Early Moments unauthorized use of credit card

Ordered one book for my granddaughter - wothout warning was inundated with shipment after shipment of Dr Seuss books and alphabet and number books with invoices all marked PAID and my credit card number on them. I never ordered those books! I gave the books to my granddaughter anyway, but now I find I have to go to the website and/or call Customer Service and try to cancel the subscription I never had to begi with to get the books to stop coming !

Early Moments used a coupon for $5.95 and got charged $18.96

I used a coupon I got from Motherhood Maternity, it was for 5 books for $5.95. I ordered them and got the 5 books and was charged the initial $5.95. Now I was charged again for $18.96 because I guess it automatically enrolled me in a subscription! I didn't read that anywhere on the page! What a scam! I would have bought more books in the future, but now I will never use them again! What a scam of a company, prey on families like that!

This company is STEALING from you. They throw a forceful subscription in the Terms and Conditions of use. You would think that you made one single order and they keep sending you books and charging your credit card at 3 x times the regular price of the books. VERY DISAPPOINTED ON this malignant trick of stealing. they use the promotion just to get your credit card information. I am suing this pretended unprofessional company.

Early Moments childrens books

Signed up for a promo as well as a subscription. After 3 weeks I emailed to find out if my books have been shipped and where my tracking number was. Received an email a couple days later that due to demand & it being Dr. Suess month, there is a delay & my books would be sent the following week. A week came & went, still no books. Called customer service & was told they only have 1 warehouse & my books were in the warehouse ready to ship. Told the person if I did not receive my books the following week, I was going to call back to cancel. Guess what? No books. I called to cancel and was told my order has already been cancelled. Rather than tell me they were going to refund my $, they asked if I wanted my $ returned. I had my $ back in my acct within 2 days. This is a total scam.

Early Moments scaaaammmmm book subscription

I ordered a deal for 3 books with some stickers and a growth chart for only $3.99 however nowhere was it made clear that one order meant my information would be saved and automatically signed up for a monthly subscription... I ordered on march 4th and didn't receive my package until april 3 (even though it should've took no more than 2 weeks... I had to email 3 times to get a response on my order and called about 4 times (each time waiting for more than 30min for no one to ever answer).
I canceled the subscription through the account but also emailed for a cancelation because they already charged me a first month fee of $21 that I never knew about... They charged me for the monthly fee before I even received my first original package
Not happy at all - scam

Hi there,
I'm writing on behalf of Early Moments to apologize for any confusion! When you ordered your deeply discounted package, that was a welcome package for new subscribers. Our membership was explained at checkout and you would have had to check "agree" in order to purchase the welcome offer. Now, we understand that busy parents occasionally don't have the time or bandwidth and miss the details, so we're always happy to help you manage your subscription. Let us know at customercare@earlymoments.com, [protected] or with a direct Facebook message during business hours.
Thanks!

I ordered 5 books for $3.95, not aware of there was a subscription that they charged me $21.95 for the following month until my card shows it. They clearly said, no purchase commitment! No where from their website that said we commit to subscription with them every month. Cheater!

Didn't event know I have an account with them until I went to check for all messages from them, they sent auto generated messages (so they were ended in my junk box). Scam! Fraud! stole money from consumers. Today they said when I paid, I committed to monthly auto-shipment :o they are fraud, money stolen, bad bad business!

Early Moments children's books

Complete scam. Do not purchase unless you actually want a subscription.

Received an ad through Motherhood Maternity for 5 Dr. Seuss books for a promotional price. The ad clearly stated "no ongoing commitments" and "cancel anytime".

We ordered through the website, including some extra books for a few dollars. I then sent an email asking to cancel subscription immediately following the purchase so I won't have to worry about it. I did not want any additional books, just what was advertised.

Days later, I receive an email back from their customer service, saying we cancelled your subscription and your order since you clearly have no interest in the subscription.

What this tells me is that they expected to make a lot more money by immediately and routinely sending out additional shipments of books and charging you random amounts for it.

Thank god I sent them the cancellation in time, or I would have been stuck with unexpected charges and loads of books I don't want, with a difficult customer service to deal with.

