I purchased trend micro p - cillin at a local business last year in march 2009. I did not - repeat - did not, authorize renewal on my credit card, and this anti - virus, anti - spyware is not installed in my computer as of march 10, 2010. Trend Micro unauthorized charge to my credit card

2010 Feb 12, my credit card was charged $48.10 without my authorization. I want my money back immediately! Judging by the amount of complaints and the lenth of time this has been going on it is obviously not an "gliche". If I dont get a response in three days, I will do my share of whistleblowing. If you have charged my account at any other time without my authorization I expect that reimbursement as well. I tried your product after reading Consumer Reports and getting their opinion of your product. I will be sending them an email explaining what customers can expect down the road. I bought your service one time and did not like it. It slowed my computer down soooo much. That is the only authorized transaction. I have the last five years of bank records.

purchased virus control product once and six months later had an unauthorised charge of 39.95, for renewal. I had actually rid myself of the PC and bought an apple witch does not require virus protection, apr 09.

Trend Micro product sucks

Trend micro product sucks! I downloaded a trial version, and the software froze my computer. I was not able to delete the software either going control panel or the file itself or even shortcut. The worst is that I was not able to disable the function and it launches as soon as my computer starts, so I must have reboot my computer a hundred times — for real!

I spent two days and read thru various forum, then utilizing my dignostic mode which then allowed me to download software from trend micro in order to remove the original software. What kind of stupid company makes such stupid product for consumer to download another software to remove the original!?! I will never buy trend micro product ever even if the company pays me to do so. Stupid company makes stupid products and I hope they go out of business for wasting my time!

Trend Micro is a virus itself and they should be sued. It literally sends log files of your personal information to their company when you uninstall it using their uninstall tool. If you ask me it’s worse than ransom ware.

Trend Micro unauthorised transaction

I made a purchase of microtrend anti virus protection last year. I have never authorised a renewal yet the have gone ahead to authorise a transaction and debited $75.28 to the credit card I used for the original transaction.

Never had problems with trend micro, and that includes renewals / autorenewals. It is pretty clear on their page when you purchase the program if it is with an autorenewal or not and there is also an option to turn it off at will!

I was charged $39.95 by Micro Trend on a computer I no longer use. I feel that this is unfair; they did not ask my permission to renew this service or to charge my account.

i was charged for a service i did not receive on my discoer card which I have filed a dispute with. If this is something that originally came with my lap top I have chosed my own services andpaid for accordingly Please remove the chage or I will take further action. Looking at the number of complaints posted it would appear that this is a service not welcomed by most

Hi on 01/24/2010 a charge was posted on my credit card (discover) and Idid not authorize it. I have not talked to any one from your company on a renewal /order so I would like this charge removed from my card and all future dealings ceased. I do not need coverage as I have it with my internet service (comcast) I have spoke with my credit card and told them I am disputing the charge. thank you . roxjac@comcast.net please respond to my email so I know you are working on this.

Same exact thing happened to me. Not only did they do this once to me, I just got my 3rd auto-renewal charge. The first two times they insisted that it would not happen again AND the computer it was on, does not even work. I hope someone who can afford it will sue them. Trend Micro needs to be investigated and audited for their billing practices.

Trend Micro renewal

I recently {11/2} had an auto-renewal for trendmicro security and told I was being upgraded. Before upgrade I could designate Spam and it would automatically be transferred from Inbox to Spam box. Now almost all spam remains in Inbox even after it is designated as spam. I haveto then manually designate and move the spam to remove it from the inbox. There is no memory of designated spam and I have to remove it over and over daily, manually. This to me is not a satisfactory upgrade ! Is this a malfunction? Is it correctable? Please advise!

I have been billed 42.80 on my credit card 11/20/2009 and purchased nothing from your company, EVER! This is not a renewal, nor an original purchase, I have never done business with you and want my money returned immediately! I also have no issue in contacting the attorney general in this matter. I realize that the amount of money we're talking about is fairly small but it is the principle. I have never chosen to do business with you and you have stolen from me. I look forward to a speedy return of this money.

I made an online purchase nov. 10 to continue my trend antivirus coverage...the order was to be charged at $31.95 as per advertised upon purchase...however, my credit card reflects $39.95..which was actually more costly than if I were to purchase the disc and download myself...I have tried on several occasions to get a representative to assist me...with no success, I hope someone will acknowledge this email and help me.

