EasySaver Rewards Credit card charges

When making a purchase from ProFlowers.com there is a misleading portion at the end asking you to sign up for a discount. It doesn't charge your credit card right away, but after the "free trial" it charges 14.95 to Easy Saver. This is clearly meant to "trick" you into unknowingly signing up for this service. I think it's despicable that ProFlowers.com and Easy Saver conduct business in this way. It's clearly an issue as there are hundreds of complaints online yet when I called proflowers and easy saver they actually DEFENDED this unethical practice. Personally I will NEVER order from proflowers again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this scam. Both companies should be ashamed.

I just noticed a charge of $14.95 on my account from Easy Saver. It is because when I ordered flowers for my mother-in-law thru Proflowers.com the "trick "you into accepting either the "free" shipping or a discount on your next order. Well in a few weeks you will see that shipping ins't free and that now you are signed up with Easy Saver. This is BS. I found this web site and by calling the number listed, got in contact with Easy Saver and they said they will credit my account, the bogus charges. I really hope they do! I called Proflower to let them know what Easy Saver had done, well they could care less. They stood behind Easy Saver and told me it was my fault for signing up for the discount. Well- thats another on-line business I wont use again, and I hope that everyone that reads this, tells their friends and no one uses either Proflower or Easy Saver.

ordering flowers from ProFlowers resulted in monthly billings of 14.95 from Easy Saver. When I ordered the flowers they charged me 1.95 they said for internet order. Now I am being billed each month. I was able to cancel but they would only refund for one month. I am out 44.85 because of their unethical business practices.

I am being Charged each month for something I never used. That has been done now two moths in a row. I never authorized it! I would like the charges removed and a credit sent. These are bad services!

I recently found out exactly the same thing. Proflowers should be prohibited from doing this. I will never buy from them again and will spread the word. It is an abusive use of credit cards on the net.

EasySaver Rewards They are thieves

I just noticed that they have been charging my debit card $19.80 for the last 3 months. I don't know who these people are or how they got my debit card number. I AM SO PISSED I HAVE STEAM COMING FROM MY EARS. I called my bank and had them put a stop to this theft. I am now in the process of filing a claim through my bank to get every penny back. They are going to investigate the matter. In the mean time, I would like to speak to these people myself so that I can give them a piece of my mind. Does anyone have a working phone number for this company?

EasySaver Rewards Any solutions? Unauthorized charges by Easy Saver

I ordered Flowers through Pro Flowers.com and was offered a rebate if I tried this rewards program. Must be I missed the fine print because all of a sudden, a charge for $1.95 showed up on my bank account for EASY SAVER. I called the number given and cancelled right away and the rep assured me that no further charges would be made, but from the sounds of most complaints about this company, it may be that they will keep charging me. So, I'm going to cancel my credit card and get another one through my bank if they make another unauthorized charge.

My issue is, are there any other options? What power do I have against this company besides disrupting my own life to assure there are not further charges to my account.

Oh, and the website they give for canceling your membership is totally bogus! http://cancel.myeasysaver.com

I just got off the phone with Cindy at Easy Saver. She gave me a cancellation number, which I wrote down. She said I signed up through ProFlowers to save money on my travel expenses, etc. I told her I sure didn't save $45! I am going to fill out a form at the bank to see if I can get my money refunded.

I actually DO remember clicking on that box to SAVE $15 after ordering through ProFlowers, but I didn't have any idea I would LOSE that amount every month!

I too ordered flowers from Pro-Flowers and applied for the $15 rebate. I was charged $1.95 in May, and then $14.95 again in June. I contacted Easy Saver [protected] and she informed me that they would credit my card. I asked how she received the information and she said I signed up for it...does not explain how they got my cc number. I contacted Pro flowers and was informed that Easy Saver is a pop up (my pop up blocker was on) and when I put my information in for the rebate, it automatically signed me up. This does not explain how how ES received my cc info, if PF is a secure site. I will not order from PF again, I do not trust them.

I fell for this scam and before I could call them to cancel I ended up in the hospital on life support. After about a month in the hospital I had totally forgotten about this. Just found the paperwork and have tried to call but so far I can't get any real people to talk to. As everyone else has discovered, the email address is bogus. From now on I will check the company on the Internet before I agree to anything.

How do they get my credit card number and banking information?

Go to: http://www.oag.state.md.us and you can file a consumer complaint against the company with the Attorney Genenal's office for the state of Maryland where they operate out of. Enough consumer complaints can lead to legal action by the state AG's office. The parent companies name is: Encore Marketing International.

Easy savers is a rip-off. Numerous attempts to charge my credit card. Never signed up for there services but they felt it was okay to charge my card for 14.95 plus other fees for services unknown. Called and cancelled membership which seemed like they were use to doing. Do these people actually supply any kind of service? Some how they get ahold of your credit card info and play there games. Lets hope this is the end of it. 2/06/09

All of these people are correct! DO NOT GET THE EASY SAVER CARD! It is such a rip off even if you did know about the sign up of it, they don't send you anything the say they will. It's basically and easy way for them to get paid even if you don't use any coupons or anything! What is the point in paying a company money to send you coupons so you can save on items at the store? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of the coupons? I tried the email address of cancel.myeasysaver.com and it doesn't exist! Then I called the number and talked to "Judy" and she just kept telling me how I signed up and had the "greeting card" for more than 30 days and it was too late! I told her I hadn't used it nothing was sent to me or even wanted to use it and to refund my money and heard that this was a scam! She quickly said the money would be back on my card in 7-10 days. It had better or I will be letting my bank know so they won't allow another charge from them and my bank will give me that money back. Please be careful when you shop with your card. Even if it's a debit they will get your info.

