Dunkin' Donuts gift card

12/9/09 I purchased 2 gift cards at this store ($10.00 and $20.00) Before I made the purchased, I explained that I want card for Baskin Robbin only . The cASHIERS told me I could use for either. I explained that I was sending out of town and only wanted Baskin. I was assured that I could use it.12/11/09 Before mailing, I decided to call the number on the back of the card. I was told by the representative that Baskin Robbins did not issue gift cards only gift checks. I called the above store and told them. I was told to bring it back for a refund. I went to the store and was told to come back the next day because there was no mgr. Called 12/12 Tameria (mgr)she didn't know you couldn't use at a Baskin store only and didn't offer any refund. Just told me to call monday and speak to Ramon Ali. I ask for coporate office number and she told me she didn't have one and to Go look on web. Very poor customer service. Maybe inaccurate advertisement. This business is selling gift cards that can't be used at Baskin store only. They are lacking the knowledge of the products they are selling to the public. I left my number for Ramon Ali to call me. 1130am haven't heard back

Dunkin' Donuts rude drive thru attendant

I was at the above location and went through the drive thru to order 2 coffees. I told the drive thru attendant that I needed a Large Hazelnut Light and Sweet and a Large Hazelnut Black with 3 Equal. The man stated back to me that I wanted a Large Hazelnut Light and Sweet and a Large Regular, to which I replied, no the second one should be black with 3 Equal, Hazelnut. So he said, Ok, Large Hazelnut Light and Sweet and a Large Regular Black with 3 Equal. At this point I'm getting very irritated and I said, NO, they are both Hazelnut and he yells back I GOT IT, LARGE HAZELNUT LIGHT AND SWEET AND LARGE REGULAR BLACK 3 EQUAL! ANYTHING ELSE? When I got to the register I was infuriated but he was not the person working the register so I couldn't say anything to him, and I had to get back to work. But he did make a point of glarring at me through the window when he brough up my coffees. I should mention that this man did not speak English well, so I doubt he thought he was saying anything wrong. But I should not be yelled at because he doesn't speak English properly. I think he needs a recap of Customer Service. I will not be going to this location again.

Dunkin' Donuts the lazy managers

There is a Dunkin Donuts in Quincy, Ma on Sea st. I am a regualer at this store and it has great service with the exception of the Managers. When i go there I am on my way to work and i expect to be in and out with a perfect cup of coffee. Its early in the morning and busy so why is there only one crew member working up front, bouncing back and forth as fast as she can from coffee to ringing in the order to getting the donuts. Hey i thought mebey there short an employe today but im there everyday and now i relize what goes on. There is a manager that should be up front that has wondered down the back "hanging" out with her boyfriend/husband/ baker. This is unfair. A crew is slaving back and forth with a line of 10 people and all the managers & baker are in the back having a great time. I have taked to some of the crew to get a lil info and the whole time there doing nothing, there all reciving tips (when there doing nothing). I feel bad for the workers that work in the morning shift. When the managers are up there working together one on coffee and one on the register, all they do is gossip. This person that person blah blah blaH. HOW ABOUT YOU SHUT UP, CONCENTRATE SO I CAN GET THE RIGHT COFFEE FOR ONCE?!" Is what i feel like yelling at them. This dunkies is unbelivable, the crew works so hard in exchange to share there tips with a bunch of lazy need to get fired managers. I became friends with a young lady that worked there and all the stories she has told me, woah ! my heart goes out to all you hard workers, you deserve better. And PLEASE if your looking for a job stay away from the dunkin Donuts on Sea st in Quincy, Ma!

Dunkin' Donuts check witheld

11/12/09

I'm complaining because my manager Maria decided to withheld my check. I believe it is illegal and against the law for a manager to commit this act. Instead of her discussing why she wants to hold my check, she dismissed me early this morning when i came to work and gave me no information about being written up or anything. She has done this to many ex-employees before they quit the job. I dont want to quit or get fire because i think is unfair that she treats people like that so they can quit on their own. I heard from my ex-cooworkers that she starts writtin up and then she would cut their hours until they have no days to work. This act would make the employee quit on their own. This person is a very rude individual to co-wookers and to customers as well. If there is any information or any way i can fight this injustice my e-mail is [protected]@yahoo.com.