Early Moments dr suess scam

These people give u 5 free books, followed by signing you up secretly for an extra subscription. Ontop of the dr suess. So. I call and cancel my account. A month later. They charge me 26 and 29 dollars. Out of nowhere. I call and cancel again. 'oh sorry the second part of your account wasn't canceled" okay. Then another month later I get another package. I call. Returned to sender. Fast forward 2 more months. Receive an email stating I never payed for that last package and now I have a late fee. This company is nothing but a scam. They hide fees and subscriptions to charge you extra legally. And to not actually close your account. I feel this should be illegal. I did not say I wanted to secretly keep open half my account and charge me. Scam.

You have to read them and actually look at the offer clearly. Duh. You're making yourself look like a fool. I read the t+c and clearly understood they were a subscription service. People like you make a good company like Early Moments look bad cause you're too lazy to take a whole minute to read terms and conditions. Wow congratulations. You're a fool

You would be surprised by the stuff you see in all company's t+c's. They are the LEAST of your worries hun. Until you pay attention and grow up and own up to your actions, you're no better than a raging toddler who couldn't get their way.

Once you click that you agree, you are authorizing every charge and are giving them permission legally. Once you click that button, you state you have read them and understand them. If you don't and just click you are still agreeing cause you clicked the box. That covers their butts cause you have to agree to put in any payment info. Sorry not sorry

Early Moments early moments book for $1

I was ordering the book for $1 off of a survey to apply for a reward card and it took that off and now it has charged me $29.95 and I didn't order another set of books? I would like to be refunded of this because I never received the first book in the first place and now I'm being charged for something that I didn't even purchase. Didn't even realize there was a subscription in the first place.

Early Moments early moments ordering books for $1.00

They charged me the dollar for the four books. And, then it said at the end of checkout they didn't even accept the payment to use a credit or debit. I was using a prepaid card that had my income tax money on it. So, after saying they didn't accept my card. I exit out the page. One second later my phone received the text they did indeed charge me one dollar. I have no account information now. I called the number [protected] and pressed pound as I did not have a account number as they instructed to do. I pressed pound it said that they're currently closed and to call back during business hours which was 9-6 pm or something of that sort. It's eleven am my time, Central Time. This is [censor]. Calling the other numbers. I wanted to just get my son a few books for a dollar and now they are going to be scamming me. Calling to put a hold on them from charging anymore and also..will report for fraud alert. Also, will get my dollar back. Shame shame. I'm so tired of scammers. Mess me with me. My new focus is taking you all down that I can!

Early Moments dr. suess subscription

I cancelled my subscription (after I found out there was a subscription) and I still got charged $41; I didn't even get any books other than the promotion books that I already paid for. I got a letter in the mail a couple days ago saying I was being sent to collections for failure to pay the $41! I never got a bill or anything! I am beyond furious!

Early Moments dr. seuss/ early learning package

I just ordered the 5 books for $3.95 promotion from an ad on FB and unfortunately didn't see all of the complaints about unauthorized charges/ unauthorized membership enrollment. I DO NOT authorize this company to make any additional charges on my account, so if any further charges appear on my account, I will take legal action. If I am enrolled in a membership program the UNSUBSCRIBE ME!

Hello Cynthia,
We don't show any record of an order matching this mailing address in our systems at this time, so we wonder whether your attempted order did not go through. Early Moments ordered the $1 for 4 dr seuss books and it’s now taken off over $5 from my debit card

I was scrolling through Facebook & did an online survey which then directed me to your website... the offer was 4 dr Seuss books for $1! Not 5, 6, 7$! I want to unsubscribe or whatever so that my card isn't charged anymore and I want my money back? Why does this seem to be a recurring problem with other people as well!? I want my money back I do not approve any further charges on my card.

Early Moments not allowed subscription

i find it funny that everyone seems to be saying the same thing that im about to say. i was subscribed to a service i didnt even choose to subscribe for and am now getting charged money for books i didnt even buy or choose to buy. I did the 1$ for four books payment and saw nowhere at all that the company was going to automatically charge me and take money out of my card without my knowlegde. I want proof that the website says that when you do their promotionall offers, if this company takes more money out of my account again i will sue them.

Early Moments books

I'm trying to cancel my order to Early moments. The number they give to cancel is the wrong number I tried to call it 3 times and there was this girl on the phone talking about telling me the balance on a gift card. My grandson love the books but I'm on disability and i can't afford to buy them anymore. I have been trying to cancel for two hours now the web says that I can cancel on line and you start typing your information in and the next thing you know it's telling me that it's going to cost money to cancel so I don't know if that site is gonna charge me or not.