I was charged $38.47 for something I have no idea what for. Only used card twice this month. I would like my credit credited for that, amount. I have never heard of DRI*TREND MICRO ORDERFIND.COMMN, and have no idea how they charged my account. Trend Micro unlawful charges for a product I did not order

On november 14, I decided to renewed mt trend antivirus on - line. I used my master card little did I know that my computer had a virus. When I tried to download dri* trend micro it didn't do anything. I received my credit card statement you charge me $6. 99 & $49. 95. You took my money I didn't get your product. I will be calling citi to let them know what happen i'm not paying a company when don't have nothing to show for. I have another antivirus in my computer. Next year you don't have to worry about reminding me it's time to renew. I need to here from you about this matter.

The only way to stop them is to get a complete new card. I have went byond measures for three years with this company trying to get a refund every year. If you have the same card number they will keep charging you. My card on file with them expired three years ago. Every year they just guess at the expiration date and recharge me. It was proven today when I called my bank as they said they tried to submit the card 2 times with expired date on card. Third time they guessed the date and transaction went through.

or contact your banks's debit card claims dept to stop recurring charges.. most have 02 codes..either that or to be safe since most software or magazines do recurring charges, block your card. get a new one.

I was charged $44.95 on my debit by dri *trend micro, orderfind.com on April 5, 2010. I did NOT order this and I did NOT authorize this amount to be taken out of my checking account. I want my money put back in my checking account NOW! I will be contacting my bank. If I do not recieve my credit to my checking account I will have to take the next steps. You do not need a photo.

An unauthorized pending withdrawal was made from my bank acct on 10/02/2009 in the amount of about $36.00... This is unexcusable and should not have been done w/o the account holders consent... The company holding that website should not be trusted and a full investigation is in progress.

Trend Micro billed for services

I was charge on my credit card to renew my security virus program to detect for virus on my computor. This was renewed on 07 / 18 / 2009. Which was posted on my credit card statement as of today, i do not have the renewal. This company charged my credit card in the amount of 57. 94. I find that this is a scam to make the customer feel that they are going to receive the services that they have paid for. I would like to have a refund or upgrade and renew the services that they warrant to to deliver.

I was "double billed" for DRI Trend Micro antivirus ...very unethical of them to bill you for twice or more than the going rate...I disputed the charge on the credit card...will look for another antivirus program with a better reputation than Trend Micro.

We just renewed our virus protection. Just got it back on our computer anyway. Now it comes up that its expired. It just read that we had until the end of the year, which is crazy because on April 4, 2009, we renewed it. So would think it would be good until April, 2010. Trend Micro auto renew despite having e-mailed to cancel

I specifically went on trend micros web site to cancel the auto renewal, and it was renewed any way. When I called to complain, I was told I would be transferred to a supervisor, put on hold and eventually cut off. This pattern repeated each time I called back. This is clearly a scam.

Trend Micro did not get this product

I try to order the tend micro anti virus for my computer and you could not do it that night that i tryed my husband seen you message back to me we tryed 2 times and could not get it so it did not go throught and yoy had no right to take the money out of my account and then on top of that you made me get a over draft because i went the next day to best buy and had it installed for me so you owe me 35. 00 two times for the 39. 99 and the 6. 95 and if this is not taken care of in one week i will call the better bisiness on you company.

Trend Micro dri*digitalriver

I discovered that my account was debited for $44.95. It was taken by a company called DRI*DigitalRiver. I did not authorize this charge. I didn't even know what company this was. So I decided to google it. I saw numerous other complaints about unauthorized charges from this company. Others were saying that it was from Trend-Micro. I decided to call them, because I do have this software on my computer. They said the charge did come from them and that I had signed up to have my account renew automatically. This was not TRUE. I did not authorize them to do this! So, for anyone who uses Trend Micro Internet Security please call and make sure they didn't take it upon themselves to sign you up for this!

when you purchase software from the internet, especially any time of term service, ie: year - 2 year ect... its actually in the fine print that you agree to sign up for autopay next year. its very clever, its in the terms of service that we never read. ive been stung once by norton.