I would recommend going to the state employment board and lodging a complaint. I would also recommend bringing to their HR's attention in a formal complaint. This appears on the surface to be a blatantly unlawful termination and you are right that they are not allowed to withhold your earnings.

Dunkin' Donuts management

I had been a great employee for dunkin donuts in berwick since may of 2009, when I first started there, there were a few things I had noticed
but new owners were going to be taking over and making great changes. Except for some odd reason they kept the manager on there who doesnt know her head from a hole in the ground. I have worked for dunkin companies for many years and knew how things were run but not at this store. I had to take off of work for being sick and instead of her simpathizing she yelled at me. so I went in that day only to get weird looks from other employees, when I had asked another employee if they would like for me to work for them on one their days she kinda just looked at me and said no I would have to see this manager. From what I have seen and observed this manager talks about other employees behind their backs to other employees and then she punishes that employee with the schedule. I am a very hard worker and I was comitted to this job but to have to work in a place like that was riduculous and I can only hope that the new owners see exactly what kind of manager she is and do something about it. People I work with say they get anxiety if they are sick and have to call in afraid of what she would say. also I thought you were supposed to be able to get in touch with your manager 24/7 but at this shop its only when she is there. she has a number up but is never there. I am just asking the new owners to please talk to some of the employees and get their feedback on this manager.,

You are doing the same thing to your manager you hypocrite. Talking behind her back by posting this. I hope the new owner sees how immature and childish you are and corrects your behavior.

Dunkin' Donuts Drug use

I go into this store almost every morning around 5:15 am... And everytime i'm in that store I usually use the bathroom before getting my coffee, and just about everytime, there aways seems to be a strong stench of marijuana. I've asked the manager of the store about the smell, and she stated that I must be imaging things... Even made a side comment to another employee that I must be "high" when I come in... Only because i'm a good christain man I did not knock her teeth out for those remarks however, i've have befriended several employees, and they state that when come in, that the manager smells like marijuana, but they do not aproach her about it, for fear of being fired... Also, seems like the muffins I buy adonuts lways seem stale, like they were kept from the day before... Being that i've worked in a similar bakery place, I know that donuts have a 14 to 18 hour shelf life, so they should be thrown away... Not sold early the next morning... This place needs to be investigated... And all personel needs to be drug tested... Starting w/ that manager!

Dunkin' Donuts cockroach in coffee

The photograph is the cockroach that was in my coffee this morning. In fact, I had nearly swallowed it, when I felt something slimy and strange in my mouth. Luckily I spit it out.

This is the Dunkin Donuts at 2001 Chestnut St, in Philadelphia, PA.

I spoke to the manager, who said that pest control just came the day
before. She had nothing to offer except to replace my cup of coffee,
which is not what I'm seeking for. What I really want is an apology
and a promise to the customer that the store will do everything it can
to ensure the safety and quality of its products. Is that not too much
to ask?

Dunkin' Donuts messed up my order/poor quality

I've been going to this same Dunkin Donuts for about a year now, almost every morning on my way to work. Normally, the people who work there are very friendly, always get my order right, not to mention have good quality muffins.

This morning however, there were different people there. While the woman who took my order sounded nice enough, she didn't tell me my total and there was a semi-long pause before she told me to drive up. But whatever; not that big a deal.

When I got up to the window, I was only charged for my coffee, no muffin. (It was only after he hadn't given me a muffin, that I realized he also hadn't charged me for one.) So I said "What about my muffin?" and he apologized for having not rung that up, and fixed it. Really, he seemed like a pretty okay guy overall. Although he kinda gave me some attitude when I said "Oh, I probably didn't get the combo discount, huh?" (Really, it's only 10 cents, not that big a deal.) He paused giving me my change, and then handed my the coin part of my change saying, "There; now you have it."

He short changed me ten cents. Twenty if I include the combo discount.

So overall, it was a pretty disappointing trip to DD. But hey, I got my muffin, right?
Well, they gave me the wrong kind of muffin. Not to mention it was really dry... Really, the only thing they did right was my coffee.

Normally this Dunkin Donuts is really dependable! I'm gonna give them another couple weeks and see if things have improved.

