Dress Republic review: I request you all out there please do not buy from this website its a fraud 19

We are newly weds, with our wedding coming up this June. Dress Republic was worst experience we've had from the delays in shipping to the actual product. First of all, we placed the order in December of 2020, the delivery date that we were told was February 28th, 2021. We waited 2 weeks after Feb 28th and never received it. We then followed up numerous times about the dress, and we kept being told that the dress needs to be finalized. This back and forth kept continuing for another month, and we finally received it in April, nearly 2 months late. This delayed several other appointments we were trying to schedule after receiving the dress. To make matters worse, the dress itself was extremely disappointing when we received it. We purchased the Ruby Wine Capri Lehenga for $1700 USD, and it looked like a very low budget version of what was promoted on the website. The material felt very cheap and the decor had stitches coming out. We even had to cut the pieces of cloth that were visible. The lehenga piece was not below the feet as promoted on the website, rather it dropped to the ankle, which made the lehenga feel like it was an Abaya. It was a very disappointing dress, to the point where we had to physically go to another store and purchase a different wedding dress. Now we are down 1000s of dollars, and stuck with the disappointing dress we received from Dress Republic because their policies protect them from refunds or returns. We will surely not shop at this website again and nor will our family & friends.

Dress Republic.com is the biggest spammer. The guy Mohammed (I am not sure if he told us his real name) scammed Canadian $1500. It was the biggest embarrassment for us because my fiancé (now my wife) ordered a bridal dress from them by paying full amount CAN $1500. He promised delivery of the dress a month before the wedding date. However, kept promising and delaying until he didn’t send the dress and demanded more money to send it in the last minute. He then stopped answering any calls altogether and when asked for the refund he suggested he still sends us the wedding dress months after the ceremony! He messed up our marriage arrangements, which had to be postponed, and at the end, we rushed to buy a new dress locally and married at a different date.
Until, today he didn’t return our payment and we didn’t receive any product we paid for, although we don’t need the dress anymore.
As I can see here, he scammed many people and their hard-earned money. As I am proceeding to take legal action against him, if anyone of you have further evidence, please contact me at the phone number or email below to save others from his scamming business across the world.

On October 10th 2013, I contact Mohammed Aziz regarding having 3 dresses made by November 20th, 2013 for a wedding, He agreed to the delivery date which was reasonable with the dates on the website (4-6 weeks). I originally paid with AMEX, he called me one week later and said he would give me 10% off I I paid in cash. I paid him half then about $850, he told me when I receive the order I would pay him the other half. He called me one week before the wedding and said that he would not send my order until he got the rest in cash, I so paid him the remaining balance of $800. I GOT SCAMMED! DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU. I have not received the orders yet and it's 12-22-2013. Mohammed does not reply to my emails or calls. I'm out $1500. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I will be posting several complaints all over the internet. If anyone is considering buying from here, please reply to my post.

Do Not buy from dress republic EVER. Bad customer service, I placed order in January 2016, still waiting . I alreday paid the full amount, BIG mistake. MY money is gone and no one seems to care . I have tried to call several times, leaving voice mails, sent multiple e mails, no response. This website is a BIG FRAUD. SHOULD BE REPORTED . Not sure who to contact regarding this.

Well who knew I needed Pakistani Salwar Kameez? I am usually into Indian Designer wear but heard a lot of buzz about Pakistani designers and their sophisticated designs here in Santa Clara. I was also looking for some change, thus decided to go for it at my cousin’s engagement party. I decided to get them online and looked up some good Pakistani designer Salwar Kameez on Google and found Dressrepublic.com store website.

The first thing that really amazed me about them is, their store website has vast collection of dresses, and has everything to offer from Pakistani Lawn Dresses to Heavy Party wear (Occasion wear) and Bridal outfits. The wide range of collection is what made me to first go through their entire special occasion dresses category, and upon selecting two dresses for cousin’s engagement party, call them to place my order online. If you need customization in your dress for example you want black dress in white, they have this service too, that too is free of cost (except customizations that involve embroidery, I learned this from Mohammad, their Customer Service Representative, extremely nice guy I must say). So I ordered two dresses from them back in January 2014, and my real treasure went on with the extremely good quality of embellishments and stitching that were evident in the dresses I ordered and received. Open all their categories and see what treasures await. They have stuff from all the top Pakistani / Indian fashion designers. All the merchandise on their website is branded. It's a good place for woman like me who cannot compromise on quality, but have limited budget to spend on.

my experience with dressrepublic.com has been good. I remember some 8 months back I went online to look for some
designer Pakistani dresses for special occasion as I wanted a dress for my engagement. Quickly, i found Dressrepublic and was instantly blown away by their site’s aesthetics. The colors themes and style that they had on the site was amazing, and it gave the impression that if these guys have a beautiful and quality site, how beautiful and quality must their clothes be!

