DVDDonkey.com Money taken nothing delivered!

I ordered some dvd's got an order number with a shipping number, they took money from my credit card account but got nothing from them, I could not track the parcel, I contacted Canada post they said there was no such number, I've tried to contact DVDonkey but they won't reply to my e-mails and don't answer their phones.

Like many others I think I've been ripped off, I wish I'd seen these complaints before giving these people my money.

I recently ordered from DVDDonkey and have been scammed. They posted a charge twice to my credit card (under 2 different company names). When I tried to call the number on their website, it was not legitimate. I have not received a confirmation, nor have I received the DVDs. I had to cancel my credit card and get a new one and have to file a complaint when I receive my bill showing the charges.

Be careful and check out the company before ordering.

I placed an order for the short lived TV series Brimstone ($44.99 + $19.19 shipping) and never received the product. Although I did receive one response to my initial inquiry about where the order was in which I was told the order was on backorder and they would keep me updated on the status and that I could request a refund at any time, future requests for a refund have gone unanswered.

"At DVDDonkey, we are committed to providing our clients with the highest level of customer service." Well, maybe not. From the list of other customers who have been bilked I am surprised this company is still in business.

In the future I think I shall check out such sites as Complaints Board and see what the public has to say about any online company before I give them my business.

I ordered the DVD set of Wagon Train from dvddonkey.com
The very next day I received a call from my
credit card company telling me of multiple
fraudulent charge attempts against my card
for various online purchases such as jewelry,
setting up online jewelry stores and e-commerce,
etc.

DVDdonkey does not respond to e-mail attempts
and does not answer their toll-free telephone.

DVDdonkey is a SCAM! Steer clear of them!

I am in Australia and ordered Malcolm In The Middle complete from DVD DOnkey as it is not available in Aus. There is obviously a good reson why - I don't think it's available anywhere and I have just been scammed for over $100. Visa tell me I can lodge a dispute once DVD DOnkey have actually accepted the payment but it seems to me that as I was quick in trying to halt the process they should be able to stop payment going through. Anyway - if I do happen to receive these goods (judging from the complaints here I really doubt that!) I will post it.

I ordered DVDs on December 17, 2007. They acquired money from my account 12/20/07. Never received the DVDs. I called and almost always got a recording. Once I actually got a person. Her name was Faith, she said they are in Florida. I asked to speak to her supervisor. She said her supervisor's name was Janice Smith and she would not be in until later.

I asked her for the name, address and phone number of the president of the company. She just sat there. I asked her if she was still there and the said yes. I asked if she heard my request and she said yes. She kept asking me for my name and order number, which I refused to reveal. I simply want the name, address and phone number of the president or to speak to a supervisor because I'm afraid you folks are scamming people. We went round and round like this for 20 minutes. The only thing she would say is, you'll have to call back when my supervisor is here and can I have your order number and name.

Then I found this website! This is why I usually don't shop online. It's not worth it!

I ordered on line 12-15-07 the All in the Family DVD series - order Number 184938. The cost on 185.92 which was charged to my MasterCard on 12-16-08. We received e-mails and messages from DVD Donkey indicating that the order was delayed and would be shipped when made available. I have tried to call their [protected] but you always get a recorded message and no ones calls back. I emailed DVD Donkey today and got a message that the address was tried with no reply.

Order #182410 was placed on 12-12-07; shipment receipt was promised within 12-14 days. I have been unable to contact anyone; have had no response from voice messages left. The statement, "at DVDDonkey, we are committed to providing our clients with the highest level of customer service" is obviously contrary to their actual business ethics. I can, only, assume that DVDDonkey uses mail fraud and false advertising to take money. I do want to file charges and take whatever action necessary to receive a full refund or a valid product at the specified price, with partial shipment cost refund.

I sent for the complete set of My Three Sons tv show on dvd submitted my credit card # on a Mastercard on December 11th. Sent 5 requests for a confirmation and have not received one. They sent an order # and shipping info on the initial order. I called them on several occasions and they give you a recorded message. They sound professional but you can never talk to a representative because they are never available. I Hate dishonest crooks is there anything we can do? The amount charged was $120.58.