I work 12:00am - 8:00am shiftt. On my way I'd really like to get a fresh cup of coffee from Dunkin Donuts for once. Maybe a fresh donut or bagel. I am very disappointed in Dunkin Donuts services and quality of their product. The employees are proudly setting up their show case with dry, dull, stale and crumbly pastries. When my order is stale and or my coffee is old, weak (watered down) i save it until i get off at 8:00am. I take it right back and they have the nerve to get an atitude. How do they think i felt when i got to work ? One worker had the odesity to say to me" if i bring anything back that he is not going to exchange it. You guys made the mistake or you're selling me old product. I'm surpose to just take the order and eat it. I don't think so. Huh, the donuts are baked daily i don't think so...

Dunkin' Donuts unsanitary practices

My name is Marvin King and I am from Philadelphia. Prior to writing this complaint, I was an avid Dunik Donuts (here on out will be referred to as DD) coffee drinker. On 9/19/09, I went to my local DD for a cup of coffee, (7500 City Ave., Philadelphia) but instead, I witnessed an act done by a DD employee that I could not believe. While I was waiting for service inside the DD store, I observed a female employee (Name unknown and Of Indian Descent) accidentally knock a plastic bucket full of coffee stirers on the floor. She kneeled down and picked them up. I assumed that she was going to throw them in the trash, since they were no longer usable. Surprisingly, the young lady placed all of the stirers back into the bucket and placed the bucket on the service counter. I yelled over to her, "Excuse me miss, you can't do that." She just looked at me and began speaking in her native tongue to one of her co-workers. Again, I chimmed in, "You can't do that to people." "You have to throw those away." When I saw that she didn't throw them away, I began to tell everyone who came into the store and in the parking lot, not to take a stirer if they bought coffee or some other beverage that would require stiring. Needless to say, I am no longer a patron of DD. I work for an organization consisting of 7, 000 employees, and I am going to make it a point to share this experience with as many of my co-workers as possible.

There must be an inquiry into this matter by the proper authorities, before someone developes an illness from the unsanitary practice that I unfortunately witnessed.

I am available for further comments or follow-up, should there be a need by the company's administration.

Dunkin' Donuts extremely poor customer service

I visited this store 9/27/09 around 11:35am. I ordered 2 donuts thru the drive thru. 1 donut was wrong and I noticed the donuts were put in the brown paper bag without being wrapped in the waxed paper. I parked the car and go inside the store to this matter corrected. I asked for the correct, which the manager (Bob Patel) gives me but he still puts the donut into the brown paper bag without it being wrapped in the waxed paper. He also takes the donut that I originally had and had my hands all over and puts it back with the rest of the donuts. I asked the manager for two new donuts wrapped in the wax paper and and tells me that he doesn't have to do that. I then asked for my money back because to me that is just not sanitary. He tells me no, he's not giving me anything and to get out of his store. I then asked for his name and the corporate number. He gives me his first name (only) but tells me he doesn't know the corporate number. I say, you are the manager and you don't know the corporate number. That doesn't make sense. He then tells me again to get the hell out of his store before he calls the police. I tell him to call the police. He then walks from behind the counter and puts his hands in my face and tell me again to get the hell out of his store before he calls the police. I then call the police myself. Then the manager finally gives more information such as his full name, store number and telephone number (still not the corporate number). These people at this location were not wearing any gloves and didn't wrap the food up (as they do in any other store) before putting it in a brown paper bag. This just is sanitary. The manager refuse to exchange the food or give my money and then puts his hands in my face telling me to get the hell out his store like I've done something wrong. This was ridiculous. Never again will I be visiting this store nor any other store. Something needs to be done about this.

Dunkin Donuts has changed the policy on the "wax paper" issue you are having. Since the employees hands touch the OUTSIDE of the wax paper it is UNSANITARY to put the wax paper in the bag with your product since a bare hand has touched it. It is policy to use the wax paper to pick up the donut and put into the bag and immediately throw away the wax paper. If you think about it this really is far more sanitary than to receive a piece of paper that someones hands has touched. Hope this answers your question and helps