i went looking throughout the site to find something i liked, it was difficult for me, as i had a set amount to spend and there was
just so much that i wanted! I really found it hard to decide which one I should go for. I, after consulting with their customer service people and my family and friends, eventually selected an Anarkali dress from their Special Occasion dresses category, and a set of matching jewelry that was made in silver for my engagement day. These items were a bit overpriced so I asked for some
discount and got it from Mohammad, the guy at their customer service. He kept me informed about the production progress of my engagement dress and jewelry set, still I awaited my delivery impatiently though lol. They came on the very
day that they said they would, and there were no complications or headaches. I would strongly recommend Dressrepublic for the complete shopping experience, great site, top quality embellishment work and tailoring, competitive prices,
quick delivery, excellent customer service, you can't lose!

We ordered dresses for the whole family. My brother sherwani, bridal dresses and dresses for all the family members. It i s a huge order. The guy at the beginning was very nice and i placed the order 3 months back still did not receive any of the dresses. First he was very nice and now he does not attend his phone and talks very rudely. The wedding is in a week and i still have not received the dresses.
I am actually really worried because the dresses are for the entire family. Still the guy is not responding plus he is very rude now.
Everytime i call somebody else picks up the phone and tells he is offering salah or something and never here back from him. I really want the owners to do something before i end up not wearing the clothes at my brothers wedding.

I ordered DR3875 from this site Dressrepublic.com and had a timely delivery. Secondly, the stitching and fitting was good except for the dupatta which was 2.5 yard long. I am not that tall so I had to get it altered / cut to 60-inches and now I can carry it well. Usually when I order from India they send me 60 inches long dupatta so please in future make small length dupatta for petite ladies like me. Besides that, everything about the dress was fantastic. The fabric was far superior quality than what I usually get from India and the embellishment was very good as well.

I've had the same problem as many people here - great customer service at the beginning and promises of service, but then disaster later! DR almost ruined our wedding - my husband and I ordered clothes and they promised (verbally and in print on our invoice) we would have them by June 25 for a July 7 wedding. After missing the deadline, we started getting worried and calling, they kept lying to us about the dates it would arrive ensuring us we would have it in time, and then they told us we would have it by the monday AFTER our wedding! We told them this was unacceptable we needed it before the wedding, obviously, and they said this was impossible could they ship after. We told them absolutely not, the clothes were for a wedding and we have no need for them after, and they said we would eventually get a refund. After speaking with them many times being promised a manager's attention within 24 hours, they have started ignoring our calls and emails, and it looks like we may never get the large amount of money we spent on these items back. I am extremely disgusted with this level of service, all from a company that pretends to be religious, offering deals for Eid and Ramadan. Shame on Dress Republic for almost ruining our wedding (we had to buy new outfits 3 days before in NJ!) and trying to steal our money!

The same thing has happened to me! They tell u that your order will be processed after 5 weeks so that if you have paid by paypal u don't have enough time to file a dispute afterwards! And i have been waiting for my order for last 2 months! I have already reported this scam to the concerned authorities, i suggest u guys do the same because the agency I contacted are compiling data against this company.

this company is horrible! do not order from them! they are liars, cheaters and thieves! they promised me a dress and of course it did not arrive and my ENTIRE function was cancelled. no apology, nothing. they also charged me for services i have not received. do NOT shop with them!

their products are good, esp. embellishments and fabrics i found them better than any local retailer in new jersey and new york. after receiving my dresses i recommended this website to my friends and family circle and have not yet heard any complaint from any of them. my personal order was very good, a little problem found which was resolved later on and i have been very happy with their response to my issue. keep up the good work dress republic.

I have had a bad experience. My wedding is this weekend and I was promised by the sales rep on the phone that my dress would arrive in time. Last week, I checked on the status by email and the customer service rep said that the package would go out last weekend via 3-day shipping. Well, it never arrived so I checked in again. No reply. I emailed again. Finally he tells me that the stitching is going on now and it will be "dispatched" on Saturday - the day of my event!

Since getting this email, I have sent two urgent follow-up emails, and left 3 voicemails. I have tried multiple phone numbers, too - although they all direct to the same place.

I now see that this was a big fraud and I should have seen all the signs. The customer service was great in the beginning when it was all about taking my money. Now there is no sign from anyone except to lead me on. I spent a lot of money on a very important dress. I thought it was wonderful that there was a site where you could custom-order an outfit like you would in India. But, yes, it was too good to be true.

This website is a complete fraud.i purchased over £2000 of clothing and they were absolutely nothing like the site. The material was rubbish and cheap. The so called crystals were cheap plastic. The tailoring was atrocious! I can not begin to express the simply rubbish quality and urge all those vulnerable victims out there to NOT buy from here
