DRI Element5.com CC scam

"CKCD DEBIT 04/04 DRI*DR KASPERSKY element5.info MN"

Legitimate? Auto-renewal? ###! My card was charged for this software product that I never have and never would purchase. There were several other bogus charges made a few days later. BTW, I have the only card in my physical possession and no one else knows the number. I think that the postings claiming legitimate renewal charges are complicit in this scam themselves. Someone should file a criminal complaint against this company. Even if they are not actively defrauding their customers, the overwhelming evidence is that they are culpably negligent with confidential information.

DRI Element5.com Unauthorized or Fraudulent charge

BoA sends me emails letting me know which charges have been made on our account. (Which I am extremely grateful. THEY ARE WONDERFUL ABOUT PROTECTING MY ACCOUNT) There is one from DRI ELEMENT5.COM, a c ompany I have never even heard of. This card is used for business purchases only. EVEN if I was aware of this company, no charge would have been made to this card.

I had $39.95 charged to my card... I called PC Tools [protected].

They gave me the number [protected] for Element5. I called them and I had bought a program called PST Sync and this was a legitimate charge.

But this Element5 is the most illusive company.

I hope this info can help others.

DRI Element5.com Fraudulent Credit Card Charges

I had my credit card locked away in an effort to reduce charges and pay it off and hadn't used it in months. I looked on my statement one month and i had an unauthorized charge from dri element5.com on my credit card. i did a quick Google search and found tons of fraudulent charges on peoples accounts. Needless to say I am irate and disgusted. This company is seriously committing fraud and getting rich off of the American people (or maybe even world-wide for all I know!) I hope they go to jail. I have an ongoing investigation on them right now through my cardholder.

How do I go about cancelling the software download. Is there a phone # for customer service. We have 2 charges on our credit card, but in trying to contact them on-line, they claim they have no account with us.

My e-mail is foster5291@att.net

June 29, 2009 - Hi everyone,

I called Element 5's customer service department at [protected] and it turned out that a charge that went thru my Visa account was in another person's name, with a different address, and a different company name. Element 5 said it looked fraudulent, so they are in the process of refunding my money (CDN$30). Somehow a transaction went thru with my card number, but the wrong customer.

I noticed 3 separate charges on my account totaling over $200.00 fromthese ###. It took an hour to cancel my card because my credit union was closed and the credit card company said that they could not find their info. I can't wait to talk to my credit union this morning and will be filing a police report against these ###.

They just did it to me too, today, for $49.86. I don't even know who or what they are. The last on-line purchase with my card was for Consumer Report online. My bank thinks it is from there site that they got my information. HOW IRONIC>

This company has a charge of 29.95 pending on my son's student checking account that he did not authorize and has never heard of this company before. I have contacted BoA and they are going to set up a stop payment and repost the money to my son's account as soon as this charge posts. I have no clue how they got his account information because he does not shop or use his card on the internet.

I think its disgusting how the companies do this and get away with it.

I too have been scammed by Dri Elements5.com and confirm its origin is PC Tools.com. I have contacted all parties possibly complicit in fraudulent acts and have contacted both the California and US Attorneys General's Office and Fraud units. My next step is to file a Class Action case against these parties and would seek others to join. Contact RF Landon at info@thec3group.com

I too have been SCAMMED by this company. I've never heard of DriElement 5 and yet, somehow, they were able to charge my account 3 separate times totaling $69.85! What a RACKET.

I've called my bank and they said ### companies like drielement 5 do these kind of shady things all the time. I can't figure out how they got my debit card number, but I've canceled my card and had to order a new one.
I guess it pays to be diligent with your bank account to watch out for stuff like this.

There was an unauthorized amount that came out of my checking account. These people are scam artists and this company or what ever it is should be shut down and fined and/or imprisoned for fraud.

Element 5 has two programs, Spyware Doctor and Registry Mechanic that they charge for annually to use these. Unless you tell them not to, they will automatically charge your account when renewing your subscription

I have just discovered a debit from my business account of £79 ($115) in the name of DRI WWW ELEMENT5 I.

Like many other who have reported an unauthorised debit by DRI WWW ELEMENT5 I, I have reported it as a fraudulent transaction.

I wonder who this company is and how I could find out where they are based? I wonder if I will get the money back too!