Dunkin' Donuts overcharged

Recently I noticed that Dunkin Donuts are either creating unpublished prices or just plainly over charging customers. The first time I realized it was when I ordered a small black coffee with whip cream instead of cream, while at the Dunkin Donuts by Cederbrook mall on 309 in Philadelphia. They charged me .75 cents for whip cream. They never give you a receipt because they are either creating a price or adding additional charges not posted. The second time, I ordered a plain bagel with butter and was charged .50 cents for butter. Where are these prices posted? How are they regulated from store to store? Or is it just to cover the overhead needed to buy another Franchise. It's where ever you go, today 10/3/08, I was at the Dunkin Donuts in Camden, New Jersey (16 S. Broadway); I ordered Hash Browns (a side order). They are posted to sale for .75 cents. However, when told my total I was charged $1.38. I asked for a receipt, which took a minute and asking for it several times, it showed I was charged $1.29 plus .09 tax. Most of these stores are run and own by persons who do not speak English as their first language, so when you question them they pretend not to understand you. I wonder, at the end of the day what is the total of the additional profits from cheating customers all day? ASK FOR A RECEIPT AND SEE WHAT YOU ARE BEING CHARGED AS WELL AS JB (JUST BECAUSE) ADDED CHARGES!

You can try and call the Dunkin Donuts corporate on these issues. Each store is independently owned so they make their own prices but they still have to follow alot of ruled from corporate.

Dunkin' Donuts refusal of refund on mistaken swipe of credit card

I have been going to this Dunkin Donuts every single day for 13 years, me & the manger are on a first name basis, I do not even place my order anymore she automatically knows what I order. I went in this morning and my order total came to $6.34, I gave the woman working there my debit card which she swiped and told me it declined, I asked her to retry the card so she swiped it again, again it declined, I proceeded to pay her with cash as I was late for work. I called my credit card comapny to find out why the card declined when I had a $13.00 balance, they told there had been 2 holds put on the card for $6.34 each from Dunkin Donuts, they informed me I needed to contact the merchant to have the holds released. I called the store and they told me there were no holds put on the card that the card had declined, but 2 holds were put on the card and the lady I was dealing with was treating me as if I were some thief trying to get $13.00 that wasn't owed to me after visiting this establishment for 13 years, I will never go back into this establishment and I thinkv this employee should be repremanded for her treatment of a VERY LOYAL Customer that the store has just lost.

Dunkin' Donuts employees blatantly ignoring customers

Every time I visit the Smyrna Dunkin Donuts or Baskin Robbins, no matter what time of day, i feel like I am in the middle of a school playground at recess. Rarely do I see a manager or authoritative figure present, the music is always set to play hard core rap and is inappropriately loud. i keep giving both stores chance after chance hoping things will improve-even after i spoke to a manager- blonde hair and a slim build. (no nametag, incoherent speech, said name was billy or bill. couldnt wait to get rid of me) nothing has changed. if anything, it has gotten worse. colleagues, friends and family of mine have given up on both establishments and now take their business elsewhere. there is no hierarchy or chain of command on either side. lots of profanity and cell phone use. elderly woman came into baskin robbins when i was there one night before closing; she was COMPLETELY ignored by young girls text messaging on their phones and i heard, loud and clear, 1 or 2 employees complain about the "###ed people that come in right before we close". the elderly woman heard this and walked out with a disheartened look on her face. 2 female employees that i believe arrived for work around 10:00pm, were the only staff members i had ever encountered there to express genuine concern and helpful solutions to my complaints- and managed to not speak negatively about any other employees. they were professional, pleasant, personable...now, i've made it a habit to bring my patronage to dunkin donuts ONLY after the interior part is closed. i know i can expect consistent, speedy and all around exceptional service from the bakers, which is unfortunate, because every experience should be consistent and at least satisfactory. i have had to adjust my daily schedule around my late night visits...which i look forward to 4 times a week. i only wish i could feel that way ANY time of day, regardless of which employees are working.

