Eagle shield's owner, garret, promised that radiant barrier insulation when installed in my attic would lower the a/c and heating bill by 10 degrees each way, from summer to winter months. So far, having radiant barrier insulation in my attic has shown no benefits in energy bill savings.

I had insulation installed in 12/08. I have the paperwork. The product no longer seems to be working, Can you have someone come out and check this out. If it no longer works can another product be put on top of this? I started calling and emailing the company a year ago and have received no replies. My utility bills have continued to rise and my house is always cold.

My wife and I, purchase this product 14 months ago, they told us that we would save up to 40 percent on our utilities. I was skeptical day 1 of the installation, and now 14 months have gone by and my utility bill is higher than it was without it. The owner Mr. Garrett Harwood told us that the installation would take 4 to 6 hours to install. The installers installed the product in 1 hour and 15 minutes. I was supposed to get a 6 year loan instead I got an 11 year loan. I have a l s and I have to leave this debt to my wife and there is nothing that I can do about it. Do not buy into this product or you well get robbed. I urge people to read the reviews. This product does not work it's a waste of money.
I reported the problem to Better Business Bureau (BBB). Unfortunately they most work for Mr. Garrett Harwood, he won the case.

Eagle Shield Industries is the energy saving solution company. We have signed the contract with them and they promised us to think about the project and plan of how to save the energy. We have given them time and money. We really relied on them, but we trusted wrong company, which unfortunately got us into the trouble. We have owed money and we still don’t have any plan. All our customers are angry and request refunds, but we can’t reach this team.

I have hired the company Eagle Shield Inc. to make the insulation in my parents’ house and in mine as well. I have paid two upfront deposits and said to start from the parents’ house. The owner found many excuses and said that the work would be delayed. He didn’t explain why, but I decided to wait. 3 months we waited for this man, but he sat and did nothing. Guys, this company is very unprofessional. They don’t care about their reputation and customers. I don’t recommend them.

Salespeople from Eagle shield came to our neighborhood knocking on doors. The sales person told us we needed a reflective insulation put in our attic to lower or heating and cooling bills.
Because our son is disabled and the air temp. in our home makes a difference with his siezure activity, my husband and I were convinced by them that we needed the reflective insulation.
Since their product was installed we have had a change alright but not a good one. Our house gets so cold not that we are in sweats and freezing when it isn't that cold outside and at night we sweat and have to kick off the covers and turn on the a/c.

When I asked them to uninstall their product they refused.
When I asked them to cancel our contract they refused and actually filed a mechanics lien on our home!
When I explained to them that the product does not work like the salesman said it would they said "It says in two places on the contract that they do not back up what their salespeople told us".
When my attorney wrote them a letter they refused to respond.
If you google their company there are lots and lots of complaints regarding my same issue. There is also 21 complaints that have been filed against them with the better business bureau. And several complaints at ripoff.com.
