Eastport Apartments are having problems with the windows in their apartments. When it rain water comes through on to base board of window causing mold, mildew, and some kind of algae substance. Property Owners told managers to tell residents to wipe off windows everyday because they sweat. This doesn't make sense for paying residents to be told somthing as craziest as this especially when it's not problem. Owners of this property need to step up to fix this problem because people could have health issues from this on going problem.

    I also have been having a problem with this property in regards to the way the property is handlig they way the are writing up their leases and are not issuing you your lease and not giving you your deposit back once you have moved out. Please check your move in and move out dates.This property is charging prorated rent for the month that your lease has expired which is not at the end of the month it is either 6 or 15 days give or take within the month your lease expired which they are using your deposit to pay for these days. I have spoken with several apartments and they said, rent can be prorated anytime during your move in date but your lease should expired at the end of the month depending on if you have a 12 month or 13 month etc. lease for example there are 31 days in March so, if you lease was for 12 months and your move in date was March 7, 2011 the your lease should expired on March 31, 2011.Please ask for a copy of your lease and get verification of how would your deposit be reimbursed to you once your lease has expired. Be very careful and pay close attention of what you are signing and read all of the pages of your lease.Don't believe everything that is been told to you. If you don't understand or not sure or is uncomfortable with what was explained. There is help and somewhere you can get a better understanding by starting with corporate of this establishment. If you not satisfied with their response, you can contact the better business association and filed a complaint. Do your research never settle for something if you are not sure of the answer that is given to you.Concerned and former resident.

    well ive lived here 1 year and this place is the worest. for 1 there is no 24 security like they say, 2 ive called office about cockroaches to get them to spray for 4 months no response 4 ive seen all kinds of people swimming here and ruein it for people who live here to swim and pay the rent 4 condoms in pool and beer bottles all over parking lots every night 5 the office personel ever since richard left dont know a dam thing about anything, drugs people smoking pot in every hall way all the time i see it when were out !! the gates broke half the time which we pay to live in a gated security complex!! so i DO NOT!!i repeat DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO LIVE... very poor place no good at all i will not renew my lease plus to rent on bottom floor its a rediclious price !! and im a disabilty with heart problem and we pay 730.00 plus another 90.00 a month for water and trash!! my wife and i found better apartment and island point 2 bed 2 bath with washer and dryer and wood burning fire place 639.00 a month and water is 1 fee of 45.00 a month!! and its a 2 bed and 2 bath on water front!!
