Avast Software avasti professional (not free)

I have been double billed for years for my purchase of avasti antivirus software. Whether it is because of their billing service or something else, I don't know or care — I purchased the product online using only the product name — if avasti cares about their reputation, they should help me to resolve this problem. I get nothing but call-back promises. At least let me know to whom to complain!

Avast Software unauthorized credit card charges

My bank account has a pending charge from 3/6/18 for $109.59. I have never heard of your company and made no purchase for products. I have to invoice or client number or email from anyone at Avast. I do not own any businesses, at all! This is fraud and have reported it to my bank. Contact me at carolynn.[protected]@gmail.com to resolve this with out further escalation.

I was told i would be notified near end of free trial so I would not be charged. I received notice on the same day my bank account was charged. $64.94 and I had not used the program in weeks as it caused problems for my PC.

Avast Software dri*avastsoftware

At 08:47:07 CET February 27 2018 a sum of 449kr was pulled from my PayPal account. An inquiry to the email listed as contact on PayPal was returned to sender by office 365. This leading me to belive that it is a scam.
There is a earlier withdrawal on Mars 4 2017 on the amount of 249kr, this I do recall ordering.
I went to my account and can't find a trace that my license has been renewed. Will you please help me get this sorted out as soon as possibly?

Avast Software dri*avast software minnetonka mn

Avast charged an unauthorized payment on my credit card. I had called to cancel the automated payment and asked them not to take it out. They agreed. Now I'm wondering if they scamed me to begin with because their service did not fix my computer. I have not used my computer for 2 years. I have a new device that works fine. I would appreciate it if someone could look into this matter. I would like to know if it was originally a scam and whether everything is compromised in my system.

Avast Software unauthorized credit card charges

on Tuesday, January 09, 2018 my Discover card ending in 2123 was charged with a software purchase of $59.99.I have a free Avast account but have no knowledge of this transaction and would like to have this charge removed from my account. I did not order this software and would like to have this resolved as soon as possible. Wondering how this company gained access to my Discover Card.

Avast Software unauthorized card charge

On January 16th, 2018 my MasterCard at Nordea Bank Sweden with the last digits ...4124 has been debited with the amount 449 SEK. The receiver is DRI AVAST Software, and the reference of the payment is: "avast com ord".

I have a valid Avast Internet Security with expiration date 10/2/2019 so I neither had any need to extend my Avast license nor I had definitely authorized the above transaction.

I request return of 449 SEK to my MasterCard as the above withdrawal caused the debit on my credit account.

On the 09 November 2021, I purchased Avast Anti-track Premium to the cost of R99 which was debited from credit card ending with 3884.

But now a year later on 11.10.2022 an amount of R479 was debited from credit card ending with 3884 for the above mentioned product, of which it is a transaction I never authorized it and do not know about.

I would request a refund of R479 since I never authorized it and no longer using windows O/s!

Avast Software avast software charges to my amex

Dear Sir/Madam,
on 11/28/17 my AMEX was charged 2 times for the amount of $53.43 under the "DRI*AVAST SOFTWARE" from "AVAST.COM/ORD"
1st. GC4322012330055343 and 2nd. GC4322732550055343.
I do not recall ordering any software from you, was this charge in error ?
Please advise before I call AMEX to cancel this charges.

Avast Software avast-being charged twice

In Dec. earlier this month, my trial was running out so I opted to buy Avats on sale.
I have been charged $49.91 and $41.59. I would like a refund of the $49.91 as I cannot pay both.
My adapter burned out and I couldn't cancel the free trial roll over.
The one Key I have is: [protected] MN 55343
I am not a company I am a consumer and I don't understand the thing I marked other.

Avast Software avast antivirus/unauthorized credit card charges

two years ago, unhappy with avast services, I cancelled my subscription.
I was never refunded any money. a year later, I had money withdrawn from my account for another years service, without my acknowledgement. I was livid. I called and talked to someone there and told them to refund my money and to never use my account again. lo and behold, 4 days ago, they did it again!

Avast Software my credit card was charged by avast for same thing that I didn't purchase or asked

According to my credit card report on 18 of November 2017 i was charged by DRI AVAST SOFTWARE USA an amount of 49.99 US$ .I didn't make any purchase from AVAST lately . I am an AVAST client number [protected] and i have an active subscription till 9 of June 2018. My last payment to AVAST was done with the same credit card.
Please check the meaning of this payment and confirm if is done by AVAST by error or the credit card details were used by an unauthorized person . I alrady inform the credit card company for an unauthorized charged.

Avast Software computer cleaning program

I never authorized this transaction, period. It just showed up on my credit card bill. I would appreciate a complete refund for this charge. I don't have documents or invoices in regard to this transaction because I did not purchase it. There is no correspondence, the charge just showed up on my credit card. This is all the information I can give you.

I do not have a computer and cancelled this over a year ago. Why was I charged? I want this removed from my Discover bill immediately. I don't have any other comment so I'll just ramble along to get 350 characters. I am a senior citizen living on a fixed income. I do not have a computer any more and want this cancelled as I was promised it would be. Ok I've gone over 350 characters.

Avast Software avast reference id: [protected] unauthorized credit card charge.