EasySaver Rewards Ripped off!

I only agreed to pay $1.95 for information on being a paid secret shopper. The Easysaver company automatically signed me up for a discount savers plan that I had no information on from the snail mail. When I received the easysaver card. I read that I had a trial membership of 30 days. I did join the membership club that had no given monthly membership fee in the 4 page pamphlet.

At first they billed my credit card $24.95 before I could read all the fine print and legal terms. I then was charged by 2 other companies that I had no knowledge that they were connected to Easysaver. I received no further information in the mail. I then tried the Web site which took me to an exam that I could not get the required 88% needed to go to the next step of their Training Assignment #1. The web site did not take me to the second step. I tried 4 times and even logged in twice, Each time I took the Exam and each time I got a different percent correct. The site read that I could take the exam after reading their Training Assignment #1 the site would not let me to the next step.

So I called the [protected] phone number that was a automated taped message that said my membership was terminated after giving them my membership number and phone number. I never thought that a company could get away with stealing from so many people. I personally was taken for a total of $121.36 plus $85 for overdrafts and NSF fees.

EasySaver Rewards Unauthorized billing!

My credit card was charged this month $1.00 each by Easy Saver and American Leisure without my authorization. It was very difficult to cancel. They gave me bogus cancellation websites. With much patience, I finally reached them on the phone #s given on my credit card bill and hopefully this has been canceled. I received confirmation #s for my calls.

I really don't understand why all these comments refer to the fact that they are being scammed. How can you being scam when you were asked if you would like to be signed up with the easy saver. I most of you did not like the free gift cards being offered you would not be in this mess. You must learn to practice the words "No thank you".

they dont really give you that choice they make it seem as part of the order

I also was charged by Easy Saver without my knowledge. When I called them I found it was through Blair.com. I had also placed an online order through ProFlowers.com but it appears that there was just the one charge from Easy Saver. I called a toll free number and received a cancellation confirmation number. I hope that this is the end of these charges. Something needs to be done so others don't not get scammed by this company. I don't know if the original company that the orders are placed with is even aware of what is going on on the their sites.

I too recieved cancellation #s for both of these "subscriptions". That was 2 months ago and they're still charging my credit cards. I'm a single mother on a fixed income. Last night I could not purchase my groceries at the store because my debit card was turned down. When I came home I checked my account and low and behold, there were two charges one for 19.80 for Easy Saver and one for 19.80 for American Leisure. BOTH of these memberships where cancelled before. I've called back to get a refund to no avail. Good luck!

EasySaver Rewards Unauthorized charges!

I have been billed by Easy Saver Rewards (EASY SAVER [protected] PA) for $14.95 per month since making a purchase on Proflowers.com. Easy Saver is apparently associated with ProFlowers and I inadvertently signed up for their 'services' while placing my order. They claim that I requested to be a member when I replied to an email after placing an order. I do not recall replying to any email or asking for the service. Obviously, their business practices are disingenuous at best, since I, and many others, have been fooled by this blatantly unethical business practice.

I informed ProFlowers of this problem and they gave me this number: [protected], which is different from the one on the bill and on their website. I talked to a service rep. named 'Linda' and she was willing to give me only a fraction of my money back after a long-winded sales pitch about how great their service is. She became rather forceful and obnoxious when I demanded all the money back, claiming that Easy Saver had legally billed me since I signed up for the service. I asked for a manager and talked to 'Jennifer' and she eventually promised to pay back the charges.

Thus far, I have been credited with all but one of the charges; they credited my card a few charges at a time.

If this happens to you, I suggest calling the 800 number I listed above and demand your money back. If that fails, ask for a manager and tell them you are willing to file complaints and inform the media of their unethical business practices. Also, informing ProFlowers, or other companies linked to Easy Savers, would be a good idea.

This company is nothing but thiefs! They steaal money from us without authorization.

I found recurring charges of $14.95 per month on my credit card statements for as long as 7 months, called their service number and they refunded me in full.
Their service representative told me that when I shop online with www.florestexpress.com, they trapped me from there.

There should be lawyers to file class action against this company.

Unauthorized charge on my credit card. I looked them up online to see who they were and found the multiple complaints from others, which I very much appreciated and used to stop this fraud. While they also told me I pressed a button at the end of a Proflowers order, I had not even placed one. My sister placed one FOR me. This should be illegal for both Proflowers and Easy Saver. I clicked nothing! Proflowers has my credit card from earlier purchases, and as others on this sight, I will not be purchasing from them anymore.

I purchased flowers in December from ProFlowers. In January I was charged $14.95 on my credit card for something called 'EASY SAVER with a phone number of [protected] MD. Of course no one is available at that number, and the automated system requests my 'membership number, that was in my membership package'. I never received a membership package, I never authorized this charge, and I'm getting really frustrated not being able to get it taken care of...

My checking acount was overdrawn recently, when I asked who was taking money out of my account, they printed out my statement. Bargain Network had been taking $40 a month for service that I had requested be canceled before the free trial was up. They never honored my request and now Easy Saver and some Money Edge company that I have NEVER heard of have been taking $15 out of my account every month without my knowlage or permission! can't sign onto website. Did a search through my mail for passwords or confirmations---none were there. At same time, my bank statement there was a second $16.95 charge coming out for American Leisure. When I called the number, the messages are the same as EasySaver.