I ordered dvds, received no emails, eventually received them but there was only 8 series instead of 12. To add insult to injury they were fake! Emailed several times but no response, eventually got thru via Live Web Chat. Spoke to random person called "Marie". Who said refund would be processed and would send prepaid envelope for me to return. I had also contacted my Credit Card issuers to start a dispute. Don't know if it was thanks to credit card co but got refund eventually. Still not received and envelope to return the items. They are a huge scam - don't be fooled by the fab prices. Please take heed to all the complaints on here - wish I'd seen them before I placed my order.

They need to be stopped!

Ordered a dvd box set from DVDDONKEY on 16th nov. to date nothing has arrived, the only contact with them seems to be online chat but don't tend to respond when challenged, they don't connect by phone or email, they gave me a tracking no. for canada post which doesn't appear in the post system, returned to online chat was told by these lowlifes that the post office system was down again (crap),they were quick enough to take my money though, have found numerous reports on the web of rip offs by these con artists, do not deal with these bozoes, wish i looked up reports first, DVDDONKEY made an ### of me.

DVDDonkey.com Charged twice for same item!

I had ordered an item from this company. I had transposed figures on my zip code. I canceled the order and reordered the same item. I made it clear that I would pay for only one of the same item. I received an email saying my credit card had been charged. I received an email saying the item was on back order. I emailed them to ask for an approx. date, and received a reply that the item had been shipped. They gave me a tracking number through canadapost.ca. Canadapost has no information on it. I tried reference number. Same thing; no information. I received my credit card bill and it was charged from WEBDVD, showing a posting date of 1-7-08 , transaction date of 1-2-08, and again on 1-9-08, transaction date of 1-2-08, from ALLIEDW.COM. On WEBDVD and Donkey.com, I had the same trouble with calling as the other complainant had, with leaving name and number, and no response. I have emailed same, and no replies. I was able to reach ALLIEDW.COM. However, they have no information on shipping, and told me to contact the company I had ordered from, which is the one with no response. I am going to go on line and try to cancel the charges. Wish me luck. And,.. I would recommend not using this site. ALLIED also gave me the name of DVD-AVE being part of the same company.

I placed an order, they charged my charge card and I have not received yet. I called their 1-877-7-TV-SHOW telephone number and got no response. Went to come online and saw many complaints. My first time ordering like this, guess i made a real mistake. The charge was $167.78.

e ordered the series Shogun from them and had to make several calls to machine before we received the porduct. They billed our credit card on 10/19/2007 for the series and when we received it the case was broken and the first two disks wouldn't play all the way through. We called (machine again) and told them t he problem. Today we received an e-mail that they were shipping the series(4 disks) again and were billing our credit card again. When we try to contact them no one is ever available to take the call. We will have to contact the bank and have the charges denied and we will have paid for the set and can't enjoy it. We are very unsatisified with this company and won't order again and will tell anone who listens not to order from them.

I ordered Get Smart DVDs on 18th January, 2008 and money was charged to my visa card immediately. They sent an email with a Canada Post tracking no which does not show any record of shipment of goods. I have sent subsequent emails to which they have replied to two, assuring me that my DVDs have been shipped but as yet I have not received them. It's $150 I can't afford to lose.

I placed an order last December, they said it was on backorder. They would email from time to time saying still on backorder. Now they will not contact me. I want a refund on my credit card. They are just a big scam.

I ordered a complete set DVD's of Mod Squad on 12/18/07. It was charged to my credit card on 12/20/07. I have not received my order. They don't answer the phone. I have called several times and only get a recording saying that they are not available and to call back in a few hours. The number is 1-877-7-TV-SHOW. If I email them I only get a general reply if they answer at all, saying the item is on back order. orders@DVDDonkey.com I found a website that has many people complaining about the same thing. I got your link from them. The DVD's cost $140.12. Is this email going to do me any good? I want the DVD's but I probably should just get a refund. Is this possible or am I just screwed? I am going to call my credit card company and complain. I think this is an overseas site because of the sentence structure and incorrect spelling.