I am not a business. My name is Richard W. Booth and on 10/25/17 I found an unauthorized charge on my credit card for a product which I know nothing about. therefor I request that you return this payment immediately. This unauthorized charge seems to be for Avast Secureline.
I had cancelled the same charge last year at this time to stop your unauthorized charge a year ago. you people have so many complaints about your products, service and unauthorized credit card charges that you should go bankrupt. please refund my money now.

Avast Software avast internet security and avast cleanup

I do not like these two products (Avast Internet Security and Avast Cleanup) and when I called to cancel them I was told there would be no refund because I had passed the 30 day use period. The Avast Internet Security still has 9 months left on the contract and the Avast Cleanup has 18 months left. Aside from it being very difficult to speak to an Avast service representative I am also angry at their refund policy. MY Bad! Won't happen again. Beware of the Avast predatory marketing practices!

Avast Software unauthorized credit card charge - refund request

So I tecieved an E-mail about automatic renewal of avast software called avast cleanup 6 days ago. Becuase I didn't want it I clicked on the link for my subscriptions portal. And Then the website told me:
We are sorry, an unexpected error occurred processing your request. Please try again.
So I didn't know what to do. I went to options in avast in my pc and I disabled avast clean up. I was hoping it wouldn't be renewed since I disabled it.

Now I am getting email for automatic renewal and I am really unhappy with it. I haven't permitted avast (or at least I couldn't cancel it) anywhere for automatic renewal and I would like my money back.

I have the same problem with Avast 6 mo later. the links in their email do not work and the go to the portal connects to nothing. I emailed them two weeks ago and have yet to get a reply.

Unfortunately disabling Avast clean-up just disables a feature in the program, and does not affect your subscription in any way. 9wood gave excellent advice. If you have been charged already, try contacting Avast directly to see if they can assist you with a refund.

Avast Software billing

I cancelled my premium membership december 10/2015. I don't know how I missed this but they charged me 53.11 on march 6 of this hear an again on october 29th. I haven't had this for 2 years and all of a sudden they start charging me again. Trying to get a hold of this company is a nightmare. Some of the phone numbers are out of service, tech support is useless, their a bunch of [censor], the renewal e-mail they sent me had a licence number and a password to get into my account, which I closed 2 years ago keeps telling me its invalid of course it is you [censor] there's no account. The e-mail I received after I finally got a hold of these scammers said that my money will be refunded because I asked for the money back before the 30 day warranty was up, what about the money you stole from me in march. I still have the free version that wont even open now, it keeps giving me an error code. I want every cent that this company stole from me back in my account or I will be in touch with consumer affairs, the better business bureau and my states attorney general.

Avast Software unknown

I was charged $44.99 for something I never ordered or received and now I have been charged a $25 NSF fee for a purchases I never requested nor had money to pay for. I would like the $44.99 returned AND the $25 fee returned because I Don't have any way to replace it. PLEEASE!
I am on disability and only receive 1034.00 per month and my rent alone is half that. I couldn't afford the basic service in the first place. I have had my account unlawfully accessed 4 time now and I can't take it anymore. Please, please fix this because I have no where to get the money and I can't even pay my bills next month until this is resolved!

You should attempt to contact Avast to see if they can assist you. If a mistake was made by you, then you will most likely not have the funds returned. However if the charges were fraudulent or unauthorized, then contact your bank to dispute the charges and get a new card with a new card number issued to you.

Avast Software subscription: avast cleanup

John Henry Beeks, jr. went to a business; 15 months ago, to repair my laptop computer. They installed Avast software on my laptop, for a free trial. I didn't renew or agree to purchase any software. It's Fraud to charge my credit card; I didn't do business with Avast. I didn't give them my credit card information. You Have a lot of nerve; charging me; I told You...I didn't want Your software. Avast Software avast antivirus

I am writing to register a serious complaint.
I returned from holiday in September to discover I had been hacked. On my bank statement I noticed 3 payments to Avast on the same day, 21 August 2017: £44.99, £39.99 and £49.99. I immediately rang your Helpline and spoke to Jack Harris on Ext 309. He promised to investigate and came back to confirm I had been hacked. 2 addresses in California and one in Nigeria had been taking money from my account in the name of Avid Software ([protected], [protected] and [protected]).
He was able to rectify the “error” and restore my account which I had lost in a bad computer crash back in July. He then referred me to Microsoft Network Support Team (UK Infotech) to rectify the damage in Windows. For this limited amount of work they wanted to bill me for £425.98.
At this point I smelled a scam and consulted my bank, Nationwide Building Society, in Norwich. They referred me to their Fraud Unit who confirmed I’d been the victim of fraud and directed me not to pay the outstanding bill. At first I was hassled on a daily basis for the money but after I spoke to the bank that eased and their invoice mysteriously disappeared from their website. I had one call 2 days ago when I told them I was not paying up.
Since then my wife and I with help from the bank have traced further unauthorised payments on a monthly basis going back to 2014. So what is the role and liability of AVAST in all this? I may have been a little lax in checking my monthly statements, but I am pushing 80 and grew up in an era when you didn’t expect your antivirus protector to be involved in defrauding you. Though looking through the pages of complaints on your website I shouldn’t be surprised. You do seem to be lacking in due diligence when it comes to your customers.
I thought I would run this by you before I pass it on to the regulators, not to mention the Press!
