got that fixed and had my new contract. I was over half paid off when we decided to move and since I paid the insurance protection coverage and with that easy home can come and move the T.V. for me. we stayed at the new house and left the T.V. hidden in our apertment until the next day, that night there was a water leak from our apartment to the downstairs apartment and the fire department was called, anyway they enterd our place through the patio doors and did not lock it when they left. Someone after that came into the apartment and took the t.v. and went out the back door with it. I called the police have a report and the police even said the firemen noticed there were people across the street watching them until they left. But anyways I have been paying all the insurance on the T.V for theft and now they say I can come and rent a new t.v. but have to start from scratch. They got a new T.V. from their insuranse and they get to keep all the money I paid on it, I DONT THINK SO. What was I paying insurance for, it did not help me at all. They got everything back but I am out over 600.00 plus all of the insurance money I was paying them. Now they are trying to say I only payed 400.00 on it BULL-S#$*!. I rented the T.V. In may 2010 the T.V. was taken December 2010. the payments were 19.00 per week and I paid for 8 months, that is little over 600.00. PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM THESE RIP OFF ARTIST!

Even if you had paid their liability waiver in case of theft, you would have to have evidence of your house being broken into. If the door was left open, their is no proof that you didn't sell the TV, or that it was even their in the first place. Chances are it was never their and this was a fraudulant claim.

are you people ###ed? The property belongs to Easyhome until it is paid for in full...You were robbed, tv gone! Easyhome does not get a replacement tv from there insurance who in the hell told you that? If you were leasing a " CAR " and it was stolen they do not give you another car paid for, if it was written off they do not give you another car paid for...the car belongs to the company not to you until you pay for it in full...

they are the worst when it comes to financing, they always rewrite the contracts with no regards to the previous payments. they keep calling for their payments and even over pay themselves with your own money .As for the contracts they have no qualified personnel to handle the accounts. and they always hire shaddy people to run things we had to deal with a junkie who was even scamming them but offered no compromised after their employee took our money and kept it even with receipt in hand of our payement they did not honor the payement and were telling us we still had to make the payment again ? Isn't there a law against fraudulent companies like that ? Who regulates their financing departement? SO DO NOT EVER BUY OR RENT FROM THEM PLEASE LETS STICK TOGETHER AND BOYCOT THESE SCAMMERS OUT OF BUISINESS.

A hard lesson to learn but EVERYONE knows Easyhome is a scam. If you had just bought a used tv on ebay or kijji you would have had the same 42 inch tv or one very similar for under $300 or you could have used an old tv for a year and put that money aside and bought the same tv brand new for under $600 during Xmas sales. And for only $150 you could have insured your entire apartment with replacement value so when you get robbed you could actually replace your stuff, not start a new rental agreement.