You really need to call the corp number, but remember that they franchize it out. The number to Corp for Dunkin Donuts is [protected]. The number for Baskin Robins is [protected]. Try those, but remember that even if they use the same space they are seperate companies. Have tha address for them and any names that you know. Plan what you are going to say before you call. You dont hav e to be mean to be understood. If you are calm and have facts, dates and names it will be easier for you and them. Most companies take this kind of thing very seriously, so you WILL be heard. :) One bad emplyee/manager doesn't mean the company is bad. But your voice is what they need to take care of bad situations. So give em a call :)

Dunkin' Donuts e. coli/salmonella cover up

Upper management and packaging/shipping warehouses trying to keep e. Coli contamination quiet, stating to customers they are "temporarily out of stock" of dunkaccino, white chocolate, and hot chocolate. Statewide news broadcast in late june, 2009, did a story about aforementioned beverages being contaminated w e. Coli and/or salmonella due to negligent, careless packaging and shipping from northeast hub. Products were left in the machine long before and after contamination news broke to public. Employees were instructed to lie to customers if they inquired about this issue by telling them "those products never left the truck" and "no trace of said contaminated product was anywhere in the store"... When in reality, the hot chocolate machine was stocked up with the contaminated powder, only 4 feet away from the inquiring customer.

Dunkin' Donuts poor service and product

Basically i've tried every dunkin donuts in chelsea and they always either get my order wrong or coffee taste like sweet water with milk. Yuck! The dd at bellingham square was winning my favor in regards to taste (Even though I always have to make sure they serve my coffee correctly) until recently that their coffee has been tasting watery as well. Its either watery or taste re-heated. Once in a while I am served fresh coffee which taste soo good, rich coffe with just enough milk yummy. Anyway I don't understand why the coffee doesn't taste the same every time. Don't they have a measuring spoon or cup where they can never go wrong with how much coffee to put in their coffee maker? I am really considering trying other places like honey dew's but the problem is that there isn't any close by. Meanwhile in tiny tiny little chelsea there's about 6 dd's and they all stink. = (I'm not a happy camper! I was trying to send a complaint directly to dd website, but I couldn't find where, I just want them to know this so that they can so something about it and everyone can enjoy a well made coffee, not a cup of water with milk and a hint of coffee coloring.

Dunkin' Donuts awful food

Danesh, the manager of Dunkin' Donuts' hired most of the employees who come from his native land gujrat, india, he always talking with them in gujrati language that is really disturbing for the other employees and for the guest. He always favor those employees, for example: he make their schedule 8 hour a day, but on monday one of them work only 5 hour but she is paid for 8 hour. The manager and the other employees talking and laughing in front of the guest and make fun of the other employees. The manager never let one of his gujrati employee to do the side job and to make the sandwiches. So, its very hard to work with them for the employees.

I didn't see her name on her name tag but there is a Dunkin' Donuts employee that yells at me every time I go there! Obviously she doesn't like it when I hand her coupons. Today she said in a nasty tone that the coupon wasn't for this store but it said it was for Dunkin' Donuts throughout Nassau and Suffolk county! Then she scanned the coupons. When she swiped my debit card, she did it angrily and didn't give me a receipt and she kept giving me dirty looks! She's been nasty to me a total of three times whenever she's there and takes my order! I don't feel like going there anymore being treated that way and I was never mean to her or any of the employees there at all.

On jan 31, 2017, I received a dunkin donuts gift certificate booklet with 21 free cups of coffee. I was so happy to use it because I loved drinking dunkin donuts coffee. I decided to use one of my gifts certificates at the dd on 179-15 hillside ave. When I tried to redeem it, the employees told me that had to show them the boklet. I didn't walk with the booklet because I didn't want to lose it. I explain it to them but the said I had to buy it. I asked to speak to the manager because I didn't see anything writting on the certificate that I needed to bring the entire booklet. His excuse was that the employees were returning the certificate to the customers and the the customers were reusing it. The first thing that came to my mind was, "that was not my problem". I told him that he need to train his staff and that he should not penalized the customers for his employees ethical behavior. He got pissed off and began yelling at me. When I asked for a phone number to complain. He told me the f*k*g number is agianst the wall. I left the store and dialed the number and he picked up the phone. I was so pissed off that I could not complian to someone who would tell him that he is wrong for treating me or any other customer the way he did. I will no longer shop at dd because they do not allow there customers a chance to complain on the managers.

Every time I visit the Dunkin' Donuts in Hackensack NJ on Hudson street they charge me a different price. I order the same thing all the time, one toasted butter bagel. Three weeks ago they charged me $1.29, last week they charged me $1.39, today they charged me $1.49. What's up with that? I mentioned that to them and they just told me to keep my receipt. Um...and what do I do with it? Another thing...when I get my order many times it's incorrect. Today my bagel was not toasted, last week they gave me a croissant instead of a bagel and that's not the only time, numerous times my order is incorrect as well as the pricing. This particular Dunkin Donuts is run by Asians, maybe they don't understand English? I don't get it but I'm not happy with the service there at all.

