EAST COAST CAVALIERS No AKC registration

We purchased a wonderful pupppy from LORI PALMER EASTCOAST CAVALIER.The agreement was when we submitted a spay/neuter confirmation we would get our AKC certificate of pure breed. It has been over a year and many excuses later, no certificate.
Thankfully and presently our cavalier is healthy. I would not purchase any dog from this woman. I find her distastefully dishonest.

EAST COAST CAVALIERS DECEPTIVE BREEDER

I was mistakenly sucked in to her website and claims of having healthy and well bred Cavalier Puppies. I purchased a puppy from her and she has had persistent ear and respiratory infections. When I told her about the issues she was defensive and did nothing about it. She has a lot of nerve to list a page about Pet Shop Puppies when this woman is no better than one - she's worse. When I looked into her further online I discovered that she is breeding A LOT of dogs and her Cavaliers come from Amish Puppy Mills. I am currently working with the State of Massachusetts to have her investigated. STAY AWY FROM THIS MILL AND LORI PALMER!

ALL OF HER SITES ARE BELOW:

www.eastcoastcavaliers.com
LOOK AT HER PEDIGREES - CODY - SIRE JAY JIPPER - AKC # TR53991205
THIS DOG IS FROM AN AMISH PUPPY MILL (http://laparkcavaliers.com/)

www.eastcoastdanes.com

http://www.prestigepapillons.com/index.html

http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/MA270.html
HER FAKE "RESCUE" PAGE THAT SHE USES TO PLACE DOGS THAT SHE'S BRED TO DEATH

HER WEB ADDRESS IS VERY CLOSE TO THE CAVALIER CLUB OF NEW ENGLAND'S ADDRESS (EAST COAST CAVALIER)
PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THIS WHEN LOOKING FOR A PUPPY. I CONTACTED THEM AND THEY -DO NOT- HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH HER BECAUSE SHE IS A PUPPY MILL.

I purchased a female black and tan from Lori in February of last year. I made two visits to her home and had frequent email contact. On both occasions that I visited her home the puppies were there on premises with both of their parents. I found Lori very helpful and caring. I could tell when I took my dog home that Lori was attached to her and was genuinely emotional to let her go. This you cannot fake. As a dog-lover I know when someone cares about animals and when they don't. We have had our dog for the past year and a half and she is a delightful, healthy dog! We had her health thoroughly checked out by a top veterinarian here in CT and she is in excellent condition. We purchased her with a spay/neuter contract as well as a return clause if for whatever reason we wanted to return her. That does not sound.like a puppy mill to me!

I have two of the most amazing beautiful cavaliers, both from Lori Palmer. Bentley is 2 and is the son of Ashley and Cody, this dog is part of my soul. He is my heart dog! Bentley is a very healthy cavalier, he also is extremely friendly and loving and sweet. I have a very strong bond with my handsome boy! Bentley has been to a neurologist and is SM free, he also has a very healthy clear heart. I do work very hard to keep him healthy, measure his food and keep him active and at a healthy weight. He is my heart, so I do all I can to provide a good life for him. Velvet is the daughter of Mojo and Cinnamon. She is a Black and tan, she is EXTRA Cute because she is EXTRA naughty! She too has a very healthy little heart, I bonded with her instantly. She is also the SMARTEST dog I have every had the pleasure of meeting and training! She also is REALLY good with kids even though she is a feisty little girl!
Both Bentley and Velvet went to me with spay and neuter contracts (Velvet goes for her spay on the 29th of July actually.. she is 6 months.. Lori is always willing to help out and answer any training or health questions I might email her about. She cares very much about the dogs she breeds, Each year on Bentley's birthday she wishes him a happy birthday. She always loves updates and pictures of them as they grow up. I went to her home for Bentley and she was not a puppy mill, I have seen a puppy mill.. and that was no puppy mill. I have been to much much much worse breeders homes in the past, I have seen shelters that were so disgusting and horrific. Lori's home does not even compare! I was shocked when I read this complaint. Of course her puppy had parasites.. puppies all come with some parasite or another.. that is typical.. and ear infections? I mean a cavalier king charles is a floppy eared dog, you have to clean their ears regularly and even still they are prone to ear infections, this is typical of the breed. CAvaliers are generally unhealthy dogs, The question when bringing one into your family is not if they will get sick but when they will get sick, and so far my vet and vet neurologist are both very pleased with the health of my two east coast cavalier cavies. I plan to always have a cavalier or two and plan to go to Lori for them as long as she continues to breed.

I have attached our most recent purchase from east coast cavaliers and yes the sire is cody with ashley as the dam. I find it hard to believe the complaintant and then the follow up comment by some one using lori palmers name as a slander...I am completely satisfied with our cavaliers and have had no negative issues...miss palmers contract is a spay/ neuter contract and I understand that 99% of her dogs go out under this contract, ..this shows responsible breeding practice to me and in no way shows signs of puppy mill behavior. I have met the parents Cody and Ashley and they are sweethearts this was my reason for purchasing two cavaliers from east coast cavaliers.

