Dr. J's Ragdolls / cat

1 IL, United States Review updated:

I purchased a ragdoll kitten from Dr. J. Woll in Jan 2009. I wanted a blue mitted ragdoll. I sought out this cat breed for it's sweet, docile nature that is good with kids. I have two kids that were 7 and 8 at the time. Dr. J. basically chose one for me and said it was a "blue." Not only did she turn out NOT to be a blue mitted ragdoll that I wanted but the personality of the cat is terrible. She nips and bites us and is not crazy about anyone petting her or letting us groom her--and I did everything I was suppose to when she was a kitten to get her to get use to this. We have to tell guests that she is mean and doesn't want to be touched just so she doesn't bite them. She is not sweet. She is not docile. She is instead strong willed and defiant and even growls at us when we want to love her. We still love our cat and accept her, but it's not the personality nor the color/type of ragdoll that I wanted for the price I paid. Beware of what she tells you.

we have purchased the most adorable, loving and beautiful cat I could ever ask for from Dr J. She was kind, honest and up front with more info I ever needed about the purchase and breed. In fact I am going to add another kitten to our family, very soon, from her! I highly recommend her. Deb K. from NJ