I always have the worst experiences at The Dunkin Donuts in hempstead. They have the worst workers that do not know anything. I order the same thing every morning. I order a toasted Cinnamon raisin bagel wtih cream chese and jelly and a small tea. Every morning they give me a plain bagel with butter and a large hot chocolate. At first i thought they were giving me someone elses order but it happens all the time. Other people say they do the same thing to them. Its like they give you what ever they feel like giving you. When you take it back u get nothing but an attitude. They try to rush u like you have just inconvienienced them. When you ask to speak to the manager they always say he will be in later. I hate that place but it is the only one around with a drive through and really the only place like it.

The same thing used to happen to me until I stopped going to Dunkin Donuts. I'd go to the same one in Toms River, NJ at least twice a week. I'd order the exact same thing: toasted bagel with cream cheese. I'd get charged a different price every time, and when I finally brought it up to them, they got irate and said to show them receipts next time. Well that's great and all, but when I started asking them for my receipts (because they never give them to you), they would get very annoyed as if it required a lot of extra work on their end.

Also, my order would often be messed up (wrong item/not toasted). Also, they'd often just put a little scrape of cream cheese where you'd barely notice any was there. This is true of other Dunkin Donuts around here as well. SAME problems.

The other problems are language barrier and attitude. Once, the woman got incredibly annoyed and told me to "hurry up" as I was giving her money. They don't tell you the cost of the order, nor do they give you any signal that they've taken down your order and that it's time to move to the next window, so of course you're racing to get the correct change out when you pull up to the window and they finally tell you the price. When I suggested, very kindly-even after being scolded to hurry up, that they should mention the price after taking down your order, I had the window shut on me.

This is not a complaint of minorities owning the store; this is a complaint of the service provided at many of these stores. I don't care who's serving me as long as they provide decent service.

Have the corporate heads addressed these problems at all?

Dunkin' Donuts coffee tastes like dirty water

The coffee tastes weak and like it is made w/dirty water. I work in a large company and quite a few people here have said it is disgusting and will not go there again. I called and told the manager the coffee was not good. We won't be going there anymore. It is gross! Don't know if a new manager or owner, but a few weeks ago there was never an issue w/their coffee. It used to be great.

I love Coffee and have never had a bad cup from Dunkin. I buy Dunkin hole beens and grind them my self and they have the greatest Jelly Donuts! You sound like a cronic complainer who would complain if it was raining 10 dollar bills because they were not 20's. Foo to you!

Dunkin' Donuts stale/bad food

No matter when you go to the DD in Altoona on Plank Road, they are out of what ever it is you order. For instance, tonight we went through drive through and no matter what we ordered, they were either out or only had one or two left. This was out of a dozen donuts that we were ordering. I finally, exasperated, asked them if they still made their products fresh. The girl got snippy and snapped "he's ready to begin making some now!" Well, "he" was no where NEAR ready, as we could see "him" through the window, and "he" was flirting with the only customers in the store, greasy looking hair in his face, not even in a net!
We spent over $20.00 on some of the STALEST and nastiest donuts we have ever tasted, and intend to report this store to the health department first thing in the morning.
I don't remember ever tasting fresh donuts out of this store!