On 4th November, 2007, I placed and order for a Cheers DVD collection seasons 1 -11. I contacted the company to find out if I would received my order by christmas and they told me that the order had been sent on the 4th December. I had paid for the order when I ordered it and the payment showed up on my credit card statement on the 29th November, 2007. I was given an order number and told that I could track my order via www.canadapost.ca with tracking number EE112291201CA but when I tried to track my order, canadapost did not have this number in their system. I don't know how else to get a refund and it is fast becoming apparent that I have been scammed out of $254.13au. When I contacted them again asking why I had been given a bogus tracking number the customer service rep emailed me to say that she would pass on my tracking number to her supervisor. I still haven't heard back.

i come back here to post that ALLIEDW stands for ALLIED WALLET and they are ONLY the processors for Global Money Cards Verification.

Global Money Cards wording on their website is wrong .

On Global Money Cards site It states that charges will show the charge came from Global Money but INSTEAD it showed the charge coming from ALLIEDW and thus the confusion stated.

It took me 8 hrs to find out the transaction was OK. and that it was Global Money Cards that needed to fix their wording on their site to STOP this confusion to their customers.

When I called Global Money to expain this they could not understand what I was telling them?

This $8.61 was to be entered at the site to verify... but INSTEAD.. they told me when I saw the "deposit amts" in my bank i was to enter those amt to be verified.. WHEN IN FACT it was the $8.61 CHARGE that needed to be entered in order to verify. So even that was not completely explained properly when TALKING to them..

The customer (me) just had to figure it out. PHEW !

I just hope they change that wording on their site because already I am not feeling comfortable because they just don't listen or explain things correctly THUS causing confusion from the start !

I found a charge on my card from ALLIEDW.COM for $8.61 and I have NO idea who they are. I did a search online to find out who they are and found this page. I did not buy anything because i don't have any money to buy anything out there. I don't even know how they got my card info ! Who are these people? I only hope I can get this money back because i only have $25 to buy food with for this month.

DO NOT USE ALLIEDW.COM. But it will be too late. It is a charge center, not the company for the product you think you have purchased.
I have a charge by ALLIEDW.COM [protected]) on my credit card 03/11/08. It coincides with MTS PRODUCTIONS [protected]) that uses mtslivemall.com as their URL. They are also owned by myworldwidewealth.com which has a similar site as GoDaddy. I have domains with GoDaddy. MyWorldWideWealth.com is more expensive.
I was promised my web page up within 72 hours and a return on my investment within a week after faxing documents received from 16845 N 29th Ave Suite I-347 Phoenix AZ 85053. They were faxed [protected]) on 03/18/08. When I called with the name of my Marketing Coach promised - Karie Crane, I was denied and given Steve Rose, then Shawn Michaels, then George Alberts. No web page is up to date 03/26/08.
Help me decide what to do first.

DVDDonkey.com Scam and rip off!

I placed an order on December 16th, 2007 for a DVD Boxed Set of the Wonder Years, priced at $58.99. On December 27th, I received confirmation that my credit card had approved the purchase and it would be shipping shortly. On January 8th, I received my bank card statement and saw that I had been charged twice for the purchase. I contacted DVDDonkey and requested that I be credited for the second charge. I received a message via e-mail that same day telling me that my account would be credited. I asked during my telephone conversation whether I have my shipment soon. I was told that it would be another 12-15 days. It is now January 24th and still no DVD's. I contacted the company this morning and requested that they return the call. Their customer service number tells me that they are now called DVDAVENUE and they are only available from 10-2 P.M. EST. I spoke with a representative who assured me that I would be receiving my package in another 10-14 days!
I asked to speak to a manager and was transferred to a customer service person, who promptly disconnected me. How's that for service! What a scam!

DVDDonkey.com - Party of five dvd box set

I ordered party of five box set from these rip off merchants. They have taken £90 from my account but have not sent confirmation of my order or replied to the numerous e mails i've sent. I am now trying to recoup the money from my bank and have had to change my account details because of this. Please be aware that this website is not to be trusted, i only wish i had read up on this website before ordering from them.