I might be harsh but I know Lori and the dogs in question other than the Allison dog. Lori has always been a stand up breeder/ kennel owner of a full service kennel. Allison made it clear when she referenced the Sire pedigree which is still AKC and under standards... without the reference of the Dam or grandparents. This to me is Ignorant at best because it is plain to see that that these dogs are out of Acushnet, Ma..and not Pa. I am familiar with Lori's purchase contract offering a full refund for any genetic defects and the fact that 99% of the dogs she sells go out on a spay/neuter contract which is very responsible. This does not sound like puppy mill behavior especially when this Allison never contacted the breeder to remedy her bogus situation! Allison is an idiot! You may have guessed I own one of east coast cavaliers pups and he is doing great!

You are a liar and a fraud. That Papillon website is COMPLETELY VALID and leads right back to YOU! You just haven't renewed it again. Your Cavaliers come from AMISH PUPPYMILLS and the link to their site is there. They PAY PEOPLE to advertise for them which is how they channel their dogs from their cruel farms to people all over the US - people LIKE YOU!

I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON TO COMPLAIN - THERE IS ANOTHER ONE COMPLAINING ABOUT YOUR DANES HERE:
EastCoastDanes — Bad Breeder

ANYONE WHO GOES ON A RANT LIKE THAT AND THEN TRIES TO DENY INFO IS A NUT, SO YOU MADE MY CASE FOR ME. YOU HAVE ALL THIS SUPPOSED EXPERIENCE AND DIDN'T VERIFY YOUR LINES WERE FROM AMISH MILLS. YOU'RE SUPPOSEDLY THIS BIG ANIMAL RESCUE PERSON AND YET YOU HAVE A MILLION DOGS YOU BREED AND DUMP. YOU'RE A BIG LIAR.

miss allison, i have no idea who you are as i do not have my paperwork in front of me but i really wish you would have tried contacting me via email before bashing me online with things that are not true. FIRST ISSUE, PETFINDER...i have been doing all breed rescue for 14 years, starting Pet Rescue 911 on my own 9 years ago. i have taken in countless dogs from people losing their homes, getting ill, moving, etc., & have gone seriously into debt doing so. i have a 17 year old min pin that i took in 7 years ago from someone that was going to put him down because he started with congestive heart failure, THAT was wrong for me to do? i have a 2 year old dog that i took in at 8 weeks old beause the breeder was goign to put her down at 4 weeks of age because she discovered that she was blind & deaf. i gave her $400 for her food, vetting, & to hold her until she could go home with me at 8 weeks old. she is now 2 & doing great, but i guess THAT is wrong for me to do too, right? i have a 14 year old border collie that i took from a shelter that was going to kill her because she was a stray & they discovered that she was deaf, but THAT's wrong to do as well? i do not use petfinder as a way to place dogs i have bred to death because i don't do so, any accusations to that affect is completely not true. SECOND ISSUE...PAPILLONS...i do not have papillons & that website is not even valid. THIRD ISSUE...DANES...i have bred danes for 12 years & show them, WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT? FOURTH ISSUE...CAVALIERS...i started breeding cavaliers 3 years ago, falling in love with the breed as a few of my clients have them. i bought cody from a friend of a friend & NOT directly from the person on their pedigrees. the person i bought him from lied to me about where she got him from, when i registered him with the AKC & discovered this, i had his health testing done to assure he was fine BEFORE he was bred. so THAT"S wrong to do? FIFTH ISSUE...PARENT CLUBS...i am not a member of ANY breed parent club because i choose NOT to be. there are a lot of parent clubs out there & they are all very political & i choose not to be sucked in. they want you to show in THEIR cirlces, go to THEIR shows, only go to THEIR events & i would like to go to where ever to show my dogs, NOT to give one parent club a membership fee plus have them make all the money through the show fees with people showing with just them. until you get into showing, you don't have the right to give your opinion about that unless you know what you're talking about. SIXTH ISSUE...YOUR DOG... if you would have researched cavaliers thoroughly, you would know that SOME can have ear problems due to the way their ear canals are shaped & the droopy, long ears. i am unaware of any chronic problems with your particular dog as i do not remember any emails to that effect. if you would kindly forward any emails that you sent me in the past that would be great. ear infections can be treated inexpensively at home, but vets will not tell you this becasue they will lose a ton of money. you can mix a solutiuon up of 3 parts water & 1 part white vinegar & use that twice a day. they charge you $40-60 for a little tube of meds that they keep prescribing to you & prescribing to you & they do not work. you would have known about this if you would have told me what was going on. how can i help you if i don't know about any issues? if your dog has chronic ear infections & respiratory problems, i would have gladly taken him/her back & returned your money to you if you would have requested but i never heard anything like that from you. please feel free to email me at any time with any concerns & if needed i will gladly take your dog back & have her medically treated by my vet if needed.