Dunkin' Donuts store is out of control

Dunkin Donuts at 4090 Boston Rd., Bronx NY 10475- 5/24/09 7:21pm- my wife and I went to this Dunkin Donuts today, pulled up to the drive-through microphone and the speaker here never works right.. i heard the guy say something I figured it was 'Dunkin Donuts can I help you'? So I said 'two small coffees' I kid you not the next thing the guy said is "what about them"? So, I said 'what'? The young guy said 'what about them' again? So I said 'what do you mean', he then said "what do you want me to do with them" so I said "juggle them". I figured what ever the guys having a bad day or he just likes to fool around a little.. I can take that.. but then I went to the window to get my stuff and I gave the guy my credit card.. he handed me various bags and the receipt so I left. Shortly after I asked my wife if the guy had given me the credit card back.. I couldn't find it so I called back and this guy picked up the phone.. so I asked him "why didn't you give me my credit card back" to which he said "what"? So I said "you heard me", he then said "oh did you leave your credit card here"? So I said 'no you didn't hand it back to me with the receipt'? "Why"? He then said "it was on the ledge" so I asked to speak to the manager because the first comment of "what about it" was now seeming to be too much for one visit along with this guy not giving me my credit card back.. Now I had to drive back to pick it up. So I asked for the manager and this guy told me "she's on her break" so I asked him to let me hear him ask her to come to the phone which he did and she came to the phone. I explained to the woman what the man said to me at the drive-up and that he also kept my credit card back.. She said "the guy behind you was beeping at you because we were showing your credit card out of the drive-through window". I didn't hear any beeping but I had pulled over right near the window to put sugar in the coffee so i asked 'why didn't you come out and give me my credit card I was out there putting sugar in my coffee for a while" the manager said ' we only have 3 people working' so I told her that as manager she should have run my card out to me and I asked her how could she let me drive away after all they didn't know how far away I lived. So I asked what was she going to give me free for my inconvenience? She said come in and you can have 1/2 a dozen of donuts. So we went back and I said a few words to the guy about his joking around which he said nothing back to. My wife began to pick out things now. My wife didn't know that we were only aloud 'donuts' so she began to order muffins, a bagel and a croissant.. as soon as my wife had put 6 things in the bag the manager said "NO ONLY DONUTS NO MUFFINS, NO BAGELS" So I said if you would have given me my card I wouldn't be here! I also asked the manager why she didn't correct my wife after she picked out the first muffin, why wait til the whole bag is filled to say something? So then I said whatever give me a mix of anything. The lady there put 6 donuts in a bag (there was a long line of people) and I walked over and smashed them all into the garbage receptacle with force so everyone saw it! My wife and I walked out of the store and let me tell you.. we didn't feel like 'valued customers', to say the least! This is also my second incident at this store in the Bronx that I've made a complaint to DD's corporate office! i recall after the first 'complaint' that Dunkin Donut sent me some 10% off coupon that I could have gotten in my weekly circular? Dunkin Donuts corporate office obviously did NOTHING about this stores disgusting attitude. Just in case anyone might think that it's me I would like to say that I have been a Dunkin Donutes customer from the 1980's long before all the DD stores began to pop up.. My point is that for over 20 years I have made 2 complaints. Nuff said!

I agree, coffeeluvr made a mistake, he should have asked for his credit card back. They apologized admitted their part of the mistake. They give him more stuff than he paid for. Six donuts when he just ordered two coffees. They instruct him on what he can get and not get. His wife is unable to follow simple instructions, takes more expensive items. He finally throws the free donuts out. He did not want them in the first place. He just wanted to push his way around and show that he is in charge.

You couldn't ask, "Can I get two small coffees, please?" I would have responded the same way that the guy working there did! Use your manners and you might get some in return.

C'mon give the guy a break. It's not his fault that they neglected to him his card back. Maybe the kid should have been less concerned with being a smartass and more on doing his job. Then when he gets home and calls the store, he again has to endure the wrath of Mr. Funny Guy. Losing a credit card is not a joking matter and for all this guy knew, the kid could have stolen the numbers off the card. I don't necessarily agree with smashing donuts in the trash but I can surely understand his frustration.

Oh and as for the manager being "inconvenienced" while on break, it's her job. She is the person of authority there and if she can't own up to the responsibility, then she needs to demote herself and start slinging donuts for minimum wage. I'm so tired of bleeding hearts blaming poor customer service on the customer. It's not as though the guy drove up there, ordered his stuff and said "please, oh please, don't give me my credit card back.

Dunkin' Donuts under cooked and over charged

I purchase a muffin and iced coffee every morning at the same Dunkin Donuts located on Long Pond Road in Plymouth, MA. On two different occasions my muffin has been under cooked. I asked the girl to make sure my muffin was cooked this morning before she gave it to me and all I received was attitude. Then when I got to the window to pay they over charged me by .21 cents. When I told her that every morning I pay $3.24 she told me I was wrong and the price is the price. Nice customer service! In this economy I would want my employees to be nice to every customer and make sure that the food I prepare for them is cooked! What a way to start out a morning.
